हिब्रू 4
1 यसकारण, हामी निकै होसियार होऔँ ताकि हामीमध्ये कोही पनि परमेश्वरको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्ने प्रतिज्ञा हुँदा हुँदै विश्राम गर्नदेखि वञ्चित हुन नपरोस् ।
Let vs feare therefore, least at any time by forsaking the promise of entring into his rest, any of you should seeme to be depriued.
2 किनभने तिनीहरूलाई जस्तै हामीलाई पनि सुसमाचार सुनाइएको थियो । तर सुनेको वचनले तिनीहरूलाई कुनै पनि फाइदा भएन । किनकि सुन्नेहरूले विश्वाससाथ स्वीकार गरेनन् । (नोटः अरू संस्करणमा पढ्छौँ) तर त्यो सन्देश सुन्नेहरू जसले विश्वासविना नै सहभागी भए तिनीहरूलाई फाइदा भएन ।
For vnto vs was the Gospel preached as also vnto them: but the worde that they heard, profited not them, because it was not mixed with faith in those that heard it.
3 किनकि हामी जसले विश्वास गरेका छौँ त्यस विश्राममा हामी प्रवेश गर्नेछौँ, जसरी उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “जसरी मैले मेरो क्रोधमा शपथ खाएँ, ‘तिनीहरू कहिल्यै मेरो विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्नेछैनन्’ ।” उहाँले यसो भन्नुभयो, यद्यपि संसारको उत्पत्तिमा नै उहाँका सृष्टिका कामहरू पुरा भइसकेका थिए ।
For we which haue beleeued, doe enter into rest, as he said to the other, As I haue sworne in my wrath, If they shall enter into my rest: although the workes were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 किनकि सातौँ दिनको विषयमा उहाँले केही भन्नुभएको छ, “परमेश्वरले सातौँ दिनमा आफ्ना सबै कामबाट विश्राम लिनुभयो ।”
For he spake in a certaine place of the seuenth day on this wise, And God did rest the seuenth day from all his workes.
5 फेरि उहाँले भन्नुभएको छ, “तिनीहरू मेरो विश्राममा कहिल्यै प्रवेश गर्नेछैनन् ।”
And in this place againe, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 त्यसकारण, उहाँको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्न अझै कसैका लागि बाँकी नै छ, र धेरै इस्राएलीहरूले सुसमाचार सुने, तर तिनीहरूले आज्ञापालन नगरेको कारण यस विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्न सकेनन् ।
Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter thereinto, and they to whom it was first preached, entred not therein for vnbeliefes sake:
7 “आज” भनेर परमेश्वरले फेरि एउटा निश्चित दिन ठहराउनुभएको छ । धेरै दिनपछि उहाँ दाऊदद्वारा बोल्नुभयो, जसरी यो अगिबाटै भनिएको थियो, “आज तिमीहरूले उहाँको आवाजलाई सुन्यौ भने, तिमीहरूका हृदय कठोर नपार ।”
Againe he appointed in Dauid a certaine day, by To day, after so long a time, saying, as it is sayd, This day, if ye heare his voyce, harden not your hearts.
8 किनकि यदि यहोशूले तिनीहरूलाई विश्राम दिएका भए, परमेश्वरले अर्को दिनको विषयमा बोल्नुहुने थिएन ।
For if Iesus had giuen them rest, then would he not after this haue spoke of an other day.
9 यसकारण, परमेश्वरका मानिसहरूका निम्ति एउटा विश्राम दिनको विश्राम अझै बाँकी छ ।
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 किनकि जसले परमेश्वरको विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्दछ, त्यो आफैँले पनि आफ्ना कामहरूबाट विश्राम लिन्छ, जसरी परमेश्वरले उहाँका कामहरूबाट विश्राम लिनुभयो ।
For he that is entred into his rest, hath also ceased from his owne works, as God did from his.
11 त्यसकारण, हामी त्यस विश्राममा प्रवेश गर्नका निम्ति प्रयत्न गरौँ, ताकि कोही पनि त्यस प्रकारको अनाज्ञाकारितामा नपरोस् जसरी तिनीहरू परे ।
Let vs studie therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same ensample of disobedience.
12 किनभने परमेश्वरको वचन जीवित र क्रियाशील अनि दुईधारे तरवारभन्दा पनि धारिलो छ । यसले आत्मा, प्राण र मासीलाई अलग गर्दछ र छेड्दछ अनि यो हृदयका भावना र विचारहरूको जाँच गर्न सक्षम छ ।
For the worde of God is liuely, and mightie in operation, and sharper then any two edged sword, and entreth through, euen vnto the diuiding asunder of the soule and the spirit, and of the ioints, and the marow, and is a discerner of the thoughtes, and the intents of the heart.
13 सृष्टिको कुनै पनि थोक परमेश्वरको दृष्टिमा लुकेको छैन । बरु, उहाँको दृष्टिमा हरेक कुरा छर्लङ्गै छ जसलाई हामीले लेखा दिनुपर्छ ।
Neither is there any creature, which is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and open vnto his eyes, with whome we haue to doe.
14 त्यसकारण, हामीसँग महान् प्रधान पुजारी हुनुहुन्छ जो स्वर्ग भएर जानुभएको छ । उहाँ परमेश्वरका पुत्र येशू हुनुहुन्छ । तसर्थ, हामी हाम्रो विश्वासलाई दृढतासाथ थामिराखौँ ।
Seeing then that wee haue a great hie Priest, which is entred into heauen, euen Iesus the Sonne of God, let vs holde fast our profession.
15 किनकि हामीसँग हाम्रा कमजोरीहरूमा हामीलाई सान्त्वना दिन नसक्ने एक जना प्रधान पुजारी हुनुहुन्न । त्यसको सट्टामा, हामीसँग एक जना हुनुहुन्छ जो हामीजस्तै परीक्षामा भएर जानुभयो, तरै पनि उहाँ पापरहित हुनुहुन्छ ।
For we haue not an hie Priest, which can not be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all things tempted in like sort, yet without sinne.
16 तब हामी परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहको सिंहासनमा साहसपूर्वक जाऔँ, ताकि खाँचोको समयमा हामीले कृपा र अनुग्रह पाउन सकौँ ।
Let vs therefore goe boldly vnto ye throne of grace, that we may receiue mercy, and finde grace to helpe in time of neede.
