यशैया 15
1 मोआबको बारेमा एउटा घोषणा । साँच्चै, मोआबको आरलाई एकै रातमा उजाड र नष्ट पारिन्छ । साँच्चै, मोआबको कीरलाई एकै रातमा उजाड र नष्ट पारिन्छ ।
The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought to silence;
2 तिनीहरू माथि मन्दिरमा गएका छन्, दीबोनका मानिसहरू रुनलाई अग्लो ठाउँमा गए । नेबोको निम्ति र मेदबाको निम्ति मोआबले विलाप गर्छ । तिनीहरूका सबै शिर खौरिएका छन् र तिनीहरूका सबै दाह्रीहरू काटिएका छन् ।
He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab shall howl over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
3 आफ्ना गल्लीहरूमा तिनीहरू भाङ्ग्रा लगाउँछन् । तिनीहरू घरका छतहरूमाथि र चोकहरूमा हरेकले आँसु बगाउँदै विलाप गर्छन् ।
In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall howl, weeping abundantly.
4 हेश्बोन र एलाले सहायताको निम्ति पुकारा गर्छन् । तिनीहरूको सोर यहसासम्म सुनिन्छ । यसरी मोआबका हतियारधारी मानिसहरूले सहायताको निम्ति पुकारा गर्छन् । तिनीहरू आफैभित्र त्रसित हुन्छन् ।
And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even to Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall be grievous to him.
5 मेरो मनले मोआबको निम्ति पुकारा गर्छ । त्यसका भगौडाहरू सोअर र एग्लत-शलीशियाहतिर भाग्छन् । तिनीहरू लूहीतको उकालोमा रुँदै जान्छन् । आफ्नो विनाशको निम्ति होरोनैमको बाटोमा तिनीहरू ठुलो सोरमा विलाप गर्छन् ।
My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee to Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction.
6 निम्रीमको पानीहरू सुख्खा भएका छन् । घाँस ओइलिएका छन् । हरियाली सुकेका छन् । त्यहाँ कुनै हरियो घाँस छैन ।
For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass fails, there is no green thing.
7 तिनीहरूले प्रशस्त उब्जनी गरेका कुरा र भण्डारण गरेका कुरा, तिनीहरू लहरे-पिपलहरूको खोलापारि लैजान्छन् ।
Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
8 चित्कार मोआबको इलाकभरि नै गएको छ । विलापचाहिं एग्लेम र बेअर-एलीससम्म पुगेको छ ।
For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof to Eglaim, and the howling thereof to Beerelim.
9 किनभने दीबोनका पानीहरू रगतले भरिएका छन् । तर म दीबोनमाथि अझ धेरै ल्याउनेछु । मोआबबाट भाग्ने र त्यो देशमा बस्नेमा समेत एउटा सिंहले आक्रमण गर्नेछ ।
For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more on Dimon, lions on him that escapes of Moab, and on the remnant of the land.
