एज्रा 2

1 राजा नबूकदनेसरको निर्वासनबाट छुटेर फर्कने प्रान्तमा भएका मानिसहरू यिनै हुन् जसलाई तिनले बेबिलोनमा कैद गरेर लगेका थिए । यी मानिसहरू यरूशलेम र यहूदियामा आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा फर्के ।

Now, these, are the sons of the province, who came up from among the captives of the exile, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon exiled to Babylon, —who came back unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his own city;

2 तिनीहरू यरुबाबेल, येशूअ, नहेम्याह, सरायाह, रेलयाह, मोर्दकै, बिल्शान, मिस्पार, बिग्वै, रेहूम र बानाहसँगै आए । इस्राएलका मानिसहरूको विवरण यही हो ।

who came in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Seraiah, Reelaiah, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispar, Bigvai Rehum, Baanah, —the number of the men of the people of Israel: —

3 परोशका परिवारका २,१७२

The sons of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;

4 शपत्‍याहका परिवारका ३७२

The sons of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;

5 आराका परिवारका ७७५

The sons of Arah, seven hundred and seventy-five;

6 येशूअ र योआबका सन्‍तानबाट पहत-मोआबका परिवारका २,८१२

The sons of Pahath-moab, belonging to the sons of Jeshua, Joab, two thousand eight hundred and twelve;

7 एलामका परिवारका १,२५४

The sons of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four;

8 जत्तूका परिवारका ९४५

The sons of Zattu, nine hundred and forty-five;

9 जक्‍कैका परिवारका ७६०

The sons of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty;

10 बानीका परिवारका ६४२

The sons of Bani, six hundred and forty-two;

11 बेबैका परिवारका ६२३

The sons of Bebai, six hundred and twenty-three;

12 अज्‍गादका परिवारका १,२२२

The sons of Azgad, a thousand two hundred and twenty-two;

13 अदोनीकामका परिवारका ६६६

The sons of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty-six;

14 बिग्‍वैका परिवारका १,०५६

The sons of Bigvai, two thousand and fifty-six;

15 आदीनका परिवारका ४५४

The sons of Adin, four hundred and fifty-four;

16 हिजकियाबाट आतेरका परिवारका ९८

The sons of Ater pertaining to Hezekiah, ninety-eight;

17 बेजैका परिवारका ३२३

The sons of Bezai, three hundred and twenty-three;

18 योराका परिवारका ११२

The sons of Jorah, a hundred and twelve;

19 हाशूमका मानिसहरू २२३

The sons of Hashum, two hundred and twenty-three:

20 गिबारका मानिसहरू ९५

The sons of Gibbar, ninety-five;

21 बेथलेहेमका मानिसहरू १२३

The sons of Bethlehem, a hundred and twenty-three;

22 नतोपाका मानिसहरू ५६

The men of Netophah, fifty-six;

23 अनातोतका मानिसहरू १२८

The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty-eight;

24 अज्‍मावेतका मानिसहरू ४२

The sons of Azmaveth, forty-two;

25 किर्यत-यारीम, कपीरा र बेरोतका मानिसहरू ७४३

The sons of Kiriath-arim, Chephirah and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty-three;

26 रामा र गेबाका मानिसहरू ६२१

The sons of Ramah and Geba, six hundred and twenty-one;

27 मिकमाशका मानिसहरू १२२

The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty-two:

28 बेथेल र ऐका मानिसहरू २२३

The men of Bethel and Ai, two hundred and twenty-three;

29 नेबोका मानिसहरू ५२

The sons of Nebo, fifty-two;

30 मग्‍बीसका मानिसहरू १५६

The sons of Magbish, a hundred and fifty-six;

31 अर्को एलामका मानिसहरू १,२५४

The sons of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty-four;

32 हारीमका मानिसहरू ३२०

The sons of Harim, three hundred and twenty;

33 लोद, हादीद र ओनोका मानिसहरू ७२५

The sons of Lod, Hadid and Ono, seven hundred and twenty-five;

34 यरीहोका मानिसहरू ३४५

The sons of Jericho, three hundred and forty-five;

35 सेनाहका मानिसहरू ३,६३० ।

The sons of Senaah, three thousand and six hundred and thirty!

36 पुजारीहरू: येशूअको वंशबाट यदायाहका परिवारका ९७३

The priests, The sons of Jedaiah of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy-three;

37 इम्‍मेरका परिवारका १,०५२

The sons of Immer, a thousand and fifty-two;

38 पशहूरका परिवारका १,२४७

The sons of Pashhur, a thousand two hundred and forty-seven;

39 हारीमका परिवारका १,०१७ ।

The sons of Harim, a thousand and seventeen,

40 लेवीहरू: होदबियाको वंशबाट येशूअ र कादमीएलका परिवारका ७४

The Levites, The sons of Jeshua, and Kadmiel of the sons of Hodaviah, seventy-four.

41 मन्दिरका गायकहरू: आसापका परिवारका १२८

The singers, The sons of Asaph, a hundred and twenty-eight.

42 मन्‍दिरका द्वारपालहरू: शल्‍लूम, आतेर, तल्‍मोन, अक्‍कूब, हतीता, शोबैका परिवारहरूका जम्‍मा १३९ ।

The sons of the door-keepers, The sons of Shallum, the sons of Ater, the sons of Talmon, the sons of Akkub, the sons of Hatita, the sons of Shobai, —in all, a hundred and thirty-nine.

43 मन्‍दिरका सेवकहरू: सीहा, हसूपा, तब्‍बाओत,

The Nethinim, The sons of Ziha, the sons of Hasupha, the sons of Tabbaoth;

44 केरोस, सीआ, पादोन,

the sons of Keros, the sons of Siaha, the sons of Padon;

45 लेबाना, हगाबा, अक्‍कूब,

the sons of Lebanah, the sons of Hagabah, the sons of Akkub;

46 हागाबा, शल्‍मै, हानान,

the sons of Hagab, the sons of Shamlai, the sons of Hanan;

47 गिद्देल, गहरका, रायाह,

the sons of Giddel, the sons of Gahar, the sons of Reaiah;

48 रसीन, नकोदा, गज्‍जाम,

the sons of Rezin, the sons of Nekoda, the sons of Gazzam;

49 उज्‍जा, पसेह, बेजै,

the sons of Uzza, the sons of Paseah, the sons of Besai;

50 अस्‍ना, मोनिम, नेपुसीम,

the sons of Asnah, the sons of Meunim, the sons of Nephisim;

51 बक्‍बूक, हकूपा, हर्हुर,

the sons of Bakbuk, the sons of Hakupha, the sons of Harhur;

52 बस्‍लूत, महीदा, हर्शा,

the sons of Bazluth, the sons of Mehida, the sons of Harsha;

53 बर्कोस, सीसरा, तेमह,

the sons of Barkos, the sons of Sisera, the sons of Temah;

54 नसीह, र हतीपाका परिवारहरू ।

the sons of Neziah, the sons of Hatipha.

55 सोलोमनका सेवकहरूका सन्‍तानहरू: सोतै, हस्‍सोपेरेत, पारूद,

The Sons of the Servants of Solomon. The sons of Sotai, the sons of Hasso-phereth, the sons of Peruda;

56 याला, दर्कोन, गिद्देल,

the sons of Jaalah, the sons of Darkon, the sons of Giddel;

57 शपत्‍याह, हत्तील, पोकेरेत-हसेबायीम, र आमीका परिवारहरू ।

the sons of Shephatiah, the sons of Hattil, the sons of Pochereth-hazzebaim, the sons of Ami.

58 मन्‍दिरका सेवकहरू र सोलोमनका सेवकहरूका सन्‍तानहरूको सङ्ख्या जम्‍मा ३९२ थियो ।

All the Nethinim, and the Sons of the Servants of Solomon, were three hundred and ninety-two.

59 तेल-मेलह, तेल-हर्शा, केरूब, आदोन र इम्‍मेर सहरबाट आएकाहरूले आफ्‍ना पुर्खाहरू इस्राएलको वंशबाट आएका हुन्‌ भनेर बताउन सकेनन्‌ । यी हुन्‌:

And, these, were they who came up from Tel-melah, Tel-harsha, Cherub, Addan, Immer; but they could not tell their ancestral house, nor their seed, whether, of Israel, they were:

60 दलायाह, तोबिया, नकोदाका परिवारहरूका जम्‍मा ६५२,

the sons of Delaiah, the sons of Tobiah, the sons of Nekoda, —six hundred and fifty-two.

61 र पुजारीहरूबाट: होबायाहका, हक्‍कोसका र बर्जिल्‍लै (तिनले गिलादी बर्जिल्‍लैका छोरीहरूमध्ये एउटीलाई विवाह गरे र तिनीहरूका नाउँ राखे) परिवार ।

And, of the sons of the priests, the sons of Habaiah, the sons of Hakkoz, —the sons of Barzillai, who took of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.

62 तिनीहरूले आफ्नो वंशावलीका विवरणहरू खोजे, तर ति फेला पार्न सकेनन्, त्यसैले तिनीहरूलाई अशुद्ध ठानेर पुजारीको काममा समावेश गरिएन ।

These, sought their writing wherein they were registered, but they were not found, —so they were desecrated out of the priesthood;

63 त्‍यसैले ऊरीम र तुम्मीमको सेवा गर्ने एक जना पुजारीले अनुमोदन नगरेसम्म तिनीहरूले पवित्र बलिदानका कुनै पनि थोक खानुहुँदैन भनी गभर्नरले तिनीहरूलाई बताए ।

and the governor told them, that they must not eat of the most holy things, —until there should stand up a priest, with Lights and Perfections.

64 सम्पूर्ण समुहको जम्‍मा सङ्ख्या ४२,३६० थियो,

All the gathered host together, was forty-two thousand three hundred and sixty;

65 यसमा तिनीहरूका नोकर-नोकर्नीहरू (७,३३७ जना) र तिनीहरूका मन्दिरका गायक-गायिकाहरू समावेश थिएन ।

besides, their men-servants and their maid-servants who were these, seven thousand three hundred and thirty-seven, —and there pertained to them, singing men and singing women, two hundred:

66 तिनीहरूका घोडाहरू ७३६ । खच्‍चरहरू २४५ ।

their horses, were seven hundred and thirty-six, —their mules, two hundred and forty-five;

67 ऊँटहरू ४३५ । गधाहरू ६,७२० थिए ।

their camels, four hundred and thirty-five, —asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.

68 जब तिनीहरू यरूशलेममा परमप्रभुको मन्दिरमा गए, मुख्य पुर्खाहरूले मन्दिर निर्माणको लागि स्वेच्छा भेटीहरू चढाए ।

And, a portion of the ancestral chiefs, when they came to the house of Yahweh which was in Jerusalem, offered voluntarily for the house of God, to set it up on its basis.

69 तिनीहरूले आ-आफ्नो औकातअनुसार कामको लागि रुपियाँ-पैसा दिएः ६१,००० सुनका सिक्‍का, ५,००० चाँदीका सिक्‍का र पुजारीको १०० ओटा अलखाहरू ।

According to their ability, gave they unto the treasury of the work, of gold, sixty-one thousand drams, and, of silver, five thousand manehs, —and, tunics for priests, one hundred.

70 यसरी पुजारी र लेवीहरू, मानिसहरू, मन्दिरका गायकहरू र द्वारपालहरूसाथै मन्दिरमा सेवा गर्न नियुक्त गरिएकाहरू आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा बसोबास गरे । इस्राएलका सबै मानिस आ-आफ्ना सहरहरूमा थिए ।

So the priests and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers and the doorkeepers and the Nethinim, took up their abode, in their cities, —and, all Israel, in their cities.
