होशे 14
1 ए इस्राएल, परमप्रभु आफ्ना परमेश्वरकहाँ फर्क, किनकि आफ्ना अपराधको कारणले तिमीहरू पतित भएका छौ ।
Return, O Israel, even unto the Lord thy God; for thou hast stumbled through thy iniquity.
2 आफ्नो साथमा वचन लेओ र परमप्रभुकहाँ फर्क । उहाँलाई भन, “हाम्रा सबै अपराध क्षमा गर्नुहोस् र जे असल छ त्यो ग्रहण गर्नुहोस्, ताकि तपाईंलाई हामी आफ्ना ओठको फल चढाउन सकौं ।
Take with you swords, and return to the Lord: say unto him, “Pardon all [our] iniquity, and accept [our return to] good; and let us repay the steers [of sacrifice] with [the prayer of] our lips.
3 अश्शूरले हामीलाई बचाउनेछैन । हामी युद्ध गर्नलाई घोडाहरूमा सवार हुनेछैनौं । न त आफ्ना हातले बनाएका कुरालाई हामी यसो भन्नेछौं, ‘तपाईं हाम्रा देवता हुनुहुन्छ,’ किनकि तपाईंमा नै टुहुरोले दया पाउँछ ।”
Asshur shall not help us; upon horses will we not ride: and we will no more say, Ye are our gods, to the work of our hands; for in thee alone the fatherless obtaineth mercy.”
4 “तिनीहरू तर्केका भए पनि म निको पार्नेछु, म तिनीहरूलाई सित्तैंमा प्रेम गर्नेछु, किनकि त्यसप्रतिको मेरो रिस मरेको छ ।
I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
5 इस्राएलको निम्ति म शीतझैं हुनेछु । लिली फूलझैं त्यो फुल्नेछ र लेबनानको देवदारुझैं त्यसले जरा गाड्नेछ ।
I will be as the dew unto Israel: he shall bloom as the lily; and he shall strike his roots as [the forests of] Lebanon.
6 त्यसका हाँगाहरू फैलिनेछन् । त्यसको सुन्दरता जैतूनको रूखझैं हुनेछ, र त्यसको सुगन्ध लेबनानको देवदारुझैं हुनेछ ।
His suckers shall spread out, and his beauty shall be as that of the olive-tree, and his smell as that of the Lebanon.
7 त्यसको छहारीमा बस्ने मानिसहरू फर्कनेछन् । तिनीहरू अन्नझैं बढ्नेछन् र दाखको बोटझैं फुल्नेछन् । त्यसको ख्याति लेबनानको दाखमद्यझैं हुनेछ ।
They shall return that sat under his shade; they shall revive as corn, and bloom as the vine: the scent of which shall be as that of the wine of Lebanon.
8 ए एफ्राइम, मूर्तिहरूसँग मेरो अरू के काम छ? म त्यसलाई जवाफ दिनेछु र त्यसको वास्ता गर्नेछु । म सल्लोको रूखझैं हुँ, जसका पातहरू सधैं हरिया हुन्छन्, र मबाट नै तेरो फल आउँछ ।”
Ephraim [shall say], What have I to do any more with idols? I have answered, and will observe him; I will be [to him] like a green fir-tree; through me is thy fruit found.
9 को बुद्धिमान छ, जसले यी कुराहरू बुझ्न सक्छ? कसले कुराहरू बुझ्छ जसले गर्दा उसले ती जान्न सक्छ? किनकि परमप्रभुका मार्गहरू ठिक हुन्छन्, र धर्मीचाहिं तिनमा हिँड्छन्, तर विद्रोह गर्नेहरूचाहिं तिनमा ठेस खानेछन् ।
Who is wise, that he may understand these things? intelligent, that he may know them? for righteous are the ways of the Lord; and the just shall walk in them; but the transgressors will stumble through them.
