इजकिएल 28
1 तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, टुरोसको शासकलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तेरो हृदय अहंकारी छ । तैंले भनेको छस्, “म एक देवता हुँ । म समुद्रको बिचमा एक देवताको आसनमा बस्नेछु!” तँ एक जना मानिस मात्र होस्, र देवता होइनस्, तापनि तैंले आफ्नो हृदयलाई एक देवताको हृदय जत्तिकै बनाउँछस् ।
'Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyre: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thy heart is lifted up, and thou hast said: I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the heart of the seas; yet thou art man, and not God, though thou didst set thy heart as the heart of God —
3 तँ आफैलाई दानिएलभन्दा पनि बुद्धिमान् होस् र कुनै गुप्त कुराले तँलाई छक्क पार्दैन भनी सम्झन्छस् ।
Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel! there is no secret that they can hide from thee!
4 तैंले बुद्धि र सिपले आफैंलाई सम्पन्न तुल्याएको छस् र आफ्नो भण्डारहरूमा सुन र चाँदी थुपारेको छस् ।
By thy wisdom and by thy discernment thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures;
5 ठुलो बुद्धि र आफ्नो व्यापारले तैंले आफ्नो धन-सम्पत्ति बढाएको छस् । यसैले आफ्नो धन-सम्पत्तिको कारणले तेरो हृदय अहंकारी छ ।
In thy great wisdom by thy traffic hast thou increased thy riches, and thy heart is lifted up because of thy riches —
6 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तैंले आफ्नो हृदय देवताको हृदयजस्तै बनाएको कारणले,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Because thou hast set thy heart as the heart of God;
7 विदेशीहरू, अरू जातिका डरलाग्दा मानिसहरूलाई म तेरो विरुद्धमा ल्याउनेछु । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना तरवार तेरो बुद्धिको सौन्दर्यको विरुद्धमा थुत्नेछन्, र तेरो गौरवलाई अपवित्र पार्नेछन् ।
Therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
8 तिनीहरूले तँलाई तल खाडलमा पुर्याउनेछन्, र समुद्रको बिचमा मर्नेहरूझैं तेरो मृत्यु हुनेछ ।
They shall bring thee down to the pit; and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain, in the heart of the seas.
9 तँलाई मार्नेहरूका सामु के तँ अझै पनि “म देवता हुँ” भन्नेछस् र? तँ मानिस होस्, र देवता होइन, र तँलाई छेड्नेहरूका हातमा तँ हुनेछस् ।
Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee: I am God? But thou art man, and not God, in the hand of them that defile thee.
10 विदेशीहरूका हातबाट तँ खतना नगर्नेहरूझैं मर्नेछस्, किनकि मैले यो घोषणा गरेको छु— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो' ।”
Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken, saith the Lord GOD.'
11 परमप्रभुको वचन फेरि मकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
12 “ए मानिसको छोरो, टुरोसका राजाको निम्ति विलाप गर्, र त्यसलाई भन्: 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः तँ सिद्धताको नमूना, अनि बुद्धिले पूर्ण र सुन्दरमा सिद्ध थिइस् ।
'Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say unto him: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Thou seal most accurate, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty,
13 परमेश्वरको बगैंचा अदनमा तँ थिइस् । हरेक बहुमूल्य पत्थरले तँ सिंगारिएको थिइस्: मानिक, पुष्पराज, पन्ना, पीतमणि, आनिक्स, बिल्लौर, नीर, फिरोजा र बेरूजले तँ आभूषित थिइस् । तेरा साज-सज्जा र प्रदर्शन सुनले बनेका थिए । तेरो सृष्टि भएको दिनमा नै ती तयार पारिएका थिए ।
thou wast in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the carnelian, the topaz, and the emerald, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the carbuncle, and the smaragd, and gold; the workmanship of thy settings and of thy sockets was in thee, in the day that thou wast created they were prepared.
14 मानिसहरूका सुरक्षा गर्न मैले तँलाई करूबलाई झैं अभिषेक गरेर मैले तँलाई परमेश्वरको पवित्र डाँडामा राखें । अग्निमय पत्थरहरूका बिचमा तँ थिइस्, जहाँ तँ हिंड्थिस् ।
Thou wast the far-covering cherub; and I set thee, so that thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of stones of fire.
15 तेरो सृष्ट गरिएको दिनदेखि तँमा अन्याय फेला नपरेसम्म, तेरो चालमा तँ दोषरहित थिइस् ।
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till unrighteousness was found in thee.
16 तेरा ठुलो व्यापारले तँ उपद्रवले भरिइस्, र तैंले पाप गरिस् । यसैले अशुद्ध भएको व्यक्तिलाई झैं मैले तँलाई परमेश्वरको डाँडाबाट बाहिर फालें, र मैले तँलाई नष्ट गरें, ए अभिभावक करूब, र मैले तँलाई अग्निमय पत्थरहरूका बिचदेखि धपाएँ ।
By the multitude of thy traffic they filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore have I cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God; and I have destroyed thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 तेरो सुन्दरताले गर्दा तेरो हृदय अहंकारी थियो । तेरो गौरवको कारणले तैंले आफ्नो बुद्धिलाई भ्रष्ट पारिस् । मैले तँलाई जमिनमा फालेको छु । मैले तँलाई राजाहरूका अगि राखेको छु, यसरी तिनीहरूले तँलाई देख्नेछन् ।
Thy heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness; I have cast thee to the ground, I have laid thee before kings, that they may gaze upon thee.
18 तेरा धेरै पाप र बेईमान व्यापारको कारणले तैंले आफ्ना पवित्र ठाउँहरूलाई बिटुलो पारेको छस् । यसैले मैले तँबाटै एउटा आगो निकालेको छु । त्यसले तँलाई भस्म पार्नेछ। तँलाई नियालेर हेर्नेहरू सबैका दृष्टिमा म तँलाई जमिनमा खरानी तुल्याउनेछु ।
By the multitude of thine iniquities, in the unrighteousness of thy traffic, thou hast profaned thy sanctuaries; therefore have I brought forth a fire from the midst of thee, it hath devoured thee, and I have turned thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 मानिसहरूका माझमा तँलाई चिन्नेहरू तँलाई देखेर भयभीत हुनेछन् । तिनीहरू डराउनेछन्, र तँ फेरि कहिल्यै रहनेछैनस्' ।”
All they that know thee among the peoples shall be appalled at thee; thou art become a terror, and thou shalt never be any more.'
20 त्यसपछि परमप्रभुको वचन मकहाँ यसो भनेर आयो,
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:
21 “ए मानिसको छोरो, सीदोनतिर तेरो मुख फर्का, र त्यसको विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी गर् ।
'Son of man, set thy face toward Zidon, and prophesy against it,
22 यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः हेर्, ए सीदोन, म तेरो विरुद्धमा छु । तेरो माझमा मेरो महिमा हुनेछ । मैले तँभित्र न्याय गर्दा, म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तेरा मानिसहरूले जान्नेछन् । तँभित्र म पवित्र प्रकट हुनेछु ।
and say: Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon, and I will be glorified in the midst of thee; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
23 तँभित्र एउटा रूढी पठाउने, र त्यसका गल्लीहरूमा रगत म बगाउनेछु । मारिनेहरू तेरो बिचमा ढल्नेछन् । जब चारैतिरबाट तेरो विरुद्धमा तरवारले आउनेछन्, तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्नेछन् ।
For I will send into her pestilence and blood in her streets; and the wounded shall fall in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
24 तब इस्राएलका घरानालाई, त्यसका मानिसहरूलाई घृणा गर्न त्यसका वरिपरि कसैबाट पनि दुःख दिने सिउँडी र तीखा काँढाहरू फेरि कहिल्यै हुनेछैनन् । यसरी तिनीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुँ भनी जान्नेछन् ।
And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor a piercing thorn of any that are round about them, that did have them in disdain; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
25 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘जब इस्राएलका घरानालाई तिनीहरू छरपष्ट भएका मानिसहरूका माझबाट म भेला गर्छु, र तब तिनीहरूलाई अलग गर्नेछु, यसरी जातिहरूले देख्न सक्छन् । त्यसपछि मेरो दास याकूबलाई मैले दिने देशमा तिनीहरूले आफ्ना मन्दिरहरू बनाउनेछन् ।
Thus saith the Lord GOD: When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the nations, then shall they dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.
26 त्यसपछि तिनीहरू त्यसभित्र सुरक्षित रहनेछन्, र मन्दिरहरू बनाउनेछन्, दाखबारी लगाउनेछन् । अनि तिनीहरूलाई घृणा गर्ने वरिपरिका सबैलाई मेले न्याय गर्दा, तिनीहरू त्यहाँ सुरक्षित रहनेछन् । तब तिनीहरूले म नै परमप्रभु तिनीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ भनी जान्नेछन्' ।”
And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell safely; when I have executed judgments upon all those that have them in disdain round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.'
