अय्यूब 16
1 तब अय्यूबले जवाफ दिए र भने,
Bvt Iob answered, and said,
2 “धेरै यस्ता कुराहरू मैले सुनेको छु । सान्वना दिने तपाईंहरू सबैले दुःख दिनुहुन्छ ।
I haue oft times heard such things: miserable comforters are ye all.
3 के व्यर्थका शब्दहरू कहिल्यै अन्त्य हुन्छन् कि? तपाईंहरूलाई के भयो जसले गर्दा तपाईंहरू यसरी जवाफ दिनुहुन्छ?
Shall there be none ende of wordes of winde? or what maketh thee bold so to answere?
4 तपाईंहरू ठाउँमा हुनुहुन्थ्यो भने, तपाईंहरूले बोलेझैं म पनि बोल्न सक्थें, तपाईंहरूको विरुद्धमा शब्दहरू जम्मा गर्न र मिलाउन सक्थें, र गिल्ला गर्दै मेरो शिर हल्लाउन सक्थें ।
I could also speake as yee doe: (but woulde God your soule were in my soules stead) I could keepe you company in speaking, and could shake mine head at you,
5 मेरो मुखले तपाईंहरूलाई बलियो पार्थें, र मेरो ओठको बरबरले तपाईंहरूलाई राहत ल्याउँथें ।
But I woulde strengthen you with my mouth, and the comfort of my lips should asswage your sorowe.
6 मैले बोल्दा त मेरो शोक कम हुँदैन । मैले बोल्न छाडें भने मलाई कसरी मदत हुन्छ?
Though I speake, my sorow can not be asswaged: though I cease, what release haue I?
7 तर हे परमेश्वर, तपाईंले मलाई थकित पार्नुभएको छ । तपाईंले मेरा सबै परिवारलाई सर्वनाश पार्नुभएको छ ।
But now hee maketh mee wearie: O God, thou hast made all my congregation desolate,
8 तपाईंले मलाई सुक्खा पार्नुभएको छ, जसले मेरो विरुद्धमा साक्षी दिन्छ । मेरो शरीरको दुब्लोपन मेरो विरुद्धमा खडा हुन्छ, र यसले मेरो अनुहारको विरुद्धमा साक्षी दिन्छ ।
And hast made me full of wrinkles which is a witnesse thereof, and my leannes ryseth vp in me, testifying the same in my face.
9 परमेश्वर क्रोधमा उहाँले मलाई टुक्रा पार्नुभएको, र मलाई सताउनुभएको छ । क्रोधमा उहाँले आफ्नो दाह्रा किट्नुहुन्छ । मेरो शत्रुले मलाई घुरेर हेर्नुहुन्छ ।
His wrath hath torne me, and hee hateth me, and gnasheth vpon mee with his teeth: mine enemie hath sharpened his eyes against me.
10 मानिसहरूले मलाई हेर्दै मुख खोलेर टोलाएका छन् । निन्दाले भरिएर तिनीहरूले मलाई गालामा थप्पड हानेका छन् । तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा एकसाथ भेला भएका छन्।
They haue opened their mouthes vpon me, and smitten me on the cheeke in reproch; they gather themselues together against me.
11 परमेश्वरले मलाई ईश्वरहीन मानिसहरूका हातमा दिनुहुन्छ, र मलाई दुष्ट मानिसहरूका हातमा फाल्नुहुन्छ ।
God hath deliuered me to the vniust, and hath made mee to turne out of the way by the hands of the wicked.
12 म चैनमा थिएँ, अनि उहाँले मलाई लुछ्नुभयो । वास्तवमा, उहाँले मलाई गलहत्त्याउनुभएको र टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नुभएको छ । उहाँले मलाई आफ्नो निसाना पनि बनाउनुभएको छ ।
I was in welth, but he hath brought me to nought: he hath taken me by the necke, and beaten me, and set me as a marke for himselfe.
13 उहाँका धनुर्धारीहरूले मेरो चारैतिर घेरा हाल्छन् । परमेश्वरले मेरा मिर्गौला छेड्नुहुन्छ, र मलाई छोड्नुहुन्न । उहाँले मेरो पित्त भुइँमा पोख्नुहुन्छ ।
His archers compasse mee rounde about: he cutteth my reines, and doth not spare, and powreth my gall vpon the ground.
14 उहाँले बारम्बार मेरो भित्तामा हिर्काउनुहुन्छ । एक जना लडाकुले झैं उहाँले मलाई झम्टिनुहुन्छ ।
He hath broken me with one breaking vpon another, and runneth vpon me like a gyant.
15 आफ्नो शरीर ढाक्नलाई मैले भाङ्ग्रा सिएको छु । मैले आफ्नो टाउकोलाई भुइँमा गाडेको छु ।
I haue sowed a sackcloth vpon my skinne, and haue abased mine horne vnto the dust.
16 रुँदा-रुँदा मेरो अनुहार रातो भएको छ । मेरो आँखाको वरिपरि मृत्युको छाया छ,
My face is withered with weeping, and the shadow of death is vpon mine eyes,
17 जबकि मेरा हातमा कुनै हिंसा छैन र मेरो प्रार्थना शुद्ध छ ।
Though there be no wickednesse in mine hands, and my prayer be pure.
18 ए पृथ्वी, मेरो रगतलाई नछोप । मेरो रोदनले विश्राम नपाओस् ।
O earth, couer not thou my blood, and let my crying finde no place.
19 अहिले पनि मेरो साक्षी स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ । मलाई स्याबासी दिनुहुने उच्चमा हुनुहुन्छ ।
For lo, now my witnesse is in the heauen, and my record is on hie.
20 मेरा मित्रहरूले मलाई खिसी गर्छन्, तर मेरो आँखाले परमेश्वरमा आँसु बगाउँछ ।
My friends speake eloquently against me: but mine eye powreth out teares vnto God.
21 मानिसले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई गरेझैं, स्वर्गमा हुनुभएको त्यो साक्षीलाई यस मानिसको पक्षमा परमेश्वरसित बहस गरिदिन म बिन्ती गर्छु ।
Oh that a man might pleade with God, as man with his neighbour!
22 किनकि जब केही वर्ष बितेर जान्छ, तब म त्यस्तो ठाउँमा जानेछु, जहाँबाट म फर्कनेछैनँ ।
For the yeeres accounted come, and I shall go the way, whence I shall not returne.
