यूहन्ना 17
1 येशूले यी कुराहरू भनिसक्नुभएपछि स्वर्गतिर आफ्ना आँखा उचालेर भन्नुभयो, “पिता, समय आएको छ; आफ्ना पुत्रलाई महिमित पार्नुहोस्, ताकि पुत्रले तपाईंलाई महिमित पारोस्,
THESE things spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son may glorify thee:
2 जसरी तपाईंले पुत्रलाई सारा शरीरमाथि अधिकार दिनुभयो, ताकि जसलाई तपाईंले तिनलाई दिनुभएको छ तिनीहरू सबैलाई अनन्त जीवन मिलोस् । (aiōnios g166)
even as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that with regard to all those whom thou hast given him, he should give to them eternal life: (aiōnios g166)
3 यो अनन्त जीवन होः तिनीहरूले तपाईंलाई अर्थात् एक मात्र साँचा परमेश्वर, र जसलाई तपाईंले पठाउनुभएको छ अर्थात् येशू ख्रीष्टलाई चिनून् । (aiōnios g166)
and this is eternal life, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou hast sent, Jesus, the Messiah. (aiōnios g166)
4 मैले संसारमा तपाईंलाई महिमित तुल्याएको छु । तपाईंले मलाई गर्न दिनुभएको काम मैले सिद्ध्याएको छु ।
I have glorified thee upon earth: I have completed the work which thou gavest me to perform.
5 अब, हे पिता, संसार बनिनुभन्दा अगि नै मसँग तपाईंमा भएको महिमाले मलाई तपाईंसँगै महिमित पार्नुहोस् ।
And now, Father, do thou glorify me with thyself in the glory which I held with thee before the world was.
6 तपाईंले मलाई संसारबाट दिनुभएका मानिसहरूकहाँ मैले तपाईंको नाउँ प्रकट गरेँ । तिनीहरू तपाईंका थिए, र तपाईंले तिनीहरू मलाई दिनुभयो, अनि तिनीहरूले तपाईंको वचन पालन गरेका छन् ।
I have made known thy name to the persons whom thou gavest me out of the world: for thee they had a being, and to me thou hast given them; and thy word have they kept.
7 अब तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएका सबै थोक तपाईंबाट नै आउँदछन् भनी तिनीहरू जान्दछन्,
Now have they known, that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee.
8 किनकि मैले सबै वचनहरू तिनीहरूलाई दिएको छु जुन तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभयो । तिनीहरूले ती ग्रहण गरे र म तपाईंबाटै आएको हुँ भनेर तिनीहरूले साँच्चै जाने र तपाईंले नै मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भनी तिनीहरूले विश्वास गरे ।
For the declarations which thou gavest to me I have delivered to them; and they have received them, and have known assuredly that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou hast sent me.
9 म तिमीहरूका लागि प्रार्थना गर्दछु । म संसारको निम्ति प्रार्थना गर्दिनँ, तर तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएकाहरूका निम्ति प्रार्थना गर्छु, किनकि तिनीहरू तपाईंका हुन् ।
I entreat for them: I make no request for the world; but for those thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 सबै जो मेरा हुन्, ती तपाईंका हुन् र तपाईंका सबै मेरा हुन्; म तिनीहरूमा महिमित हुन्छु ।
And all mine are thine, and thine mine; and I have been glorified in them.
11 अब उप्रान्त म संसारमा हुन्नँ, तर यी मानिसहरू संसारमा छन् र म तपाईंकहाँ आउँदै छु । हे पवित्र पिता, यिनीहरूलाई तपाईंको नाउँमा सुरक्षा दिनुहोस् जसलाई तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएको छ, ताकि जसरी हामी एक छौँ त्यसरी नै तिनीहरू एक होऊन् ।
And now no longer am I in this world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to thee. Holy Father! preserve them for thy name’s sake whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 म तिनीहरूसँग हुँदा मैले तिनीहरूलाई तपाईंको नाउँमा सुरक्षा दिएँ, जसलाई तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएको छ । मैले तिनीहरूलाई सुरक्षा दिएँ, र विनाशको पुत्रबाहेक तिनीहरूमध्ये कोही पनि नष्ट भएन, ताकि धर्मशास्त्र पुरा होस् ।
When I was with them in the world, I preserved them by thy name: those whom thou hast given me have I guarded, and not one of them is perished, except the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 अब म तपाईंकहाँ आउँदै छु, तर म यी कुराहरू संसारमा नै भनिरहेको छु, ताकि तिनीहरूले मेरो आनन्द तिनीहरूमा पुरा गरून् ।
But now I am coming to thee; and I am speaking these things in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 मैले तिनीहरूको वचन दिएको छु, संसारले तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गरेको छ, किनभने जस्तो म संसारको होइनँ, तिनीहरू पनि संसारका होइनन् ।
I have given them thy word and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 तपाईंले तिनीहरूलाई संसारबाट लैजानु होस् भनेर होइन, तर तिनीहरूलाई दुष्टबाट बचाउनुहोस् भनी म तपाईंसँग बिन्ती गर्दछु ।
I entreat not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest preserve them from the wicked one.
16 जस्तो म संसारको होइन, तिनीहरू पनि संसारका होइनन् ।
They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17 तिनीहरूलाई सत्यतामा आफ्नै लागि समर्पण गर्नुहोस् । तपाईंको वचन सत्य छ ।
Sanctify them by thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 जसरी तपाईंले मलाई संसारमा पठाउनुभयो, त्यसरी नै मैले तिनीहरूलाई संसारमा पठाएको छु ।
As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I sent them into the world.
19 तिनीहरूका खातिर म आफैँलाई समर्पण गर्दछु, ताकि तिनीहरू आफैँ पनि सत्यतामा तपाईंमा समर्पण गरिनेछन् ।
And for them I devote myself, that they also might be sanctified by the truth.
20 म यिनीहरूका लागि मात्र होइन तर तिनीहरूका लागि पनि प्रार्थना गर्दछु जसले तिनीहरूको वचनद्वारा मलाई विश्वास गर्नेछन्,
And not for them do I make request only, but also for those who shall believe in me through their word;
21 ताकि जसरी तपाईं अर्थात् पिता ममा हुनुहुन्छ, र म तपाईंमा छु त्यसरी नै तिनीहरू सबै एक होऊन् । म यो प्रार्थना गर्दछु, कि तिनीहरू पनि हामीमा होऊन् ताकि तपाईंले मलाई पठाउनुभएको हो भनी संसारले विश्वास गरोस् ।
that all may be one; as thou, Father, in me, and I in thee, that these also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएको महिमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई दिएको छु, ताकि हामी एक भएझैँ तिनीहरू पनि एक होऊन् ।
And I have given them the glory, which thou hast given me; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 म तिनीहरूमा छु, र तपाईं ममा हुनुहुन्छ, ताकि तिनीहरू एक भएर पूर्ण होऊन्, ताकि तपाईंले मलाई पठाउनुभएको थियो भनी संसारले जानोस्, अनि तपाईंले मलाई प्रेम गर्नुभएजस्तै मैले तिनीहरूलाई पनि प्रेम गरेँ ।
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be perfected into one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 हे पिता, जसलाई तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएको छ तिनीहरू म जहाँ छु त्यहीँ होऊन् भन्ने म चाहन्छु, ताकि तिनीहरूले मेरो महिमा देखून् जुन तपाईंले मलाई दिनुभएको छ । किनभने तपाईंले मलाई संसारको सृष्टिअगि देखि नै प्रेम गर्नुभएको छ ।
Father, those whom thou hast given me, I will that where I am they may also be with me; that they may behold my glory, which thou gavest me: because thou hast loved me before the foundation of the world.
25 हे धर्मी पिता, यो संसारले तपाईंलाई चिनेन, तर म तपाईंलाई चिन्दछु; र तपाईंले मलाई पठाउनुभयो भनी यिनीहरू जान्दछन् ।
Righteous Father! though the world hath not known thee, yet I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 मैले तपाईंको नाउँलाई तिनीहरूका बिचमा परिचित तुल्याएको छु र मैले यसलाई परिचित तुल्याउनेछु, ताकि जुन प्रेमले तपाईंले मलाई प्रेम गर्नुभयो, त्यो तिनीहरूमा रहोस् र म तिनीहरूमा रहनेछु ।
And I have made known to them thy name, and will make it known: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
