हिब्रू 4
1 यसकारण, हामी निकै होसियार होऔँ ताकि हामीमध्ये कोही पनि परमेश्वरको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्ने प्रतिज्ञा हुँदा हुँदै विश्राम गर्नदेखि वञ्चित हुन नपरोस् ।
Therefore, let us be very careful so that none of you might seem to have failed to reach the promise left behind for you to enter God's rest.
2 किनभने तिनीहरूलाई जस्तै हामीलाई पनि सुसमाचार सुनाइएको थियो । तर सुनेको वचनले तिनीहरूलाई कुनै पनि फाइदा भएन । किनकि सुन्नेहरूले विश्वाससाथ स्वीकार गरेनन् । (नोटः अरू संस्करणमा पढ्छौँ) तर त्यो सन्देश सुन्नेहरू जसले विश्वासविना नै सहभागी भए तिनीहरूलाई फाइदा भएन ।
For we were told the good news just as they were. But that message did not benefit those who did not unite in faith with those who obeyed.
3 किनकि हामी जसले विश्वास गरेका छौँ त्यस विश्राममा हामी प्रवेश गर्नेछौँ, जसरी उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “जसरी मैले मेरो क्रोधमा शपथ खाएँ, ‘तिनीहरू कहिल्यै मेरो विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्नेछैनन्’ ।” उहाँले यसो भन्नुभयो, यद्यपि संसारको उत्पत्तिमा नै उहाँका सृष्टिका कामहरू पुरा भइसकेका थिए ।
For we who have believed enter that rest, just as he said, “As I swore in my wrath, They will never enter my rest.” Even so, his works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 किनकि सातौँ दिनको विषयमा उहाँले केही भन्नुभएको छ, “परमेश्वरले सातौँ दिनमा आफ्ना सबै कामबाट विश्राम लिनुभयो ।”
For he has somewhere spoken about the seventh day: “And God rested on the seventh day from all his works.”
5 फेरि उहाँले भन्नुभएको छ, “तिनीहरू मेरो विश्राममा कहिल्यै प्रवेश गर्नेछैनन् ।”
And again in this same passage he said, “They will never enter my rest.”
6 त्यसकारण, उहाँको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्न अझै कसैका लागि बाँकी नै छ, र धेरै इस्राएलीहरूले सुसमाचार सुने, तर तिनीहरूले आज्ञापालन नगरेको कारण यस विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्न सकेनन् ।
Therefore, because it is still reserved for some to enter his rest, and since many Israelites who heard the good news did not enter it because of disobedience,
7 “आज” भनेर परमेश्वरले फेरि एउटा निश्चित दिन ठहराउनुभएको छ । धेरै दिनपछि उहाँ दाऊदद्वारा बोल्नुभयो, जसरी यो अगिबाटै भनिएको थियो, “आज तिमीहरूले उहाँको आवाजलाई सुन्यौ भने, तिमीहरूका हृदय कठोर नपार ।”
God has again set a certain day calling it “Today.” After many days, he spoke through David, as it was earlier said, “Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts.”
8 किनकि यदि यहोशूले तिनीहरूलाई विश्राम दिएका भए, परमेश्वरले अर्को दिनको विषयमा बोल्नुहुने थिएन ।
For if Joshua had given them rest, God would not have spoken about another day.
9 यसकारण, परमेश्वरका मानिसहरूका निम्ति एउटा विश्राम दिनको विश्राम अझै बाँकी छ ।
Therefore there is still a Sabbath rest reserved for God's people.
10 किनकि जसले परमेश्वरको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्दछ, त्यो आफैँले पनि आफ्ना कामहरूबाट विश्राम लिन्छ, जसरी परमेश्वरले उहाँका कामहरूबाट विश्राम लिनुभयो ।
For he who enters into God's rest has himself also rested from his deeds, just as God did from his.
11 त्यसकारण, हामी त्यस विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्नका निम्ति प्रयत्न गरौँ, ताकि कोही पनि त्यस प्रकारको अनाज्ञाकारितामा नपरोस् जसरी तिनीहरू परे ।
Therefore let us be eager to enter that rest, so that no one will fall into the kind of disobedience that they did.
12 किनभने परमेश्वरको वचन जीवित र क्रियाशील अनि दुईधारे तरवारभन्दा पनि धारिलो छ । यसले आत्मा, प्राण र मासीलाई अलग गर्दछ र छेड्दछ अनि यो हृदयका भावना र विचारहरूको जाँच गर्न सक्षम छ ।
For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword. It pierces even to the division of soul from spirit, and joints from marrow. It is able to know the heart's thoughts and intentions.
13 सृष्टिको कुनै पनि थोक परमेश्वरको दृष्टिमा लुकेको छैन । बरु, उहाँको दृष्टिमा हरेक कुरा छर्लङ्गै छ जसलाई हामीले लेखा दिनुपर्छ ।
Nothing created is hidden before God. Instead, everything is bare and open to the eyes of the one to whom we must give account.
14 त्यसकारण, हामीसँग महान् प्रधान पुजारी हुनुहुन्छ जो स्वर्ग भएर जानुभएको छ । उहाँ परमेश्वरका पुत्र येशू हुनुहुन्छ । तसर्थ, हामी हाम्रो विश्वासलाई दृढतासाथ थामिराखौँ ।
Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us firmly hold to our beliefs.
15 किनकि हामीसँग हाम्रा कमजोरीहरूमा हामीलाई सान्त्वना दिन नसक्ने एक जना प्रधान पुजारी हुनुहुन्न । त्यसको सट्टामा, हामीसँग एक जना हुनुहुन्छ जो हामीजस्तै परीक्षामा भएर जानुभयो, तरै पनि उहाँ पापरहित हुनुहुन्छ ।
For we do not have a high priest who cannot feel sympathy for our weaknesses. Instead, we have someone who has in all ways been tempted as we are, except that he is without sin.
16 तब हामी परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहको सिंहासनमा साहसपूर्वक जाऔँ, ताकि खाँचोको समयमा हामीले कृपा र अनुग्रह पाउन सकौँ ।
Let us then go with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
