यर्मिया 33

1 तब यर्मिया गारदको चोकमा थुनिएकै अवस्थामा परमप्रभुको वचन दोस्रो पटक तिनीकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,

Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,

2 “बनाउनुहुने परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ— सुदृढ गर्नाका लागि परमप्रभुले रचना गर्नुहुन्छ, परमप्रभु उहाँको नाउँ हो ।

These are the words of the Lord, who is doing it, the Lord who is forming it, to make it certain; the Lord is his name;

3 'मलाई पुकार्, र म तँलाई जवाफ दिनेछु । म तँलाई महान् कुराहरू, तैंले नबुझ्ने रहस्यहरू देखाउनेछु ।'

Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge.

4 किनकि घेरा-मचान र तरवारको कारणले भत्काइएका यस सहरमा भएका घरहरू र यहूदाका राजाहरूका महलहरूको विषयमा परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ,

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said about the houses of this town and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been broken down to make earthworks and ...;

5 'मेरो क्रोध र मेरो रिसमा लडाइँ गर्न र मैले मार्ने मानिसहरूका लाशहरूले म ती घरहरू भरिदिन कल्दीहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला तिनीहरूका सबै दुष्‍टताको कारणले म यस सहरबाट आफ्‍नो अनुहार लुकाउनेछु ।

... and to make them full of the dead bodies of men whom I have put to death in my wrath and in my passion, and because of whose evil-doing I have kept my face covered from this town.

6 तर हेर्, मैले निको पार्न र हेरविचार गर्नै लागेको छु, किनकि म तिनीहरूलाई निको पार्नेछु, र तिनीहरूकहाँ प्रचुरता, शान्ति र विश्‍वासयोग्यता ल्याउनेछु ।

See, I will make it healthy and well again, I will even make them well; I will let them see peace and good faith in full measure.

7 यहूदा र इस्राएलको सुदिन म फर्काउनेछु । सुरुमा जस्तै म तिनीहरूलाई निर्माण गर्नेछु ।

And I will let the fate of Judah and of Israel be changed, building them up as at first.

8 तब तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा गरेका सबै अधर्मबाट म तिनीहरूलाई शुद्ध पार्नेछु । तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा गरेका सबै अधर्म र तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा चालेका सबै विद्रोहलाई म क्षमा दिनेछु ।

And I will make them clean from all their sin, with which they have been sinning against me; I will have forgiveness for all their sins, with which they have been sinning against me, and with which they have done evil against me.

9 किनकि यो सहर मेरो लागि आनन्दको वस्तु अनि पृथ्वीका सबै जातिका लागि प्रशंसाको गीत र सम्मान हुनेछ । मैले यसको लागि गर्ने सबै असल कुराहरू तिनीहरूले सुन्‍ने छन् । त्यसपछि मैले यस सहरलाई दिने सबै असल कुरा र शान्तिको कारणले तिनीहरू डराउनेछन्, र थरथर काँम्‍नेछन् ।'

And this town will be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, who, hearing of all the good which I am doing for them, will be shaking with fear because of all the good and the peace which I am doing for it.

10 परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, ‘तिमीहरूले यसो भनिरहेको यस ठाउँको विषयमा, “मानिस वा पशु नभएको यो उजाड-स्थान हो,” यहूदाका सहरहरू र न त मानिस नत पशु भएर भएर उजाड भएका यरूशलेमका सडकहरूमा, त्‍यहाँ फेरि पनि आवाज सुनिनेछ,

This is what the Lord has said: There will again be sounding in this place, of which you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast; even in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem which are waste and unpeopled, without man and without beast,

11 आनन्द र हर्षको सोर, दुलहा र दुलहीको सोर अनि परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा यसो भन्दै धन्यवादको बलि ल्याउनेहरूको सोर सुनिनेछ, 'सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुलाई धन्यवाद चढाओ, किनकि परमप्रभु असल हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँको अचुक प्रेम सदासर्वदै रहिरहन्छ ।' किनकि यस देशको सुदिन पहिलेको जस्तै बनाएर पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु,’ परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ ।

Happy sounds, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who say, Give praise to the Lord of armies, for the Lord is good, for his mercy is unchanging for ever: the voices of those who go with praise into the house of the Lord. For I will let the land come back to its first condition, says the Lord.

12 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, 'अहिले न त मानिस न त पशु भएको यस उजाड-स्थानमा— यसका सबै सहरमा फेरि खर्कहरू हुनेछन्, जहाँ गोठालाहरूले आफ्ना बगालहरू चराउनेछन् ।

This is what the Lord of armies has said: Again there will be in this place, which is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its towns, a resting-place where the keepers of sheep will make their flocks take rest.

13 पहाडी देशका सहरहरू, तराई र नेगेव, बेन्यामीनको इलाका र सारा यरूशलेमको चारैतिर, र यहूदाका सहरहरूमा बगालहरू तिनीहरूको गोठाला गर्नेहरूका हातले गनी-गनीकन चराउनेछन्,’ परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ ।

In the towns of the hill-country, in the towns of the lowland, and in the towns of the South and in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, the flocks will again go under the hand of him who is numbering them, says the Lord.

14 ‘हेर्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, यस्‍ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला मैले इस्राएलको घराना र यहूदाको घरानालाई प्रतिज्ञा गरेको कुरा पुरा गर्नेछु ।

See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give effect to the good word which I have said about the people of Israel and the people of Judah.

15 ती दिनमा र त्यस बेला म दाऊदको निम्ति एउटा धार्मिक हाँगा लिकाल्‍नेछु, र तिनले देशमा न्याय र धार्मिकता कायम गर्नेछन् ।

In those days and at that time, I will let a Branch of righteousness come up for David; and he will be a judge in righteousness in the land.

16 ती दिनमा यहूदा बचाइनेछ, र यरूशलेम सुरक्षामा जिउनेछ, किनकि त्‍यसको नाउँ यो हुनेछ, 'परमप्रभु हाम्रा धार्मिकता हुनुहुन्छ ।'

In those days, Judah will have salvation and Jerusalem will be safe: and this is the name which will be given to her: The Lord is our righteousness.

17 किनकि परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, 'इस्राएलको घरानाको सिंहासनमाथि बस्‍न दाऊदको वंशबाट कुनै मानिसको अभाव कदापि हुनेछैन,

For the Lord has said, David will never be without a man to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of Israel;

18 न त मेरो सामु हर समय होमबलि, अर्घबलि र अन्‍नबलिहरू चढाउन लेवी कुलका पुजारीहरूमा कुनै मानिसको कमी हुनेछ ।'”

And the priests and the Levites will never be without a man to come before me, offering burned offerings and perfumes and meal offerings and offerings of beasts at all times.

19 परमप्रभुको वचन यर्मियाकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

20 “परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, 'तिमीहरूले दिन र रातसित बाँधिएको मेरो करारलाई भङ्ग गर्न सक्यौ, र तोकिएको समयमा फेरि दिन र रात भएनन् भने,

The Lord has said: If it is possible for my agreement of the day and the night to be broken, so that day and night no longer come at their fixed times,

21 तब तिमीहरूले मेरा दास दाऊदसित बाँधिएको मेरो करारलाई भङ्ग गर्न सक्‍नेछौ, जसको कारणले उसको सिंहासनमा बस्‍न उसको कुनै छोरो हुनेछैन, र लेवी कुलका पुजारीहरू अर्थात् मेरा दासहरूसित बाँधिएको मेरो करार पनि भङ्ग हुनेछ ।

Then my agreement with my servant David may be broken, so that he no longer has a son to take his place on the seat of the kingdom; and my agreement with the Levites, the priests, my servants.

22 जसरी आकाशका ताराहरू गन्‍न सकिंदैन, र समुद्र किनारमा बालुवा जोखिन सकिंदैन, त्यसरी नै मेरा दास दाऊद र मेरो सामु सेवा गर्ने लेवीहरूका सन्तानहरूको सङ्ख्या म बढाउनेछु' ।”

As it is not possible for the army of heaven to be numbered, or the sand of the sea measured, so will I make the seed of my servant David, and the Levites my servants.

23 परमप्रभुको वचन यर्मियाकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

24 “के यी मानिसले भनेका कुरामा तैंले ध्यान दिएको छैनस्? तिनीहरूले भनेका छन्, 'परमप्रभुले चुन्‍नुभएका दुईवटा परिवारलाई उहाँले अहिले त्याग्‍नुभएको छ ।' यसरी तिनीहरूले मेरो मानिसलाई तिरस्कार गर्छन् । तिनीहरूका दृष्‍टमा उनीहरू अब फेरि कुनै एउटा जातिको रूपमा हरेनन् भन्दैछन् ।

Have you taken note of what these people have said, The two families, which the Lord took for himself, he has given up? This they say, looking down on my people as being, in their eyes, no longer a nation.

25 म, परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍छु, 'मैले दिन र रातको करार स्थापित नगरेको भए, र मैले स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीका नियमहरू निधो नगरेको भए,

The Lord has said, If I have not made day and night, and if the limits of heaven and earth have not been fixed by me,

26 मैले याकूब र मेरा दास दाऊदका सन्तानलाई इन्कार गर्नेथिएँ, र तिनीहरूबाट अब्राहाम, इसहाक र याकूबका सन्तानमाथि राज्‍य गर्न एक जना व्यक्तिलाई ल्याउनेथिइनँ । किनकि म तिनीहरूको सुदिन पुनर्स्थापित गर्नेछु, र तिनीहरूमाथि कृपा देखाउनेछु' ।”

Then I will give up caring for the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will let their fate be changed and will have mercy on them.
