यर्मिया 33
1 तब यर्मिया गारदको चोकमा थुनिएकै अवस्थामा परमप्रभुको वचन दोस्रो पटक तिनीकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
The word of Jehovah came also to Jeremiah the second time, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, and said: —
2 “बनाउनुहुने परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ— सुदृढ गर्नाका लागि परमप्रभुले रचना गर्नुहुन्छ, परमप्रभु उहाँको नाउँ हो ।
Thus saith Jehovah, who doeth it, Jehovah who disposeth it, to establish it; Jehovah is his name.
3 'मलाई पुकार्, र म तँलाई जवाफ दिनेछु । म तँलाई महान् कुराहरू, तैंले नबुझ्ने रहस्यहरू देखाउनेछु ।'
Call to me, and I will answer thee, And I will show thee great things, And hidden things which thou knowest not.
4 किनकि घेरा-मचान र तरवारको कारणले भत्काइएका यस सहरमा भएका घरहरू र यहूदाका राजाहरूका महलहरूको विषयमा परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ,
For thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, Concerning the houses of this city, And concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, Which are thrown down toward the mounds and the sword,
5 'मेरो क्रोध र मेरो रिसमा लडाइँ गर्न र मैले मार्ने मानिसहरूका लाशहरूले म ती घरहरू भरिदिन कल्दीहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला तिनीहरूका सबै दुष्टताको कारणले म यस सहरबाट आफ्नो अनुहार लुकाउनेछु ।
To fight with the Chaldaeans, And to fill them with the dead bodies of men, Whom I have smitten in mine anger and in my wrath, And for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city:
6 तर हेर्, मैले निको पार्न र हेरविचार गर्नै लागेको छु, किनकि म तिनीहरूलाई निको पार्नेछु, र तिनीहरूकहाँ प्रचुरता, शान्ति र विश्वासयोग्यता ल्याउनेछु ।
Behold, I will bind up her wounds, and heal them, And I will reveal to them abundance of peace and stability.
7 यहूदा र इस्राएलको सुदिन म फर्काउनेछु । सुरुमा जस्तै म तिनीहरूलाई निर्माण गर्नेछु ।
And I will bring back the captives of Judah, And the captives of Israel, And I will build them, as at the first.
8 तब तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा गरेका सबै अधर्मबाट म तिनीहरूलाई शुद्ध पार्नेछु । तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा गरेका सबै अधर्म र तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा चालेका सबै विद्रोहलाई म क्षमा दिनेछु ।
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, Whereby they have sinned against me; And I will forgive all their iniquities, Whereby they have sinned, And have rebelled against me.
9 किनकि यो सहर मेरो लागि आनन्दको वस्तु अनि पृथ्वीका सबै जातिका लागि प्रशंसाको गीत र सम्मान हुनेछ । मैले यसको लागि गर्ने सबै असल कुराहरू तिनीहरूले सुन्ने छन् । त्यसपछि मैले यस सहरलाई दिने सबै असल कुरा र शान्तिको कारणले तिनीहरू डराउनेछन्, र थरथर काँम्नेछन् ।'
And it [[the city]] shall be to me a name of joy, A praise and a glory among all the nations of the earth, Who shall hear of all the good which I do to them. And they shall fear and tremble because of all the good, And because of all the prosperity, which I bestow upon it.
10 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘तिमीहरूले यसो भनिरहेको यस ठाउँको विषयमा, “मानिस वा पशु नभएको यो उजाड-स्थान हो,” यहूदाका सहरहरू र न त मानिस नत पशु भएर भएर उजाड भएका यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा, त्यहाँ फेरि पनि आवाज सुनिनेछ,
Thus saith Jehovah: Yet again shall be heard in this place, Of which ye say, “It is desolate, without man and without beast,” In the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, Which are desolate, without man, Even without an inhabitant and without beast,
11 आनन्द र हर्षको सोर, दुलहा र दुलहीको सोर अनि परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा यसो भन्दै धन्यवादको बलि ल्याउनेहरूको सोर सुनिनेछ, 'सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ, किनकि परमप्रभु असल हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँको अचुक प्रेम सदासर्वदै रहिरहन्छ ।' किनकि यस देशको सुदिन पहिलेको जस्तै बनाएर पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु,’ परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, The voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, The voice of them that say, “Praise ye Jehovah of hosts, For Jehovah is good, For his mercy endureth forever!” And of them that bring an offering of praise to the house of Jehovah. For I will restore the captives of the land, As at the first, saith Jehovah.
12 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'अहिले न त मानिस न त पशु भएको यस उजाड-स्थानमा— यसका सबै सहरमा फेरि खर्कहरू हुनेछन्, जहाँ गोठालाहरूले आफ्ना बगालहरू चराउनेछन् ।
Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Yet again shall there be in this place, Which is desolate, without man and without beast, And in all the cities thereof, A habitation of shepherds, who shall cause their flocks to rest;
13 पहाडी देशका सहरहरू, तराई र नेगेव, बेन्यामीनको इलाका र सारा यरूशलेमको चारैतिर, र यहूदाका सहरहरूमा बगालहरू तिनीहरूको गोठाला गर्नेहरूका हातले गनी-गनीकन चराउनेछन्,’ परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
In the cities of the hill-country, and in the cities of the plain, And in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, And in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, Shall the flocks pass yet again Under the hands of him that numbereth them, saith Jehovah.
14 ‘हेर्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, यस्ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला मैले इस्राएलको घराना र यहूदाको घरानालाई प्रतिज्ञा गरेको कुरा पुरा गर्नेछु ।
Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, That I will perform that good thing Which I have spoken concerning the house of Israel, And concerning the house of Judah.
15 ती दिनमा र त्यस बेला म दाऊदको निम्ति एउटा धार्मिक हाँगा लिकाल्नेछु, र तिनले देशमा न्याय र धार्मिकता कायम गर्नेछन् ।
In those days and at that time Will I cause to grow up from David a righteous branch, Who shall maintain justice and equity in the land.
16 ती दिनमा यहूदा बचाइनेछ, र यरूशलेम सुरक्षामा जिउनेछ, किनकि त्यसको नाउँ यो हुनेछ, 'परमप्रभु हाम्रा धार्मिकता हुनुहुन्छ ।'
In those days shall Judah be saved, And Jerusalem shall dwell securely; And this is the name which shall be given her, Jehovah-is-our-salvation.
17 किनकि परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'इस्राएलको घरानाको सिंहासनमाथि बस्न दाऊदको वंशबाट कुनै मानिसको अभाव कदापि हुनेछैन,
For thus saith Jehovah: There shall never fail from David A man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
18 न त मेरो सामु हर समय होमबलि, अर्घबलि र अन्नबलिहरू चढाउन लेवी कुलका पुजारीहरूमा कुनै मानिसको कमी हुनेछ ।'”
Neither from the priests and the Levites Shall a man fail before me, To offer burnt-offerings, and to kindle meat-offerings, And to perform sacrifice continually.
19 परमप्रभुको वचन यर्मियाकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
And the word of Jehovah came to Jeremiah and said,
20 “परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'तिमीहरूले दिन र रातसित बाँधिएको मेरो करारलाई भङ्ग गर्न सक्यौ, र तोकिएको समयमा फेरि दिन र रात भएनन् भने,
Thus saith Jehovah: If ye can break my covenant concerning the day, And my covenant concerning the night, So that there shall no more be day and night in their season,
21 तब तिमीहरूले मेरा दास दाऊदसित बाँधिएको मेरो करारलाई भङ्ग गर्न सक्नेछौ, जसको कारणले उसको सिंहासनमा बस्न उसको कुनै छोरो हुनेछैन, र लेवी कुलका पुजारीहरू अर्थात् मेरा दासहरूसित बाँधिएको मेरो करार पनि भङ्ग हुनेछ ।
Then also may my covenant with David my servant be broken, So that he shall not have a son to reign upon his throne, And with the Levites, the priests, my servants.
22 जसरी आकाशका ताराहरू गन्न सकिंदैन, र समुद्र किनारमा बालुवा जोखिन सकिंदैन, त्यसरी नै मेरा दास दाऊद र मेरो सामु सेवा गर्ने लेवीहरूका सन्तानहरूको सङ्ख्या म बढाउनेछु' ।”
As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, Nor the sand of the sea measured, So will I multiply the posterity of David my servant, And the Levites who minister to me.
23 परमप्रभुको वचन यर्मियाकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
The word of Jehovah came also to Jeremiah, saying:
24 “के यी मानिसले भनेका कुरामा तैंले ध्यान दिएको छैनस्? तिनीहरूले भनेका छन्, 'परमप्रभुले चुन्नुभएका दुईवटा परिवारलाई उहाँले अहिले त्याग्नुभएको छ ।' यसरी तिनीहरूले मेरो मानिसलाई तिरस्कार गर्छन् । तिनीहरूका दृष्टमा उनीहरू अब फेरि कुनै एउटा जातिको रूपमा हरेनन् भन्दैछन् ।
Seest thou not what this people speaketh, saying, “The two families, which Jehovah chose, he hath cast off”? Therefore they despise my people, So that they are no more a people in their eyes.
25 म, परमप्रभु यसो भन्छु, 'मैले दिन र रातको करार स्थापित नगरेको भए, र मैले स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीका नियमहरू निधो नगरेको भए,
Thus saith Jehovah: If my covenant concerning the day and the night be not maintained, And if I have not established the ordinances of the heaven and the earth,
26 मैले याकूब र मेरा दास दाऊदका सन्तानलाई इन्कार गर्नेथिएँ, र तिनीहरूबाट अब्राहाम, इसहाक र याकूबका सन्तानमाथि राज्य गर्न एक जना व्यक्तिलाई ल्याउनेथिइनँ । किनकि म तिनीहरूको सुदिन पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु, र तिनीहरूमाथि कृपा देखाउनेछु' ।”
Then will I cast away the posterity of Jacob, and of David, my servant, So as not to take of his posterity to be rulers Over the posterity of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; For I will bring them back from their captivity, And have mercy upon them.
