होशे 7
1 मैले इस्राएललाई निको पार्ने इच्छा गर्दा, एफ्राइमको पाप र सामरियाका दुष्ट कामहरू प्रकट हुन्छन्, किनकि तिनीहरू धोकापूर्ण काम गर्छन् । एक जना चोर भित्र प्रवेश गर्छ, र डाँकूहरूको समुहले सडकमा आक्रमण गर्छ ।
When I would heal Israel, then is the iniquity of Ephraim uncovered, and the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief entereth in, and the troop of robbers ravageth without.
2 तिनीहरूका सबै दुष्ट कामलाई मैले याद गर्छु, भनी तिनीहरूले आफ्नो हृदयहरूमा महसुस नै गर्दैनन् । अब तिनीहरूका कामहरूले तिनीहरूलाई नै घेर्छन् । ती मेरो अनुहारको सामु छन् ।
And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now have their own doings beset them about; they are before my face.
3 तिनीहरूले आफ्ना दुष्टताले राजालाई, र आफ्ना झुटले अधिकारीहरूलाई खुशी बनाउँछन् ।
They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
4 रोटी बनाउनेले तताएको तावाजस्तै, जसले पिठो मुछेर नफुलेसम्म आगो बाल्दैन, तिनीहरू सबै व्यभिचारीहरू हुन् ।
They are all adulterers; they are as an oven heated by the baker; he ceaseth to stir [the fire], from the kneading of the dough, until it be leavened.
5 हाम्रा राजाको दिनमा अधिकारीहरूले आफैंलाई दाखमद्यको मातले बिरामी पार्छन् । ठट्टा गर्नेहरूसँग उसले आफ्नो हात मिलायो ।
On the day of our king the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine; he stretched out his hand with scoffers.
6 किनकि एउटा तावाजस्तो हृदयहरूले, तिनीहरू आफ्ना छलपूर्ण योजना बनाउँछन् । तिनीहरूको रिस रातभरि दन्किन्छ । बिहान त्यो ज्वालामय आगोझैं बल्दछ ।
For they have made ready their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait: their baker sleepeth all the night; in the morning it burneth as a flaming fire.
7 तिनीहरू सबै तावाजस्तै तातो छन्, र आफूमाथि शासन गर्नेलाई तिनीहरू भस्म पार्छन् । तिनीहरूका सबै राजा पतित भएका छन् । तीमध्ये कसैले मलाई पुकारा गर्दैनन् ।
They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges; all their kings are fallen: there is none among them that calleth unto me.
8 एफ्राइमले आफैंलाई अरू मानिसहरूसँग मिसाएको छ । नफर्काइएको रोटीजस्तै एफ्राइम छ ।
Ephraim, he mixeth himself among the peoples; Ephraim is a cake not turned.
9 परदेशीहरूले उसको शक्तिलाई नष्ट गरेको छ, तर उसलाई त्यो थाहा नै छैन । उसमा यताउता केश फुलेका छन्, तर उसलाई त्यो थाहा छैन ।
Strangers have devoured his strength, and he knoweth [it] not: yea, gray hairs are here and there upon him, and he knoweth [it] not.
10 इस्राएलको घमण्डले आफ्नै विरुद्ध गवाही दिन्छ, तापनि तिनीहरू परमप्रभु आफ्ना परमेश्वरतिर फर्केका छैनन्, न त यी सबै कुरापछि पनि तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई खोजेका छन् ।
And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: yet they have not returned unto Jehovah their God, nor sought him, for all this.
11 एफ्राइमचाहिं सजिलै छकाउन सकिने र विवेकहीन ढुकुरजस्तो छ, मिश्रदेशलाई पुकारा गर्दैछ, त्यसपछि अश्शूरतिर उड्दैछ ।
And Ephraim is like a silly dove, without understanding: they call unto Egypt, they go to Assyria.
12 जब तिनीहरू जान्छन्, तब तिनीहरूमाथि म आफ्नो जाल फैलाउनेछु, आकाशका चराहरूझैं तिनीहरूलाई म तल खसाल्नेछु । तिनीहरू एकसाथ जम्मा हुँदा म तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।
When they shall go, I will spread my net upon them; I will bring them down as the birds of the heavens; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
13 तिनीहरूलाई धिक्कार छ! किनकि तिनीहरू मबाट टाढा बहकिएका छन् । तिनीहरूमाथि विनाश आउँदै छ! तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्ध विद्रोह गरेका छन्! मैले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउन सक्थें, तर तिनीहरूले मेरो विरुद्धमा झुट बोले ।
Woe unto them! for they have wandered from me; destruction unto them! for they have trespassed against me: though I would redeem them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
14 आफ्ना सारा हृदयले, तिनीहरूले मसँग पुकारा गरेका छैनन्, तर आफ्ना ओछ्यानमा तिनीहरू विलाप गर्छन् । अन्न, र नयाँ दाखमद्यको निम्ति तिनीहरू एकसाथ भेला हुन्छन्, र तिनीहरू मबाट टाढा जान्छन् ।
And they have not cried unto me with their heart, but they howl upon their beds: they assemble themselves for grain and new wine; they rebel against me.
15 मैले तिनीहरूलाई तालिम दिएँ र तिनीहरूका पाखुराहरूलाई सशक्त बनाएँ, तापनि अहिले तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा नै खराब षड्यन्त्र रच्छन् ।
Though I have taught and strengthened their arms, yet do they devise mischief against me.
16 तिनीहरू फर्कन्छन्, तर म, अर्थात् सर्वोच्चतिर भने फर्कंदैनन् । तिनीहरू धोका दिने धनुझैं छन् । आफ्ना जिब्रोको निर्लज्जताका कारणले, तिनीहरूका अधिकारीहरू तरवारले मारिनेछन् । मिश्रदेशमा यही तिनीहरूको उपहास हुनेछ ।
They return, but not to [him that is] on high; they are like a deceitful bow; their princes shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt.
