अय्यूब 19
1 तब अय्यूबले जवाफ दिए र भने,
Then Job answered, and said:
2 “कहिलेसम्म तपाईंहरूले मलाई दुःख दिनुहुन्छ, र वचनले मलाई टुक्राटुक्रा पार्नुहुन्छ?
How long do you afflict my soul, and break me in pieces with words?
3 यी दस पटक तपाईंहरूले मेरो अपमान गर्नुभएको छ । तपाईंहरूले मलाई कठोरतापूर्वक व्यवहार गरे पनि तपाईंहरू लाज मान्नुहुन्न ।
Behold, these ten times you confound me, and are not ashamed to oppress me.
4 मैले गल्ती गरेको कुरा वास्तवमा साँचो हो भने, मेरो गल्ती मेरो आफ्नै सरोकारको कुरो हो ।
For if I have been ignorant, my ignorance shall be with me.
5 तपाईंहरूले आफूलाई मभन्दा माथि उचाल्नुहुन्छ, र मेरो तुच्छता मेरै विरुद्धमा प्रयोग गर्नुहुन्छ भने,
But you have set yourselves up against me, and reprove me with my reproaches.
6 तब तपाईंहरूले जान्नुपर्छ, परमेश्वरले मेरो हानि गर्नुभएको र मलाई आफ्नो पासोमा पार्नुभएको छ।
At least now understand, that God hath not afflicted me with an equal judgment, and compassed me with his scourges.
7 हेर्नुहोस्, “हिंसा” भनेर म कराउँछु, तर मैले जवाफ पाउँदिन । मदतको लागि म पुकार्छु, तर त्यहाँ निष्पक्ष व्यवहार हुँदैन ।
Behold I cry suffering violence, and no one will hear: I shall cry aloud, and there is none to judge.
8 मेरो बाटोमा उहाँले पर्खाल लगाउनुभएको छ, यसैले म जान सक्दिनँ, अनि उहाँले मेरो मार्गमा अन्धकार राख्नुभएको छ ।
He hath hedged in my path round about, and I cannot pass, and in my way he hath set darkness.
9 उहाँले मेरो महिमा हटाउनुभएको छ, र उहाँले मेरो शिरको मुकुट हटाउनुभएको छ ।
He hath stripped me of my glory, and hath taken the crown from my head.
10 उहाँले मलाई चारैतिरबाट चूर पार्नुभएको छ, र लोप हुन्छ, उहाँले मेरो आशा रूखलाई झैं उखेल्नुभएको छ ।
He hath destroyed me on every side, and I am lost, and he hath taken away my hope, as from a tree that is plucked up.
11 उहाँले मेरो विरुद्धमा आफ्नो क्रोध पनि दन्काउनुभएको छ । उहाँले मलाई आफ्ना शत्रुहरूमध्ये एक ठान्नुहुन्छ ।
His wrath is kindled against me, and he hath counted me as his enemy.
12 उहाँका फौजहरू सँगसँगै आउँछन् । तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा घेरा लगाउँछन्, र मेरो पालको चारैतिर छाउनी हाल्छन् ।
His troops have come together, and have made themselves a way by me, and have besieged my tabernacle round about.
13 उहाँले मेरा दाजुभाइलाई मबाट टाढा राख्नुभएको छ । मैले चिनजानकाहरू मबाट बिलकुल अलग रहन्छन् ।
He hath put my brethren far from me, and my acquaintance like strangers have departed from me.
14 मेरा आफन्तहरू मबाट पछि हटेका छन् । मेरो घनिष्ठ मित्रहरूले मलाई बिर्सेका छन् ।
My kinsmen have forsaken me, and they that knew me, have forgotten me.
15 मेरो घरमा कुनै बेला पाहुना भएर रहेकाहरू र दासीहरूले मलाई बिरोनो ठान्छन् । तिनीहरूको दृष्टिमा म अनौठो भएको छु ।
They that dwelt in my house, and my maidservants have counted me a stranger, and I have been like an alien in their eyes.
16 म आफ्नो सेवकलाई बोलाउँछु, तर उसले मलाई जवाफ दिंदैन । मैले आफ्नै मुखले त्यसलाई बिन्ती गर्छु ।
I called my servant, and he gave me no answer, I entreated him with my own mouth.
17 मेरो सास मेरी पत्नीलाई दुर्गन्धित लाग्छ । मेरै आमाको गर्भबाट जन्मेकाहरूले पनि मलाई घृणा गर्छन् ।
My wife hath abhorred my breath, and I entreated the children of my womb.
18 सा-साना केटाकेटीले पनि मलाई तिरस्कार गर्छन् । म बोल्नलाई उठ्दा तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा बोल्छन् ।
Even fools despise me; and when I gone from them, they spoke against me.
19 मेरा सबै परिचित मित्रहरूले मलाई घृणा गर्छन् । मैले प्रेम गरेकाहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा लागेका छन् ।
They that were sometime my counsellors, have abhorred me: and he whom I love most is turned against me.
20 मेरा हड्डीहरू मेरो छाला र मासुमा टाँसिन्छन् । म आफ्ना दाँतको छालाले मात्र बाँचेको छु ।
The flesh being consumed. My bone hath cleaved to my skin, and nothing but lips are left about my teeth.
21 मलाई दया गर्नुहोस्, हे मेरा मित्रहरू हो, मलाई दया गर्नुहोस्, किनकि परमेश्वरको हातले मलाई छोएको छ ।
Have pity on me, have pity on me, at least you my friends, because the hand of the Lord hath touched me.
22 परमेश्वरले झैं तपाईंहरू किन मेरो खेदो गर्नुहुन्छ? मेरो शरीरले तपाईंहरूलाई कहिल्यै सन्तुष्ट पार्छ र?
Why do you persecute me as God, and glut yourselves with my flesh?
23 ओहो, मेरो वचनहरू यति बेला लेखिए त! ओहो, ती एउटा पुस्तकमा लेखिए त!
Who will grant me that my words may be written? Who will grant me that they may be marked down in a book?
24 ओहो, फलामको कलम र छिनोले, सदाको लागि ती चट्टानमा खोपे त!
With an iron pen and in a plate of lead, or else be graven with an instrument in flint stone.
25 तर मेरो बारेमा, मेरा उद्धारक जिउँदो हुनुहुन्छ, र अन्त्यमा उहाँ पृथ्वीमा खडा रहनुहुनेछ ।
For I know that my Redeemer liveth, and in the last day I shall rise out of the earth.
26 मेरो शरीरको छाला, अर्थात् शरीर पूरै गलेपछि, मेरो शरीरमा नै म परमेश्वरलाई देख्नेछु ।
And I shall be clothed again with my skin, and in my flesh I will see my God.
27 मेरा आफ्नै आँखाले— अरू कसैको होइन म आफैंले उहाँलाई देख्नेछु । मेरो हृदय मभित्रै विह्वल बन्छ ।
Whom I myself shall see, and my eyes shall behold, and not another: this my hope is laid up in my bosom.
28 तपाईंहरूले यसो भन्नुहुन्छ भने, 'हामी उसलाई कसरी सताउँ! उसको सङ्कष्टको जड ऊ आफै हो,'
Why then do you say now: Let us persecute him, and let us find occasion of word against him?
29 तब तरवारदेखि डराउनुहोस्, किनकि क्रोधले तरवारको दण्ड ल्याउँछ, यसरी न्याय हुन्छ भनी तपाईंहरूले जान्नुहुनेछ ।”
Flee then from the face of the sword, for the sword is the revenger of iniquities: and know ye that there is judgment.
