यशैया 62
1 किनकि सियोनको खातिर चूप लाग्नेछैन र यरूशलेमको खातिर म मौन रहनेछैन, जबसम्म त्यसको धार्मिकता चहकिलो रूपमा बढ्दैन र त्यसको उद्धार दन्केको एउटा राँकोझैं हुँदैन ।
For Zion’s sake, will I not hold my peace, And for Jerusalem’s sake, will I not rest, —Until her righteousness, go forth as brightness, And her salvation, as a torch that is lighted.
2 जातिहरूले तेरो धार्मिकता र राजाहरूले तेरो महिमा देख्नेछन् । परमप्रभुले चुन्नुहुने नयाँ नाउँले तँलाई बोलाइनेछ ।
So shall nations see thy righteousness, And all kings, thy glory; And thou shalt be called by a new name, which, the mouth of Yahweh, will name.
3 परमप्रभुको हातमा तँ एउटा सुन्दरताको मुकुट र आफ्नो परमेश्वरको हातमा राजकीय मुकुट हुनेछस् ।
Then shalt thou become—A crown of adorning, in the hand of Yahweh, and A royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
4 तेरो बारेमा कदापि “त्यागिएकी” भनिनेछैनस् । न त तेरो देशलाई फेरि कहिलै “उजाडिएको” भनिनेछ । तँलाई साँच्चै, “त्योसँग म खुसी छु” र तेरो देशलाई “विवाहित” भनिनेछ, किनकि परमप्रभु तँमा खुसी हुनुहुन्छ र तेरो देश विवाहित हुनेछ ।
Thou shalt he termed no longer—Forsaken Nor shall thy land be termed any longer A desolation, But, thou, shalt be called Hephzibah ["My delight is in her"], And, thy land, Beulah ["married"], —For Yahweh hath found delight in thee, And thy land, shall be married.
5 साँच्चै एक जना जवान मानिसले जवान स्त्रीलाई विवाह गरेझैं, तेरा छोराहरूले तँलाई विवाह गर्नेछन् । अनि एक जना दुलहा आफ्नी दुलहीसँग आनन्दित भएझैं तेरा परमेश्वर तँसित आनन्दित हुनुहुनेछ ।
For a young man marrieth, a virgin, Thy sons marry thee! And the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride—Thy God, rejoiceth over thee.
6 ए यरूशलेम, मैले तेरा पर्खालहरूमा रक्षकहरू राखेको छु । तिनीहरू दिनरात चुप बस्दैनन् । तिमीहरू जो परमप्रभुलाई पुकार्छौ, विश्राम नलेओ ।
Upon thy walls O Jerusalem, have I appointed watchmen, All the day and all the night through, let them not hold their peace, —O ye that put Yahweh in mind, Do not take rest to yourselves,
7 उहाँले यरूशलेमलाई पुनःस्थापना गरेर र पृथ्वीमा यसलाई प्रशंसा नबनाएसम्म उहाँलाई विश्राम गर्न नदेओ ।
Neither give rest, unto him, Until he establish and until he set forth Jerusalem as a praise in the earth!
8 परमप्रभुले आफ्नो दाहिने बाहुली र आफ्नो सामर्थ्यद्वारा शपथ खानुभएको छ, “निश्चय नै तेरो अन्न तेरो शत्रुहरूलाई म फेरि दिनेछैन । विदेशीहरूले तेरो नयाँ दाखमद्य पिउनेछैनन्, जसको निम्ति तैंले काम गरेको छस् ।
Sworn hath Yahweh—By his own right hand, and By his own strong arm, —Surely I will give thy corn no more, as food to thine enemies, Nor shall the sons of the foreigner drink thy new wine, for which thou hast toiled;
9 कटनी गर्नेहरूले त्यो खानेछन् र पमरप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्नेछन् । अनि दाख टिप्नेहरूले मेरो पवित्रस्थानको चोकमा दाखमद्य पिउनेछन् ।”
But they who have garnered it, shall eat it, and praise Yahweh, —And they who have gathered in its clusters, shall drink it in my holy courts.
10 ढोकाबाट आओ, ढोकाबाट आओ! मानिसहरूको निम्ति बाटो तयार पार! यसलाई निर्माण गर, मुल बाटो बनाओ! ढुङ्गाहरू बटुल! जातिहरूको निम्ति संकेतको झन्डा उठाओ ।
Pass ye through pass ye through the gates, Prepare ye the way of the people, —Cast ye up, cast ye up the highway, Clear it of stones, Lift ye high a standard unto the peoples.
11 हेर, परमप्रभुले पृथ्वीको अन्तिम छेउसम्म घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, “सियोनकी छोरीलाई भनः हेर्, तेरो मुक्तिदाता आउँदैहुनुहुन्छ । हेर्, उहाँको इनाम उहाँसँगै छ र उहाँको प्रतिफल उहाँको अघि जाँदैछ ।”
Lo! Yahweh, hath sent a message unto the end of the earth: Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Lo! thy Salvation, is coming, —Lo! his reward, is with him, And, his recompense, before him:
12 तिनीहरूले तँलाई यसो भन्नेछन्, “पवित्र मानिसहरू । परमप्रभुले उद्धार गर्नुभएकाहरू,” अनि तँलाई “खोजिएको । नत्यागिएको सहर” भनिनेछ ।
So shall men call them—The holy people The redeemed of Yahweh, —And, thou, shalt be called—Sought out, A city not forsaken,
