यर्मिया 23

1 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “मेरो खर्कका भेडाहरूलाई नष्‍ट गर्ने र छरपष्‍ट पार्ने गोठालाहरूलाई धिक्‍कार!”

Woe to! [the] shepherds [who] are causing to stray and [who are] scattering [the] flock of pasture my [the] utterance of Yahweh.

2 त्यसकारण आफ्‍ना मानिसका रेखदेख गर्ने गोठालाहरूको विषयमा परमप्रभु इस्राएलका परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूले मेरो बगाललाई छरपष्‍ट पारेका छौ, र तिनीहरूलाई धपाइदिएका छौ । तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूको वास्ता गरेका छैनौ । त्‍यसैले तिमीहरूले गरेका दुष्‍ट्याइँको लागि मैले तिमीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनै लागेको छु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on the shepherds who are shepherding people my you you have scattered flock my and you have driven away them and not you have paid attention to them here I [am] about to visit on you [the] wickedness of deeds your [the] utterance of Yahweh.

3 मेरो बगालका वचेकाहरूलाई मैले तिनीहरूलाई धपाएका सबै देशबाट म आफै जम्मा गर्नेछु, र म तिनीहरूलाई एउटा खर्कमा फर्काउनेछु, जहाँ तिनीहरू फलवन्त हुनेछन् र बढ्नेछन् ।

And I I will gather together [the] remnant of flock my from all the lands where I have banished them there and I will bring back them to pasture their and they will be fruitful and they will increase.

4 त्‍यसपछि म तिनीहरूको रेखदेख गर्ने गोठालाहरू खडा गर्नेछु जसले तिनीहरूलाई गोठाला गर्नेछन्, यसरी तिनीहरू फेरि डराउने वा छरपष्‍ट हुनेछैनन् । तिनीहरूमध्ये कोही पनि हराउनेछैनन्, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

And I will raise up over them shepherds and they will shepherd them and not they will be afraid again and not they will be terrified and not they will be missing [the] utterance of Yahweh.

5 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, हेर्, यस्‍ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला म दाऊदको लागि एउटा धार्मिक हाँगा खडा गर्नेछु । उसले राजाको रूपमा राज्य गर्नेछ । तिनले बुद्धिमानीपूर्वक काम गर्नेछ, र देशमा न्याय र धार्मिकता कायम राख्‍नेछ ।

Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will raise up for David a branch righteous and he will reign a king and he will act prudently and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.

6 उसको दिनमा यहूदा यहूदा बचाइनेछ, र इस्राएल सुरक्षितसाथ जिउनेछ । तब यो नाउँले उसलाई बोलाइनेछः परमप्रभु हाम्रो धार्मिकता हुनुहुन्छ ।

In days his it will be saved Judah and Israel it will dwell to security and this [will be] name his which anyone will call him Yahweh - [is] righteousness our.

7 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, यसकारण हेर्, यस्‍ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, जति बेला तिनीहरूले फेरि यसो भन्‍ने छैनन्, 'इस्राएलका मानिसहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट ल्याउनुहुने जीवित परमप्रभुको नाउँमा ।'

Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not people will say again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.

8 त्‍यसको सटोमा, तिनीहरूले यसो भन्‍नेछन्, 'इस्राएलको घरानाका सन्तानहरूलाई उत्तर देश र जहाँ तिनीहरू धपाइए, ती सबै देशबाट निकालेर ल्याउनुहुने जीवित परमप्रभुको नाउँमा ।' तब तिनीहरूका आफ्नै देशमा तिनीहरू बस्‍नेछन् ।

That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up and who he brought [the] offspring of [the] house of Israel from a land north-ward and from all the lands where I banished them there and they will dwell on own land their.

9 अगमवक्ताहरूको सम्बन्धमा मेरो हृदय टुटेको छ, र मेरा सबै हड्‍डी काम्दछन् । परमप्रभु र उहाँको पवित्र वचनको कारणले म एक जना मातेको मान्छेजस्तै भएको छु, जसलाई मदिराले नियन्त्रण गरेको हुन्‍छ ।

Of the prophets it is broken heart my in inner being my they have become weak all bones my I have become like a person drunken and like a man [whom] it has passed over him wine because of Yahweh and because of [the] words of holiness his.

10 किनकि देश व्यभिचारीहरूले भरिएको छ । यी कारणले गर्दा देश सुक्खा भएको छ । उजाड-स्थानमा भएको खर्क सुकेको छ । यी अगमवक्ताहरूका मार्गहरू दुष्‍ट छन् । तिनीहरूको शक्ति ठिक तरिकाले प्रयोग गरिएको छैन ।

For adulterers it is full the land for because of a curse it has dried up the land they have become dry [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and it has become course [of life] their evil and strength their [is] not right.

11 “अगमवक्ता र पुजारीहरू दुवै दुषित भएका छन् । मेरै मन्दिरमा पनि मैले तिनीहरूको दुष्‍टता भेट्टाएको छु,” यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो—

For both prophet as well as priest they are polluted also in house my I have found wickedness their [the] utterance of Yahweh.

12 त्यसकारण तिनीहरूको मार्ग अन्धकारमा चिप्लने ठाउँजस्तै हुनेछ । तिनीहरू धकेलिनेछन्, र तिनीहरू त्‍यसमा लोट्नेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरूको दण्डको वर्षमा म तिनीहरूको विरुद्धमा विपत्ती पठाउनेछु,” यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Therefore it will become path their for them like slippery places in the darkness they will be pushed down and they will fall on it for I will bring on them calamity [the] year of punishment their [the] utterance of Yahweh.

13 “किनकि सामरियामा भएका अगमवक्ताहरूले घृणित कार्य गरेका मैले देखेको छुः तिनीहरूले बाल देवताको नाउँमा अगमवाणी बोले, र मेरो मानिस इस्राएललाई कुमार्गतिर डोर्‍याए ।

And among [the] prophets of Samaria I saw offensiveness they prophesied by Baal and they caused to err people my Israel.

14 यरूशलेमका अगमवक्ताहरूका बिचमा मैले अति घिनलाग्दा कुराहरू देखेको छु । तिनीहरू व्यभिचार गर्छन्, र झूटो चालमा हिंड्छन् । खराब काम गर्नेहरूका हात तिनीहरूले बलियो पार्छन्, र कोही पनि आफ्नो खराबीबाट पछि हट्दैन । मेरो लागि तिनीहरू सबै सदोमझैं र यसका बासिन्दाहरू गमोराझैं भएका छन् ।”

And among [the] prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible [thing] they have committed adultery and they have walked in falsehood and they have strengthened [the] hands of evil-doers to not they have turned away anyone from evil his they have become to me all of them like Sodom and inhabitants its like Gomorrah.

15 त्यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु अगमवक्ताहरूको विषयमा यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “हेर, मैले तिनीहरूलाई ऐरेलु खुवानै लागेको छु, र विषालु पानी पियाउनै लागेको छु, किनकि यरूशलेमका अगमवक्ताहरूबाट प्रदुषण सबै देशमा फैलिएको छ ।”

Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts on the prophets here I [am] about to make eat them wormwood and I will make drink them water of poison for from with [the] prophets of Jerusalem it has gone out wicked behavior to all the land.

16 सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूलाई अगमवाणी बोल्ने अगमवक्ताहरूका वचनहरू नसुन । तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई भ्रमित तुल्याएका छन् । तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको मुखबाट नभई आफ्नै समझबाट दर्शनहरूको घोषणा गर्दै छन् ।

Thus he says Yahweh of hosts may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who are prophesying to you [are] deluding they you [the] vision of own heart their they speak not from [the] mouth of Yahweh.

17 मेरो अनादर गर्नेहरूलाई तिनीहरूले निरन्तर यसो भनिरहेका छन्, 'तिमीहरूका निम्ति शान्ति हुने छ भनी परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्‍छ ।' आफ्नै हृदयको हठमा हिंड्ने हरेक व्‍यक्‍तिले भन्छ, 'तिमीहरूमाथि विपत्ति आउनेछैन ।'

[they are] saying Continually to [those who] despise me he says Yahweh peace it will belong to you and every [one who] walks in [the] stubbornness of own heart his they have said not it will come on you calamity.

18 तापनि परमप्रभुको परिषद् सभामा को खडा भएको छ र? उहाँको वचनलाई कसले देख्‍ने र कसले सुन्‍ने गर्छ र? उहाँको वचनलाई कसले ध्यान दिने र सुन्‍ने गर्छ र?

For who? has he stood in [the] council of Yahweh so he may see and he may hear word his who? has he paid attention to (word his *Q(K)*) and has he listened?

19 हेर, परमप्रभुबाट आँधी-बेहरी आउँदैछ । उहाँको क्रोध बाहिर निस्केको छ, र तुफान वरिपरि चक्‍कर मार्दैछ । दुष्‍टहरूका शिरवरिपरि त्‍यसले चक्‍कर मार्दैछ ।

There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out and a storm whirling on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.

20 परमप्रभुको क्रोध कार्यान्वयन हुने र उहाँको हृदयका मनसायहरू पुरा हुने नभएसम्म त्‍यो थामिने छैन । आखिरी दिनमा तिमीहरूले बुझ्नेछौ ।

Not it will turn back [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it understanding.

21 यी अगमवक्ताहरूलाई मैले पठाइनँ । तिनीहरू आफै देखा परे । तिनीहरूलाई मैले कुनै कुरा पनि घोषणा गरिनँ, तर तिनीहरूले अझै पनि अगमवाणी गरेका छन् ।

Not I sent the prophets and they they ran not I spoke to them and they they prophesied.

22 किनकि तिनीहरू मेरो परिषद् सभामा खडा भए त तिनीहरूले मेरा मानिसहरूलाई मेरो वचन सुन्‍न लगाउनेथिए, तिनीहरूले उनीहरूका दुष्‍ट वचन र भ्रष्‍ट अभ्यासहरूबाट फर्कन लगाउनेथिए ।

And if they had stood in council my so they may cause to hear words my people my and they will turn back them from way their wicked and from [the] wickedness of deeds their.

23 के म नजिक मात्र रहने तर टाढा नरहने परमेश्‍वर हुँ र? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

¿ A God from near [am] I [the] utterance of Yahweh and not a God from a distance.

24 के मैले देख्‍न नसक्‍ने गरी कोही गुप्‍त ठाउँमा लुक्‍न सक्छ र? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, र के स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीलाई म ढाक्दिनँ र? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Or? will he hide himself anyone in hiding places and I not I will see him [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not the heavens and the earth [am] I filling [the] utterance of Yahweh.

25 मेरो नाउँमा छलको अगमवाणी बोलिरहेका अगमवक्ताहरूले के भनेका छन्, त्‍यो मैले सुनेको छु । तिनीहरूले भने, 'मैले एउटा सपना देखेँ! मैले एउटा सपना देखेँ!'

I have heard [that] which they have said the prophets who prophesy in name my falsehood saying I have dreamed I have dreamed.

26 अगमवक्ताहरूले आफ्नै मनबाट झूटा कुराहरूको अगमवाणी बोल्‍ने, र तिनीहरूले आफ्ना हृदयबाट छली अगमवाणी बोल्‍ने कुरा कहिलेसम्म भइरहन्‍छ?

Until when? ¿ [is] there in [the] heart of the prophets [who] prophesy falsehood and [the] prophets of [the] deceitfulness of own heart their.

27 जसरी बाल देवताको नाउँमा मेरा मानिसहरूका पुर्खाहरूले मेरो नाउँ बिर्से, त्यसरी नै तिनीहरू प्रत्‍येकले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई बताएका सपनाहरूद्वारा उनीहरूलाई मेरो नाउँ बिर्साउने योजना तिनीहरूले बनाउँदैछन् ।

Who plan to make forget people my name my by dreams their which they recount each to neighbor his just as they forgot ancestors their name my for Baal.

28 सपना देख्‍ने अगमवक्ताले, आफूले देखेको सपना बताओस् । तर जसलाई मैले कुनै कुराको घोषणा गरेको छु, त्यसले साँचो तवरले मेरो वचन घोषणा गरोस् । परालको अन्‍नसित के सरोकार छ? यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

The prophet whom [is] with him a dream let him recount [the] dream and whom word my [is] with him let him speak word my faithfulness what? [belongs] to the straw with the grain [the] utterance of Yahweh.

29 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, के मेरो वचन आगोजस्तै छैन र? चट्टानलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्ने घनजस्तै छैन र?

¿ Not thus [is] word my like fire [the] utterance of Yahweh and like a hammer [which] it shatters rock.

30 त्यसैले, हेर, अर्को व्यक्तिबाट वचन चोर्ने र मबाट आएजस्तै गरी बोल्ने अगमवक्ताहरूको विरुद्धमा म हुन्‍छु, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Therefore here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh [who] steal words my each from with neighbor his.

31 हेर, म त्‍यस्‍ता अगमवक्ताहरूको विरुद्धमा हुन्‍छु, जसले, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, भनेर घोषणा गर्न आफ्‍नो जिब्रोलाई चलाउँछन् ।

Here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh who take tongue their and they have uttered an utterance.

32 हेर, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, भनेर छलपूर्ण सपनाहरू देख्‍ने र त्‍यसपछि ती घोषणा गर्ने र यसरी आफ्‍ना छल र अहङ्कारले मेरा मानिसहरूलाई भ्रममा पार्ने अगमवक्ताहरूका विरुद्धमा म छु । म तिनीहरूको विरुद्धमा छु, किनकि मैले तिनीहरूलाई पठाएको होइन, न त तिनीहरूलाई आज्ञा दिएको छु । त्यसैले तिनीहरूले निश्‍चय नै यी मानिसलाई मदत गर्नेछैन, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Here I [am] on [those who] prophesy dreams of falsehood [the] utterance of Yahweh and they have recounted them and they caused to err people my by falsehoods their and by recklessness their and I not I sent them and not I appointed them and certainly not they benefit the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh.

33 यी मानिसहरू, वा अगमवक्ता वा पुजारीले तँलाई 'परमप्रभुको बोझ के हो?' भनी सोधे भने तैंले तिनीहरूलाई भन्‍नेछस्, 'तिमीहरू नै बोझ हौ, र म तिमीहरूलाई निष्कासित गर्नेछु,' यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

And if it will ask you the people this or the prophet or a priest saying what? [is] [the] burden of Yahweh and you will say to them what? burden and I will abandon you [the] utterance of Yahweh.

34 ‘यो परमप्रभुको बोझ हो,’ भनिरहने अगमवक्ता, पुजारी र मानिसका सम्‍बन्‍धमा म त्‍यो मानिस र उसको घरानालाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।

And the prophet and the priest and the people who he will say [the] burden of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the person that and on house his.

35 तिमीहरू हरेक व्‍यक्‍तिले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई र हरेक मानिसले आफ्नो भाइलाई निरन्‍तर सोधिरहन्छौ, 'परमप्रभुले के जवाफ दिनुभयो?' र 'परमप्रभुले के घोषणा गर्नुभयो?' ।

Thus you will say each to neighbor his and each to brother his what? did he answer Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.

36 तर तिमीहरू फेरि 'परमप्रभुको बोझ' को बारेमा कुरा गर्नेछैनौ, किनकि बोझचाहिं हरेक मानिसको आफ्नै वचन हो, र तिमीहरूले जीवित परमेश्‍वर, सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु, हाम्रा परमेश्‍वरका वचनलाई बङ्ग्याएका छौ ।

And [the] burden of Yahweh not you will remember again for the burden it is for a person own word his and you change [the] words of God living Yahweh of hosts God our.

37 अगमवक्तालाई तैंले यसो भनेर सोध्‍नेछस्, 'परमप्रभुले तिमीलाई के जवाफ दिनुभयो?' वा 'परमप्रभुले के भन्‍नुभयो?'

Thus you will say to the prophet what? did he answer you Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.

38 तर तिमीहरू भन्‍छौ, 'यो परमप्रभुको बोझ हो,' भने, परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः ‘यो परमप्रभुको बोझ हो,’ भनी तिमीहरूले भन्‍नेछैनौ भनेर मैले तिमीहरूलाई पठाउँदा पनि तिमीहरूले, ‘यो परमप्रभुको बोझ हो,’ भन्‍यौ,

And if [the] burden of Yahweh you will say therefore thus he says Yahweh because have spoken you the word this [the] burden of Yahweh and I sent to you saying not you must say [the] burden of Yahweh.

39 यसकारण, हेर, तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूलाई मैले दिएको सहरसाँगै म तिमीहरूलाई समातेर मेरो उपस्थितिबाट टाढा फल्‍नै लागेको छु ।

Therefore here [am] I and I will surely you lift up and I will abandon you and the city which I gave to you and to ancestors your from on face my.

40 तब म तिमीहरूमाथि अनन्त लाज र अपमान हालिदिनेछु, जुन कहिल्यै बिर्सिने छैन ।”

And I will put on you a reproach of perpetuity and shame of perpetuity which not it will be forgotten.
