यशैया 66

1 परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “स्वर्ग मेरो सिंहासन हो र पृथ्वी मेरो पाउदान हो । तब तिमीहरूले मेरो निम्ति भवन कहाँ बनाउने छौ? मैले विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ कहाँ छ?

Thus said Jehovah: The heavens [are] My throne, And the earth My footstool, Where [is] this — the house that ye build for Me? And where [is] this — the place — My rest?

2 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “यी सबै कुराहरू मेरै हातले बनाएका हुन् । यसरी नै ती हुन आए ।” मैले स्‍याबसी दिने मानिस यही हो, जो आत्मामा तोडिएको र चूर्ण छ र जो मेरो वचनमा काम्दछ ।

And all these My hand hath made, And all these things are, An affirmation of Jehovah! And unto this one I look attentively, Unto the humble and bruised in spirit, And who is trembling at My word.

3 जसले गोरु मार्छ त्यसले मानिसको हत्या पनि गर्छ । जसले थुमा बलि चढाउँछ, त्यसले कुकुरको घाँटी पनि भाँच्छ । जसले अन्‍नबलि चढाउँछ त्यसले सुँगुरको रगत पनि चढाउँछ । जसले सम्झना स्वरूप धूप चढाउँछ, त्यसले दुष्‍टतालाई पनि आशिष् दिन्‍छ । तिनीहरूले आफ्नै मार्गहरू रोजेका छन् र आफ्‍ना घृणित थोकहरूमा तिनीहरू रमाउँछन् ।

Whoso slaughtereth the ox smiteth a man, Whoso sacrificeth the lamb beheadeth a dog, Whoso is bringing up a present — The blood of a sow, Whoso is making mention of frankincense, Is blessing iniquity. Yea, they have fixed on their own ways, And in their abominations their soul hath delighted.

4 त्यसरी नै तिनीहरूको आफ्नो दण्ड म चुन्‍नेछु । तिनीहरूले जे कुराको डर मान्छन् त्यही नै म तिनीहरूमा ल्याउनेछु किनभने मैले बोलाउँदा कसैले जवाफ दिएन । मैले बोलाउँदा कसैले सुनेन । मेरो दृष्‍टिमा जे खराब थियो तिनीहरूले त्यही गरे र मलाई जे कुराले खुसी पर्दैन त्यही गरे ।”

I also — I fix on their vexations, And their fears I bring in to them, Because I have called, and there is none answering, I spake, and they have not hearkened, And they do the evil things in Mine eyes, And on that which I desired not — fixed.

5 परमप्रभुको वचनमा काम्‍नेहरू हो, उहाँको वचन सुन, “तिमीहरूलाई मेरो नाउँको कारणले घृणा गर्ने र बहिस्कार गर्ने तिमीहरूका भाइहरूले भनेका छन्, 'परमप्रभु महिमित हुनुभएको होस्, अनि हामीले तिमीहरूको आनन्द देख्‍नेछौँ,' तर तिनीहरू शर्ममा पारिनेछन् ।

Hear a word of Jehovah, Ye who are trembling unto His word, Said have your brethren who are hating you, Who are driving you out, for My name's sake: 'Honoured is Jehovah, and we look on your joy,' But they are ashamed.

6 सहरबाट युद्धको होहल्लाको आवाज आउँछ, मन्दिरबाट एउटा आवाज, परमप्रभुले आफ्‍ना शत्रुहरूलाई बदला लिनुभएको आवाज आउँछ ।

A voice of noise [is] from the city, a voice from the temple, The voice of Jehovah, giving recompence to His enemies.

7 प्रसवको वेथा लाग्‍नुभन्‍दा पहिले नै त्यसले बालक जन्माउनेछे । त्यसमाथि पीडा आउनअगि नै त्यसले छोरा जन्माई ।

Before she is pained she hath brought forth, Before a pang cometh to her, She hath delivered a male.

8 यस्तो कुरा कसले सुनेको छ? यस्तो कुरा कसले देखेको छ? के देश एकै दिनमा जन्मन्छ? के जाति एकै क्षणमा स्थापित हुन सक्छ? तापनि सियोन प्रसवको वेथामा जाने बित्तिकै, त्यसले आफ्‍ना छोराछोरी जन्माउँछे ।

Who hath heard anything like this? Who hath seen anything like these? Is earth caused to bring forth in one day? Born is a nation at once? For she hath been pained, Zion also hath borne her sons.

9 परमप्रभु सोध्‍नुहुन्छ, “के म बालकलाई जन्मने समयमा ल्याउँ, अनि बालकलाई जन्मिन नदिऊँ? वा के म बालकलाई जन्‍मने क्षणमा ल्याउँ र त्‍यसलाई पछाडि धकेलूँ? तेरा परमेश्‍वर सोध्‍नुहुन्छ ।”

'Do I bring to the birth, And not cause to bring forth?' saith Jehovah, 'Am not I He who is causing to beget? I have also restrained,' said thy God.

10 यरूशलेमसित आनन्दित होओ र त्यसको निम्ति खुसी होओ, तिमीहरू सबै जसले त्यसलाई प्रेम गर्छौ । त्यसको निम्ति विलाप गर्नेहरू सबै त्योसँगै आनन्दित होओ ।

Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, And be glad in her, all ye loving her, Rejoice ye with her for joy, All ye are mourning for her,

11 किनकि तिमीहरू खानेछौ र तृप्‍त हुनेछौ । त्यसका स्तनहरूले तिमीहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनेछ, किनकि तिमीहरू आघाउञ्‍जेल ती पिउनेछौ र त्यसको महिमाको प्रशस्ततासँगै खुसी हुनेछौ ।

So that ye suck, and have been satisfied, From the breast of her consolations, So that ye wring out, and have delighted yourselves From the abundance of her honour.

12 परमप्रभु यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ, “त्यसमाथि समृद्धिलाई नदीझैं र जातिहरूका धनलाई उर्लेको खोलाझैं मैले फिंजाउन लागेको छु । तिमीहरूले त्यसको तर्फबाट पालनपोषण गर्नेछौ, त्यसको बाहुलीमा बोकिनेछौ र त्यसको घुँडामा खेलाइनेछौ ।

For thus said Jehovah: 'Lo, I am stretching out to her peace as a river, And as an overflowing stream the honour of nations, And ye have sucked, on the side ye are carried, And on the knees ye are dandled.

13 आमाले आफ्‍नो बालकलाई सान्त्वना दिएझैं म तिमीहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनेछु, र यरूशलेममा तिमीहरूले सान्त्वना पाउनेछौ ।”

As one whom his mother comforteth, so do I comfort you, Yea, in Jerusalem ye are comforted.

14 तिमीहरूले यो देख्‍नेछौ र तिमीहरूको हृदय आनन्दित हुनेछ, तिमीहरूका हड्‍डीहरू कलिलो घाँसझैं पलाउनेछ । परमप्रभुको बाहुलीले आफ्‍ना सेवकहरूलाई प्रकट गर्नेछ, तर आफ्ना शत्रहरूका विरुद्धमा उहाँले आफ्‍नो रिस प्रकट गर्नुहुनेछ ।

And ye have seen, and rejoiced hath your heart, And your bones as tender grass do flourish, And the hand of Jehovah hath been known unto His servants, And He hath been indignant with His enemies.

15 हेर, परमप्रभु आगोसँगै आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँको क्रोधको ताप र आगोको ज्वालासँगै उहाँको हप्‍की ल्याउनलाई उहाका रथहरूचाहिं आँधीझैं आउँदैछन् ।

For, lo, Jehovah in fire cometh, And as a hurricane His chariots, To refresh in fury His anger, And His rebuke in flames of fire.

16 किनकि परमप्रभुले आगोद्वारा र आफ्‍नो तरवारले मानवजातिमाथि न्याय गर्नुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुद्वारा मारिनेहरू धैरै हुनेछन् ।

For by fire and by His sword, Doth Jehovah do judgment with all flesh. And many have been Jehovah's pierced ones.'

17 तिनीहरू आफैलाई पवित्र पार्छन् र आफैलाई शुद्ध पार्छन्, ताकि सुँगुरको मासु र मुसाजस्तै घिन लाग्‍दा थोकहरू खानेको पछि लागेर बगैंचाभित्र जान सकून् । तिनीहरूको अन्त्य हुनेछ— यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।

Those sanctifying and cleansing themselves at the gardens, After Ahad in the midst, Eating flesh of the sow, And of the abomination, and of the mouse, Together are consumed, An affirmation of Jehovah.

18 किनकि तिनीहरूका कामहरू र तिनीहरूका विचारहरू म जान्दछु । सबै जातिहरू र भाषाहरू मैले भेला पार्ने समय आउँदैछ । तिनीहरू आउनेछन् र मेरो महिमा देख्‍नेछन् ।

And I — their works and their thoughts, I come to gather all the nations and tongues, And they have come and seen My honour.

19 तिनीहरूको माझमा म आफ्‍नो एउटा शक्तिशाली चिन्ह खडा गर्नेछु । तब म तिनीहरूबाट बाँचेकाहरूलाई जातिहरूकहाँ: तर्शीश, पुट र लुड, आफ्‍ना धनु तान्‍ने धनुर्धारीहरू, तुबल, जावन र टाढाका समुद्रका किनारतिर पठाउनेछु जहाँ तिनीहरूले मेरो बारेमा सुनेका छैनन्, न त मेरो महिमा देखेका छैन् । तिनीहरूले जातिहरूका माझमा मेरो महिमाको घोषणा गर्नेछन् ।

And I have set among them a sign, And have sent out of them those escaping unto the nations, (Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawing bow, Tubal and Javan, the isles that are far off, ) Who have not heard My fame, nor seen Mine honour, And they have declared Mine honour among nations.

20 तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका सबै भाइहरूलाई परमप्रभुको निम्ति बलिदान झैं सबै जातिहरूबाट फिर्ता ल्याउनेछन् । तिनीहरू घोडाहरूमा, रथहरूमा, गाडाहरूमा, खच्‍चरहरूमा र ऊँटहरूमा चढेर मेरो पवित्र पर्वत यरूशलेममा आउनेछन्, परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ । किनकि इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको भवनमा एउटा शद्ध भाँडामा अन्‍नबलि ल्याउनेछन् ।

And they have brought all your brethren out of all the nations, A present to Jehovah, On horses, and on chariot, and on litters, And on mules, and on dromedaries, Unto My holy mountain Jerusalem, said Jehovah, As the sons of Israel bring the present in a clean vessel, Into the house of Jehovah.

21 यिनीहरूमध्ये कसैलाई म पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरूको रूपमा पनि चुन्‍नेछु, परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ ।

And also of them I take for priests, For Levites, said Jehovah.

22 किनकि, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, जसरी मैले बनाउने नयाँ आकाश र नयाँ पृथ्वी मेरो सामु रहनेछन्, त्यसरी नै तिमीहरूका सन्तानहरू र तिमीहरूको नाउँ मेरो सामु रहनेछ ।

For, as the new heavens and the new earth that I am making, Are standing before Me, An affirmation of Jehovah! So remain doth your seed and your name.

23 एक महिनेदेखि अर्कोसम्‍म र एक शबाथ-दिनदेखि अर्कोसम्‍म सबै मानिसहरू मलाई दण्डवत गर्न आउनेछन्, परमप्रभु भन्‍नुहुन्छ ।

And it hath been from month to month, And from sabbath to sabbath, Come do all flesh to bow themselves before Me, Said Jehovah.

24 तिनीहरू बाहिर जानेछन् र मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गर्ने मानिसहरूको लासहरू हेर्नेछन्, किनकि तिनीहरूलाई खाने कीराहरू मर्नेछैनन् र तिनीहरूलाई जलाउने आगो निभ्‍नेछैन । यो सबै मानिसहरूका निम्ति एउटा घृणा हुनेछ ।"

And they have gone forth, And looked on the carcases of the men Who are transgressing against me, For their worm dieth not, And their fire is not quenched, And they have been an abhorrence to all flesh!
