यर्मिया 27

1 यहूदाका राजा योशियाहका छोरा सिदकियाहको शासनकालको सुरुमा परमप्रभुको यो वचन यर्मियाकहाँ आयो ।

In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,

2 परमप्रभुले मलाई यसो भन्‍नुभयो, “आफ्नो निम्ति डोरीहरू र एउटा जुवा बना । ती तेरो घाँटीमा बाँध् ।

Thus says Jehovah to me: Make thee bonds and bars, and put them upon thy neck.

3 तब तिनलाई एदोमका राजा, मोआबका राजा, अम्मोनका मानिसहरूका राजा, टुरोसका राजा र सीदोनका राजाकहाँ पठा । यहूदाका राजा सिदकियाहकहाँ यरूशलेममा आउने ती राजाहरूका दूतहरूको हातद्वारा ती पठा ।

And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the sons of Ammon, and to the king of Tyre, and to the king of Sidon, by the hand of the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.

4 तिनीहरूका मालिकहरूका लागि तिनीहरूलाई आज्ञा दे र यसो भन्, 'सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छः तिमीहरूले आ-आफ्ना मालिकहरूलाई यसो भन्‍नुपर्छ,

And give them a charge to their masters, saying, Thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Thus ye shall say to your masters:

5 'मेरो महाशक्ति र पसारिएको पाखुराद्वारा म आफैले पृथ्वी बनाएँ । मैले पृथ्वीका मानिसहरू र जनावरहरू पनि बनाएँ, र मेरो दृष्‍टिमा ठिक लागेको जोकसैलाई म यो सुम्पिदिन्छु ।

I have made the earth, the men and the beasts that are upon the face of the earth, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and I give it to whom it seems right to me.

6 त्यसैले अब म आफैले यी सबै देश मेरो दास, बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरको हातमा दिंदैछु । साथै, त्यसको सेवा गर्नलाई जमिनका जीवित प्राणीहरू पनि म त्यसलाई दिंदैछु ।

And now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant. And the beasts of the field I have also given him to serve him.

7 किनकि उसको देशको निम्‍ति समय नआएसम्म सबै जातिले ऊ, उसको छोरो र उसको नातिको सेवा गर्नेछन् । त्यसपछि धेरै जातिहरू र महान् राजाहरूले त्यसलाई अधीन गर्नेछन् ।

And all the nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the time of his own land comes. And then many nations and great kings shall make him their bondman.

8 त्‍यसैले बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरको सेवा नगर्ने जाति वा राज्य र बेबिलोनका राजाको जुवामुनि आफ्नो काँध थाप्‍न नमान्‍ने जोकसैलाई उसको हातद्वारा त्‍यो नष्‍ट नहुञ्जेल म तरवार, अनिकाल र विपत्तिले दण्ड दिनेछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

And it shall come to pass, that the nation and the kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation I will punish, says Jehovah, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

9 त्यसैले 'बेबिलोनका राजाको सेवा नगर्नू' भनेर तिमीहरूसँग बोलिरहने तिमीहरूका अगमवक्ताहरू, जोखना हेर्नेहरू, सपनाको अर्थ खोल्नेहरू, भूतप्रेत खेलाउनेहरू र जादुगरी गर्नेहरूको कुरा नसुन्‍नू ।

But as for you, hearken ye not to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreams, nor to your soothsayers, nor to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon.

10 तिमीहरूलाई आफ्नो देशबाट टाढा पठाउन भनेर तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई झूटा कुराको अगमवाणी बोल्दैछन्, किनकि म तिमीहरूलाई धपाउनेछु, र तिमीहरू मर्नेछौ ।

For they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, and that I should drive you out, and ye should perish.

11 तर बेबिलोनका राजाको जुवामुनि आफ्नो काँध थाप्‍ने र उसको सेवा गर्ने जातिलाई चाहिं आफ्‍नै देशमा विश्राम गर्न म दिनेछु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, र तिनीहरूले त्‍यसको खनजोत गर्नेछन्, र त्‍यहाँ आफ्ना घरहरू बनाउनेछन्' ।”

But the nation that shall bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, that nation I will let remain in their own land, says Jehovah, and they shall till it, and dwell therein.

12 त्यसैले यहूदाका राजा सिदकियाहसित मैले बोलें र तिनलाई यो सन्देश दिएँ, “आफ्‍नो काँधमा बेबिलोनका राजाको जुवा थाप र ऊ र उसका मानिसहरूको सेवा गर, अनि तिमी बाँच्नेछौ ।

And I spoke to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.

13 तिमी किन मर्ने—तिमी र तिम्रा मानिसहरू तरवार, अनिकाल र विपत्तिले किन मर्ने, जसरी बेबिलोनका राजाको सेवा गर्न इन्कार गर्ने जातिको विषयमा मैले घोषणा गरेको छु?

Why will ye die, thou and thy people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as Jehovah has spoken concerning the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?

14 ती अगमवक्ताहरूको वचन नसुन जसले तिमीसित बोल्‍छन् र यसो भन्‍छन्, 'बेबिलोनका राजाको सेवा नगर,' किनकि तिनीहरूले तिमीलाई झूटो कुराको अगमवाणी बोल्दैछन् ।

And hearken not to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon, for they prophesy a lie to you.

15 ‘किनकि यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, मैले तिनीहरूलाई पठाएको छैनँ, किनकि तिनीहरूले मेरो नाउँमा झूटा कुरो अगमवाणी बोल्दैछन् जसको कारणले म तँलाई धपाउनेछु, अनि तिमी र तिम्रो निम्‍ति अगमवाणी बोलिरहने अगमवक्ताहरू दुवै मर्नेछौ' ।”

For I have not sent them, says Jehovah, but they prophesy falsely in my name, that I may drive you out, and that ye may perish, ye, and the prophets who prophesy to you.

16 मैले पुजारीहरू र सबै मानिसहरूलाई यो कुरा घोषणा गरें र यसो भनें, “परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छः तिमीहरूका अगमवक्ताहरूको वचन नसुन जसले तिमीहरूका निम्‍ति अगमवाणी बोल्छन् र यसो भन्‍छन्, 'हेर, परमप्रभुको मन्दिरका सामानहरू अहिले बेबिलोनबाट फर्काइँदैछन् ।' तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई झूटो कुरा अगमवाणी बोल्दै छन् ।

Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says Jehovah: Hearken not to the words of your prophets who prophesy to you, saying, Behold, the vessels of Jehovah's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon, for they prophesy a lie to you.

17 तिनीहरूको कुरा नसुन्‍नू । तिमीहरूले बेबिलोनका राजाको सेवा गर्नुपर्छ र बाँच्नुपर्छ । यो सहर किन भग्‍नावशेष हुने?

Hearken not to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and live. Why should this city become a desolation?

18 तिनीहरू अगमवक्ताहरू हुन्, र परमप्रभुको वचन तिनीहरूकहाँ साँच्‍चै आएको हो भने, यस मन्दिर, यहूदाका राजाको महल र यरूशलेमका सामानहरू बेबिलोनमा नलान भनेर तिनीहरूले सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुलाई बिन्ती चढाऊन् ।

But if they are prophets, and if the word of Jehovah is with them, let them now make intercession to Jehovah of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, not go to Babylon.

19 स्तम्भहरू, 'खँड्कुलो' भनेर चिनिने विशाल बाटा र यसको आधार अनि यस सहरमा बाँकी रहेका सामानहरूका बबारेमा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ—

For thus says Jehovah of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the stands, and concerning the residue of the vessels that are left in this city,

20 अर्थात् बेबिलोनका राजा नबूकदनेसरले यहूदाका राजा यहोयाकीमका छोरा यहोयाकीनका साथमा यहूदा र यरूशलेका सबै कुलीनहरूलाई यरूशलेमबाट कैद गरेर बेबिलोनमा लैजाँदा तिनले नलगेका समानहरू ।

which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon did not take when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem.

21 परमप्रभुको मन्दिर, यहूदाका राजाको महल र यरूशलेममा बाँकी रहेका सामानहरूका विषयमा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ,

Yea, thus says Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem:

22 'ती बेबिलोनमा लगिनेछन्, र ती फर्काइने दिन नआएसम्म ती त्यहीँ नै रहनेछन्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो । त्यसपछि म तिनलाई ल्याउनेछु, र तिनलाई यस ठाउँमा पुनर्स्थापित गराउनेछु' ।”

They shall be carried to Babylon, and there they shall be until the day that I visit them, says Jehovah. Then I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.
