यशैया 13
1 बेबिलोन बारेमा आमोजका छोरा यशैयाले प्राप्त गरेका घोषणाः
[the] oracle of Babylon which he saw Isaiah [the] son of Amoz.
2 नाङ्गो पहाडमाथि चिन्हका झण्डाहरू खडा गर, तिनका निम्ति उच्च सोरले कराओ, भारदारहरूका ढोकाहरूमा जानलाई हातले इशारा गर ।
On a mountain swept bare lift up a standard lift up a voice to them wave a hand so they may go [the] doors of noble [people].
3 मेरो पवित्र जनलाई मैले आज्ञा गरेको छु, हो, मेरो क्रोध पुरा गर्न आफ्ना शक्तिशाली मानिसहरूलाई, गर्भका साथ आनन्दित हुने मेरो जनलाई समेत मैले बोलाएको छु ।
I I have commanded to consecrated [ones] my also I have summoned warriors my to anger my [the] exultant [ones] of pride my.
4 पर्वतहरूमा एउटा भीडको जस्तो धेरै जना मानिसहरूको हल्ला! धेरै जातिहरू भेला भएका राज्यहरूको होहल्लाको आवाज! सर्वशक्तिमान् परमप्रभुले युद्धका निम्ति फौज भेला पार्दै हुनुहुन्छ ।
[the] sound of A tumult [is] on the mountains [the] likeness of a people numerous [the] sound of an uproar of kingdoms of nations gathering Yahweh of hosts [is] mustering an army of battle.
5 तिनीहरू टाढा देशहरूबाट, क्षितिज परको बाटोबाट आउँछन् । परमप्रभुले आफ्नो न्यायको माध्यामले सम्पूर्ण देशलाई नाश गर्नुहुन्छ ।
[they are] coming From a land of distance from [the] end of the heavens Yahweh and [the] weapons of indignation his to destroy all the land.
6 डाँको छोडेर रोओ, किनकि परमप्रभुको दिन नजिकै छ । यो सर्वशक्तिमान्बाट विनाशसँगै आउँछ ।
Wail for [is] near [the] day of Yahweh like devastation from [the] Almighty it will come.
7 यसकारण सबै हात कमजोर हुन्छन् र हरेक मुटुले ठाउँ छोड्छ ।
There-fore all hands they will drop and every heart of a person it will melt.
8 तिनीहरू त्रसित हुनेछन् । प्रसव वेदनामा परेकी स्त्रलाई झै तिनीहरूलाई पीडा र वेदनाले समात्छ । तिनीहरूले चकित हुँदै एकअर्कालाई हेर्नेछन् । तिनीहरूका अनुहारहरू राता हुनेछन् ।
And they will be terrified - pangs and pains they will seize [them]! like [woman] giving birth they will be in anguish! each to neighbor his they will look in astonishment [will be] faces of flames faces their.
9 हेर, देशलाई विनाश पार्न र त्यसबाट पापीहरूलाई नाश पार्न, परमप्रभुको दिन निर्दयी क्रोध र प्रचूर रिस लिएर आउँछ ।
There! [the] day of Yahweh [is] coming a cruel [day] and wrath and burning of anger to make the land a waste and sinners its he will destroy from it.
10 आकाशका ताराहरू र तारा पुन्जहरूले आफ्ना प्रकाश दिनेछैनन् । बिहानैदेखि सूर्य नै अध्याँरो हुनेछ र चन्द्रमा चम्कनेछैन ।
For [the] stars of the heavens and constellations their not they will flash forth light their it will be dark the sun when goes forth it and [the] moon not it will make shine light its.
11 संसारलाई त्यसको दुष्टताको निम्ति अनि दुष्टहरूलाई तिनीहरूका अपराधको निम्ति म सजाय दिनेछु । घमण्डीको अहङ्कारलाई म अन्त गर्नेछु र निर्दयीको अहङ्कारलाई तल खसाल्नेछु ।
And I will visit on [the] world evil and on wicked [people] iniquity their and I will put an end to [the] pride of arrogant [people] and [the] haughtiness of ruthless [people] I will bring low.
12 मानिसहरूलाई निखुर सुनभन्दा पनि दुर्लभ र मानवजाति भेट्न ओपीरको शुद्ध सुनभन्दा पनि कठिन म बनाउनेछु ।
I will make precious humankind more than pure gold and humankind more than [the] gold of Ophir.
13 यसकारण सर्वशक्तिमान् परमभुको डरलाग्दो क्रोध र उहाँको प्रचण्ड रिसको दिनमा, आकाशलाई म हल्लाउनेछु, र पृथ्वी आफ्नो ठाउँमा हल्लिनेछ ।
There-fore heaven I will make tremble and it may shake the earth from place its in [the] wrath of Yahweh of hosts and in [the] day of [the] burning of anger his.
14 लखेटिएको हरिण वा गठालो नभएको भेडाझैं, हरेक मानिस आफ्ना मानिसतिर फर्कनेछ र आफ्नै देशतिर भाग्नेछ ।
And it will be like a gazelle hunted and like sheep and there not [will be one who] gathers everyone to own people his they will turn and everyone to own land his they will flee.
15 भेट्टाइएका हरेक व्यक्तिलाई मारिनेछ र कब्जा गरिएका हरेक व्यक्ति तरवारले मर्नेछ ।
Every [one who] is found he will be pierced through and every [one who] is captured he will fall by the sword.
16 तिनीहरू दूधे बालकहरूलाई पनि तिनीहरूकै आँखाको सामु पछारेर टुक्रा-टुक्रा पारिनेछ । तिनीहरूका घरहरू लुटिनेछ र तिनीहरूका पत्नीहरूलाई बलत्कार गरिनेछ ।
And children their they will be dashed in pieces to eyes their they will be plundered houses their and wives their (they will be lain with. *Q(K)*)
17 हेर, तिनीहरूलाई आक्रमण गर्न मैले मादीहरूलाई उक्साउनै लागेको छु, जसले चाँदीको ख्याल गर्दैनन् न त तिनीहरू सुनमा नै खुसी हुन्छन् ।
Here I [am] about to rouse on them Media who silver not they value and gold not they delight in it.
18 तिनीहरूका धनुले जवान मानिसहरूलाई प्रहार गर्नेछ । तिनीहरूले दूधे बालकहरूलाई दया देखाउँदैनन् र तिनीहरूले बालबालिकालाई दया देखाउँदैनन् ।
And bows youths they will dash in pieces and [the] fruit of [the] womb not they will have compassion on on children not it will look with pity eye their.
19 त्यसपछि राज्यहरूमध्ये धेरै प्रशंसा गरिएको कल्दीहरूका गौरवको वैभव बेबिलोनलाई, परमेश्वरले सदोम र गमोरालाई झैं नष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ ।
And it will be Babylon [the] beauty of kingdoms [the] splendor of [the] pride of [the] Chaldeans like [the] overthrow of God Sodom and Gomorrah.
20 पुस्तौं-पुस्तासम्म त्यसमा कोही बसोवास गर्नेछैनन् । अरबीले त्यहाँ आफ्नो पाल टाँग्नेछैन, न त गोठालाहरूले आफ्ना बगालहरूलाई त्यहाँ विश्राम गराउनेछन् ।
Not it will remain to perpetuity and not it will settle until a generation and a generation and not he will pitch a tent there an Arab and shepherds not they will make lie down there.
21 तर मरूभुमिका जङ्गली पशुहरू त्यहाँ बस्नेछन् । तिनीहरूका घरहरू लाटोकोसेराले भरिनेछन् । सुतुर्मुगहरू र घोरलहरू त्यहाँ उफ्रनेछन् ।
And they will lie down there desert-dwellers and they will be full houses their jackals and they will dwell there daughters of an ostrich and goats they will leap about there.
22 तिनीहरूका किल्लाहरूमा हुँडारहरू कराउनेछन् र तिनीहरूका सुन्दर दरबारहरूमा स्यालहरू हुनेछन् । त्यसको समय नजिकै छ र त्यसका दिनहरू बिलम्व हुनेछैनन् ।
And it will sing hyenas in palaces its and jackals in [the] palaces of delight and [is] near to go time its and days its not they will be prolonged.
