यर्मिया 31
1 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “त्यस बेला म इस्राएलका सबै वंशको परमेश्वर हुनेछु, र तिनीहरू मेरा मानिसहरू हुनेछन् ।”
At the same time, saith the Lord, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
2 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “तरवारबाट बाँचेका मानिसहरूले उजाड-स्थानमा निगाह प्राप्त गरेका छन् । इस्राएललाई विश्राम दिन म बाहिर निस्कनेछु ।”
Thus saith the Lord, The people which escaped the sworde, founde grace in the wildernes: he walked before Israel to cause him to rest.
3 विगतमा परमप्रभु मकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “ए इस्राएल, मैले तँलाई अनन्त प्रेमले प्रेम गरेको छु । त्यसैले मैले तँलाई करारको विश्वसनीयताले मतिर खिँचेको छु ।
The Lord hath appeared vnto me of old, say they: Yea, I haue loued thee with an euerlasting loue, therefore with mercie I haue drawen thee.
4 ए कन्या इस्राएल, म तँलाई फेरि निर्माण गर्नेछु, यसरी तँ निर्माण हुनेछस् । तैंले फेरि आफ्ना खैँजडीहरू लिनेछस् र खुसीको नाचसहित बाहर निस्कनेछस् ।
Againe I will builde thee, and thou shalt be builded, O virgine Israel: thou shalt stil be adorned with thy timbrels, and shalt goe foorth in the dance of them that be ioyfull.
5 सामरियाका पहाडहरूमा तैंले फेरि दाखबारीहरू लगाउनेछस् । किसानहरूले रोप्नेछन्, र फललाई असलको उद्धेश्यको लागि प्रयोग गर्नेछन् ।
Thou shalt yet plant vines vpon the mountaines of Samaria, and the planters that plant them, shall make them common.
6 किनकि एक दिन आउनेछ, जुन बेला एफ्राइमका पहाडहरूका पहरेदारहरूले घोषणा गर्नेछन्, 'उठ, हामी परमप्रभु हाम्रा परमेश्वरकहाँ सियोनमा जाऔं' ।”
For the dayes shall come that the watchmen vpon the mount of Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let vs go vp vnto Zion to the Lord our God.
7 किनकि परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “याकूबको निम्ति आनन्दले कराओ । जातिहरूका मानिसहरूका प्रमुखको लागि खुसीले चिच्च्याओ । प्रशंसा सुनियोस् । यसो भन, 'परमप्रभुले आफ्ना जाति, इस्राएलका बाँकी रहेकाहरूलाई उद्धार गर्नुभएको छ ।'
For thus saith the Lord, Reioyce with gladnesse for Iaakob, and shoute for ioye among the chiefe of the Gentiles: publish praise, and say, O Lord, saue thy people, the remnant of Israel.
8 हेर, मैले तिनीहरूलाई उत्तरी देशहरूबाट फर्काएर ल्याउनै लागेको छु । म तिनीहरूलाई पृथ्वीका पल्ला छेउहरूबाट जम्मा गर्नेछु । तिनीहरूका बिचमा दृष्टिविहीन र लङ्गडाहरू हुनेछन् । गर्भवती स्त्रीहरू र बच्चा जन्माउनै लागेकाहरू तिनीहरूसितै हुनेछन् । एउटा ठुलो समुदाय यहाँ फर्कनेछ ।
Beholde, I will bring them from the North countrey, and gather them from the coastes of the world, with the blinde and the lame among them, with the woman with childe, and her that is deliuered also: a great companie shall returne hither.
9 तिनीहरू रुँदै आउनेछन् । तिनीहरूले आ-आफ्ना बिन्ती बिसाउँदा म तिनीहरूलाई अगुवाइ गर्नेछु । म तिनीहरूलाई सिधा मार्गमा पानीका खोलाहरूबाट यात्रा गराउनेछु । तिनीहरू यसमा ठोकिनेछैनन्, किनकि म इस्राएलको पिता हुनेछु, र एफ्राइम मेरो जेठो छोरा हुनेछ ।”
They shall come weeping, and with mercie will I bring them againe: I will lead them by the riuers of water in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my first borne.
10 “हे जातिहरू हो, परमप्रभुको वचन सुन । टाढाका समुद्रतटका देशहरूलाई घोषणा गर, जतिहरूले यसो भन्नुपर्छ, 'इस्राएललाई तितर-बितर पार्नुहुनेले तिनीहरूलाई जम्मा गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ र गोठालोलो आफ्ना भेडाहरूलाई रक्षा गरेझैं रक्षा गर्दै हुनुहुन्छ ।'
Heare the worde of the Lord, O ye Gentiles, and declare in the yles afarre off, and say, Hee that scattered Israel, wil gather him and wil keepe him, as a shepheard doeth his flocke.
11 किनकि परमप्रभुले याकूबलाई मोल तिरेर छुटाउनुभएको छ, र उसको भन्दा धेरै शक्तिशाली हातबाट उसलाई छुटकारा दिनुभएको छ ।
For the Lord hath redeemed Iaakob, and ransomed him from the hande of him, that was stronger then he.
12 तब तिनीहरू आउनेछन् र सियोनका पर्वतहरूमा रमाउनेछन् । मकै र नयाँ दाखमद्य, तेल र गाईवस्तुका बाछाहरू भेडा-बाख्राका पाठाहरूमाथि परमप्रभुको भलाइको कारणले, तिनीहरूका मुहार चम्कनेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरूको जीवन पानीले भिजेको बगैँचाजस्तै हुनेछ, र तिनीहरूले फेरि कहिल्यै दुःखको महसुस गर्नेछैनन् ।
Therefore they shall come, and reioyce in the height of Zion, and shall runne to the bountifulnes of the Lord, euen for the wheat and for the wine, and for the oyle, and for the increase of sheepe, and bullocks: and their soule shalbe as a watered garden, and they shall haue no more sorow.
13 तब कन्याहरू नाच्दै रमाउनेछन्, र युवा अनि पाकाहरू एकै ठाउँमा आउनेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरूको शोकलाई म उत्सवमा परिणत गर्नेछु । म तिनीहरूमाथि दया देखाउनेछु, र शोक गर्नुको साटो आनन्द मनाउन लगाउनेछु ।
Then shall ye virgine reioyce in the dance, and the yong men and the old men together: for I wil turne their mourning into ioy, and wil comfort them, and giue them ioy for their sorowes.
14 तब पुजारीहरूका जीवनलाई म प्रशस्त मात्रामा परिपूर्ण पार्नेछु । मेरा मानिसहरू मेरो भलाइले भरिनेछ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।”
And I wil replenish the soule of the Priests with fatnesse, and my people shalbe satisfied with my goodnesse, saith the Lord.
15 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “रामामा विलाप गरेको र धुरुधुरु रोएको एउटा सोर सुनिएको छ । राहेल आफ्ना सन्तानका लागि रुँदैछे । त्यसले सान्त्वना पाउनलाई इन्कार गरेकी छे, किनकि तिनीहरू अब फेरि जीवित छैनन् ।”
Thus saith the Lord, A voyce was heard on hie, a mourning and bitter weeping. Rahel weeping for her children, refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
16 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “रुनदेखि आफ्नो सोर रोक, र आँखाबाट आँसु नखसाल । तिमीहरूको कामको लागि एउटा इनमा छ, यो परमप्रभुको हो, तिमीहरूका छोराछोरी शत्रुको देशबाट फर्कनेछन् ।
Thus saith the Lord, Refraine thy voyce from weeping, and thine eyes from teares: for thy worke shalbe rewarded, saith the Lord, and they shall come againe from the land of the enemie:
17 तिमीहरूको भविष्यको लागि आशा छ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, तिमीहरूका सन्तानहरू तिमीहरूका सिमानाहरूभित्र फर्कनेछन् ।”
And there is hope in thine ende, saith the Lord, that thy children shall come againe to their owne borders.
18 “निश्चय नै मैले एफ्राइमको शोक गरेको सुनेको छु, 'तपाईंले मलाई दण्ड दिनुभयो, र एउटा नदाएको बाछालाई झैं मलाई दण्ड दिइएको छ । मलाई फर्काएर ल्याउनुहोस्, र म फर्काइनेछु, किनकि तपाईं परमप्रभु मेरा परमेश्वर हुनुहुन्छ ।
I haue heard Ephraim lamenting thus, Thou hast corrected me, and I was chastised as an vntamed calfe: conuert thou me, and I shalbe conuerted: for thou art the Lord my God.
19 किनकि म तपाईंकहाँ फर्केपछि म दुःखित भएँ । मलाई तालिम दिइएपछि मैले आफ्नो तिघ्रामा हिर्काएँ । म लज्जित र अपमानित भएँ, किनकि मैले आफ्नो युवावस्थाको दोष बोकेको छु ।'
Surely after that I conuerted, I repented: and after that I was instructed, I smote vpon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, euen confounded, because I did beare the reproch of my youth.
20 के एफ्राइम मेरो बहुमूल्य बालक होइन र? के त्यो मेरो प्रिय, आनन्दित छोरो होइन र? किनकि मैले जहिलेसुकै त्यसको विरुद्धमा बोल्दा, म निश्चय नै त्यसलाई मेरो प्रेमिलो हृदयमा सम्झन्छु । यसरी मेरो हृदय त्यसको लागि लालायित हुन्छ । म निश्चय नै त्यसमाथि दया देखाउने छु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।”
Is Ephraim my deare sonne or pleasant childe? yet since I spake vnto him, I still remembred him: therefore my bowels are troubled for him: I wil surely haue compassion vpon him, saith the Lord.
21 “आफ्ना लागि बाटो देखाउने सङ्केतहरू राख् । आफ्ना लागि खम्बाहरू खडा गर् । तेरो मन तँ हिंड्नुपर्ने ठिक मार्गमा लगा । ए कन्या इस्राएल, फर्केर आइज । तेरा यी सहरहरूमा फर्केर आइज ।
Set thee vp signes: make thee heapes: set thine heart towarde the path and way, that thou hast walked: turne againe, O virgine of Israel: turne againe to these thy cities.
22 ए विश्वासघाती छोरी, तँ कहिलेसम्म यताउता गरिबस्छेस्? किनकि परमप्रभुले पृथ्वीमा केही नयाँ कुरो सृजनुभएको छ अर्थात् एक जना स्त्रीले एक जना बलियो पुरुषलाई घेर्छे ।”
How long wilt thou goe astray, O thou rebellious daughter? for the Lord hath created a newe thing in the earth: A WOMAN shall compasse a man.
23 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “मैले यस जातिलाई तिनीहरूको देशमा फर्काएर ल्याउँदा तिनीहरूले यहूदा र यसका सहरहरूमा यसो भन्नेछन्, 'उहाँ बस्नुहुने ए धर्मी बासस्थान्, ए पवित्र पर्वत, परमप्रभुले तँलाई आशिष् देऊन् ।'
Thus saith the Lord of hostes, the God of Israel, Yet shall they say this thing in the land of Iudah, and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring againe their captiuitie, The Lord blesse thee, O habitation of iustice and holy mountaine.
24 किनकि किसानहरू र आफ्ना बगालहरूसित घुम्ने गोठालाहरूझैं यहूदा र यसका सहरहरू सँगसँगै त्यहाँ बस्नेछन् ।
And Iudah shall dwell in it, and all the cities thereof together, the husbandmen and they that goe foorth with the flocke.
25 किनकि थाकेकाहरूलाई म पिउन लयाउनेछु, र मूर्छा खाएकाहरूलाई म सन्तुष्ट पार्नेछु ।”
For I haue saciate the wearie soule, and I haue replenished euery sorowfull soule.
26 यसपछि म ब्युँझेँ, र मेरा भेडाहरू ताजा हुँदै गरेको मैले थाहा पाएँ ।
Therefore I awaked and behelde, and my sleepe was sweete vnto me.
27 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “हेर्, यस्ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जुन बेला इस्राएल र यहूदाका घरानाहरूलाई मान्छे र पशुका सन्तानहरूले म रोप्नेछु ।
Beholde, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will sowe the house of Israel, and the house of Iudah with the seede of man and with the seede of beast.
28 विगतमा मैले तिनीहरूलाई जरैदेखि उखेल्न, लछार्न, नष्ट पार्न र हानि गर्न तिनीहरूलाई मेरो निगरानीमा राखेँ । तर आउने दिनहरूमा, तिनीहरूलाई निर्माण गर्न र तिनीहरूलाई रोप्न, म तिनीहरूको रेखदेख गर्नेछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।”
And like as I haue watched vpon them, to plucke vp and to roote out, and to throw downe, and to destroy, and to plague them, so wil I watch ouer them, to build and to plant them, saith ye Lord.
29 “ती दिनमा कसैले पनि यसो भन्नेछैन, 'अमिलो अङ्गुर खानेचाहिं बुबा, तर दाँत कुँडिनेचाहिं छोराछोरीको!'
In those dayes shall they say no more, The fathers haue eaten a sowre grape, and the childrens teeth are set on edge.
30 किनकि हरेक मानिस आफ्नै अधर्ममा मर्नेछ । जसले अमिलो अङ्गुर खान्छ, त्यसकै दाँत कुँडिनेछ ।
But euery one shall die for his owne iniquitie: euery man that eateth the sowre grape, his teeth shalbe set on edge.
31 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, हेर्, यस्ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जुना बेला म इस्राएल र यहूदाका घरानासित एउटा नयाँ करार स्थापित गर्नेछु ।
Beholde, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new couenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Iudah,
32 मैले तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूसित बाँधेको करारजस्तो यो हुनेछैन, जब मैले तिनीहरूलाई तिनीहरूका हात समातेर मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर ल्याएँ, किनकि तिनीहरूले मेरो करार भङ्ग गरे तापनि म तिनीहरूका पति भएँ, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
Not according to ye couenant that I made with their fathers, when I tooke them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, the which my couenant they brake, although I was an husband vnto them, saith the Lord.
33 इस्राएलको घरानासित मैले बाँध्ने करार यही हो, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । यी दिनपछि म आफ्नो व्यवस्था तिनीहरूभित्र हाल्नेछु, र तिनीहरूका हृदयमा यो लेख्नेछु, किनकि म तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुनेछु, र तिनीहरू मेरा मानिसहरू हुनेछन् ।
But this shall be the couenant that I will make with the house of Israel, After those dayes, saith the Lord, I will put my Lawe in their inward partes, and write it in their hearts, and wil be their God, and they shalbe my people.
34 तब हरेक मानिसले फेरि आफ्नो छिमेकी वा हरेक मानिसले आफ्नो भाइलाई यसो भनेर सिकाउने छैन, 'परमप्रभुलाई चिन ।' किनकि सानादेखि ठुलासम्म तिनीहरू सबैले मलाई चिन्नेछन्, यो यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । किनकि म तिनीहरूको अधर्म क्षमा दिनेछु, र फेरि तिनीहरूका पाप सम्झनेछैनँ ।”
And they shall teach no more euery man his neighbour and euery man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me from the least of them vnto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I wil forgiue their iniquitie, and will remember their sinnes no more.
35 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “दिनमा प्रकाश दिन सूर्य र रातमा प्रकाश दिन चन्द्रमा र ताराहरूलाई उहाँले नै निधो गर्नुहुन्छ । समुद्रका छाल गर्जनलाई उहाँले नै यसलाई गतिवान् बनाउनुहुन्छ । सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु उहाँको नाउँ हो ।”
Thus saith the Lord, which giueth the sunne for a light to the day, and the courses of the moone and of the starres for a light to the night, which breaketh the sea, when the waues thereof roare: his Name is the Lord of hostes.
36 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “यी स्थायी थोकहरू मेरो दृष्टिबाट गायब भए भने मात्रै, इस्राएलका सन्तानहरू मेरो सामु सदा एउटा जाति हुनबाट खतम हुनेछ ।”
If these ordinances depart out of my sight, saith the Lord, then shall the seede of Israel cease from being a nation before me, for euer.
37 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “उच्चतम आकाशलाई नाप्न सकियो भने, अनि मुनि पृथ्वीको जगलाई पत्ता लगाउन सकियो भने मात्र, इस्राएलका सबै सन्तानले गरेका कुराको कारणले, म तिनीहरूलाई इन्कार गर्नेछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।”
Thus saith the Lord, If the heauens can be measured, or the fundations of the earth be searched out beneath, then wil I cast off all the seed of Israel, for all that they haue done, saith the Lord.
38 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “हेर्, यस्ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जुन बेला यो सहर हननेलको धरहरादेखि कुने-ढोकसम्मै पुनर्निर्माण गरिनेछ ।
Behold, the dayes come, saith the Lord, that the citie shalbe built to the Lord from the tower of Hananeel, vnto the gate of the corner.
39 तब नाप्ने डोरी फेरि अझै टाढा गारेब डाँडासम्म अनि घुमेर गोआसम्म जानेछ ।
And the line of the measure shall go foorth in his presence vpon the hil Gareb, and shall compasse about to Goath.
40 लाशहरू र खरानीको सारा उपत्यका अनि पूर्वतिर किद्रोन खोल्सासम्मका सबै खेत अश्व ढोकाको कुनासम्मको भाग परमप्रभुको निम्ति अलग गरिनेछ । त्यो सहर सदाको निम्ति फेरि कहिल्यै उखेलिने, वा भत्काइने छैन ।”
And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields vnto the brooke of Kidron, and vnto the corner of the horsegate toward the East, shalbe holy vnto the Lord, neither shall it be plucked vp nor destroyed any more for euer.
