योएल 3

1 हेर, ती दिनमा र त्‍यो समयमा, यहूदा र यरूशलेमका निर्वासितहरूलाई मैले फर्काउँदा,

“For behold, in those days, and in that time, When I turn back [to] the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

2 सबै जातिहरूलाई म भेला गर्नेछु, र तिनीहरूलाई यहोशापातको बेंसीमा तल लैजानेछु । मेरा मानिसहरू र मेरो उत्तराधिकार इस्राएलको कारणले, जसलाई तिनीहरूले जातिहरूका बिचमा छरपष्‍ट पारेको, र मेरो देशलाई तिनीहरूले भाग-भागको पारेको कारणले, त्यहाँ म तिनीहरुको न्‍याय गर्नेछु ।

Then I have gathered all the nations, And caused them to go down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, And I have been in judgment with them there, Concerning My people and My inheritance—Israel, Whom they scattered among nations, And My land they have apportioned.

3 तिनीहरूले मेरा मानिसहरूका निम्ति चिट्‍ठा हाले, एउटी वेश्‍या पाउनलाई केटालाई बेचे, र दाखमद्य पिउनलाई केटीलाई बेचे, यसरी तिनीहरूले जाँड-रक्‍सी पिए ।

And for My people they cast a lot, And they give the young man for a harlot, And have sold the young woman for wine, That they may drink.

4 अब, टुरोस, सीदोन र पलिश्‍तीका सबै क्षेत्रहरू, तिमीहरू किन मसँग रिसाउँछौ? के तिमीहरूले मलाई बदला लिन सक्छौ? तिमीहरूले मलाई बदला लियौ भने पनि, तिमीहरूको बदलालाई म तुरुन्तै तिमीहरूकै थाप्‍लोमा फर्काउनेछु ।

And also, what [are] you to Me, O Tyre and Sidon, And all circuits of Philistia? Are you rendering repayment to Me? And if you are giving repayment to Me, Swiftly, quickly, I return your repayment on your head.

5 किनकि तिमीहरूले मेरो चाँदी र सुन लग्‍यौ, र मेरा बहुमुल्य धनसम्पत्ति तिमीहरूले आफ्ना मन्दिरहरूमा लग्‍यौ ।

In that My silver and My gold you took, And My desirable things that are good, You have brought into your temples.

6 यहूदा र यरूशलेमका मानिसहरूलाई तिनीहरूका इलाकाबाट टाढा हटाउनलाई, तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई ग्रीकहरूका हातमा बेचिदियौ ।

And sons of Judah, and sons of Jerusalem, You have sold to the sons of Javan, To put them far off from their border.

7 हेर, तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूलाई बेचेका ठाउँबाट, म तिनीहरूलाई माथि उठाउनेछु, र तिमीहरूकै टाउकोमा त्‍यसको मुल्‍य चुकाउनेछु ।

Behold, I am stirring them up out of the place To where you have sold them, And I have turned back your repayment on your head,

8 यहूदाका मानिसहरूका हातद्वारा, तिमीहरूका छोराहरू र छोरीहरूलाई म बेचिदिनेछु । टाढाको जाति शबाहरूका हातमा, तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई बेच्नेछन्, किनकि परमप्रभुले बोल्‍नुभएको छ ।”

And have sold your sons and your daughters Into the hand of the sons of Judah, And they have sold them to Sabeans, To a nation far off, for YHWH has spoken.”

9 जातिहरूका बिचमा यो कुरा घोषणा गर, “युद्धको निम्ति आफैंलाई तयार गर, शक्तिशाली मानिसहरूलाई जगाओ, तिनीहरूलाई नजिक आउन देओ, युद्धका सबै मानिसहरू माथि आऊन् ।

Proclaim this among nations, Sanctify a war, stir up the mighty ones, Come near, come up, let all the men of war.

10 आफ्ना फालीहरू पिटेर तरवारहरू बनाओ र छिमल्ने खुकुरीहरू पिटेर भालाहरू बनाओ । कमजोरले भनोस्, ‘म बलियो छु ।’

Beat your plowshares to swords, And your pruning-hooks to javelins, Let the weak say, “I [am] mighty.”

11 ए सबै नजिकका जातिहरू, हतार गर र आओ, आफूलाई एकसाथ त्यहाँ भेला पार । हे परमप्रभु, आफ्‍ना शक्तिशाली योद्धाहरूलाई तल ल्याउनुहोस् ।

Hurry, and come in, all you nations around, And be gathered together, There cause to come down, O YHWH, Your mighty ones.

12 जातिहरूले आफैंलाई जगाऊन् र यहोशापातको बेसीमा उक्‍लेर आऊन् । किनकि वरिपरिका सबै जातिको न्‍याय गर्न, म त्यहीं बस्‍नेछु ।

“Let the nations wake and come up to the Valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I sit to judge all the nations around.

13 हँसिया बोक, किनकि फसल पाकेको छ । आओ, दाखहरूलाई पेल, किनको दाखको कोल भरिएको छ । घ्‍याम्‍पोहरू भरिएर पोखिन्‍छन्, किनकि तिनीहरूका दुष्‍टता विशाल छ ।”

Send forth a sickle, For harvest has ripened, Come in, come down, for the press has been filled, Winepresses have overflowed, For great [is] their wickedness.”

14 त्‍यहाँ होहल्‍ला छ, इन्साफको बेसीमा कोलाहल छ । किनकि इन्साफको बेसीमा परमप्रभुको दिन नजिकै छ ।

Multitudes, multitudes [are] in the Valley of Decision, For near [is] the Day of YHWH in the Valley of Decision.

15 सुर्य र चन्द्रमा अन्धकार हुन्छन्, र ताराहरूले आफ्नो चमक लुकाउँछन् ।

Sun and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.

16 सियोनबाट परमप्रभु गर्जनुहुन्छ, र यरूशलेमबाट आफ्नो आवाज उठाउनुहुन्छ । आकाश र पृथ्‍वी थरथर काम्‍नेछन्, तर परमप्रभु आफ्‍ना मानिसहरूका निम्ति शरणस्थान, र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका निम्ति किल्‍ला हुनुहुनेछ ।

And YHWH roars from Zion, And gives forth His voice from Jerusalem, And the heavens and earth have shaken, And YHWH [is] a refuge to His people, And a stronghold to sons of Israel.

17 “यसैले, परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वर म नै हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ, म आफ्‍नो पवित्र पर्वत सियोनमा बास गर्छु । तब यरूशलेम पवित्र हुनेछ, र त्यसबाट फेरि कहिलै कुनै सेना हिंड्‍नेछैन ।

“And you have known that I [am] your God YHWH, Dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain, And Jerusalem has been holy, And strangers do not pass over into it again.”

18 त्यो दिनमा यस्‍तो हुनेछ, पहाडहरूबाट मिठो दाखमद्य चुहिनेछ, डाँडाहरूबाट दूध बग्‍नेछ, यहूदाका सबै खोलाहरूमा पानी बग्‍नेछ, र परमप्रभुको मन्‍दिरबाट मूल फुट्नेछ, र शित्तिमको उपत्यकालाई भिजाउनेछ ।

And it has come to pass in that day, The mountains drop down juice, And the hills flow [with] milk, And all streams of Judah go [with] water, And a fountain from the house of YHWH goes forth, And has watered the Valley of Shittim.

19 यहूदाका मानिसहरूमाथि अत्याचार गरिएको हुनाले, तिनीहरूले आफ्नो देशमा निर्दोष रगत बगाएको हुनाले, मिश्र त्‍यागिएर उजाड हुनेछ, र एदोमचाहिं त्यागिएको उजाड-स्‍थान हुनेछ ।

“Egypt becomes a desolation, And Edom becomes a desolation, a wilderness, For violence [to] sons of Judah, Whose innocent blood they shed in their land.

20 तर यहूदामा सधैं मानिसहरू बसोबास गर्नेछन्, र यरूशलेममा चाहिं पुस्तादेखि पुस्तासम्म बसोबास हुनेछ ।

And Judah dwells for all time, And Jerusalem to generation and generation.

21 मैले बदला नलिएको रगतको म बदला लिनेछु, किनकि परमप्रभु सियोनमा बास गर्नुहुन्‍छ ।”

And I have declared their blood innocent, [That] I did not declare innocent, And YHWH is dwelling in Zion!”
