यशैया 65
1 “जसले सोधेनन् तिनीहरूद्वारा खोजिन म तयार थिएँ । जसले खोजेनन् तिनीहरूद्वारा भेट्टाइन म तयार थिएँ । मेरो नाउँ नपुकार्ने जातिलाई मैले भनें, 'म यहीं छु । म यहीं छु ।’
I have let myself be consulted by them who had not asked, I have suffered myself to be found by them who had not sought me, —I have said, Here I am! Here I am! Unto a nation that had not been called by my name,
2 हठी मानिसहरूलाई दिनभरि मैले आफ्ना हातहरू फैलाएको छु, जो त्यस्ता मार्ग हिंड्छन् जुन असल छैन, जो तिनीहरूका आफ्नै विचारहरू र योजनाहरूमा हिंडेका छन् ।
I have spread out my hands all the day, Unto a rebellious people, —Who walk In the way that is not good, After their own devices.
3 तिनीहरूले मलाई बगैंचामा बलिदान चढाएर र इँटको वेदीमाथि धूप बालेर मलाई निरन्तर क्रोधित बनाए ।
The people who are provoking me to anger to my face continually, —Sacrificing in gardens, and Burning incense upon bricks;
4 तिनीहरू चिहानहरूका वरिपरि बस्छन् र रातभरि जाग्राम बस्छन् अनि आफ्ना भाँडाहरूमा अशुद्ध मासुको झोलसँगै सुँगुरको मासु खान्छन् ।
Who tarry among graves, And in the secret places, do lodge, Who eat the flesh of swine, And the broth of refuse things is in their vessels, —
5 तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “टाढै खडा हो, मेरो नजिक नआइज, किनकि तँभन्दा म पवित्र छु ।' यी कुराहरू मेरो नाकमा दिनभरि बल्ने आगो धूँवा हुन् ।
Who say—Draw near by thyself, Do not approach with me, For I am holier than thou! These, are A smoke in my nostrils, A fire, burning all the day.
6 हेर, मेरो सामु यस्तो लेखिएको छः म चूपचाप रहनेछैनँ, किनकि तिनीहरूलाई म साटो फेर्नेछु । तिनीहरूकै काखमा तिनीहरूलाई म बदला दिनेछु,
Lo! it is written before me, —I will not keep silence, But I have recompensed, and will recompense into their bosom:
7 तिनीहरूका पापहरू र तिनीहरूका पुर्खाहरूका पापहरूको निम्ति एकसाथ,” परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ । “डाँडाहरूमाथि धूप बालेको र पहाडहरूमाथि मेरो गिल्ला गरेकोमा म तिनीहरूसँग बदला लिनेछु । यसकारण तिनीहरूको विगतका कामहरूलाई तिनीहरूको काखमा म नापिदिनेछु ।”
Your own iniquities, And the, iniquities of your fathers together, Saith Yahweh, Who have burned incense upon the mountains, And upon the hills, have reproached me, —Therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
8 परमप्रभु यसो यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “दाखको झुप्पामा रस भेट्टाउँदा, एक जनाले 'यसलाई नाश नपार, किनकि यसमा असल कुरा छ' भने जस्तो हो । मेरो सेवकको खतिर म यसै गर्नेछुः तिनीहरू सबैलाई म नाश गर्नेछैन ।
Thus, saith Yahweh—As, new wine, is found, in the cluster, And one saith, Do not destroy it, for a blessing is in it, So, will I do for the sake of my servants, That I may not destroy the whole [nation];
9 याकूब र यहूदाका सन्तानहरूलाई म ल्याउनेछु, जसले मेरो पर्वतहरू अधिकार गर्नेछन् । मेरा चुनिएका जनहरूले देशलाई अधिकार गर्नेछन् र मेरा सेवकहरू त्यहाँ बस्नेछन् ।
Therefore will I bring forth Out of Jacob, a seed, and Out of Judah, an inheritor of my mountains, That my chosen ones may inherit it, And, my servants, dwell there;
10 मलाई खोज्ने मेरा मानिसहरूका निम्ति शारोन भेडाबाख्राको चरन र आकोरको बेसी गाईवस्तुको विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ बन्नेछन् ।
Then shall, Sharon, become, a fold for flocks, And the vale of Achor for the lying down of herds, —For my people who have sought me.
11 तर तिमीहरू जसले परमप्रभुलाई त्याग्छौ, जसले मेरो पवित्र पर्वतलाई बिर्सन्छौ, जसले भाग्य-देवको निम्ति टेबल तयार पार्छौ र भावी-देवीको निम्ति मिसाएको मद्यका गिलासहरू भर्छौ ।
But, ye are they—Who forsake Yahweh Who forget my holy mountain—Who prepare, for Fortune, a table and Who fill for Destiny, mixed wine;
12 तिमीहरूलाई म तरवारको निम्ति खटाउनेछु र तिमीहरू सबै जना हत्यारा सामु घोप्टिनेछौ, किनभने मैले तिमीहरूलाई बोलाउँदा तिमीहरूले जवाफ दिएनौ । म बोल्दा तिमीहरूले सुनेनौ । तर तिमीहरूले मेरो दृष्टिमा जे खराब थियो त्यही गर्यौ र मलाई खसी नपार्ने काम गर्न रोज्यौ ।”
Therefore will I destine you to the sword, And, ye all, to the slaughter, shall bow down. Because I called and ye answered not, I spake, and ye hearkened not, —But did that which was wicked in mine eyes, And of that wherein I delighted not, ye made choice,
13 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “हेर, मेरा सेवकहरूले खानेछन्, तर तिमीहरू भोकै हुनेछौ । मेरा सेवकहरूले पिउनेछन्, तर तिमीहरू तिर्खाउनेछौ । मेरा सेवकहरूले आनन्दित हुनेछन्, तर तिमीहरू लाजमा पर्नेछौ ।
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, —Lo! my servants, shall eat but, ye, shall be famished, Lo! my servants, shall drink but, ye shall be thirsty, —Lo! my servants, shall rejoice but ye, shall turn pale;
14 हेर, हृदयको खुसीको कारणले मेरा सेवकहरू आनन्दसाथ कराउनेछन्, तर तिमीहरू हृदयको पीडाको कारणले कराउनेछौ र आत्माको पीडाको कारणले विलाप गर्नेछौ ।
Lo! my servants, shall shout in triumph for mirth of heart But, ye, shall make outcry, for pain of heart, And for a breaking of spirit, shall ye howl.
15 मेरा चुनिएका जनहरूलाई बोल्न तिमीहरूले सरापको रूपमा आफ्ना नाउँ छोड्नेछौ । म परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले नै तिमीहरूलाई मार्नेछु । म मेरा सेवकहरूलाई म अर्कै नाउँले बोलाउनेछु ।
So shall ye leave your name for an oath, to my chosen ones, —So then My Lord Yahweh, will slay thee, —And his servants, will he, call by another name:
16 पृथ्वीमा आशिष् दिनेहरू मद्वारा अर्थात् सत्यताको परमेश्वरद्वारा आशिषित् हुनेछन् । पृथ्वीमा शपथ लिनेले मेरो अर्थात् सत्यताको परमेश्वरको नाउँमा शपथ लिनेछ, किनभने पहिलेका कष्टहरू बिर्सिइनेछन्, किनकि ती मेरा दृष्टिबाट लुकाइनेछन् ।
So that he who blesseth himself in the earth, Will bless himself in the God of faithfulness, And he who sweareth in the earth Will swear by the God of faithfulness—Because the former troubles have been forgotten, and Because they are hid from mine eyes.
17 किनकि हेर, मैले नयाँ आकाश र नयाँ पृथ्वी सृष्टि गर्न लागेको छु । अनि पहिले कुराहरू याद हुने वा मनमा आउनेछैन ।
For, behold me! Creating new heavens, and a new earth, —And the former shall not be mentioned, neither shall they come up on the heart,
18 तर मैले सृष्टि गर्न लागेको कुरामा तिमीहरू सदासर्वदा खुसी र आनन्दित हुनेछौ । हेर, यरूशलेमलाई आनन्दको रूपमा र त्यसका मानिसहरूलाई खुसीको रूपमा मैले सृष्टि गर्न लागेको छु ।
But joy ye and exult, perpetually, in what I am about to create, —For, behold me! Creating Jerusalem an exultation and Her People a joy;
19 यरूशलेमसित म आनन्दित र मेरा मानिसहरूसित खुसी हुनेछु । त्यसमा रुवाइ र कष्टको सोर कदापि सुनिनेछैन ।
Therefore will I Exult in Jerusalem, and Joy in my People, —And there shall be heard in her, no more The sound of weeping, or the sound of a cry:
20 त्यहाँ बालक फेरि कहिल्यै केही दिन मात्र जिउनेछैन । न त वृद्ध मानिस अकालमा मर्नेछ । एक सय वर्षको उमेरमा मर्ने व्यक्तिलाई जवान भनिनेछ । एक सय वर्षको उमेरसम्म पुग्न नसक्ने कुनै पनि व्यक्ति श्रापित ठानिनेछ ।
There shall be thenceforward, no more, A suckling of a few days, or an elder Who filleth not up his days, —But, a youth a hundred years old, may die, Yea a sinner a hundred years old, shall be accursed,
21 तिनीहरूले घरहरू बनाउनेछन् र तिनमा बसोवास गर्नेछन् । तिनीहरूले दाखबारीहरू लगाउनेछन् र तिनका फल खानेछन् ।
Then shall they build houses and dwell in them, —And plant vineyards and eat the fruit of them;
22 तिनीहरूले घर निर्माण गरेपछि फेरि त्यसमा अरू कोही बस्ने कुरा कदापि हुनेछैन । तिनीहरूले रोप्ने र फल अरूले खाने हुनेछैन, किनकि मानिसहरूका दिनहरू रूखहरूका दिनहरू जस्तै हुनेछ । मेरा चुनिएकाहरूले आफ्ना हातका कामको पुर्ण रूपमा उपभोग गर्नेछन् ।
They shall not build, and another, dwell, They shall not plant, and, another, eat, —For as the days of a tree, shall be the days of my people, And, the work of their own hands, shall my chosen ones, use to the full:
23 तिनीहरूले व्यर्थमा परिश्रम गर्नेछैनन्, न त निराशामा जन्म दिनेछन् । किनकि तिनीहरू र तिनीहरूसँगै तिनीहरूका सन्तानहरू पनि परमप्रभुद्वारा आशिष् दिइएका सन्तानहरू हुन् ।
They shall not labour in vain, Nor have children for terror, —For the seed of the blessed ones of Yahweh, shall they be, And their offspring, with them.
24 तिनीहरूले पुकार्नअगि म जवाफ दिनेछु । अनि तिनीहरू बोल्दै गर्दा नै मैले सुन्नेछु ।
And it shall come to pass—That before they call, I, will answer, And while yet they are speaking, I, will hear.
25 ब्वाँसो र थुमा सँगै चर्नेछन्, र सिंहले गोरूले झैं पराल खानेछ । तर सर्पको खाना धूलो हुनेछ । तिनीहरूले मेरो सबै पवित्र पहाडमाथि फेरि चोट पुर्याउनेछैनन् न त विनाश गर्नेछन्,” परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
The wolf and the lamb, shall feed, in unity, And, the lion, as an ox, shall eat straw; But as for the serpent, dust, shall be his food: They shall not harm—Nor shall they destroy, In all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.
