इजकिएल 38

1 परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,

2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, मागोग देशको गोग, मेशेक र तूबलको प्रमुख शासकतिर आफ्नो मुख फर्का । अनि त्यसको विरुद्ध अगमवाणी गर् ।

“Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy concerning him,

3 यसो भन्, ‘परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यस्तो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: हेर्, मेशेक र तूबलको प्रमुख शासक गोग, म तेरो विरुद्धमा छु ।

and you have said, Thus says Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Gog, Chief prince of [[or prince of Rosh, ]] Meshech and Tubal,

4 यसैले तँलाई म फर्काउनेछु र तेरो बङ्‍ग्रामा बल्छी लगाउनेछु । तेरा फौज, घोडाहरू र घोडचढीहरू, सारा हतियारले सुसज्‍जित सबै जना, साना र ठुला ढालहरूका साथमा एउटा ठुलो दल, तरवारहरू बोकेका सबै जनासँगै तँलाई म बाहिर पठाउनेछु ।

And I have turned you back, And I have put hooks in your jaws, And have brought you out, and all your force, Horses and horsemen, All of them clothed in perfection, A numerous assembly, [with] buckler and shield, All of them handling swords.

5 फारस, कूश र लिबिया तिनीहरूसँगै हुनेछन् । ती सबै जनाले ढाल बोकेका र टोप लगाएका हुनेछन् ।

Persia, Cush, and Phut, with them, All of them [with] shield and helmet.

6 गोमर र त्यसका सबै फौज, र उत्तरका टाढा ठाउँहरूबाट बेथ-तोगर्मा, र त्यसका सबै फौज । धेरै जना मानिस तँसँग हुनेछन्!

Gomer and all its bands, The house of Togarmah [from] the sides of the north, And all its bands, many peoples with you,

7 तयार हो! आफूलाई र आफूसित भेला भएका तेरा फौजलाई तयार राख्, र तिनीहरूका कमाण्‍डर हो ।

Be prepared, indeed, prepare yourself, You and all your assemblies who are assembled to you, And you have been for a watch for them.

8 धेरै दिनपछि तँलाई बोलाइनेछ, र धेरै वर्षपछि तँ त्यो देशमा जानेछस् जुन तरवारद्वारा प्राप्‍त भएको हो र जुन धेरै समयसम्म भग्‍नावशेष भएको इस्राएलका पहाडहरूमा धेरै जातिहरूद्वारा पुनः खडा भएको हो । तर त्यस देशका मानिसहरूलाई जातिहरूबाट बाहिर निकालेर ल्‍याइनेछ, र तिनीहरू सबै जना सुरक्षसाथ बस्‍नेछन् ।

After many days you are appointed, In the latter end of the years you come into a land brought back from sword—Gathered out of many peoples, On mountains of Israel, That have been for a continuous ruin, And it has been brought out from the peoples, And all of them have dwelt safely.

9 यसैले जसरी आँधी माथि जान्‍छ त्‍यसरी तँ जानेछस् । तँ, तेरा सबै फौज, तँसँग भएका धेरै जना सिपाही त्यस देशलाई ढाक्‍ने बादलझैं हुनेछन् ।

And you have gone up—you come in as desolation, You are as a cloud to cover the land, You and all your bands, and many peoples with you.

10 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: त्यो दिन यसो हुनेछ, तेरो हृदयमा योजनाहरू बन्‍नेछन्, र तैंले दुष्‍ट युक्तिहरू रच्नेछस् ।’

Thus said Lord YHWH: And it has come to pass in that day, Things come up on your heart, And you have thought an evil thought,

11 तब तैंले यसो भन्‍नेछस्, ‘म त्यो खुला मैदानसम्म जानेछु । सुरक्षित बसिरहेका शान्त मानिसहरूकहाँ म जानेछु । त्‍यहाँ तिनीहरू सबै कुनै पर्खाल वा बारहरूबिना नै, र मूल ढोकाहरू नभइकन पनि बसिरहेका छन् ।

And you have said: I go up over a land of open places, I go to those at rest, dwelling confidently, All of them are dwelling without walls, And they have no bar and doors—

12 लूटका माल म कब्जा गर्नेछु र चोर्नेछु ताकि भर्खरै मात्र बसोबास गरिएका बाँझो जमिनका विरुद्धमा, र जातिहरूबाट भेला भएका मानिसहरू, गाईवस्तु र सम्पत्ति आर्जन गरिरहेका मानिसहरू र पृथ्वीको बिचमा बसोबास गरिरहेकाहरूका विरुद्ध म आफ्‍नो हात उठाउनेछु ।’

To take a spoil, and to take a prey, To turn back your hand on inhabited ruins, And on a people gathered out of nations, Making livestock and substance, Dwelling on a high part of the land.

13 शेबा र ददान, र तर्शीशका व्यापारीहरूले आफ्‍ना जवान योद्धाहरूसँगै तँलाई यसो भन्‍नेछन्, ‘के तँ लुट्न आएको होस्? के तैंले तेरो फौजलाई लुटको माल, चाँदी र सुन, तिनीहरूका गाईवस्तु र सम्पत्ति जफत गर्न र लैजान भेला गराएको होस्?’

Sheba, and Dedan, and merchants of Tarshish, And all its young lions say to you, Are you coming to take spoil? Have you assembled your assembly to take prey? To carry away silver and gold? To take away livestock and substance? To take a great spoil?

14 यसकारण, ए मानिसको छोरो, अगमवाणी गर् र गोगलाई यसो भन्, ‘परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: त्यो दिन, जब मेरा मानिसहरू सुरक्षित बसेका हुन्‍छन्, के तैंले तिनीहरूका बारेमा जान्‍नेछैनस्?

Therefore, prophesy, son of man, and you have said to Gog, Thus said Lord YHWH: In that day, in the dwelling of My people Israel safely, Do you not know?

15 तँ टाढा उत्तरको आफ्‍नो ठाउँबाट ठुलो फौजको साथमा, ती सबै जना घोडाहरूमा सवार हुने एउटा ठुलो दल, विशाल फौजसहित आउनेछस् ।

And you have come in out of your place, From the sides of the north, You and many peoples with you, Riding on horses—all of them, A great assembly, and a numerous force.

16 जमिनलाई बादलले ढाकेझैं तैंले मेरा मानिस अर्थात् इस्राएललाई आक्रमण गर्नेछस् । पछिल्ला दिनहरूमा म तँलाई मेरो देशको विरुद्ध ल्याउनेछु, ताकि मैले तँ, गोगद्वारा जातिहरूका आँखा अगाडि मलाई पवित्र प्रकट गर्दा तिनीहरूले मलाई जान्‍न सकून् ।

And you have come up against My people Israel, As a cloud to cover the land, It is in the latter end of the days, And I have brought you in against My land, In order that the nations may know Me, In My being sanctified in you before their eyes, O Gog.

17 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: के तँ त्यही होइनस् जसको बारेमा मैले पुराना दिनामा मेरा दास, इस्राएलका अगमवक्ताहरूद्वारा बोलें र मैले तँलाई तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा ल्याउने समयको बारेमा तिनीहरूले आफ्नै समयमा अगमवाणी गरे?

Thus said Lord YHWH: Are you he of whom I spoke in former days, By the hand of My servants, prophets of Israel, Who were prophesying [for] years in those days, To bring you in against them?

18 यसैले यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो, गोगले इस्राएल देशलाई आक्रमण गर्ने दिनमा मेरो रिसको क्रोध दन्किनेछ ।

And it has come to pass in that day, In the day of the coming in of Gog against the land of Israel, A declaration of Lord YHWH, My fury comes up in My face,

19 मेरो जोश र मेरो क्रोधको आगोमा, म यो घोषणा गर्छु, कि त्यस दिन इस्राएलमा एउटा ठुलो भूकम्प जानेछ ।

And in My zeal, in the fire of My wrath, I have spoken: Is there not a great rushing on the land of Israel in that day?

20 तिनीहरू सबै अर्थात् समुद्रका माछाहरू, आकाशका चाराहरू, जमिनका पशुहरू, र जमिनका घस्रने सबै प्राणीहरू, र जमिनको सतहमा भएका हरेक मानिस मेरो अगि थरथर काँम्‍नेछन् । हरेक पर्खालहरू जमिनमा नढलेसम्म सबै पर्वतहरू तल खसालिनेछन् र चट्टानहरू ढल्नेछन् ।

And rushed from My presence have fishes of the sea, And the bird of the heavens, And the beast of the field, And every creeping thing that is creeping on the ground, And all men who [are] on the face of the ground, And the mountains have been thrown down, And the ascents have fallen, And every wall falls to the earth.

21 यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो, मेरा सबै पर्वतहरूमा म त्यसको विरुद्ध एउटा तरवार पठाउनेछु । हरेक मानिसको तरवार त्यसको भाइको विरुद्ध हुनेछ ।

And I have called for a sword against him throughout all My mountains, A declaration of Lord YHWH, The sword of each is against his brother.

22 तब त्यसलाई म रूढी र रगतले न्‍याय गर्नेछु । अनि त्यो र त्यसका फौज र त्योसँगै भएका धेरै जातिहरूमाथि म घनघोर वर्षा र असिना र जलिरहेको गन्धक बर्साउनेछु ।

And I have judged him with pestilence and with blood, And an overflowing rain and hailstones, I rain fire and brimstone on him, and on his bands, And on many peoples who [are] with him.

23 म आफ्नो महान्‌ता र आफ्‍नो पवित्रता देखाउनेछु र धेरै जातिहरूका दृष्‍टिमा म आफैंलाई चिनाउनेछु, र म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन् ।’”

And I have magnified Myself, and sanctified Myself, And I have been known before the eyes of many nations, And they have known that I [am] YHWH!”
