1 आदमका सन्तानहरूका विवरण यही हो । परमेश्वरले मानिसलाई सृष्टि गर्नुहुँदा उहाँले तिनलाई आफ्नै स्वरूपमा सृष्टि गर्नुभयो ।
This [is] an account of the generations of Adam. In the day of God’s creating man, in the likeness of God He has made him;
2 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई नर र नारी सृष्टि गर्नुभयो । उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सृष्टि गर्नु हुँदा, तिनीहरूलाई आशिष् दिनुभयो र तिनीहरूलाई मानवजाति नाउँ दिनुभयो ।
a male and a female He has created them, and He blesses them, and calls their name Man, in the day of their being created.
3 आदम १३० वर्षको हुँदा तिनी आफ्नै स्वरूपमा जन्मेका छोरोको बुबा भए, र तिनले उनको नाउँ शेत राखे ।
And Adam lives one hundred and thirty years [[or two hundred and thirty years]], and begets [a son] in his likeness, according to his image, and calls his name Seth.
4 आदम शेतको बुबा भएपछि, तिनी आठ सय वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अझ अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And the days of Adam after his begetting Seth are eight hundred years [[or seven hundred years]], and he begets sons and daughters.
5 आदम ९३० वर्ष बाँचे अनि तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Adam which he lived are nine hundred and thirty years, and he dies.
6 शेत १०५ वर्षको हुँदा तिनी एनोशको बुबा भए ।
And Seth lives one hundred and five years [[or two hundred and five years]], and begets Enos.
7 तिनी एनोशको बुबा भएपछि, तिनी ८०७ वर्ष बाँचे र अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Seth lives after his begetting Enos eight hundred and seven years [[or seven hundred and seven years]], and begets sons and daughters.
8 शेत ९१२ वर्ष बाँचे र तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Seth are nine hundred and twelve years, and he dies.
9 एनोश ९० वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी केनानका बुबा भए ।
And Enos lives ninety years [[or one hundred and ninety years]], and begets Cainan.
10 तिनी केनानको बुबा भएपछि, एनोश ८१५ वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Enos lives after his begetting Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years [[or seven hundred and fifteen years]], and begets sons and daughters.
11 एनोश ९०५ वर्ष बाँचे र तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Enos are nine hundred and five years, and he dies.
12 केनान ७० वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी महलालेलको बुबा भए ।
And Cainan lives seventy years [[or one hundred and seventy years]], and begets Mahalaleel.
13 तिनी महलालेलका बुबा भएपछि, केनान ८४० वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Cainan lives after his begetting Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years [[or seven hundred and forty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
14 केनान ९१० वर्ष बाँचे र तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Cainan are nine hundred and ten years, and he dies.
15 महलालेल ६५ वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी येरेदको बुबा भए ।
And Mahalaleel lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Jared.
16 तिनी येरेदका बुबा भएपछि, तिनी ८३० वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Mahalaleel lives after his begetting Jared eight hundred and thirty years [[or seven hundred and thirty years]], and begets sons and daughters.
17 महलालेल ८९५ वर्ष बाँचे र तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Mahalaleel are eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he dies.
18 येरेद १६२ वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी हनोकका बुबा भए ।
And Jared lives one hundred and sixty-two years, and begets Enoch.
19 तिनी हनोकको बुबा भएपछि येरेद ८०० वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Jared lives after his begetting Enoch eight hundred years, and begets sons and daughters.
20 येरेद ९६२ बाँचे र तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Jared are nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he dies.
21 हनोक ६५ वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी मतूशेलहको बुबा भए ।
And Enoch lives sixty-five years [[or one hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets Methuselah.
22 हनोक मतूशेलहको बुबा भएपछि तिनी ३०० वर्षसम्म परमेश्वरसँगै हिँडे ।
And Enoch habitually walks with God after his begetting Methuselah three hundred years [[or two hundred years]], and begets sons and daughters.
23 तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And all the days of Enoch are three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 हनोक परमेश्वरसँगै हिँडे, र तिनी गए, किनकि परमेश्वरले तिनलाई लानुभयो ।
And Enoch habitually walks with God, and he is not, for God has taken him.
25 मतूशेलह १८७ वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी लेमेकको बुबा भए ।
And Methuselah lives one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begets Lamech.
26 तिनी लेमेकको बुबा भएपछि, मतूशेलह ७८२ वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Methuselah lives after his begetting Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and begets sons and daughters.
27 मतूशेलह ९६९ वर्ष बाँचे अनि तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Methuselah are nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he dies.
28 लेमेक १८२ वर्षको हुँदा, तिनी एउटा छोरोको बुबा भए ।
And Lamech lives one hundred and eighty-two years [[or one hundred and eighty-eight years]], and begets a son,
29 तिनले उनलाई यसो भन्दै नोआ नाउँ राखे, “यसले हामीलाई हाम्रा काम र हाम्रा हातका पिडादायी श्रमबाट विश्राम दिनेछ, जुन परमप्रभुले जमिनलाई सराप दिनुभएको कारण हामीले गर्नैपर्छ ।”
and calls his name Noah, saying, “This [one] comforts us concerning our work, and concerning the labor of our hands, because of the ground which YHWH has cursed.”
30 लेमेक नोआको बुबा भएपछि ५९५ वर्ष बाँचे । तिनी अरू धेरै छोराहरू र छोरीहरूका बुबा भए ।
And Lamech lives after his begetting Noah five hundred and ninety-five years [[or five hundred and sixty-five years]], and begets sons and daughters.
31 लेमेक ७७७ वर्ष बाँचे, अनि तिनी मरे ।
And all the days of Lamech are seven hundred and seventy-seven years [[or seven hundred and fifty-three years]], and he dies.
32 नोआ ५०० वर्ष बाँचेपछि, तिनी शेम, हाम र येपेतका बुबा भए ।
And Noah is a son of five hundred years, and Noah begets Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
