अय्यूब 36
1 एलीहूले निरन्तर बोले र यसो भने,
And Elius further continued, and said,
2 “मलाई अरू थोरै समय बोल्न दिनुहोस्, र म तपाईंहरूलाई केही कुरा देखाउनेछु, किनकि परमेश्वरको समर्थनमा मैले अलिकति अरू भन्नुछ ।
Wait for me yet a little while, that I may teach you: for there is yet speech in me.
3 म धेरै टाढाबाट आफ्नो ज्ञान प्राप्त गर्नेछु । धार्मिकता मेरा सृष्टिकर्ताको हो भनी म स्वीकार गर्छु ।
Having fetched my knowledge from afar, and according to my works,
4 किनकि वास्तवमा नै मेरा शब्दहरू झुटा हुनेछैनन् । ज्ञानमा परिपक्व कोही एक जना तपाईंहरूसँग हुनुहुन्छ ।
I will speak just things truly, and you shall not unjustly receive unjust words.
5 हेर्नुहोस्, परमेश्वर शक्तिशाली हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँले कसैलाई तिरस्कार गर्नुहुन्न । समझशक्तिको ताकतमा उहाँ शक्तिशाली हुनुहुन्छ ।
But know that the Lord will not cast off an innocent man: being mighty in strength of wisdom,
6 दुष्ट मानिसहरूका जीवनलाई उहाँले जोगाउनुहुन्न, बरु, दुःख भोग्नेहरूका लागि जे ठिक हुन्छ, त्यही गर्नुहुन्छ ।
he will not by any means save alive the ungodly: and he will grant the judgment of the poor.
7 उहाँले धर्मी मानिसहरूबाट आफ्नो दृष्टि हटाउनुहुन्न, तर त्यसको साटोमा राजालाई झैं तिनीहरूलाई सधैंभरि सिंहासनमा राख्नुहुन्छ, र तिनीहरू माथि उचालिन्छन् ।
He will not turn away his eyes from the righteous, but [they shall be] with kings on the throne: and he will establish them in triumph, and they shall be exalted.
8 तिनीहरू साङ्लाले बाँधिए अनि दुःखका डोरीमा अल्झिए भने,
But they that are bound in fetters shall be holden in cords of poverty.
9 तब तिनीहरूले जे गरेका हुन्छन्, अनि तिनीहरूका अपराध र तिनीहरूका घमण्ड, उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई प्रकट गर्नुहुन्छ ।
And he shall recount to them their works, and their transgressions, for such will act with violence.
10 उहाँको निर्देशन सुन्नलाई उहाँले तिनीहरूका कान खुल्ला गर्नुहुन्छ, र अधर्मबाट फर्कन तिनीहरूलाई आदेश दिनुहुन्छ ।
But he will listen to the righteous: and he has said that they shall turn from unrighteousness.
11 तिनीहरूले उहाँको सोर सुने अनि उहाँको आराधना गरे भने, तिनीहरूले आफ्नो समय समृद्धिमा, र आफ्ना वर्षहरू सन्तुष्टिमा बिताउनेछन् ।
If they should hear and serve [him], they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in honor.
12 यद्यपि, तिनीहरू सुन्दैनन् भने, तिनीहरू तरवारले नष्ट पारिनेछन् । तिनीहरूसँग ज्ञान नभएको हुनाले तिनीहरू मर्नेछन् ।
But he preserves not the ungodly; because they are not willing to know the Lord, and because when reproved they were disobedient.
13 हृदयमा ईश्वर नभएकाहरूले आफ्नो रिसलाई थुपार्छन् । परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूलाई बाँध्नुहुँदा पनि तिनीहरू मदतको लागि पुकारा गर्दैनन् ।
And the hypocrites in heart will array wrath [against themselves]; they will not cry, because he has bound them.
14 तिनीहरू आफ्नो युवावस्थामा मर्छन् । तिनीहरूको जीवन झुटा धर्मका वेश्याहरूका बिचमा बित्छ ।
Therefore let their soul die in youth, and their life be wounded by messengers [of death].
15 कष्टमा परेका मानिसहरूलाई परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूका कष्टबाट छुटकारा दिनुहुन्छ । तिनीहरूको थिचोमिचोमा उहाँले तिनीहरूसँग बोल्नुहुन्छ ।
Because they afflicted the weak and helpless: and he will vindicate the judgment of the meek.
16 वास्तवमा उहाँले तपाईंलाई निराशाबाट निकालेर, कुनै कठिनाइ नहुने एउटा फराकिलो ठाउँमा लाने इच्छा गर्नुहुन्छ, र तपाईंको टेबल मासुको प्रशस्तताले भरिपूर्ण गर्नुहुन्छ ।
And he has also enticed you out of the mouth of the enemy:
17 तर दुष्ट मानिसहरूलाई तपाईं न्याय गर्न पूर्ण हुनुहुन्छ । इन्साफ र न्यायले तपाईंलाई समातेका छन् ।
[there is] a deep gulf [and] a rushing stream beneath it, and your table came down full of fatness. Judgment shall not fail from the righteous;
18 तपाईंको रिसले तपाईंलाई गिल्ला पाउने नबनाओस्, वा घुसको ठुलो रकमले तपाईंलाई पाखा नलगाओस् ।
but there shall be wrath upon the ungodly, by reason of the ungodliness of the bribes which they received for iniquities.
19 तपाईंको धन-सम्पत्तिले तपाईंलाई यति फाइदा दिन्छ जसले गर्दा तपाईं निराशामा पर्नुहुन्न? अर्थात् तपाईंको ताकतको सबै शक्तिले तपाईंलाई मदत गर्न सक्छ?
Let not [your] mind willingly turn you aside from the petition of the feeble that are in distress.
20 अरूको विरुद्धमा पाप गर्नलाई रातको इच्छा नगर्नुहोस्, जति बेला मानिसहरू आ-आफ्ना ठाउँमा मारिन्छन् ।
And draw not forth all the mighty [men] by night, so that the people should go up instead of them.
21 तपाईं पाप गर्नतिर नफर्कनलाई होसियार हुनुहोस्, किनकि तपाईंले पाप गर्न नपरोस् भनेर कष्टद्वारा तपाईंको जाँच हुँदैछ ।
But take heed lest you do that which is wrong: for of this you has made choice because of poverty.
22 हेर्नुहोस्, परमेश्वर आफ्नो शक्तिमा उचालिनुभएको छ । उहाँजस्तै शिक्षक को छ र?
Behold, the Mighty One shall prevail by his strength: for who is powerful as he is?
23 उहाँको चालको विषयमा कसले उहाँलाई कदापि निर्देशन दिएको छ र? कसले उहाँलाई कदापि यसो भन्न सक्छ र, 'तपाईंले अधर्मको काम गर्नुभएको छ?'
And who is he that examines his works? or who can say, he has wrought injustice?
24 उहाँका कामहरूको प्रशंसा गर्न नबिर्सिनुहोस् जसको बारेमा मानिसहरूले गाएका छन् ।
Remember that his works are great [beyond] those which men have attempted.
25 सबै मानिसले ती कामहरू हेरेका छन्, तर तिनीहरूले ती कामहरू टाढाबाट मात्र देख्छन् ।
Every man has seen in himself, how many mortals are wounded.
26 हेर्नुहोस्, परमेश्वर महान् हुनुहुन्छ, तर हामी उहाँलाई राम्ररी बुझ्न सक्दैनौं । उहाँका वर्षहरूको सङ्ख्याको गणना गर्न सकिंदैन ।
Behold, the Mighty One is great, and we shall not know [him]: the number of his years is even infinite.
27 किनकि उहाँले पानीको थोपालाई माथि तान्नुहुन्छ, आफ्नो बाफलाई चिसो पारेर झरी पार्नुहुन्छ,
And the drops of rain are numbered by him, and shall be poured out in rain to form a cloud.
28 जसलाई बादलहरूले तल खन्याउँछन्, र मानवजातिमा प्रचुर मात्रामा पानी पर्छ ।
The ancient [heavens] shall flow, and the clouds overshadow innumerable mortals: he has fixed a time to cattle, and they know the order of rest. [Yet] by all these things your understanding is not astonished, neither is your mind disturbed in [your] body.
29 वास्तवमा के कसैले बादलको बृहत् फैलावट, र उहाँको बासस्थानबाट निस्कने गर्जनलाई बुझ्न सक्छ?
And though one should understand the outspreadings of the clouds, [or] the measure of his tabernacle;
30 हेर्नुहोस्, उहाँले आफ्नो वरिपरि बिजुली चम्काउनुहुन्छ, र समुद्रको गहिराइलाई ढाक्नुहुन्छ ।
behold he will stretch his bow against him, and he covers the bottom of the sea.
31 यसरी उहाँले मानिसहरूको इन्साफ गर्नुहुन्छ, र प्रचुर मात्रामा खानेकुरा दिनुहुन्छ ।
For by them he will judge the nations: he will give food to him that has strength.
32 उहाँले बिजुलीलाई निशानामा प्रहार गर्न आज्ञा नदिनुभएसम्म त्यसलाई आफ्नो हातमा लिनुहुन्छ ।
He has hidden the light in [his] hands, and given charge concerning it to the interposing [cloud].
33 यसको गर्जनले आँधी-बेहरीको चेताउनी दिन्छ, गाईवस्तुले पनि त्यसको आगमनको आवाज सुन्छ ।
The Lord will declare concerning this [to] his friend: [but there is] a portion also for unrighteousness.
