यर्मिया 9

1 मेरो शिरले पानी उत्पादन गर्न सके हुन्‍थ्‍यो र मेरा आँखा आँसुको फुहारा भए हुन्‍थ्‍यो! किनकि मेरा मानिसहरूका छोरीको बिचमा मारिएकाहरूका निम्ति म दिनरात रुने इच्‍छा गर्छु ।

Who? will he give head my [was] water and eye my [was] a fountain of tear[s] so I may bewail by day and night [those] slain of [the] daughter of people my.

2 उजाड-स्थानमा यात्रुहरू बस्‍नका निम्ति कसैले मलाई एउटा ठाउँ दिए हुन्‍थ्‍यो, म आफ्‍ना मानिसहरूलाई त्‍याग्‍न त्यहाँ जान सक्‍थे । तिनीहरूलाई मैले छोड्‍न सके हुन्‍थ्‍यो, किनकि सबै व्यभिचारी, विश्‍वासघातीको जमात हुन्!

Who? will he give me in the wilderness a lodging place of travelers and I will leave people my and I will go from with them for all of them [are] adulterers an assembly of treacherous [people].

3 परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, “आफ्‍ना झूटका धनुहरूलाई तिनीहरूले आफ्ना जिब्राले दबाउँछन्, तर तिनीहरूको विश्‍वसनीयताको कारणले तिनीहरू पृथ्वीमा बलिया भएर बढ्ने होइनन् । तिनीहरू एउटा दुष्‍ट कामदेखि अर्को दुष्‍ट काम गर्छन् । तिनीहरूले मलाई चिन्दैनन् ।”

And they have bent tongue their bow of their falsehood and not to faithfulness they are strong in the land for from evil to evil - they have gone out and me not they know [the] utterance of Yahweh.

4 तिमीकरू हरेक आ-आफ्नो छिमेकीदेखि होसियार बस, र आफ्नो कुनै भाइमाथि भरोसा नगर । किनकि हरेक भाइ निश्‍चय नै छली हो, र हरेक छिमेकी बदख्याइँ गर्दै हिंड्छ ।

Each from neighbor his take heed and on any brother may not you rely for every brother certainly he cheats and every neighbor a slanderer he goes about.

5 हरेक मानिसले आफ्नो छिमेकीको ठट्टा गर्छ, र साँचो बोल्दैन । तिनीहरूका जिब्राले छली कुराहरू सिकाउँछन् । तिनीहरू अपराध गर्दा-गर्दा थाकेका छन् ।

And each neighbor his they deceive and truth not they speak they have taught tongue their to speak falsehood to iniquire they are weary.

6 तेरो बासस्थान छलको बिचमा छ । आफ्‍नो छलमा तिनीहरूले मलाई इन्कार गर्छन्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Dwelling you in among deceit on deceit they have refused to know me [the] utterance of Yahweh.

7 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “मैले तिनीहरूलाई खार्न र जाँच्न लागेको छु, किनकि मेरा मानिसहरूले जे गरेका छन्, त्यसको लागि म अरू के गर्न सक्छु र?

Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts here I [am] about to refine them and I will test them for how? will I act because of [the] daughter of people my.

8 तिनीहरूका जिब्रा तिखा काँडहरू हुन् । तिनले विश्‍वास गर्न नसकिने कुराहरू बोल्छन् । आफ्ना मुखले आफ्ना छिमेकीहरूसित शान्तिको घोषणा तिनीहरूले गर्छन्, तर तिनीहरूका हृदयले चाहिं तिनीहरूलाई ढुकेर बस्छन् ।

[is] an arrow (Beaten *Q(K)*) tongue their deceit it speaks with mouth his peace with neighbor his someone speaks and in inner being his he sets ambush his.

9 के यी कुराको काणले मैले तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड नदिने? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, र के यस्तो जातिलाई म आफैले बदला नलिने त?

¿ On these [things] not will I visit them [the] utterance of Yahweh or? on a nation which [is] like this [one] not will it avenge itself self my.

10 म शोकको गीत गाउनेछु, र पहाडहरूका निम्ति विलाप गर्नेछु, र खर्कहरूका निम्ति मृत्‍यु संस्‍कारको गीत गाइनेछ । किनकि ती जलाइएका छन्, यसैले कोही पनि त्यसबाट जान सक्दैन । तिनीहरूले कुनै पनि गाईवस्तुको आवाज सुन्‍नेछैनन् । आकाशका चराहरू र पशुहरू सबै भागेर गएका छन् ।

On the mountains I will take up weeping and wailing and on [the] pastures of [the] wilderness lamentation for they are left desolate because not anyone [who] passes through and not people hear [the] sound of livestock from [the] bird[s] of the heavens and unto animal[s] they have fled they have gone.

11 त्यसैले म यरूशलेमलाई भत्केको थुप्रो, स्यालहरूको लुक्‍ने ठाउँ तुल्याउनेछु । म यहूदाका सहरहरूलाई मानिसहरू नबस्‍ने गरी उजाड तुल्याउनेछु ।”

And I will make Jerusalem into heaps of stones a habitation of jackals and [the] cities of Judah I will make a waste because not inhabitant.

12 यसलाई बुझ्न कुनचाहिं मानिस साँच्‍चै बुद्धिमानी छ? कसलाई परमप्रभुको मुखले बोल्नुभएको छ, र त्यसले यो घोषणा गर्नेछ? यो देश किन नष्‍ट पारिएको छ र उजाड-स्थानजस्तै विनाश गरिएको छ जसबाट कोही पनि जान सक्दैन?

Who? [is] the person wise and he may understand this and whom it has spoken [the] mouth of Yahweh to him so he may declare it concerning what? has it been destroyed the land has it become desolate? like wilderness because not [one who] passes by.

13 परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “मैले तिनीहरूका सामु राखेको मेरो व्यवस्थालाई तिनीहरूले त्यागेका हुनाले, तिनीहरूले मेरो आवाज सुनेर त्यसद्वारा नहिंडेका हुनाले यस्तो भएको हो ।

And he said Yahweh because have forsaken they law my which I set before them and not they have listened to voice my and not they have walked in it.

14 तिनीहरू आ-आफ्ना हठी हृदयद्वारा हिंडेका हुनाले र आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरूले सिकाएझैं गरी तिनीहरूले बाल देवताहरूको अनुसरण गरेको हुनाले यस्तो भएको हो ।

And they have walked after [the] stubbornness of own heart their and after the Baals which they taught them ancestors their.

15 त्यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “हर, मैले यो जातिलाई ऐरेलु खुवाउन र विषालु पानी पियाउन लागेको छु ।

Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts [the] God of Israel here I [am] about to feed them the people this wormwood and I will give to drink them water of poison.

16 त्यसपछि म तिनीहरूलाई जाति-जातिहरूका बिचमा तितर-बितर पार्ने छु, जसलाई न तिनीहरूले न त तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूले चिनेका छन् । मैल तिनीहरूलाई पूर्ण रूपमा नष्‍ट नपारेसम्म म तिनीहरूको पछि तरवार पठाउनेछु ।”

And I will scatter them among the nations which not they knew they and ancestors their and I will send forth after them the sword until have made an end of I them.

17 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “यस विषयमा विचार गरः मृत्‍यु संस्‍कारका गीत गाउनेहरूलाई बोलाओ । तिनीहरू आऊन् । विलाप गर्न सिपालु स्‍त्रीहरूलाई बोलाउन पठाओ । तिनीहरू आऊन् ।

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts consider and summon the wailing [women] and they may come and to the skillful [women] send so they may come.

18 तिनीहरू हतार गरून्, र हाम्रा लागि शोकको गीत गाऊन्, ताकि हाम्रा आँखाबाट आँसु बगून् र हाम्रा परेलाबाट पानी बगून् ।

And they may hasten and they may take up on us wailing so they may run down eyes our tear[s] and eyelids our they may flow water.

19 किनकि सियोनमा विलापको सोर सुनिएको छ, 'हामी कसरी तहस-नहत भएका छौं । हामी ज्यादै लज्‍जित भएका छौं । तिनीहरूले हाम्रा घरहरू भत्काएको समयदेखि नै हामीले यो देश त्‍यागेका छौं ।'

For a sound of wailing it has been heard from Zion how! we have been devastated we have been put to shame exceedingly for we have left [the] land for people have cast down dwellings our.

20 त्यसैले हे स्‍त्रीहरू हो, परमप्रभुको वचन सुन । उहाँको मुखबाट निस्कने सन्देशमा ध्यान देओ । तब आ-आफ्ना छोरीहरूलाई शोकको गीत र हरेक छिमेकी स्‍त्रीलाई मृत्‍यु संस्‍कारको गीत सिकाओ ।

For hear O women [the] word of Yahweh so it may receive ear your [the] word of mouth his and teach daughters your a mourning song and every woman neighbor her a lamentation.

21 किनकि मृत्यु हाम्रा झ्यालबाट आएको छ । यो हाम्रा राजमहलहरूमा जान्छ । यसले बाहिरका बालबालिका र सहरका चोकहरूका युवाहरूलाई नष्‍ट पार्छ ।

For it has come up death in windows our it has come in fortresses our to cut off child[ren] from [the] street young men from [the] open places.

22 यसो भन, “यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, मानिसहरूका लाशहरू खेतबारीका मलझैं र बाली काट्नेहरूले छाडेका सिलाबालाझैं छोडिनेछन्, र ति जम्मा गर्ने कोही हुनेछैन ।”

Speak thus [the] utterance of Yahweh and it will fall [the] corpse[s] of people like dung on [the] surface of the field[s] and like cut grain from behind the reaper and there not [will be one who] gathers.

23 परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “बुद्धिमान् मानिसले आफ्नो बुद्धिमा वा योद्धाले आफ्नो शक्तिमा घमण्ड गर्न नदेओ । धनी मानिसले आफ्ना धनमा घमण्ड गर्न नदेओ ।

Thus - he says Yahweh may not he boast a wise [person] in wisdom his and may not he boast the mighty [person] in might his may not he boast a rich [person] in rich[es] his.

24 किनकि कुनै मानिसले कुनै कुरामा घमण्ड गर्छ भने, त्यसले यस कुरामा गरोस् कि उसित अन्तर्दृष्‍टि छ र मलाई चिन्‍छ । किनकि म परमप्रभु हुँ जसले पृथ्वीमा करारको बफादारी, न्याय र धार्मिकतामा काम गर्छु । किनकि यिनै कुरामा म प्रसन्‍न हुन्छु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।”

That except in this let him boast who [-ever] boasts he has insight and he knows me that I [am] Yahweh [who] does covenant loyalty justice and righteousness on the earth for in these things I delight [the] utterance of Yahweh.

25 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, हेर, दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला म शरीरमा मात्र खतना भएकाहरू सबैलाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।

Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on every [man] circumcised in a foreskin.

26 म मिश्र, यहूदा, एदोम, अम्मोन, मोआब र शिरमा आफ्नो कपाल छोटो गरी काट्ने सबै मानिसलाई दण्ड दिनेछु । किनकि यी सबै जाति बेखतनाका हुन्, र इस्राएलका सबै घरानासित बेखतनको हृदय छ ।”

On Egypt and on Judah and on Edom and on [the] people of Ammon and on Moab and on all [those who] are cut off of [the] corner who dwell in the wilderness for all the nations [are] uncircumcised and all [the] house of Israel [are] uncircumcised of heart.
