यशैया 43
1 तर अब ए याकूब तँलाई सृष्ट गर्नुहुने, अनि ए इस्राएल, तँलाई बनाउनुहुने परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः “नडरा, किनकि मैले तँलाई उद्धार गरेको छु । तेरो नाउँ काढेर मैले तँलाई बोलाएको छु, तँ मेरै होस् ।
But now thus saith Jehovah, that created thee, O Jacob, That formed thee, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed thee; I have called thee by name; thou art mine!
2 तँ पानीबाट भएर जाँदा, म तँसँग हुनेछु । अनि नदीहरूबाट भएर जाँदा तिनीहरूले तँलाई डुबाउनेछैनन् । तँ आगोबाट भएर हिंड्दा तँ जल्नेछैनस् र ज्वालाहरूले तँलाई भस्म पार्नेछैनन् ।
When thou passest through waters, I will be with thee; And through rivers, they shall not overflow thee; When thou walkest through fire, thou shalt not be burned, And the flame shall not consume thee.
3 किनकि म परमप्रभु तेरो परमेश्वर, इस्राएलको परमपवित्र तेरो उद्धारक हुँ । मैले मिश्रदेशलाई तेरो मूल्यको रूपमा दिएको छु, कूश र सेबालाई तेरो बद्लामा दिएको छु ।
For I am Jehovah, thy God, The Holy One of Israel, thy saviour. I will give Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee;
4 तँ मेरो दृष्टिमा मूल्यवान र विशेष भएको हुनाले, म तँलाई प्रेम गर्छु । यसकारण तेरो सट्टामा म मानिसहरूलाई र जीवनको सट्टामा अरू मानिसहरूलाई तेरो दिने छु ।
Because thou art precious in my sight, Because thou art honored, and I love thee, Therefore will I give men for thee, And nations for thy life.
5 नडरा, किनभने म तँसँग छु । तेरा सन्तानलाई म पुर्वबाट ल्याउनेछु र तँलाई पश्चिमबाट जम्मा पार्नेछु ।
Fear not, for I am with thee! I will bring thy children from the East, And gather thee from the West.
6 म उत्तरलाई, 'तिनीहरूलाई सुम्पीदे,' र दक्षिणलाई, 'कुनैलाई पनि नरोक्,' भन्नेछु। मेरा छोराहरूलाई टाढाबाट र मेरी छोरीहरूलाई पृथ्वीको सुदूर क्षेत्रहरूबाट ल्याओ ।
I will say to the North, “Give them up!” And to the South, “Withhold them not! Bring my sons from afar, And my daughters from the ends of the earth;
7 मेरो नाउँद्वारा बोलाइएका सबैलाई, जसलाई मैले मेरो महिमाको निम्ति सृष्टि गरेको छु, जसलाई मैले आकार दिएँ, हो, जसलाई मैले बनाएँ ।
Every one that is called by my name, That I have created for my glory, That I have formed and made!”
8 आफूसँग आँखा भएर पनि अन्धा मानिसहरू, र आफूसँग कान भएर पनि बहिराहरूलाई बहिर ल्याओ ।
Bring forth the blind people, having eyes, And the deaf, having ears.
9 सबै जातिहरू एकसाथ भेला हुन्छन् र मानिसहरू जम्मा हुन्छन् । तिनीहरूमध्ये कसले यो घोषणा गर्न सक्थ्यो र हामीलाई पहिलेको कुराहरू बताउन सक्थ्यो? तिनीहरूलाई ठिक साबित गर्न आ-आफ्ना गवाही ल्याऊन्, तिनीहरूले सुनून् र 'यो सत्य हो' भनी पुष्टि गरून् ।
Let all the nations be gathered together, And the kingdoms be assembled! Who among them hath declared this, And can show us former predictions? Let them produce their witnesses that they are right; That men may hear, and say, It is true!
10 परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरू मेरा गवाहीहरू हौ र मैले चुनेको मेरो सेवक हौ, ताकि तिमीहरूले मलाई चिन र ममा विश्वास गर र म उही हुँ भनी बुझ । मभन्दा पहिले त्यहाँ कुनै ईश्वर बनेको थिएन, र न मपछि कुनै ईश्वर हुनेछ ।
Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, And my servant whom I have chosen, That ye may know and believe me, And understand that I am He. Before me was no god formed, And after me there shall be none.
11 म, म परमप्रभु हुँ, र मबाहके कुनै उद्धारक छैन ।
I, I am Jehovah, And besides me there is no saviour.
12 मैले घोषणा गरेको छु, बचाएको छु र बताएको छु, तिमीहरूका माझमा अरू कुनै ईश्वर छैन । तिमीहरू मेरा गवाहीहरू हौ । म परमेश्वर हुँ,” परमप्रभु घोषणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।
I have declared and have saved; I made it known, when there was no strange god among you; Ye are my witnesses, saith Jehovah, That I am God.
13 आजको दिनदेखि म उही हुँ र कसैले पनि मेरो हातबाट कसैलाई छुट्टाउनेछैन । म काम गर्छु र कसले त्यो फर्काउन सक्छ र?”
Even from the beginning of time I have been He, And none can rescue from my hand; I undertake, and who can hinder?
14 परमप्रभु, तिमीहरूका उद्धारक, इस्राएलका परमपवित्र यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “तिमीहरूका निम्ति म बेबिलोनमा पठाउँछु र तिनीहरू सबैलाई भगौडाहरूका रूपमा तल लानेछु, यसरी बेबिलोनीहरूका आनन्दको गीतलाई विलापको सोरमा बदली गर्नेछु ।
Thus saith Jehovah, Your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sakes have I sent to Babylon, And caused all her fugitives, And the Chaldeans, to descend to the ships of their delight.
15 म परमप्रभु, तेरो परमपवित्र, इस्राएलको सृष्टिकर्ता, तेरो राजा हुँ ।”
I, Jehovah, am your Holy One, The creator of Israel, your king.
16 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, (जसले समुद्रमा बाटो र शक्तिशाली पानीमा गोरेटो खोल्नुभयो,
Thus saith Jehovah, —He that made a way in the sea, And a path in the mighty waters,
17 जसले रथ र घोडा र फौज र शक्तिशाली सेनालाई डोर्याउनुभयो । तिनीहरू एकसाथ ढले । तिनीहरू फेरि कहिल्यै उठ्नेछैनन् । बलिरहेका बत्ती निभाएझैं ती निभाइन्छन् ।)
That caused the chariot and the horse, the army and the forces, to march forth; There they lay down together; they rose no more; They were extinguished; they were quenched like a torch; —
18 “यी पहिलेका कुराहरूका बारेमा विचार नगर, न त धेरै पहिलेका कुराहरूका बारेमा विचार गर ।
Remember not the former things; The things of old regard no more!
19 हेर, मैले एउटा नयाँ कुरा गर्न लागेको छु । अब यो पुरा हुन सुरु हुन्छ । के तिमीहरूले यो बुझ्दैनौ? मरुभूमिमा म एउटा बाटो र उजाड-स्थानमा पानीका खोलाहरू बानउनेछु ।
Behold, I do a new thing; Now shall it spring forth; yea, ye shall see it. Behold, I make a way in the wilderness, And streams in the desert;
20 खेतबारीका जङ्गली जनावरहरू, स्यालहरू र सुतुर्मुर्गहरूले मेरो आदर गर्नेछन्, किनभने मेरा चुनिएका मानिसहरूलाई पिउनको निम्ति म उजाड-स्थानमा पानी र मरुभुमिमा नदीहरू दिन्छु,
The beasts of the forest shall honor me, The jackals and the ostriches; For I make rivers in the wilderness And streams in the desert, To give drink to my people, my chosen.
21 यी मानिसहरू जसलाई मैले आफ्नो निम्ति बनाएँ, ताकि तिनीहरूले मेरा प्रशंसाहरूको वर्णन गरून् ।
This people, which I have formed for myself Shall make known my praise.
22 तर ए याकूब, तैंले मलाई पुकारको छैनस् । ए इस्राएल, तँ मसँग थकित भएको छस् ।
Yet thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob, So as to have wearied thyself for me, O Israel!
23 तैंले तेरो भेडाहरूमध्ये कुनैलाई पनि होमबलिको रूपमा मकहाँ ल्याको छैनस् न तेरा बलिदानहरूले मेरो आदर गरेको छस् । मैले तँमाथि अन्न बलिहरूको भार थोपारेको छैन न धूपहरूको माग गरेर तँलाई थकित बनाएको छु ।
Thou hast not brought me thy lambs for a burnt-offering, Nor honored me with thy sacrifices; I have not burdened thee with oblations, Nor wearied thee with incense;
24 तैंले मलाई पैसा हालेर सुगन्धित बोझो किनेको छैनस्, न तेरो बलिदानहरूको बोसो ममाथि खन्याएको छस् । तर तैंले मलाई आफ्ना पापहरूले भार थोपरेको छस्, तैंले मलाई आफ्ना दुष्ट कामहरू थकित बनाएको छस् ।
Thou hast bought me no sweet-smelling reed with silver, Neither hast thou satisfied me with the fat of thy sacrifices; With thy sins hast thou burdened me, And wearied me with thine iniquities.
25 हो, म, म उही हुँ जसले तेरा अपराधहरूलाई मेरो आफ्नै निम्ति मेटिदिनेछु । अनि तेरा पापहरूलाई म फेरि कदापि आफ्नो मनमा राख्नेछैनँ ।
I, I myself, blot out thy transgressions for my own sake, And will not remember thy sins.
26 जे भएको थियो मेरो निम्ति याद गर । हामी एकसाथ बहस गरौं । तेरो मुद्दा पेस गर्, ताकि तँ निर्दोष साबित हुन सक्छस् ।
Put me in remembrance; let us plead together; Speak that thou mayst justify thyself.
27 तेरो पहिलो बुबाले पाप गर्यो, अनि तेरा अगुवाहरूले मेरो विरुद्ध अपराद गरेका छन् ।
Thy forefathers sinned, And thy teachers were rebellious against me;
28 यसकारण म पवित्र अधिकारीहरूलाई अशुद्ध तुल्याउनेछु । म याकूबलाई पुर्ण विनाशको निम्ति र इस्राएललाई अपमानपुर्ण निन्दाको निम्ति सुम्पनेछु ।”
Therefore have I profaned the princes of the sanctuary, And given up Jacob to a curse, And Israel to reproach.
