इजकिएल 23
1 'परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying,
2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, एउटै आमाका दुई छोरीहरू त्यहाँ थिए ।
Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother:
3 आफ्नो जवानी दिनमा तिनीहरूले मिश्रदेशमा वेश्यावृति गरे । तिनीहरूले त्यहाँ वेश्याको काम गरे । त्यहाँ तिनीहरूका स्तन मिचिए र तिनीहरूको कुमारी अवस्थाको मुन्टाहरू खेलाइए ।
and they went a-whoring in Egypt in their youth: there their breasts fell, there they lost their virginity.
4 तिनिहरूमा दिदीको नाउँ ओहोला र बहिनीको नाउँ ओहोलिबा थियो । तब तिनीहरू मेरा भए, र तिनीहरूले छोराछोरी जन्माए । तिनीहरूका नाउँको अर्थ यही होः ओहोलाको अर्थ सामरिया र ओहोलिबाको अर्थ यरूशलेम हो ।
And their names were Oola the elder, and Ooliba her sister: and they were mine, and bore sons and daughters: and [as for] their names, Samaria was Oola, and Jerusalem was Ooliba.
5 तर मेरै भएको बेलामा पनि ओहोलाले वेश्यावृत्ति गरी । आफ्ना प्रेमी, प्रभावशाली अश्शूरीहरूसित त्यो मोहित भई,
And Oola went a-whoring from me, and doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians that were her neighbors,
6 नीलो वस्त्र लाउने गभर्नर र तिनका अधिकारीहरू, जो बलिया र सुन्दर थिए, ती सबै जना घोडा चढ्ने मानिसहरू थिए ।
clothed with purple, princes and captains; [they were] young men and choice, all horseman riding on horses.
7 यसरी तिनीहरू, सबै असल अश्शूरी मानिसहरूलाई त्यसले आफैलाई सुम्पिदिई, र त्यो मोहित भएका हरेक व्यक्तिसँग अनि तिनीहरूका सबै मूर्तिहरूसँग त्यसले आफैलाई अशुद्ध पारी ।
And she bestowed her fornication upon them; all were choice sons of the Assyrians: and on whomsoever she doted herself, with them she defiled herself in all [their] devices.
8 किनकि त्यसले मिश्रदेशमा हुँदा पनि त्यसको वेश्यावृतिको व्यवहार छाडेकी थिईन । जति बेला त्यो एउटी जवान केटी थिई, त्यति बेला तिनीहरू त्योसित सुतेका थिए । त्यति बेला तिनीहरूले पहिलो पल्ट त्यसका कन्या स्तनहरू खेलाएका थिए । त्यति बेला तिनीहरूले त्यससित आफ्ना यौनका छाडा व्यवहार गर्न सुरु गरेका थिए ।
And she forsook not her fornication with the Egyptians: for in her youth they committed fornication with her, and they deflowered her, and poured out their fornication upon her.
9 यसकारण त्यसका प्रेमीहरूका हातमा अर्थात् अश्शूरीहरूका हातमा मैले त्यसलाई सुम्पिदिएँ, जोसँग त्यो मोहित भई ।
Therefore I delivered her into the hands of her lovers, into the hands of the children of the Assyrians, on whom she doted.
10 तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई नाङ्गो पारे, त्यसका छोराछोरीलाई लगे, त्यसलाई तरवारले मारे र अरू स्त्रीहरूका माझमा त्यो कुख्यात भई । यसरी तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई दण्ड दिए ।
They uncovered her shame: they took her sons and daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became a byword among women: and they wrought vengeance in her for the sake of the daughters.
11 त्यसकी बहिनी ओहोलिबाले त्यो कुरा देखी, तर त्यो झन् बढी कामुक भई र आफ्नी दिदीभन्दा पनि बढी वेश्यावृत्तिको काम गर्न लागी ।
And her sister Ooliba saw [it], and she indulged in her fondness more corruptly than she, and in her fornication more than the fornication of her sister.
12 अश्शूरीहरू, तिनका गभर्नरहरू र आकर्षक किसिमले वस्त्र पहिरिने अधिकारीहरूसँग त्यो कामुक भई, जो घोडा चढ्ने मानिसहरू थिए । ती सबै जना बलिया र सुन्दर मानिसहरू थिए ।
She doted upon the sons of the Assyrian, princes and captains, her neighbours, clothed with fine linen, horsemen riding on horses; [they were] all choice young men.
13 त्यसले आफैलाई अशुद्ध पारेकी मैले देखें । ती दुवै जना दिदीबहिनी उस्तै थिए ।
And I saw that they were defiled, [that] the two [had] one way.
14 त्यसपछि त्यसले आफ्नो वेश्यावृत्ति झन् बढाई । भित्तामा कोरिएका मानिसहरू, भित्तामा रातो रङ्गले पेन्ट गरेर बनाइएका कल्दीहरूका चित्रहरू त्यसले देखी,
And she increased her fornication, and she saw men painted on the wall, likenesses of the Chaldeans painted with a pencil,
15 आफ्ना कम्मर वरिपरि पटुका बाँधेका र आफ्ना शिरमा लट्कने फेटा बाँधेका । ती सबै जना कल्दी फौजका रथी अधिकारीहरूजस्ता, बेबिलोनियाका छोराहरूजस्तै देखिन्थे, जसको आफ्नो देश कल्दीया हो ।
having variegated girdles on their loins, having also richly dyed [attire] upon their heads; all had a princely appearance, the likeness of the children of the Chaldeans, of their native land.
16 त्यसले उनीहरूलाई देख्ने बित्तिकै उनीहरूका निम्ति त्यो कामुक भई । यसैले कल्दिया देशमा उनीहरूकहाँ त्यसले दूतहरू पठाई ।
And she doted upon them as soon as she saw them, and sent forth messengers to them into the land of the Chaldeans.
17 त्यसपछि बेबिलोनीहरू त्यसकहाँ त्यसको कामुक ओच्छ्यानमा आए र आफ्ना छाडा यौनले तिनीहरूले त्यसलाई अशुद्ध पारे । त्यसले जे गरेकी थिई त्यसद्वारा त्यो अशुद्ध भई । यसरी मनमा घृणा बोकेर त्यो उनीहरूसँग टाढा भई ।
And the sons of Babylon came to her, into the bed of rest, and they defiled her in her fornication, and she was defiled by them, and her soul was alienated from them.
18 जब त्यसले आफ्ना वेश्यावृत्तिका कामहरू गरी र आफ्नो नग्नता देखाई, तब जसरी मनमा घृणा बोकेर त्यसकी दिदीसँग म टाढा भएको थिएँ, त्यसरी नै म त्योसँग पनि टाढा भएँ ।
And she exposed her fornication, and exposed her shame: and my soul was alienated from her, even as my soul was alienated from her sister.
19 तब मिश्रदेशमा त्यो वेश्या हुँदाको, आफ्ना युवावस्थाका समयलाई सम्झेर त्यसले आफ्नो वेश्यावृत्ति झन् बढाई ।
And thou didst multiply thy fornication, so as to call to remembrance the days of thy youth, wherein thou didst commit whoredom in Egypt,
20 यसरी त्यो आफ्ना प्रेमीहरूसित कामुक भई, जसका गुताङ्गहरू गधाहरूका जस्ता थिए, अनि जसका वीर्य घोडाहरूका झैं निस्कन्थ्यो ।
and thou didst dote upon the Chaldeans, whose flesh is as the flesh of the asses, and their members [as] the members of horses.
21 मिश्रीहरूले तेरा स्तनका मुन्टाहरू खेलाउँदा र तेरा जवानीका स्तनहरू मिच्दा, तैंले आफ्ना जवानीका लज्जापूर्ण कामहरू यसरी नै गरिस् ।
And thou didst look upon the iniquity of thy youth, [the things] which thou wroughtest in Egypt in thy lodgings, where were the breasts of thy youth.
22 यसैकारण ए ओहोलिबा, परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः ‘हेर्, तेरा प्रेमीहरूलाई म तेरो विरुद्धमा उठाउनेछु । जसबाट तँ टाढा भईस्, उनीहरूलाई चारैतिरबाट म तेरो विरुद्धमा ल्याउनेछुः
Therefore, Ooliba, thus saith the Lord; Behold, I [will] stir up thy lovers against thee, from whom thy soul is alienated, and I will bring them upon thee round about,
23 बेबिलोनीहरू र सबै कल्दीहरू, पकोद, शोअ र कोअका मानिसहरू, र तिनीहरूसँगै सबै अश्शूरहरू, बलिया, सुन्दर मानिसहरू, गभर्नरहरू, कमाण्डरहरू, ती सबै जना अधिकारीहरू र इज्जतदार मानिसहरूलाई, घोडामा सवार सबै जना मानिसहरूलाई ।
the children of Babylon, and all the Chaldeans, Phacuc, and Sue, and Hychue, and all the sons of the Assyrians with them; choice young men, governors and captains, all princes and renowned, riding on horses.
24 उनीहरू तेरो विरुद्धमा हतियारहरू र रथहरू र गाडाहरू र मानिसहरूका ठुलो भीडलाई साथमा लिएर आउनेछन् । ठुला ढालहरू, साना ढालहरू लिएर र टोप लाएर उनीहरूले तँलाई घेरा हाल्नेछन् । तँलाई दण्ड दिने मौका उनीहरूलाई म दिनेछु, र उनीहरूले आफ्ना कामहरूले तँलाई दण्ड दिनेछन् ।
And they all shall come upon thee from the north, chariots and wheels, with a multitude of nations, shields and targets; and [the enemy] shall set a watch against thee round about: and I will set judgment before them, and they shall take vengeance on thee with their judgments.
25 मेरो डाहको रिस तँतिर म फर्काउनेछु, र क्रोधमा उनीहरूले तँसित व्यवहार गर्नेछन् । उनीहरूले तेरा नाक र कान काट्नेछन्, र तेरा बाँचेकाहरू तरवारले ढल्नेछन् । उनीहरूले तेरा छोराछोरीलाई लानेछन्, र तेरा बाँचेकाहरूलाई आगोले भस्म पार्नेछ ।
And I will bring upon thee my jealousy, and they shall deal with thee in great wrath: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and shall cast down thy remnant with the sword: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy remnant fire shall devour.
26 उनीहरूले तेरा वस्त्र उतारेर तँलाई नाङ्गै बनाउनेछन्, र तेरा सबै गहना लैजानेछन् ।
And they shall strip thee of thy raiment, and take [away] thine ornaments.
27 यसरी तेरा लाजमर्दो व्यवहार र मिश्रदेशदेखि तैंले सुरु गरेका तेरा वेश्यावृत्तिका कामहरू तँबाट म हटाउनेछु । तैंले यी कुराहरूतिर आफ्ना कुदृष्टि लगाउनेछैनस्, र मिश्रदेशको सम्झना फेरि तैंले गर्नेछैनस् ।'
So I will turn back thine ungodliness from thee, and thy fornication from the land of Egypt: and thou shalt not lift up thine eyes upon them, and shalt no more remember Egypt.
28 किनभने परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः 'हेर्, म तँलाई उनीहरूकै हातमा दिनेछु, जसलाई तँ घृणा गर्छेस्, उनीहरूकै हातमा जसबाट तँ टाढा भएकी थिइस् ।
Wherefore thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I [will] deliver thee into the hands of those whom thou hatest, from whom thy soul is alienated.
29 उनीहरूले तँसित घृणापूर्वक व्यवहार गर्नेछन् । तेरा सबै धन-सम्पत्ति उनीहरूले लानेछन्, र तँलाई नाङ्गो र उजाड पारेर छोड्नेछन् । अनि तँ कामुक र वेश्यावृत्तिमा संलग्न हुँदा भएझैं तँलाई नाङ्गो पारिनेछ ।
And they shall deal with thee in hatred, and shall take all [the fruits] of thy labours and thy toils, and thou shalt be naked and bare: and the shame of thy fornication shall be exposed: and thy ungodliness and thy fornication
30 वेश्याले झैं तैंले काम गरेको, जातिहरूसँग कामुक भएको, उनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूद्वारा तँ अशुद्ध भएको हुनाले यी कुराहरू तँलाई हुनेछेन् ।
brought this upon thee, in that thou wentest a-whoring after the nations, and didst defile thyself with their devices.
31 तँ आफ्नी दिदीकै चालमा हिंडेकी छेस्, यसैले त्यसको दण्डको कचौरा म तेरो हातमा दिनेछु ।'
Thou didst walk in the way of thy sister; and I will put her cup into thine hands.
32 परमप्रभु यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘तैंले तेरी दिदीको कचौरा पिउनेछस्, जो ठुलो र गहिरो छ । तँ गिल्ला पात्र र हाँसोको विषय हुनेछेस्— यो कचौरामा धेरै अट्छ ।
Thus saith the Lord; Drink thy sister's cup, deep and large, and full, to cause complete drunkenness.
33 मतवालापन र दुःखले, त्रास र विनाशको कचौराले तँ पूर्ण हुनेछेस् । तेरी दिदी सामरियाको कचौरा ।
And thou shalt be thoroughly weakened; and the cup of destruction, the cup of thy sister Samaria,
34 तैंले त्यो पिउनेछेस् र त्यसलाई रित्तो पार्नेछेस् । त्यसपछि तैंले त्यो कचौरा टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछेस्, र ती टुक्राले आफ्ना स्तनहरू काट्नेछेस् । किनकि मैले नै यो घोषणा गरेको हुँ— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।'
drink thou it, and I will take away her feasts and her new moons: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord.
35 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, ‘तैंले मलाई बिर्सेको र मलाई तेरो पछाडि फालेको छस्, यसैले आफ्नो लज्जास्पद व्यवहार र यौनको अनैतिक कामहरूका दुष्परिणामहरू तैंले सहनुपर्नेछ' ।”
Therefore thus saith the Lord; Because thou has forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore receive thou [the reward] of thine ungodliness and thy fornication.
36 परमप्रभुले मलाई भन्नुभयो, “ए मानिसको छोरो, के तैंले ओहोला र ओहोलिबाको न्याय गर्नेछस्? त्यसैले तिनीहरूका घृणित कामहरूका तिनीहरूलाई विरोध गर,
And the Lord said to me, Son of man, wilt thou not judge Oola and Ooliba? and declare to them their iniquities?
37 किनकि तिनीहरूले व्यभिचार गरेका छन्, र तिनीहरूका हातहरूमा रगत छ । तिनीहरूले आफ्ना मूर्तिहरूसित व्यभिचार गरे, र तिनीहरूका मूर्तिहरूका प्रसादको रूपमा तिनीहरूले आफ्ना छोराहरूलाई आगोबाट हिंड्न पनि लगाएका छन् ।
For they have committed adultery, and blood was in their hands, they committed adultery with their devices, and they passed through the fire to them their children which they bore to me.
38 त्यसपछि तिनीहरूले अहिले निरन्तर मलाई यसो गर्छन्: तिनीहरूले मेरो पवित्रस्थानलाई अशुद्ध पार्छन्, र त्यसै दिनमा तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूलाई अपवित्र पार्छन् ।
So long too as they did these things to me, they defiled my sanctuary, and profaned my sabbaths.
39 किनभने तिनीहरूले आफ्ना छोराछोरीलाई आफ्ना मूर्तिहरूका निम्ति बलि चढाएका, अनि त्यसै दिन तिनीहरू मेरो पवित्रस्थानलाई अशुद्ध पार्न त्यसभित्र आए । यसैले हेर्, तिनीहरूले मेरो मन्दिरको बिचमा यसो गरेका छन् ।
And when they sacrificed their children to their idols, they also went into my sanctuary to profane it: and whereas they did thus in the midst of my house;
40 अब हेर— दूतहरूले पठाएका टाढाबाट आएका मानिसहरूलाई तैंले बोलाईस् । तिनीहरू साँच्चै आए जसका निम्ति तैंले नुहाईस्, आँखामा गाजल लगाईस् र आफूलाई गहनाले सिंगारिस् ।
and whereas they did thus to the men that came from afar, to whom they sent messengers, and as soon as they came, immediately thou didst wash thyself, and didst paint thine eyes and adorn thyself with ornaments,
41 त्यहाँ तँ एउटा सुन्दर पलङ्गमा बसिस्, र त्यसको अगाडि सजाइएको टेबलमा मेरो धूप र मेरो तेल राखिस् ।
and satest on a prepared bed, and before it [there was] a table set out, and [as for] mine incense and mine oil, they rejoiced in them,
42 यसैले हल्ला गर्ने भीड त्यसको वरिपरी थियो । तिनमा सबै किसिमका मानिसहरू, यतिसम्म कि उजाड-स्थानबाट साबीहरू पनि ल्याइए, र उनीहरूले आफ्ना हातमा चुराहरू लगाए र शिरमा सुन्दर मुकुटहरू लगाए ।
and they raised a sound of music, and [that] with men coming from the wilderness out of a multitude of men, and they put bracelets on their hands, and a crown of glory on their heads;
43 तब व्भिचारले दिक्क भएकी स्त्रीको विषयमा मैले यसो भनें, 'अब उनीहरू त्यससँग यौनका अनैतिक काम गर्नेछन्, र त्यसले उनीहरूसँग गर्नेछे ।’
Therefore I said, Do they not commit adultery with these? and has she also gone a-whoring [after] the manner of a harlot?
44 जसरी मानिसहरू एउटी वेश्याकहाँ जान्छन् त्यसरी उनीहरू त्यसकहाँ गए र त्यससँग सुते । यसरी उनीहरू ती अनैतिक स्त्रीहरू, ओहोला र ओहोलिबासित सुते ।
And they went in to her, as [men] go in to a harlot; so they went in to Oola and to Ooliba to work iniquity.
45 तर धार्मिक मानिसहरूले न्याय गर्नेछन् र व्यभिचारिणीहरूका रूपमा तिनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनेछन् अनि हत्या गर्नेहरूलाई सुनाउने दण्डले तिनीहरूले उनीहरूलाई दण्ड दिनेछन्, किनभने तिनीहरू व्यभिचारिणीहरू हुन् र तिनीहरूका हातमा हत्याको रगत छ ।
And they are just men, and shall take vengeance on them with the judgment of an adulteress and the judgment of blood: for they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.
46 यसैले परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः म तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा एउटा भीड खडा गर्नेछु र तिनीहरूलाई त्रास र लूटमा सुम्पिदिनेछु ।
Thus saith the Lord God, Bring up a multitude upon them, and send trouble and plunder into the midst of them.
47 तब त्यो भीडले तिनीहरूलाई ढुङ्गाले हान्नेछन्, र उनीहरूका तरवारले तिनीहरूलाई खत्तम पार्नेछन् । तिनीहरूका छोराछोरीलाई उनीहरूले मार्नेछन् र तिनीहरूका घरहरू जलाउनेछन् ।
And stone them with the stones of a multitude, and pierce them with their swords: they shall slay their sons and their daughters, and shall burn up their houses.
48 किनकि देशबाट लज्जास्पद व्यवहारलाई म खतम गर्नेछु, र सबै स्त्रीलाई अनुशासनमा ल्याउनेछु ताकि तिनीहरू फेरि वेश्याको जस्तो काम नगरून् ।
And I will remove ungodliness out of the land, and all the women shall be instructed, and shall not do according to their ungodliness.
49 यसरी उनीहरूले तेरा लाजमर्दा व्यवहारहरू तेरै विरूद्धमा खडा गर्नेछन् । तैंले आफ्ना मूर्तिहरूसित गरेका पापको दोष तैंले भोग्नेछेस्, र यसरी म नै परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुँ भनी तैंले जान्नेछेस् ।
And your ungodliness shall be recompensed upon you, and ye shall bear the guilt of your devices: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
