हिब्रू 12
1 यसकारण, हामी यतिका धेरै साक्षीहरूका बादलले घेरिएका हुनाले हर प्रकारका बोझ र हामीलाई सजिलैसित अल्झाउने पापलाई पन्छाऔँ । हाम्रा अघि राखिदिएको दौडलाई धैर्यसाथ दोडौँ ।
THEREFORE also seeing we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, laying aside every weight, and that most easily besetting sin, let us run with patience the race lying before us,
2 विश्वासका कर्ता र सिद्ध तुल्याउनुहुने येशूमा हामीले हाम्रा आँखा केन्द्रित गरौँ, जसले आफ्नो सामुन्ने राखिएको आनन्दको लागि अपमान सहनुभयो र क्रुसको दुःख भोग्नुभयो, अनि उहाँ परमेश्वरको सिंहासनको दाहिनेपट्टि विराजमान हुनुभएको छ ।
earnestly looking up to Jesus the author and the finisher of faith; who, for the joy set before him, endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 त्यसैले, पापीहरूबाट उहाँको विरुद्धमा भएका वादविवाद सहनुहुनेलाई विचार गर । त्यसकारण, तिमीहरू आफ्ना हृदयमा शिथिल नहोओ र हरेस नखाओ ।
Consider then attentively him that endured from sinners such opposition against himself, that ye be not wearied out, fainting in your souls.
4 तिमीहरूले पापको विरुद्धमा अझसम्म रगत बगाउनुपर्ने अवस्था आएको छैन वा यसको लागि सङ्घर्ष गर्नुपरेको छैन ।
As yet ye have not resisted unto blood, struggling against sin.
5 अनि तिमीहरूलाई छोराहरूसरह उत्साह दिने अर्तीलाई तिमीहरूले भुलेका छौः “हे मेरो छोरा, परमेश्वरको अनुशासनलाई हलुका नसम्झ । जब उहाँद्वारा तिमी सुधारिन्छौ, तब हरेस नखाऊ ।
And have you forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you, as children, “My son, count not lightly of the Lord’s childlike correction, nor faint when under his rebuke:
6 किनकि परमप्रभुले जसलाई प्रेम गर्नुहुन्छ ती हरेकलाई अनुशासनमा राख्नुहुन्छ । अनि उहाँले ग्रहण गर्ने हरेक छोरालाई उहाँले दण्ड दिनुहुन्छ ।”
for whom the Lord loveth he correcteth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”
7 कष्टलाई अनुशासनझैँ सहो । परमेश्वरले तिमीहरूसित छोराहरूलाई जस्तै व्यवहार गर्नुहुन्छ । किनकि बाबुले अनुशासन नगरेको कुन छोरा हुन्छ र?
If ye patiently endure correction, God carries himself towards you as his children: for who is the son whom the father doth not correct?
8 तर यदि तिमीहरू अनुशसानविनाका छौ भने तिमीहरू अवैध भयौ, उहाँका छोराहरू भएनौ ।
If then ye are without correction, of which all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not children.
9 यो भन्दा बढी, हामीलाई अनुशासन गर्ने हाम्रा संसारिक बुबाहरू अनुशासनकर्ताका रूपमा थिए, जसलाई हामीले आदर गर्यौँ । यसकारण, के हामीले हाम्रा आत्माका पिताको झन् बढी आज्ञा पालन गर्नुपर्दैन र?
If then we have had the fathers of our flesh for correctors, and reverenced them; shall we not much more be under subjection to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 किनकि एकातिर, हाम्रा बाबुहरूले केही दिनसम्म हामीलाई अनुशसानमा राखे जुन त्यसो गर्न तिनीहरूलाई उचित लाग्यो । तर अर्कोतिर, हामीले उहाँको पवित्रतालाई बाँड्न सकौँ भनेर परमेश्वरले हाम्रै भलाइका लागि त्यसो गर्नुहुन्छ ।
For they indeed for a few days as seemed proper to themselves corrected us; but he for our own advantage, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 यस समयमा कुनै पनि अनुशासन आनन्दको हुँदैन, तर दुःखदायी नै हुन्छ । तथापि जे भए तापनि यसद्वारा तालिम प्राप्त गरेकाहरूका निम्ति भने अन्त्यमा गएर यसले धार्मिकताको शान्तिपूर्ण फल फलाउँदछ ।
Now all correction at the moment seemeth not to be cause for joy, but for sorrow; but after a while it produceth peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have thereby been disciplined.
12 त्यसकारण, लत्रेका हातहरू र र्दुबल घुँडाहरू बलियो बनाओ ।
Wherefore stretch out again the hands that hang down, and the paralytic knees;
13 आफ्ना खुट्टाका लागि बाटो सिधा बनाओ । त्यसैले, जे लङ्गडो छ, त्यो नखुस्कियोस्, बरु निको होस् ।
and make strait paths for your feet, that what is halting may not be turned out of the way; but that it may rather be healed.
14 हरेकसित शान्तिमा बस्ने प्रयत्न गर, र पवित्रताविना कसैले पनि परमप्रभुलाई देख्न सक्दैन ।
Earnestly seek peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 होसियार रहो, ताकि परमेश्वरको अनुग्रहबाट कोही पनि वञ्चित हुन नपरोस्, र तिक्तताको जरा उम्रिएर कसैलाई पनि दुःख नदियोस्, र यसले धेरैलाई दोषी नबनाओस् ।
carefully observing lest any of you fail of attaining the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and by it many be defiled;
16 होसियार रहो । कोही पनि एक छाक खानाको लागि आफ्नो जन्माधिकार बेच्ने एसावजस्तो अधर्मी नहोस् वा यौन अनैतिक नहोस् ।
lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of bread parted with his birthrights.
17 किनकि तिमीहरूलाई थाहै छ, कि पछि गएर उनले त्यो आशिष्को उत्तराधिकार प्राप्त गर्ने इच्छा गर्दा उनलाई अस्वीकार गरियो, किनभने उनले विलाप गर्दा आँशुका साथ पश्चात्ताप गर्ने मौकासमेत पाएन, यद्यपि उनले यसलाई चाहेका थिए ।
For ye know, that when afterwards he wished to inherit the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place for a change of his father’s mind, though he sought it earnestly with tears.
18 किनकि तिमीहरू जलिरहेको पहाड, अन्धकार, बादल र छुन नसक्ने पहाडमा आएका छैनौ ।
For ye have not approached the mountain that could only be groped for, and that burned with fire, and the thick cloud, and the darkness, and the tempest,
19 तिमीहरू तुरही फुकिएको चर्को आवाज भएको ठाउँमा पनि आएका छैनौ, न त त्यस्तो आवाज सुन्ने ठाउँमा आएका छौ जसलाई सुनेर तिनीहरूले अर्को शब्द सुन्नु नपरोस् भनी बिन्ती गरेका थिए ।
and the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words, which they who heard, earnestly begged that the discourse might not be directed to them:
20 किनकि “यदि कुनै जनावरले त्यस पहाडलाई छोयो भने त्यसलाई ढुङ्गाले हान्नैपर्छ” भन्ने आज्ञालाई तिनीहरूले सहन सकेनन् । (नोटः केही पुरानो संस्करणमा लेखिएको छः एउटा जनावरले त्यस पहाडलाई छोयो भने, तापनि त्यसलाई ढुङ्गा वा तीरले हान्नैपर्छ) ।”
for they could not bear the charge given, and “If but a beast touch the mountain he shall be stoned, or shot through with a dart:”
21 मोशाले भने कि त्यो दृश्य एकदमै डरलाग्दो थियो, “म डराएँ र म डरले काम्दै छु ।”
and so terrible was the appearance, that Moses said, I am exceedingly afraid and trembling:
22 त्यसको सट्टामा, तिमीहरू सियोन पहाड र जीवित परमेश्वरको सहर स्वर्गीय यरूशलेम अनि दसौँ हजार स्वर्गदूतको उत्सवमा आएका छौ ।
but ye are come unto mount Sion, and to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels,
23 तिमीहरू स्वर्गमा नाउँ दर्ता गरिएका पहिले जन्मेकाहरूको सभामा, सबैका न्यायकर्ता परमेश्वरकहाँ, अनि सिद्ध पारिएका धर्मी जनका आत्माहरूकहाँ आएका छौँ ।
and to the general assembly and church of the first-born registered in the heavens, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men perfected,
24 अनि नयाँ करारका मध्यस्तकर्ता येशूकहाँ र हाबिलको रगतभन्दा अझ उत्तमसित बोल्ने रगतको छिट्काउमा आएका छौ ।
and to Jesus the mediator of the new testament, and to the blood of sprinkling, which speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 हेर, तिमीहरूसित बोल्दै गर्नुहुनेलाई इन्कार नगर । किनकि यदि पृथ्वीमा तिनीहरूलाई चेतावनी दिनेलाई इन्कार गर्नेहरू त उम्केनन् भने, स्वर्गबाट चेतावनी दिनुहुनेदेखि हामी तर्कीनेहरू झन् कसरी उम्कन सक्छौँ र?
Beware that ye reject not him that speaketh: for if they escaped not, who rejected him, that upon earth spake by divine influence, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him who speaks from heaven:
26 कुनै समय उहाँको आवाजले पृथ्वी हल्लायो । तर अहिले उहाँले प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभयो र भन्नुभयो, “अझ एक पटक म पृथ्वी मात्र होइन, तर स्वर्गहरूलाई पनि हल्लाउनेछु ।”
whose voice then shook the earth, but now he hath promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.”
27 “अझ एक पटक” भन्ने यी शब्दहरूको अर्थ हुन्छ कि हल्लाउन सकिने थोकहरू जो सृष्टि गरिएका छन्, सबै निकालिनेछन् र हल्लाउन नसकिने थोकहरू स्थिर रहनेछन् ।
Now this word yet once more manifests the removal of the things shaken, as of things formed, that the things not shaken may endure.
28 त्यसकारण, एउटा हल्लाउन नसकिने राज्य प्राप्त गरेकोमा हामी कृतज्ञ होऔँ र यस प्रकारले आदर र श्रद्धासाथ परमेश्वरलाई आराधना गरौँ ।
Wherefore receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, may we hold fast the grace, by which we can offer to God acceptably divine service, with reverence and pious awe:
29 किनकि हाम्रा परमेश्वर भस्म पार्ने आगो हुनुहुन्छ ।
for our God is a devouring fire.
