होशे 5
1 “ए पुजारीहरू हो, यो कुरा सुन! ए इस्राएलको घराना, ध्यान देओ! ए राजाको घराना, सुन! किनकि तिमीहरू सबैका विरुद्ध न्याय आउँदैछ । तिमीहरू मिस्पामा पासो, र तबोरमाथि फैलिएको जाल भएका छौ ।
Hear this, O ye priests, and hearken, ye house of Israel, and give ear, O house of the king, for unto you pertain the judgment; for ye have been a snare at Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
2 विद्रोहीहरू मारकाटमा साह्रै नै संलग्न हुन्छन्, तर म तिनीहरू सबैलाई दण्ड दिनेछु ।
And the revolters are gone deep in making slaughter; but I am a rebuker of them all.
3 एफ्राइम र इस्राएल मबाट लुकेका छैनन् भनी म जान्दछु । ए एफ्राइम, तँ अब वेश्याझैं भएको छस् । इस्राएल अपवित्र पारिएको छ ।
I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou hast committed whoredom, Israel is defiled.
4 तिनीहरूका कामहरूले तिनीहरूलाई परमेश्वरतर्फ फर्कन दिंदैनन्, किनकि तिनीहरूमा व्यभिचारको मन छ, र तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुलाई चिन्दैनन् ।
Their doings will not suffer them to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredom is within them, and they know not the LORD.
5 इस्राएलको घमण्डले उसकै विरुद्ध गवाही दिन्छ । यसैले इस्राएल र एफ्राइम आफ्नै दोषमा ठेस खानेछन्, र यहूदा पनि तिनीहरूसँगै ठेस खानेछ ।
And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall stumble in their iniquity; Judah also shall stumble with them.
6 आफ्ना बगाल र बथानसँग परमप्रभुको खोजी गर्न तिनीहरू जानेछन्, तर तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई भेट्टाउने छैनन्, किनकि उहाँले आफैंलाई तिनीहरूबाट टाढा लानुभएको छ ।
They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
7 तिनीहरू परमप्रभुप्रति विश्वासघाती भए, किनकि तिनीहरूले अवैधानिक छोराछोरी जन्माएका छन् । अब औंसीका पर्वहरूले तिनीहरूका भूमिसँगै तिनीहरूलाई पनि निलिदिनेछ ।
They have dealt treacherously against the LORD; for they have borne strange children: now shall the new moon devour them with their fields.
8 गिबामा तुरही र रामामा बिगुल फुक । बेथ-आवनमा युद्ध-ध्वनि बजाओः ‘ए बेन्यामीन, हामी तेरो पछि लाग्छौं!’
Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: sound an alarm at Beth-aven; behind thee, O Benjamin.
9 न्यायको दिनमा एफ्राइम निर्जन हुनेछ । इस्राएलका कुलहरू बिचमा निश्चय हुन आउने कुरा मैले घोषणा गरेको छु ।
Ephraim shall become a desolation in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10 यहूदाका अगुवाहरू त्यस्ता हुन् जसले सिमानाको ढुङ्गा सार्छ । पानी खन्याएझैं तिनीहरूमाथि म आफ्नो क्रोध खन्याउनेछु ।
The princes of Judah are like them that remove the landmark: I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
11 एफ्राइम कुल्चिएको छ, त्यो न्यायमा कुल्चिएको छ, किनभने त्यो आफ्नै इच्छामा मूर्तिहरूको पछि लागेको छ ।
Ephraim is oppressed, he is crushed in judgment; because he was content to walk after the command.
12 यसैले एफ्राइमको निम्ति म कपडा काट्ने किराझैं हुनेछु र यहूदाको घरानाको निम्ति सडाउने कुराझैं हुनेछु ।
Therefore am I unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
13 जब एफ्राइमले आफ्नो रोग देख्यो, र यहूदाले आफ्नो घाउ देख्यो, तब एफ्राइम अश्शूरमा गयो, र यहूदाले महान् राजाकहाँ सन्देशवाहक पठायो । तर त्यसले तेरा मानिसहरूलाई निको पार्न वा तिमीहरूका घाउ निको पार्न सकेन ।
When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah [saw] his wound, then went Ephraim to Assyria, and sent to king Jareb: but he is not able to heal you, neither shall he cure you of your wound.
14 यसैले एफ्राइमको निम्ति म सिंहझैं हुनेछु, र यहूदाको घरानाको निम्ति जवान सिंहझैं हुनेछु । मैले नै तिनीहरूलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछु र जानेछु । म तिनीहरूलाई बोकेर लानेछु, र तिनीहरूलाई बचाउने कोही पनि हुनेछैन ।
For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will carry off, and there shall be none to deliver.
15 तिनीहरूले आफ्ना दोष स्वीकार गरेर मेरो खोजी नगरेसम्म, र आफ्ना दु: खको समयमा मलाई तत्परतासाथ नखोजेसम्म, म जानेछु र आफ्नै ठाउँमा फर्कनेछु ।”
I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.
