यशैया 4

1 त्यस दिन सात जना स्‍त्रीले एक जना पुरुषलाई समात्‍नेछन् र भन्‍नेछन्, “हाम्रो आफ्‍नै खाना हामी खानेछौं, हाम्रो आफ्‍नै लुगा हामी लगाउनेछौं । तर हाम्रो लाज हटाउनलाई हामीलाई तपाईंको नाउँ लिन दिनुहोस् ।”

In that day shall seven women lay hold of one man saying: We will eat our own bread, And wear our own garments, Only let us be called by thy name, And take away our reproach!

2 त्यस दिन परमप्रभुको हाँगा सुन्दर र महिमित हुनेछ, अनि इस्राएलमा बाँकी रहेकाहरूका निम्ति, देशको फल स्वादिलो र अनन्ददायी हुनेछ ।

In that day shall the increase of Jehovah be glorious and honorable, And the fruit of the land excellent and beautiful, For them that have escaped of Israel.

3 सियोनमा बाँकी छोडिएकाहरू, र यरूशलेममा रहनेहरू पवित्र भनिनेछन्, हरेक जो यरूशलेममा बसिरहेको भनेर लिखिएको छ ।

All that remain in Zion, And all that are left in Jerusalem, Shall be called holy; Every one that is written down for life in Jerusalem.

4 जब परमप्रभुले सियोनकी छोरीहरूको मैला धुनुहुनेछ, र फैसलाको आत्मा र आगोको ज्‍वालाको आत्माले, यरूशलेमको माझबाट रगतका दाखहरू शुद्ध पार्नुहुनेछ, तब यसो हुनेछ ।

When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, And have removed the blood of Jerusalem from the midst of her, By a spirit of judgment and a spirit of destruction,

5 सम्‍पूर्ण सियोन पर्वतमाथि र त्यसको सभाको स्थानमाथि, परमप्रभुले दिनमा बादल, धूँवा, र रातमा बलिरहेको आगोको चम्कने ज्वाला सृजना गर्नुहुनेछ । यो नै सबै महिमामाथिको ढाक्‍ने कुरा हुनेछ ।

Then shall Jehovah create upon the whole extent of mount Zion, and upon her places of assembly, A cloud and smoke by day, And the brightness of a flaming fire by night; Yea, for all that is glorious there shall be a shelter;

6 दिनको तापबाट बच्‍नलाई यो नै सितल छहारी, र हुरी र झरीबाट बच्‍नलाई निम्ति शरण र छत्र हुनेछ ।

There shall be a tent by day for a shadow from the heat, And for a refuge and shelter from the storm and rain.
