यशैया 66
1 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “स्वर्ग मेरो सिंहासन हो र पृथ्वी मेरो पाउदान हो । तब तिमीहरूले मेरो निम्ति भवन कहाँ बनाउने छौ? मैले विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ कहाँ छ?
This is what Yahweh says, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where then is the house you will build for me? Where is the place where I may rest?
2 यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, “यी सबै कुराहरू मेरै हातले बनाएका हुन् । यसरी नै ती हुन आए ।” मैले स्याबसी दिने मानिस यही हो, जो आत्मामा तोडिएको र चूर्ण छ र जो मेरो वचनमा काम्दछ ।
My hand has made all these things; that is how these things came to be—this is Yahweh's declaration. This is the man of whom I approve, the broken and contrite in spirit, and who trembles at my word.
3 जसले गोरु मार्छ त्यसले मानिसको हत्या पनि गर्छ । जसले थुमा बलि चढाउँछ, त्यसले कुकुरको घाँटी पनि भाँच्छ । जसले अन्नबलि चढाउँछ त्यसले सुँगुरको रगत पनि चढाउँछ । जसले सम्झना स्वरूप धूप चढाउँछ, त्यसले दुष्टतालाई पनि आशिष् दिन्छ । तिनीहरूले आफ्नै मार्गहरू रोजेका छन् र आफ्ना घृणित थोकहरूमा तिनीहरू रमाउँछन् ।
He who slaughters an ox also murders a man; he who sacrifices a lamb also breaks a dog's neck; he who offers a grain offering offers swine's blood; he who offers a memorial of incense also blesses wickedness. They have chosen their own ways, and they take pleasure in their abominations.
4 त्यसरी नै तिनीहरूको आफ्नो दण्ड म चुन्नेछु । तिनीहरूले जे कुराको डर मान्छन् त्यही नै म तिनीहरूमा ल्याउनेछु किनभने मैले बोलाउँदा कसैले जवाफ दिएन । मैले बोलाउँदा कसैले सुनेन । मेरो दृष्टिमा जे खराब थियो तिनीहरूले त्यही गरे र मलाई जे कुराले खुसी पर्दैन त्यही गरे ।”
In the same way I will choose their own punishment; I will bring on them what they fear, because when I called, no one answered; when I spoke, no one listened. They did what was evil in my sight, and chose to do what displeases me.”
5 परमप्रभुको वचनमा काम्नेहरू हो, उहाँको वचन सुन, “तिमीहरूलाई मेरो नाउँको कारणले घृणा गर्ने र बहिस्कार गर्ने तिमीहरूका भाइहरूले भनेका छन्, 'परमप्रभु महिमित हुनुभएको होस्, अनि हामीले तिमीहरूको आनन्द देख्नेछौँ,' तर तिनीहरू शर्ममा पारिनेछन् ।
Hear the word of Yahweh, you who tremble at his word, “Your brothers who hate and exclude you for my name's sake have said, 'May Yahweh be glorified, then we will see your joy,' but they will be put to shame.
6 सहरबाट युद्धको होहल्लाको आवाज आउँछ, मन्दिरबाट एउटा आवाज, परमप्रभुले आफ्ना शत्रुहरूलाई बदला लिनुभएको आवाज आउँछ ।
A sound of battle tumult comes from the city, a sound from the temple, the sound of Yahweh paying back his enemies.
7 प्रसवको वेथा लाग्नुभन्दा पहिले नै त्यसले बालक जन्माउनेछे । त्यसमाथि पीडा आउनअगि नै त्यसले छोरा जन्माई ।
Before she goes into labor, she gives birth; before pain is upon her, she gave birth to a son.
8 यस्तो कुरा कसले सुनेको छ? यस्तो कुरा कसले देखेको छ? के देश एकै दिनमा जन्मन्छ? के जाति एकै क्षणमा स्थापित हुन सक्छ? तापनि सियोन प्रसवको वेथामा जाने बित्तिकै, त्यसले आफ्ना छोराछोरी जन्माउँछे ।
Who has heard of such a thing? Who has seen such things? Will a land be born in one day? Can a nation be established in one moment? Yet as soon as Zion goes into labor, she gives birth to her children.
9 परमप्रभु सोध्नुहुन्छ, “के म बालकलाई जन्मने समयमा ल्याउँ, अनि बालकलाई जन्मिन नदिऊँ? वा के म बालकलाई जन्मने क्षणमा ल्याउँ र त्यसलाई पछाडि धकेलूँ? तेरा परमेश्वर सोध्नुहुन्छ ।”
Do I bring a baby to the birth opening and not permit the child to be born?—asks Yahweh. Or do I bring a child to moment of delivery and then hold it back?—asks your God.”
10 यरूशलेमसित आनन्दित होओ र त्यसको निम्ति खुसी होओ, तिमीहरू सबै जसले त्यसलाई प्रेम गर्छौ । त्यसको निम्ति विलाप गर्नेहरू सबै त्योसँगै आनन्दित होओ ।
Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her, all you who mourned over her!
11 किनकि तिमीहरू खानेछौ र तृप्त हुनेछौ । त्यसका स्तनहरूले तिमीहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनेछ, किनकि तिमीहरू आघाउञ्जेल ती पिउनेछौ र त्यसको महिमाको प्रशस्ततासँगै खुसी हुनेछौ ।
For you will nurse and be satisfied; with her breasts you will be comforted; for you will drink them to the full and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
12 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “त्यसमाथि समृद्धिलाई नदीझैं र जातिहरूका धनलाई उर्लेको खोलाझैं मैले फिंजाउन लागेको छु । तिमीहरूले त्यसको तर्फबाट पालनपोषण गर्नेछौ, त्यसको बाहुलीमा बोकिनेछौ र त्यसको घुँडामा खेलाइनेछौ ।
This is what Yahweh says, “I am about to spread prosperity over her like a river, and the riches of the nations like an overflowing stream. You will nurse at her side, be carried in her arms, and be dandled on her knees.
13 आमाले आफ्नो बालकलाई सान्त्वना दिएझैं म तिमीहरूलाई सान्त्वना दिनेछु, र यरूशलेममा तिमीहरूले सान्त्वना पाउनेछौ ।”
As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you, and you will be comforted in Jerusalem.”
14 तिमीहरूले यो देख्नेछौ र तिमीहरूको हृदय आनन्दित हुनेछ, तिमीहरूका हड्डीहरू कलिलो घाँसझैं पलाउनेछ । परमप्रभुको बाहुलीले आफ्ना सेवकहरूलाई प्रकट गर्नेछ, तर आफ्ना शत्रहरूका विरुद्धमा उहाँले आफ्नो रिस प्रकट गर्नुहुनेछ ।
You will see this, and your heart will rejoice, and your bones will sprout like the tender grass. The hand of Yahweh will be made known to his servants, but he will show his anger against his enemies.
15 हेर, परमप्रभु आगोसँगै आउँदै हुनुहुन्छ, र उहाँको क्रोधको ताप र आगोको ज्वालासँगै उहाँको हप्की ल्याउनलाई उहाका रथहरूचाहिं आँधीझैं आउँदैछन् ।
For look, Yahweh is coming with fire, and his chariots are coming like the windstorm to bring the heat of his anger and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 किनकि परमप्रभुले आगोद्वारा र आफ्नो तरवारले मानवजातिमाथि न्याय गर्नुहुन्छ । परमप्रभुद्वारा मारिनेहरू धैरै हुनेछन् ।
For Yahweh executes judgment on mankind by fire and with his sword. Those killed by Yahweh will be many.
17 तिनीहरू आफैलाई पवित्र पार्छन् र आफैलाई शुद्ध पार्छन्, ताकि सुँगुरको मासु र मुसाजस्तै घिन लाग्दा थोकहरू खानेको पछि लागेर बगैंचाभित्र जान सकून् । तिनीहरूको अन्त्य हुनेछ— यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो ।
They consecrate themselves and make themselves pure, so they may enter the gardens, following the one in the middle of those who eat the flesh of pig and abominable things like mice. “They will come to an end—this is Yahweh's declaration.
18 किनकि तिनीहरूका कामहरू र तिनीहरूका विचारहरू म जान्दछु । सबै जातिहरू र भाषाहरू मैले भेला पार्ने समय आउँदैछ । तिनीहरू आउनेछन् र मेरो महिमा देख्नेछन् ।
For I know their deeds and their thoughts. The time is coming when I will gather all nations and languages. They will come and will see my glory.
19 तिनीहरूको माझमा म आफ्नो एउटा शक्तिशाली चिन्ह खडा गर्नेछु । तब म तिनीहरूबाट बाँचेकाहरूलाई जातिहरूकहाँ: तर्शीश, पुट र लुड, आफ्ना धनु तान्ने धनुर्धारीहरू, तुबल, जावन र टाढाका समुद्रका किनारतिर पठाउनेछु जहाँ तिनीहरूले मेरो बारेमा सुनेका छैनन्, न त मेरो महिमा देखेका छैन् । तिनीहरूले जातिहरूका माझमा मेरो महिमाको घोषणा गर्नेछन् ।
I will set a mighty sign among them. Then I will send survivors from them to the nations: To Tarshish, Put, and Lud, archers who draw their bows, to Tubal, Javan, and to the distant coastlands where they have not heard about me nor seen my glory. They will proclaim my glory among the nations.
20 तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूका सबै भाइहरूलाई परमप्रभुको निम्ति बलिदान झैं सबै जातिहरूबाट फिर्ता ल्याउनेछन् । तिनीहरू घोडाहरूमा, रथहरूमा, गाडाहरूमा, खच्चरहरूमा र ऊँटहरूमा चढेर मेरो पवित्र पर्वत यरूशलेममा आउनेछन्, परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । किनकि इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले परमप्रभुको भवनमा एउटा शद्ध भाँडामा अन्नबलि ल्याउनेछन् ।
They will bring back all your brothers out of all the nations, as an offering to Yahweh. They will come on horses, and in chariots, in wagons, on mules, and on camels, to my holy mountain Jerusalem—says Yahweh. For the people of Israel will bring a grain offering in a clean vessel into the house of Yahweh.
21 यिनीहरूमध्ये कसैलाई म पुजारीहरू र लेवीहरूको रूपमा पनि चुन्नेछु, परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
Some of these I will even choose as priests and Levites—says Yahweh.
22 किनकि, यो परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो, जसरी मैले बनाउने नयाँ आकाश र नयाँ पृथ्वी मेरो सामु रहनेछन्, त्यसरी नै तिमीहरूका सन्तानहरू र तिमीहरूको नाउँ मेरो सामु रहनेछ ।
For just as the new heavens and the new earth that I will make will remain before me—this is Yahweh's declaration—so your descendants will remain, and your name will remain.
23 एक महिनेदेखि अर्कोसम्म र एक शबाथ-दिनदेखि अर्कोसम्म सबै मानिसहरू मलाई दण्डवत गर्न आउनेछन्, परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
From one month to the next, and from one Sabbath to the next, all people will come to bow down to me—says Yahweh.
24 तिनीहरू बाहिर जानेछन् र मेरो विरुद्धमा विद्रोह गर्ने मानिसहरूको लासहरू हेर्नेछन्, किनकि तिनीहरूलाई खाने कीराहरू मर्नेछैनन् र तिनीहरूलाई जलाउने आगो निभ्नेछैन । यो सबै मानिसहरूका निम्ति एउटा घृणा हुनेछ ।"
They will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me, for the worms that eat them will not die, and the fire that consumes them will not be quenched; and it will be an abhorrence to all flesh.”
