इजकिएल 36

1 “अब, ए मानिसको छोरा, इस्राएलका पर्वतहरूलाई अगमवाणी गर् र यसो भन्, ‘ए इस्राएलका पर्वतहरू, परमप्रभुको वचन सुन ।

But thou, son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, O mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of the Lord.

2 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: शत्रुले तिमीहरूका बारेमा यसो भनेका छ, “आहा! प्राचीन अग्ला ठाउँहरू हाम्रा अधिकारमा भएका छन् ।”’

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because the enemy hath said regarding you, Aha, even the ancient high-places are become ours as a possession:

3 यसकारण अगमवाणी गर र यसो भन्, ‘परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: तिमीहरू उजाड भएका हुनाले र तिमीहरूमाथि चारैतिरबाट आक्रमण भएको हुनाले तिमीहरू अरू जातिहरूका अधिकारमा परेका छौ । तिमीहरू निन्दनीय ओठहरू र जिब्राहरू, अनि मानिसहरूका वर्णनका विषय बनेका छौ ।

Therefore prophesy and say, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because, even because men have made you desolate, and sought to swallow you up on every side, that ye might become a possession unto the residue of the nations, and ye are taken up as a talk for tongues, and an evil report of the people:

4 यसकारण, ए इस्राएलका पर्वतहरू, परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको वचन सुनः पर्वतहरू र अग्ला पहाडहरू, खोलाहरू र बेसीहरू, तिनीहरूका वरिपरि भएका अरू जतिहरूका निम्‍ति लूट र हाँसोको विषय बनेका निर्जन उजाड-स्थानहरू र त्‍यागिएका सहरहरूलाई परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छ,

Therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear ye the word of the Lord Eternal, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal to the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, to the desolate ruins, and to the cities that are forsaken, which are become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are round about:

5 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः निश्‍चय नै अरू जातिहरूका विरुद्धमा, एदोम र मेरो देशलाई आफ्नो अधिकारमा लिने सबैका विरुद्धमा, र आफ्नै निम्ति मेरो देशको खर्कमाथि अधिकार गर्नलाई त्यो कब्जा गर्दा आफ्नो हृदयमा रमाहट गर्ने र आत्मामा घृणा बोकेका सबैको विरुद्धमा मेरो क्रोधको आगोमा मैले बोलेको छु ।’

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Idumea, that have appropriated my land unto themselves as a possession with the joy of all their heart, with derision in their soul, in order to drive it out that it may be for a prey.

6 यसकारण, इस्राएल देशलाई अगमवाणी गर र पर्वतहरू र अग्ला पहाडहरू, खोलाहरू र बेसीहरूलाई यसो भन्, ‘परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: हेर्, मेरो क्रोध र रिसमा म यो घोषणा गर्दैछु किनभने तिमीहरूले जातिहरूका अपमान सहेका छौ ।

Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the ravines, and to the valleys, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, In my zealousness and in my fury have I spoken, because ye have borne the reproach of the nations:

7 यसकारण, परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: म आफ्नो हात उठाएर यो शपथ खान्छु, कि तेरो वरिपरिका जातिहरूले आफ्नो लाज आफै बोक्‍नेछन् ।

Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, I have indeed lifted up my hand, that the nations who are round about you— these shall bear their shame.

8 तर, ए इस्राएलका पहाडहरू, तिमीहरूले हाँगाहरू बढाउनेछौ र तिमीहरूले मेरा मानिस इस्राएलका लागि फल दिनेछौ, किनभने तिनीहरू छिटै तिमीहरूकहाँ फर्केर आउनेछन् ।

But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall send forth your boughs, and your fruit shall ye bear for my people Israel, for they are near at hand to come.

9 किनकि हेर, म तिमीहरूका निम्ति हुँ, र म तिमीहरूलाई कृपा दृष्‍टिले व्यवहार गर्नेछु । तिमीहरूको खनजोत गरिने र बीउ छरिनेछ ।

For, behold, I will be for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and ye shall be sown;

10 यसैले तिमीहरूमाथि म मानिसहरूका सङ्‍ख्‍या, इस्राएलका सारा घरानालाई बढाउनेछु । सहरहरूमा बसोबास हुनेछ र भग्‍नावशेषहरू पुनःनिर्माण गरिनेछन् ।

And I will multiply upon you men, all the house of Israel— altogether; and the cities shall be inhabited again, and the ruins shall be rebuilt;

11 ए पर्वतहरू, तिमीहरूमा मानिस र पशुका सङ्‍ख्‍यालाई म वृद्धि गराउनेछु ताकि तिनीहरू फल्दै-फुल्दै र वृद्धि हुँदै जानेछन् । त्‍यसपछि पहिलेझैं तिमीहरूमा म बसोबास गराउनेछु, र तिमीहरूको समृद्धि विगतमा भएको भन्दा बढी गराउनेछु, ककिनकि तिमीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछौ ।

And I will multiply upon you men and beast, and they shall increase and be fruitful; and I will cause you to be inhabited after your old estates, and will do more good unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.

12 तिमीहरूमा हिंड्‍नलाई मेरा मानिसहरू अर्थात् इस्राएलीहरूलाई म ल्‍याउनेछु । तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूमाथि अधिकार गर्नेछन्, र तिमीहरू तिनीहरूका उत्तराधिकार हुनेछौ, र तिमीहरूले तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीलाई मर्न दिनेछैनौ ।

Yea, I will cause to walk upon you men, even my people Israel, and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be unto them as an inheritance, and thou shalt not any more henceforth cast them out.

13 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: किनभने तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई भनेका छन्, “तिमीहरूले मानिसहरू नष्‍ट गर्छौ, र आफ्नो जातिलाई शोकमा पार्छौ,”

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast been one that hath ever cast out thy nations:

14 यसकारण तिमीहरूले फेरि मानिसहरूलाई भष्‍म गर्नेछैनौ, र तिनीहरूले आफ्ना जातिलाई मृत्‍युको शोकमा पार्नेछैनौ । यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।

Therefore shalt thou not devour up men any more, and thy nations shalt thou not cast out any more, saith the Lord Eternal.

15 न त म तिमीहरूलाई जातिहरूको अपमान फेरि सुन्‍न दिनेछु । तिमीहरूले फेरि कहिल्यै मानिसहरूको लाजलाई सहनुपर्नेछैन न त तिमीहरूको जातिको पतन हुनेछ, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।’”

And I will not let be heard against thee any more the reproach of the nations, and the disgrace of the people shalt thou not bear any more, and thy nations shalt thou not cast out any more, saith the Lord Eternal.

16 तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,

17 “ए मानिसको छोरा, जब इस्राएलको घराना आफ्नो देशमा बसोबास गरे, तब तिनीहरूले त्यस देशलाई आफ्ना चालहरू र कामहरूले अशुद्ध पारे । मेरा सामु तिनीहरूका चालहरू स्‍त्रीको रजस्वलाको अशुद्धताझैं थिए ।

Son of man, the house of Israel, when they dwelt in their own land, defiled it through their way and through their doings: like the uncleanness of a woman in her separation was their way before me.

18 यसैले तिनीहरूले त्यो देशमा बगाएका रगत र आफ्‍ना मूर्तिहरूले अशुद्ध बनाएका कारणले मैले तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा आफ्‍नो क्रोध खन्याएँ ।

And I poured out my fury over them because of the blood that they had shed in the land, and because through their idols they had polluted it;

19 मैले तिनीहरूलाई जातिहरूका बिचमा छरपष्‍ट पारें । तिनीहरू देशहरूमा तितरबितर भए । तिनीहरूका चालहरू र कामहरूअनुसार मैले तिनीहरूको न्याय गरें ।

And I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings did I judge them.

20 त्यसपछि तिनीहरू जातिहरूकहाँ गए, र तिनीहरू जहाँ-जहाँ गए, तिनीहरूले मेरो नाउँलाई अशुद्ध पारे । मानिसहरूले तिनीहरूका विषयमा यसो भने, ‘के यिनीहरू साँच्‍चै नै परमप्रभुका मानिसहरू हुन्? किनकि यिनीहरू त उहाँको देशबाट बाहिर फालिएका छन् ।’

And when they were come unto the nations, whither they were gone, they profaned my holy name; because they said of them, These are the people of the Lord, and out of his land are they gone forth.

21 तर इस्राएलको घराना जातिहरूका बिचमा हुँदा तिनीहरूले मेरो नाउँलाई अशुद्ध पारेका हुनाले मेरो नाउँप्रति ममा दया जाग्‍यो ।

But I had pity for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations, whither they were gone.

22 यसकारण इस्राएलको घरानालाई यसो भन्, ‘परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: ए इस्राएलको घराना, यो मैले तेरो निम्ति गरेको होइन, तर मेरो पवित्र नाउँको खातिर हो, जसलाई तिमीहरू जहाँ गयौ, त्‍यहाँ तिमीहरूले अशुद्ध पारेका छौ ।

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Not for your sake do I this, O house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy name, which ye have profaned among the nations, whither ye are gone.

23 किनकि तिमीहरूले जातिहरूका बिचमा अशुद्ध बनाएका मेरो महान् नाउँलाई म पवित्र बनाउनेछु । जातिहरूका बिचमा तिमीहरुले त्‍यसलाई अशुद्ध बनयौ । तब म पवित्र छु भनी तिमीहरूले देखेपछि ती जातिहरूले म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी जान्‍नेछन्, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord Eternal, when I will be sanctified through you before your eyes.

24 तिमीहरूलाई जातिहरू निकाल्‍नेछु र हरेक देशबाट तिमीहरूलाई भेला पार्नेछु र तिमीहरूका आफ्नो देशमा तिमीहरूलाई म ल्याउनेछु ।

And I will take you from among the nations, and I will gather you out of all the countries, and I will bring you unto your own land.

25 त्‍यसपछि तिमीहरूमाथि म पवित्र पानी छर्किनेछु, यसरी तिमीहरू आफ्‍ना सबै अशुद्धताबाट शुद्ध हुनेछौ, र तिमीहरूका सबै मूर्तिहरूबाट म तिमीहरूलाई शुद्ध पर्नेछु ।

And I will sprinkle upon you clean water, and ye shall be clean: from all your impurities, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 तिमीहरूका अन्तस्करणमा म तिमीहरूलाई एउटा नयाँ हृदय र नयाँ आत्मा दिनेछु, र तिमीहरूका शरीरबाट ढुङ्गाको हृदय म निकाल्‍नेछु । किनभने म तिमीहरूलाई मासुको हृदय दिनेछु ।

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit will I put within you; and I will remove the heart of stone out of your body, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

27 तिमीहरूमा म आफ्‍नो आत्मा हालिदिनेछु र तिमीहरूलाई मेरा विधिहरूमा हिंड्न र मेरा आज्ञाहरू पालन गर्न सक्षम तुल्‍याउनेछु ।

And my spirit I will put within you, and I will cause that you shall walk in my statutes, and that my ordinances ye shall keep, and do them.

28 तब मैले तिमीहरूका पुर्खाहरूलाई दिएको देशमा तिमीहरू बसोबास गर्नेछौ । तिमीहरू मेरा मानिसहरू हुनेछौ, र म तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वर हुनेछु ।

And ye shall dwell in the land which I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be unto me for a people, and I truly will be unto you as a God.

29 किनकि म तिमीहरूलाई सबै अशुद्धताबाट बचाउनेछु । म अन्‍नलाई आज्ञा गर्नेछु र त्‍यसलाई बढाउनेछु । तिमीहरूमा म अनिकाल पेरि कहिलै ल्याउनेछैनँ ।

And I will save you from all kinds of your impurities; and I will call unto the corn, and increase it, and I will not lay famine upon you.

30 रूखको फल र भूमिको उब्जनी म बढाउनेछु ताकि तिमीहरूले जातिहरूका बिचमा फेरि कहिल्यै अनिकालको लाज सहनेछैनौ ।

And I will multiply the fruit of the trees, and the products of the field: in order that ye may receive no more reproach on account of famine among the nations.

31 त्यसपछि आफ्ना दुष्‍ट चालहरू र आफ्‍ना कामहरू जो असल थिएनन् सो तिमीहरूले याद गर्नेछौ, र तिमीहरूका आफ्ना पापहरू र आफ्ना घिनलाग्दा कामहरूका कारणले तिमीहरूले आफ्‍ना अनुहारहरूमा घृणा प्रदर्शन गर्नेछौ ।

Then shall ye remember your ways that they were evil, and your doings that were not good; and ye shall loathe yourselves on account of your iniquities and on account of your abominations.

32 यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो, यो तिमीहरूलाई थाहा होस् कि यो मैले तिमीहरूका निम्ति गरेको होइन । यसैले, ए इस्राएलको घराना, आफ्ना चालहरूका कारणले लज्‍जित र अपमानित होओ ।

Not for your sake do I this, saith the Lord Eternal, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded because of your ways, O house of Israel.

33 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: तिमीहरूका सबै अपराधहरूबाट मैले तिमीहरूलाई शुद्ध पारेको दिनमा, म तिमीहरूलाई सहरहरूमा बसोबास गराउनेछु र भग्‍नावशेषहरूलाई पुनर्निर्माण गर्न लगाउनेछु ।

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, On the day of my cleansing you from all your iniquities, when I cause the cities to be inhabited, and when the ruins are built up,

34 किनभने तिमीहरूले बाँझो जमिनलाई खनजोत गर्नेछौ र त्यसको नजिकबाट जानेहरूका आँखामा त्यो अब फेर बाँझो हुनेछैन ।

And when the desolate land is tilled, instead that it was a waste before the eyes of every passer by:

35 तब तिनीहरूले भन्‍नेछन्, “यो जमिन उजाड थियो, तर यो अब अदनको बगैंचाजस्‍तो भएको छ । भत्काइएका उजाड सहरहरू र निर्जन बाँझो जमिनहरू, अब किलाबन्दी गरिएका र बसोबास गर्छन् ।”

Then shall they say, This land, that was desolate, is become like the garden of 'Eden; and the cities that were ruined, and desolate, and broken down, are become fortified, and inhabited.

36 तब म नै परमप्रभु, मैले नै भग्‍नावशेषलाई बनाएँ र त्‍यागिएका ठाउँहरूलाई पुनः स्‍थापित गरें भनी तिमीहरूका वरिपरिका अरू जातिहरूले जान्‍नेछन् । म परमप्रभु हुँ । मैले यो घोषणा गरेको छु र म यो गर्नेछु ।

And the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the Lord have built up the broken-down [places], have planted the desolate [land]: I the Lord have spoken this, and have done it.

37 परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्छ: इस्राएलको घरानालाई मानिसहरूका बगालझैं वृद्धि गरिदिन तिनीहरूले मलाई फेरि बिन्ती गर्नेछन् ।

Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Also in this will I yet suffer myself to be entreated of by the house of Israel, to do it for them, I will increase them with men like flocks [in multitude].

38 जस्‍तो बलिदानको निम्ति बगाललाई अलग गरिन्‍छ, जस्‍तो तोकिएका चाडहरूमा यरूशलेममा बगाल हुन्‍छन्, त्‍यस्‍तै भग्‍नावशेष भएका सहरहरू मानिसहरूका बगालले भरिनेछन् र म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन् ।’”

As the flocks of the holy things, as the flocks of Jerusalem on her appointed feasts, so shall the ruined cities be full of flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
