यशैया 22
1 दर्शनको बेसीको विषयमा एउटा घोषणाः के कारणले तिमीहरू सबै जना घरको छतमाथि गएका छौ?
The burden of the valley of vision. What troubles thee now, that thou have wholly gone up to the housetops?
2 होहल्लाले भरिएको सहर र खुसीले भरिएको नगरका आवाजहरू सुन्नलाई तिमीहरूले त्यसो गरेका हौ? तिमीहरूका मृतहरू तरवारले मारिएको थिएनन् र तिनीहरू युद्धमा मरेनन् ।
O thou that are full of shoutings, a tumultuous city, a joyous town. Thy slain are not slain with the sword, nor are they dead in battle.
3 तिमीहरूका सबै शासकहरू एकसाथ भागे, तर धनु समेत प्रयोग नगरी तिनीहरू समातिए । तिनीहरू धेरै टाढा भागेका थिए तापनि तिनीहरू सबै जना एकसाथ समातिए ।
All thy rulers fled away together. They were bound by the archers. All who were found of thee were bound together; they fled afar off.
4 यसकारण मैले भनें, “मलाई नहेर, म धुरुधुरु रुनेछु । मेरा मानिसहरूका छोरीको विनाशको बारेमा मलाई सान्त्वना दिने कोसिस नगर ।”
Therefore I said, Look away from me. I will weep bitterly. Labor not to comfort me for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
5 किनकि दर्शनको बेसीमा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुको निम्ति कोलाहल, कुल्चिने अलमल पार्ने र पर्खालहरू भत्काउने र मानिसहरू डाँडाहरूतिर रुने दिन हो ।
For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity, from the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, in the valley of vision, a breaking down of the walls, and a crying to the mountains.
6 रथीहरू र घोडचढीहरूका साथमा एलामले ठोक्रो लिनेछ र कीरले ढाललाई नाङ्गो बनाउछ ।
And Elam bore the quiver, with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.
7 तेरा उत्तम बेसीहरू रथहरूले भरिनेछन् र घोडचढीहरूले ढोकाहरूमा आफ्ना ठाउँ ओगट्नेछन् ।
And it came to pass, that thy choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen set themselves in array at the gate.
8 उहाँले यहूदाको सुरक्षालाई हटाउनुभयो । तिमीहरूले त्यस दिन वनको महलमा हतियारहरू हेर्यौ ।
And he took away the covering of Judah, and thou looked in that day to the armor in the house of the forest.
9 तिमीहरूले दाऊदका सहरका प्वालहरू देख्यौ, ती धेरै थिए र तिमीहरूले तल्लो तलाउबाट पानी जम्मा गर्यौ ।
And ye saw the breaches of the city of David, that they were many. And to fortify the wall, ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool,
10 तिमीहरूले यरूशलेमा घरहरू गन्यौ र तिमीहरूले पर्खाललाई बलियो पार्न घरहरू भत्कायौ ।
and ye numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and ye broke down the houses.
11 तिमीहरूले पुरानो पानीलो तलाउको निम्ति पर्खालहरूको बिचमा एउटा जलाशय बनायौ । तर तिमीहरूले सहरको निर्माणकर्तालाई विचार गरेनौ, जसले धेरै पहिले नै यसको योजना गर्नुभएको थियो ।
Ye also made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But ye did not look to him who had done this, nor had ye respect to him who purposed it long ago.
12 त्यस दिन परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले रुन, विलाप गर्न, कपाल खौरन र भाङ्ग्रा लगाउनलाई बोलाउनुभयो ।
And in that day the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, called for weeping, and for mourning, and for baldness, and for girding with sackcloth.
13 तर त्यसको साटोमा हेर, उत्सव र खुसी, गाइवस्तु काट्ने र भेडाहरू मार्ने, मासु खाने र दाखमद्य पिउने गरियो । हामी खाऔं र पिऔं, किनकि भोलि हामी मर्नेछौं भन्दैछन् ।
And, behold, joy and gladness, slaying oxen and killing sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine. Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we shall die.
14 यो कुरा सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले मेरो कानमा प्रकट गर्नुभयोः “निश्चय नै यो अपराधको निम्ति मृत्युमा पनि तिमीहरूलाई क्षमा हुनेछैन,” परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु भन्नुहुन्छ ।
And Jehovah of hosts revealed himself in my ears, Surely this iniquity shall not be forgiven you till ye die, says the Lord, Jehovah of hosts.
15 परमप्रभु सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, “यो प्रशासक शेब्नाकहाँ जसले महलको रेखदेख गर्छ र भन्,
Thus says the Lord, Jehovah of hosts, Go, get thee to this treasurer, even to Shebna, who is over the house, and say,
16 'तैंले यहाँ के गरिरहेको छस्, अनि आफ्नो निम्ति चिहान खोप्न, उच्च टाउँमा चिहान खन्न र चट्टानमा विश्राम गर्ने ठाउँ कुँद्न तँलाई कसले अनुमति दियो?”
What are thou doing here? And whom have thou here, that thou have hewed thee out here a sepulcher? Hewing him out a sepulcher on high, carving a habitation for himself in the rock!
17 हेर्, परमप्रभुले तँलाई फाल्न लाग्नुभएको छ, ए शक्तिशाली मानिस, तँलाई फाल्न लाग्नुभएको छ । उहाँले तँलाई कसेर समात्नुहुनेछ ।
Behold, Jehovah, like a strong man, will hurl thee away violently. Yea, he will wrap thee up closely.
18 निश्चय नै उहाँले तँलाई हावामा फनफन घुमाउनुहुनेछ र ठुलो देशमा बल फालेझैं फाल्नुहुनेछ । तँ त्यहाँ नै मर्नेछस्, तेरा गौरवशालि रथहरू त्यहाँ हुनेछन् । तँ तेरो मालिकको महलमा तँ शर्ममा पर्नेछस् ।
He will surely wind thee round and round, tossing like a ball into a large country. There thou shall die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be, thou shame of thy lord's house.
19 तेरो अफिसबाट र तेरो ठाउँबाट तँलाई म निकाल्नेछु । तँ तल खसालिनेछस् ।
And I will thrust thee from thine office, and thou shall be pulled down from thy station.
20 त्यो दिन यस्तो हुनेछ, हिल्कियाहका छोरा मेरो सेवक एल्याकीमलाई म बोलाउनेछु ।
And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah.
21 तेरो अलखा म उसलाई लगाइदिनेछु र तेरो पटुका उसलाई बाँधिदिनेछु, तेरो अधिकार म उसको हातमा सुम्पिनेछु । यरूशलेमका बासिन्दाहरू र यहूदाका घरानाको निम्ति निम्ति ऊ नै पिता हुनेछ ।
And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy belt. And I will commit thy government into his hand, and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.
22 दाऊदको घरानाको साँचो म उसको काँधमा राख्नेछु । उसले खोल्नेछ र कसैले बन्द गर्नेछैन र कसैले खोल्नेछैन ।
And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, and he shall open, and none shall shut, and he shall shut, and none shall open.
23 म त्यसको निम्ति सुरक्षित स्थानमा एउटा किला गाड्नेछु र आफ्नो पिताको घरानाको निम्ति ऊ गौरवको आसन हुनेछ ।
And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place, and he shall be for a throne of glory to his father's house.
24 उसको घराना, सन्तानहरू र वंशको, हरेक सानो भाँडोदेखि कचौराहरू र गाग्रोहरूका गौरव तिनीहरूले उसमा नै राख्नेछन् ।
And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, every small vessel, from the cups even to all the flagons.
25 यो सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुको घोषणा हो— त्यो दिन सुरक्षित स्थानमा गडिएको किलाले ठाउँ छोड्नेछ, भाँचिनेछ र ढल्नेछ अनि त्यसमा भएको भार हटाइनेछ— किनकि परमप्रभुले भन्नुभएको छ ।
In that day, says Jehovah of hosts, the nail that was fastened in a sure place shall give way, and it shall be hewn down, and fall. And the burden that was upon it shall be cut off, for Jehovah has spoken it.
