उत्पत्ति 18
1 दिउँसोको गर्मीमा मम्रेका फलाँटका रुखहरूछेउमा भएको आफ्नो पालको ढोकामा अब्राहाम बसेको बेला परमप्रभु तिनीकहाँ देखा पर्नुभयो ।
and to see: see to(wards) him LORD in/on/with terebinth Mamre and he/she/it to dwell entrance [the] tent like/as heat [the] day
2 तिनले आफ्ना आँखा उठाएर हेरे, र तिनले आफ्नो सामु तिन जना मानिस उभिरहेका देखे । उनीहरूलाई देखेपछि तिनी पालको ढोकाबाट भेट गर्नलाई दौडेर गए, र भुइँसम्म निहुरेर दण्डवत् गरे ।
and to lift: look eye his and to see: see and behold three human to stand upon him and to see: see and to run: run to/for to encounter: meet them from entrance [the] tent and to bow land: soil [to]
3 तिनले भने, “प्रभु, यदि तपाईंको नजरमा मैले निगाह पाएको छु भने, आफ्नो दासलाई छोडेर नजानुहोस् ।
and to say lord my if please to find favor in/on/with eye: seeing your not please to pass from upon servant/slave your
4 केही पानी ल्याउन दिनुहोस्, र तपाईंहरू आफ्ना गोडा धुनुहोस्, र यही रुखमुनि आराम गर्नुहोस् ।
to take: bring please little water and to wash: wash foot your and to lean underneath: under [the] tree
5 मलाई केही रोटी ल्याउन दिनुहोस्, ताकि तपाईंहरूको थकाइ मरोस् । त्यसपछि तपाईंहरू आफ्नो बाटो जान सक्नुहुन्छ, किनभने तपाईंहरू आफ्नो दासकहाँ आउनुभएको छ ।” उनीहरूले भने, “तिमीले भनेअनुसार गर ।”
and to take: bring morsel food: bread and to support heart your (after *L(S)*) to pass for as that: since as as to pass upon servant/slave your and to say so to make: do like/as as which to speak: speak
6 तब अब्राहाम तुरुन्तै पालमा साराकहाँ गएर भने, “चाँडो पाँच पाथी मसिनो पिठो ल्याई मुछेर रोटी बनाऊ ।”
and to hasten Abraham [the] tent [to] to(wards) Sarah and to say to hasten three seah flour fine flour to knead and to make bun
7 अब्राहाम बथानतिर दौडेर गए, र एउटा कलिलो र असल बाछो लिएर नोकरलाई दिए, र त्यसलाई हतारमा तयार गर्न लागे ।
and to(wards) [the] cattle to run: run Abraham and to take: take son: young animal cattle tender and pleasant and to give: give to(wards) [the] youth and to hasten to/for to make [obj] him
8 तिनले दही, दूध र त्यो तयार गरिएको बाछाको मासु लगेर उनीहरूका सामु टक्र्याए । उनीहरूले खाँदा तिनी उनीहरूकै नजिक रूखमुनि उभिए ।
and to take: take curd and milk and son: young animal [the] cattle which to make and to give: put to/for face: before their and he/she/it to stand: stand upon them underneath: under [the] tree and to eat
9 उनीहरूले तिनलाई सोधे, “तेरी पत्नी सारा कहाँ छे?” तिनले जवाफ दिए, “त्यहीँ पालमा छिन् ।”
and to say to(wards) him where? Sarah woman: wife your and to say behold in/on/with tent
10 परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “आउँदो साल यही समयमा म निश्चय नै तँकहाँ फर्किआउनेछु, र हेर्, तेरी पत्नी साराले एक जना छोरो जन्माउनेछे ।” साराले चाहिँ उहाँको पछिल्तिर भएको ढोकाबाट यो कुरो सुनिरहेकी थिइन् ।
and to say to return: return to return: return to(wards) you like/as time alive and behold son: child to/for Sarah woman: wife your and Sarah to hear: hear entrance [the] tent and he/she/it after him
11 अब्राहाम र सारा वृद्ध थिए र तिनीहरूको उमेर ढल्किसकेको थियो । साराको बच्चा जन्माउने उमेर बितिसकेको थियो ।
and Abraham and Sarah old to come (in): advanced in/on/with day: year to cease to/for to be to/for Sarah way like/as woman
12 यसकारण सारा मनमनै यसो भन्दै हाँसिन्, “म वृद्ध भइसकेकी छु, र मेरा स्वामी पनि वृद्ध भइसक्नुभएको छ, के मैले सुख पाउँछु र?”
and to laugh Sarah in/on/with entrails: among her to/for to say after to become old I to be to/for me delight and lord my be old
13 तब परमप्रभुले अब्राहामलाई भन्नुभयो, “‘बुढेसकालमा मैले छोराछोरी पाउँछु र भनेर सारा किन हाँसी’?
and to say LORD to(wards) Abraham to/for what? this to laugh Sarah to/for to say also truly to beget and I be old
14 परमप्रभुको निम्ति कुनै कुरो कठिन छ र? अर्को साल मैले तोकेको समयमा म तँकहाँ फर्किआउनेछु । अर्को वर्ष यही समयमा साराको एक जना छोरा हुनेछ ।”
to wonder from LORD word: thing to/for meeting: time appointed to return: return to(wards) you like/as time alive and to/for Sarah son: child
15 त्यसपछि साराले इन्कार गर्दै यसो भनिन्, “म हाँसिनँ ।” किनभने तिनी डराइन् । तर उहाँले जवाफ दिनुभयो, “होइन, तँ हाँसेकै होस् ।”
and to deceive Sarah to/for to say not to laugh for to fear and to say not for to laugh
16 तब ती पुरुषहरू उठे र सदोमतिर तल हेरे । अब्राहाम अलि परसम्म उनीहरूलाई बिदा गर्न गए ।
and to arise: rise from there [the] human and to look upon face: surface Sodom and Abraham to go: went with them to/for to send: depart them
17 तर परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “मैले गर्न लागेको काम के अब्राहामबाट लुकाएर राखूँ?
and LORD to say to cover I from Abraham which I to make: do
18 अब्राहामबाट एउटा ठुलो र शक्तिशाली जाति बन्नेछ, र त्यसद्वारा नै पृथ्वीका सबै जातिहरूले आशिष् पाउनेछन् ।
and Abraham to be to be to/for nation great: large and mighty and to bless in/on/with him all nation [the] land: country/planet
19 किनभने मैले त्यसलाई आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरू र घरानालाई धर्म र न्याय गरेर परमप्रभुको मार्ग पालन गर्नलाई आज्ञा देओस् भनेर छानेको छु, ताकि परमप्रभुले अब्राहामलाई भन्नुभएको कुरा पुरा गर्नुभएको होस् ।”
for to know him because which to command [obj] son: child his and [obj] house: household his after him and to keep: obey way: conduct LORD to/for to make: do righteousness and justice because to come (in): bring LORD upon Abraham [obj] which to speak: promise upon him
20 तब परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “सदोम र गमोराको विरुद्धमा उठेको आवाज धेरै ठुलो, र तिनीहरूका पाप साह्रै गम्भीर भएको कारण
and to say LORD outcry Sodom and Gomorrah for to multiply and sin their for to honor: heavy much
21 मकहाँ आएको त्यसको विरुद्धको आवाजअनुसार तिनीहरूले गरेका छन् कि छैनन् भन्ने कुरा हेर्नलाई म तल जानेछु । होइन रहेछ भने मलाई थाहा हुनेछ।”
to go down please and to see: see like/as cry her [the] to come (in): come to(wards) me to make: do consumption and if not to know
22 यसकारण ती पुरुषहरू त्यहाँबाट सदोमतिर गए, तर अब्राहामचाहिँ परमप्रभुको सामु उभिरहे ।
and to turn from there [the] human and to go: went Sodom [to] (and Abraham *L(S)*) still he to stand: stand to/for face: before (LORD *L(S)*)
23 तब अब्राहामले नजिक गएर भने, ‘के तपाईंले धर्मीहरूलाई पनि दुष्टहरूसँगै नष्ट गर्नुहुनेछ?
and to approach: approach Abraham and to say also to snatch righteous with wicked
24 सायद त्यस सहरमा पचास धर्मी जन छन् होला । के त्यसमा भएका पचास धर्मी जनका निम्ति त्यस सहरलाई नजोगाएर नष्ट पार्नुहुनेछ र?
perhaps there fifty righteous in/on/with midst [the] city also to snatch and not to lift: bear to/for place because fifty [the] righteous which in/on/with entrails: among her
25 धर्मीलाई पनि दुष्टलाई जस्तै व्यवहार गरेर दुष्टका साथमा धर्मी जनलाई मार्ने काम तपाईंबाट टाढा रहोस् । यस्तो कुरा तपाईंबाट टाढा रहोस्! सारा पृथ्वीका न्यायकर्ताले न्यायोचित काम गर्नुहुन्न र?
forbid to/for you from to make: do like/as Chronicles [the] this to/for to die righteous with wicked and to be like/as righteous like/as wicked forbid to/for you to judge all [the] land: country/planet not to make: do justice
26 परमप्रभुले भन्नुभयो, “सदोम सहरभित्र पचास धर्मी जन पाएँ भने म तिनीहरूका खातिर सारा सहरलाई छोड़िदिनेछु ।”
and to say LORD if to find in/on/with Sodom fifty righteous in/on/with midst [the] city and to lift: bear to/for all [the] place in/on/with for the sake of them
27 अब्राहामले जवाफ दिएर भने, “हेर्नुहोस्, म केवल माटो र खरानी मात्र भएर पनि परमप्रभुसँग कुरा गर्न आँट गरेको छु ।
and to answer Abraham and to say behold please be willing to/for to speak: speak to(wards) Lord and I dust and ashes
28 यदि त्यहाँ पाँच कम पचास जना धर्मी जन रहेछन् भने? केवल पाँच मात्र घटी भएको कारण तपाईं सारा सहरलाई नै नाश गर्नुहुनेछ?” त्यसपछि उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “यदि मैले त्यहाँ पैँतालीस पाएँ भने म त्यो नाश गर्नेछैनँ ।”
perhaps to lack [emph?] fifty [the] righteous five to ruin in/on/with five [obj] all [the] city and to say not to ruin if to find there forty and five
29 तिनले फेरि उहाँसँग बोल्दै भने, “यदि त्यहाँ चालीस रहेछन् भने?” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “चालीस जनाका खातिर पनि म त्यसो गर्नेछैनँ।”
and to add: again still to/for to speak: speak to(wards) him and to say perhaps to find [emph?] there forty and to say not to make: do in/on/with for the sake of [the] forty
30 तिनले भने, “परमप्रभु रिसानी नहोस् ताकि म अझै बोल्न सकूँ । यदि त्यहाँ तिस जना पाइए भने?” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “त्यहाँ तिस जना नै पाएँ भने पनि म त्यसो गर्नेछैनँ ।”
and to say not please to be incensed to/for Lord and to speak: speak perhaps to find [emph?] there thirty and to say not to make: do if to find there thirty
31 तिनले भने, “हेर्नुहोस्, मैले परमप्रभुसँग कुरा गर्ने आँट गरेको छु । बिस जना पाइए भने?” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “बिस जनाका खातिर पनि म त्यसलाई नाश गर्नेछैनँ ।”
and to say behold please be willing to/for to speak: speak to(wards) Lord perhaps to find [emph?] there twenty and to say not to ruin in/on/with for the sake of [the] twenty
32 तिनले भने, “परमप्रभु रिसानी नहोस्। अब अन्तिम एक पल्ट बोल्नेछु । सायद त्यहाँ दस जना पाइन्छन् होला?” उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “दश जनाका खातिर पनि म त्यो नाश गर्नेछैनँ ।”
and to say not please to be incensed to/for Lord and to speak: speak surely [the] beat perhaps to find [emph?] there ten and to say not to ruin in/on/with for the sake of [the] ten
33 अब्राहामसित कुरा गरिसक्ने बित्तिकै परमप्रभु गइहाल्नुभयो, र अब्राहामचाहिँ आफ्नो घर फर्के ।
and to go: journey LORD like/as as which to end: finish to/for to speak: speak to(wards) Abraham and Abraham to return: return to/for place his
