यशैया 64
1 ओहो, तपाईंले आकाशलाई चिरेर खोल्नुभएको र तल आउनुभएको भए त हुन्थ्यो! तपाईंको उपस्थितिमा पहाडहरू काम्ने थिए,
I wolde that thou brakist heuenes, and camest doun, that hillis fletiden awei fro thi face,
2 जसरी आगोले अम्रिसो जलाउँछ वा आगोले पानी उमाल्छ । ओहो, तपाईंका विरोधीहरूले तपाईंको नाउँ जानेको भए त, तपाईंको उपस्थितिमा जातिहरू काम्ने थिए ।
and failiden as brennyng of fier, and brente in fier; that thi name were made knowun to thin enemyes, and folkis weren disturblid of thi face.
3 पहिले हामीले आशा नै नगरेको अचम्मका कामहरू तपाईंले गर्नुहुँदा, तपाईं तल आउनुभयो र तपाईंको उपस्थितिमा पहडाहरू कामे ।
Whanne thou schalt do merueils, we schulen not abide. Thou camest doun, and hillis fletiden awei fro thi face.
4 प्रचीन समयदेखि नै कसैले पनि सुनेको वा देखेको छैनन्, न त आँखाले तपाईंबाहेक अरू कुनै परमेश्वरलाई देखेको छन्, जसले आफ्नो आशा गर्नेहरूका निम्ति कामहरू गर्नुहुन्छ ।
Fro the world thei herden not, nethir perseyueden with eeris; God, non iye siy, withouten thee, what thingis thou hast maad redi to hem that abiden thee.
5 जे ठिक छ त्यो गर्न खुसी हुने, तपाईंका मार्गहरू मनमा याद गर्ने र तिनीहरूलाई पालन गर्नेहरूलाई सहायता गर्न तपाईं आउनुहुन्छ । हामीले पाप गर्दा तपाईं रिसाउनुभयो । तपाईंका मर्गहरूमा हामी सधैं बचाइनेछौं।
Thou mettist hym that is glad, and doith riytfulnesse; in thi weies thei schulen bithenke on thee. Lo! thou art wrooth, and we synneden; in tho synnes we weren euere, and we schulen be saued.
6 किनकि हामी सबै अशुद्धझैं भएका छौं र हाम्रा सबै धार्मिक कामहरू महिनावारीको कपडाझैं भएका छन् । हामी सबै पातहरू झैं ओइलाएका छौं । हावाले झैं हाम्रा अपराधहरूले हामीलाई उडाएर दलान्छन् ।
And alle we ben maad as an vncleene man; alle oure riytfulnessis ben as the cloth of a womman in vncleene blood; and alle we fellen doun as a leef, and our wickidnessis as wynd han take awei vs.
7 तपाईंको नाउँ पुकार्ने कोही छैन, तपाईंलाई समात्ने कोसिस गर्ने कोही छैन । किनकि तपाईंले हामीबाट आफ्नो अनुहार लुकाउनुभएको छ र हाम्रा अधर्महरूका हातमा हामीलाई बेकम्मा बनाउनुभएको छ ।
Noon is, that clepith thi name to help, that risith, and holdith thee; thou hast hid thi face fro vs, and thou hast hurtlid doun vs in the hond of oure wickidnesse.
8 तापनि, हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं हाम्रा पिता हुनुहुन्छ । हामी माटो हौं । तपाईं हाम्रो कुमाले हुनुहुन्छ । अनि हामी सबै तपाईंको हातका काम हौं ।
And now, Lord, thou art oure fadir; forsothe we ben cley, and thou art oure maker, and alle we ben the werkis of thin hondis.
9 हे परमप्रभु, हामीसँग नरिसाउनुहोस्, न त तपाईंको मनमा हाम्रो विरुद्धमा निनुहोस् । कृपया हामी तपाईंका मानिसहरूलाई हेर्नुहोस् ।
Lord, be thou not wrooth ynow, and haue thou no more mynde on oure wickidnesse. Lo! Lord, biholde thou, alle we ben thi puple.
10 तपाईंका पवित्र सहरहरू उजाड-स्थान भएका छन् । सियोन उजाड-स्थान, यरूशलेम निर्जन भएको छ ।
The citee of thi seyntuarie is forsakun, Sion is maad deseert, Jerusalem is desolat;
11 हाम्रा पुर्खाहरूले तपाईंको प्रशंसा गरेको हाम्रो पवित्र र सुन्दर मन्दिर आगोले नष्ट भएको छ र ज्यादै प्रिय कुराहरू सबै भग्नावशेष भएका छन् ।
the hous of oure halewyng and of oure glorie, where oure fadris herieden thee, is maad in to brennyng of fier; and alle oure desirable thingis ben turned in to fallyngis.
12 हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं कसरी अझै पछि हट्नुहुन्छ? तपाईं कसरी शान्त बस्न र हामीलाई निरन्तर अपमानित हुन हुन दिनुहुन्छ?”
Lord, whether on these thingis thou schalt witholde thee? schalt thou be stille, and schalt thou turmente vs greetli?
