इजकिएल 3
1 उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, तैंले जे पाएको छस् त्यो खा । यो मुट्ठो खा, र गएर इस्राएलको घरानालाई भन् ।”
He said to me, “You human, eat this scroll that is in front of you. Then go and speak to the Israeli people [MTY].”
2 यसैले मैले आफ्नो मुख खोलें, र उहाँले त्यो मुट्ठो मलाई खुवाउनुभयो ।
So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat it.
3 उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, मैले तँलाई दिएको त्यो मुट्ठो खा र यसले तेरो पेट भर ।” यसैले मैले त्यो खाएँ, र त्यो मेरो मुखमा महझैं गुलियो थियो ।
Then he said to me, “You human, eat the scroll that I have given to you. Fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and in my mouth it tasted as sweet as honey.
4 तब उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, इस्राएलको घरानाकहाँ जा, र तिनीहरूलाई मेरो कुरा भन् ।
Then he said to me, “You human, go to the Israeli people [MTY] and tell them my message.
5 किनकि तँ कुनै अनौठो बोली र कठिन भाषा बोल्ने मानिसहरूकहाँ पठाइएको छैनस्, तर इस्राएलको घरानाकहाँ—
The people to whom I am sending you are not people whose language is very [to learn], a language which you do not understand. I am sending you to your Israeli people [MTY].
6 अनौठो बोली र कठिन भाषा बोल्ने धैरै जना मानिसकहाँ होइन, जसको भाषा तैंले बुझ्दैनस् । मैले तँलाई त्यस्ताहरूकहाँ पठाएको भए, उनीहरूले निश्चय नै तेरा कुरा सुन्नेथिए ।
I am sending you to people whose language you understand very well. If I were sending you to people whose language was difficult for you to understand, they [be surprised and] pay attention to what [say to them].
7 तर इस्राएलका घरानाले त तेरो कुरा सुन्ने इच्छा गर्नेछैनन्, किनभने तिनीहरू मेरो कुरा सुन्न इच्छा गर्दैनन् । यसैले इस्राएलका सारा घराना नै अटेरी र कठोर हृदयका छन् ।
But the Israeli people do not want to listen to you because they do not want to listen to me. [They do not want to listen because] they are all very stubborn [DOU].
8 हेर, मैले तेरो अनुहारलाई तिनीहरूका अनुहारजस्तै हठी र तेरो निधाारलाई तिनीहरूको निधारजस्तै कठोर तुल्याएको छु ।
But I will enable you [SYN] to be as stubborn and tough as they are.
9 मैले तेरो निधारलाई दर्शनढुङ्गाभन्दा कडा एउटा हिराजस्तै पारेको छु। तिनीहरू विद्रोही घराना भए तापनि तिनीहरूदेखि नडरा, न त तिनीहरूको अनुहार देखेर भयभीत हो ।”
I will cause you to be as firm/unbreakable as [SIM] the hardest stone, like flint. So, [even though] they are very rebellious people, do not be afraid of them; do not allow them to cause you to be afraid.”
10 अनि उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, मैले तँलाई भनेका सबै कुरा — ती आफ्नो मनमा राख् र ती आफ्ना कानले सुन् ।
He also said to me, “You human, listen very carefully to what I say, and keep thinking about it [IDM].
11 त्यसपछि कैदमा परेका तेरा मानिसहरूकहाँ जा, र तिनीहरूलाई भन् । तिनीहरूले सुने पनि नसुने पनि तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ' ।”
Go to your fellow Israelis who [here after being] (exiled/forced to leave their country), and speak to them. Say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says,’ [and then tell them my message], whether they want to hear it or whether they do not want to hear it.”
12 तब आत्माले मलाई माथि उठाउनुभयो, र मैले आफ्नो पछिल्तिर ठुलो भुकम्पको आवाज सुनेंः “परमप्रभुको महिमा उहाँको वासस्थानमा धन्यको होस्!”
[in the vision] the [of God] lifted me up, and I heard behind [someone speaking very loudly], like a loud rumbling sound. [I heard someone say, ] “Praise our glorious Yahweh in the place where he [in heaven]!”
13 त्यो आवाज ती जीवित प्राणीहरूका पखेटाले एउटाले अर्कालाई छुँदा निस्केको र तिनीहरूसँग भएका ती पाङ्ग्राहरूका आवाज थियो, र एउटा ठुलो भुकम्पको आवाज थियो ।
[I heard] the sound of the wings of the four living creatures brushing against each other, [I also heard] the sound of the wheels that were beside them. It was a loud rumbling sound.
14 आत्माले मलाई माथि उठाउनुभयो र मलाई टाढा लानुभयो, र म आफ्नो आत्माको क्रोधमा तीतोपन लिएर गएँ, किनकि परमप्रभुको बलिष्ठ बाहुलीले मलाई शक्तिसाथ थिचिरहेको थियो ।
The Spirit took me away. Within me I was very bitter and angry [DOU], but I felt Yahweh holding me very powerfully.
15 तब म कबार नहरको नजिक बस्ने ती कैदीहरूकहाँ तेल-अबीबमा गएँ, र त्यहाँ सात दिनसम्म तिनीहरूसँग आश्चर्यले व्याकुल भएर म बसें ।
I came to the exiles who lived at Tel [town] near the Kebar River/ [south of Babylon]. Then, where they were living, I sat for seven days. I was [about everything that I had seen].
16 तब सात दिनको अन्त्यमा परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
After those seven days had ended, Yahweh gave me this message:
17 “ए मानिसको छोरो, मैले तँलाई इस्राएलका घरानाको रक्षक तुल्याएको छु, यसैले मैरो मुखको वचन सुन् र तिनीहरूलाई मेरो चेताउनी दे ।
“You human, I am appointing [to be like] a watchman [MET] for the Israeli people [MTY]. [So] listen to these messages that I will give you, and tell them those messages to warn them.
18 जब म एक जना दुष्ट मानिसलाई 'तँ निश्चय नै मर्नेछस्' भन्छु, र त्यसको प्राण बचाउनलाई तैंले त्यसलाई चेताउनी दिइनस्, वा त्यसको दुष्ट चालको लागि त्यसको विरुद्ध सल्लाह दिइनस्—भने, त्यो मानिस पापको कारण मर्नेछ, तर म त्यसको रगत तेरो हातबाट लिनेछु ।
When I say about some wicked people, ‘They will surely [because of their sins],’ if you do not warn them or tell them that they must turn from their wicked behavior if they want to (save their lives/remain alive), those wicked people will die because of the sins that they have committed, but I will consider that you are responsible for their deaths [MTY].
19 तर तैंले त्यस दुष्ट मानिसलाई चेताउनी दिइस् र त्यो आफ्नो दुष्ट्याइँ अथवा आफ्नो दुष्ट कामहरूदेखि फर्कंदैन भने, त्यो आफ्नो पापको कारण मर्नेछ, तर तैंले चाहिं आफ्नो प्राण बचाएको हुनेछस् ।
But if you warn the wicked people and they do not turn from all their wicked behavior [DOU], they will die because of their sins, but you will have saved [from my punishing you].
20 धर्मी मानिस आफ्नो धार्मिकताबाट फर्केर दुष्ट्याइँ गर्छ, र त्यसको लागि ठक्कर खाने ढुङ्गो मैले राखें भने त्यो मर्नेछ । तैंले त्यसलाई चेताउनी नदिएको हुनाले त्यो आफ्नै पापमा मर्नेछ, र त्यसले गरेका धर्मिक कामहरूको सम्झना म राख्नेछैन, तर त्यसका रगत लेखा म तेरो हातबाट लिनेछु ।
Similarly, when righteous people turn from their righteous behavior and do evil deeds, I will cause bad things to happen [IDM] to them. [But you must warn them. If you do not warn them], and if they do not stop their sinful behavior, they will die because of their sins; I will not think about the righteous things that they [previously], but I will consider that you are responsible for their deaths [MTY].
21 तर त्यस धर्मी मानिसलाई पाप नगर् भनी तैंले चेताउनी दिइस् ताकि त्यसले पाप गरेन भने, उसले चेतावनी पाएको कारणले त्यो निश्चय नै बाँच्नेछ । अनि तैंले आफ्नो प्राण बचाएको हुनेछस् ।”
But if you warn righteous people not to sin, and they do not sin, they will surely remain alive because they [your] warning, and you will have saved [from my punishing you].”
22 यसरी त्यहाँ परमप्रभुको हात ममाथि रह्यो र उहाँले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “उठ्, मैदानमा जा, र त्यहाँ म तँसित बोल्नेछु ।”
[I felt] Yahweh take control [MTY] of me, and he said to me, “Get up and go [from the city down] to the plain/valley, and there I will speak to you.”
23 म उठें र बाहिर मैदानमा गएँ, र कबार नहरको किनारमा मैले देखेको जस्तो परमप्रभुको महिमा त्यहाँ पनि थियो । यसैले म घोप्टो परें ।
So I got up and went down to the valley. And I saw the glory of Yahweh there, like the glory that I had seen along the Kebar River/Canal. And I prostrated myself on the ground.
24 आत्मा ममा आउनुभयो, र मलाई खुट्टामा उभ्याउनुभयो; र उहाँले मसित बोल्नुभयो, र मलाई भन्नुभयो, “जा, र आफ्नो घरभित्र आफूलाई थुन्,
Then the [of God] entered me and enabled me to stand up. He said to me, “Go into your house and stay inside it.
25 किनकि अब ए मानिसको छोरो, तिनीहरूले तँलाई डोरीले बाँध्नेछन्, र तँ बाँधिनेछस्, यसैले तँ तिनीहरूका बिचमा जान सक्दैनस् ।
People will tie you with ropes, with the result that you will be unable to go out among the people.
26 तेरो जिब्रो म तेरो तालुमा टाँसिदिनेछु, यसरी तँ गूँगो हुनेछस्, र तैंले तिनीहरूलाई हप्काउन सक्नेछैनस्, किनकि तिनीहरू विद्रोही घरानाका हुन् ।
[Even though] they are very rebellious people, I will cause your tongue to stick to the roof of your mouth, with the result that you will be unable to talk and to rebuke them.
27 तर जब म तँसित कुरा गर्छु, तब म तेरो मुख खोलिदिनेछु, यसरी तैंले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नेछस्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ।' सुन्ने व्यक्तिले सुन्नेछ । नसुन्ने व्यक्तिले सुन्नेछैन, किनकि तिनीहरू विद्रोही घरानाका हुन् ।”
[then] when I speak to [again], I will enable you to talk [MTY], and you will say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says,’ [and you will tell them my message]. Those who are willing to [to what you say] will listen, [many] will refuse to listen, because they are rebellious people [MTY].”
