इजकिएल 22
1 तब परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयोः
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “अब ए मानिसको छोरो, के तँ न्याय गर्छस्? के तँ त्यो रगतको सहरको न्याय गर्छस्? त्यसका सबै घृणित कुराहरू त्यसलाई जानकारी दे ।
Thou therefore son of man, Wilt thou judge wilt thou judge the city of bloodshed; and cause her to know all her abominations?
3 तैंले यसको भन्नुपर्छ, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः आफ्नै अन्त्यको समय आओस् भनेर आफ्नो बिचमा रगत बगाउने सहर यही हो । आफूलाई बिटुलो पार्नलाई मूर्तिहरू बनाउने सहर यही हो ।
Thou shalt say then Thus saith My Lord. Yahweh, A city shedding blood in her own midst That her time might come, Therefore hath she been making manufactured gods for herself, to be defiled.
4 तैंले बगाएको रगतको कारणले तँ दोषी भएको छस्, र तैंले बनाएका मूर्तिहरूद्वारा तँ अशुद्ध भएको छस् । तैंले आफ्ना दिनहरूको अन्त्य गरेको छस्, र तेरा वर्षहरूको अन्त्य आएको छ । यसैकारण म तँलाई जातिहरूका बिचमा गिल्ला र सबै देशमा हाँसोको पात्र बनाउनेछु ।
Because of the blood which thou hast shed, hast thou become guilty. And with the manufactured gods which thou hast made, hast thou defiled thyself, Thus hast thou brought near thy days, And hast come unto thy years, — For this cause, have I delivered thee As a reproach to the nations, And as a derision to all the lands.
5 तेरो नजिक हुनेहरू र टाढा हुनेहरू दुवैले तेरो गिल्ला गर्नेछन्— तँ अपवित्र सहर— अलमल पार्ने कुराहरूले भरिएको सहरको रूपमा चिनिएको छस् ।
They who are near and they who are far off from thee shall shew themselves derisive over thee, — O thou of impure name, abounding in confusion!
6 हेर्, इस्राएलका शासहरू, रगत बगाउन हरेक व्यक्ति आफ्नै शक्तिले तँकहाँ आएका छन् ।
Lo! the princes of Israel, every man for his own arm, have they been in thee, For the sake of shedding blood.
7 तँभित्रै तिनीहरूले माताहरू र बाबुहरूसँग अपमानको व्यवहार गरेका छन्, र तिनीहरूले तेरो बिचमा भएका विदेशीहरूमाथि अत्याचार गरेका छन् । तेरो बिचमा भएका टुहुरा-टुहुरी र विधवाहरूलाई तिनीहरूले दुर्व्यवहार गरेका छन् ।
Father and mother, have they despised in thee, To the sojourner, have they dealt with oppression in the midst of thee, — The fatherless and the widow, have they maltreated in thee:
8 मेरा पवित्र कुराहरूलाई तैंले घृणा गरेको छस् र मेरा शबाथहरूलाई अपवित्र पारेको छस् ।
My holy things, hast thou despised, - And my sabbaths, hast thou profaned:
9 रगत बगाउनलाई हत्या गर्ने मानिसहरू तँभित्र आएका छन्, र तिनीहरूले डाँडाहरूमा खान्छन् । तिनीहरूले तेरो बिचमा दुष्ट काम गर्छन् ।
Slanders, have arisen in thee For the sake of shedding blood, - And unto the mountains, have they eaten in thee, Lewdness, have they practised in the midst of thee:
10 तेरो भित्र भएका मानिसहरूले आफ्ना पिताको नङ्नता प्रकट गर्छन् । तेरो भित्र भएका मानिसहरूले रजस्वला भएकी स्त्रिसँग सम्भोग गरेर अशुद्ध भएका छन् ।
A father’s shame hath been uncovered in thee, Her that was unclean in her removal, have they humbled in thee;
11 आफ्नो छिमेकीकी पत्नीसँग घिनलाग्दा काम गर्ने मानिसहरू, र आफ्नी बुहारीहरूलाई लाज हुने किसिमले अशुद्ध पार्ने मानिसहरू, आफ्नै बहिनीहरू—आफ्ना बुबाकी छोरीहरूलाई बिगार्ने मानिसहरू —यी सबै जना तँभित्रै छन् ।
And, one man, with the wife of his neighbour, hath wrought abomination, And another, hath defiled, his daughter-in-law, by shameful deed, — And another, his own sister daughter of his own father, hath humbled in thee:
12 तँभित्र यी मानिसहरूले रक्तपात गर्नलाई घूस लिन्छन् र तैंले बढी ब्याज लिएर र धेरै मुनाफा कमाएको छस्, र थिचोमिचो गरेर तैंले आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई नष्ट गरेको छस्, र तैंले मलाई बिर्सेको छस्— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।
Bribes, have they accepted in thee, For the sake of shedding blood, -Interest and increase, hast thou accepted And thou hast overreached thy neighbour by oppression, And me, hast thou forgotten, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
13 हेर्, तैंले अन्यायसित नाफा गरेको र तेरो बिचमा भएको रक्तपातलाई मैले आफ्नो हातले प्रहार गरेको छु ।
Lo! therefore I have smitten my hand, At thine unjust gain which thou hast made— And over thy bloodshed, which they have caused in thy midst.
14 मैले तँसित व्यवहार गरेको दिनमा के तेरो हृदय स्थिर रहला, अनि तेरो हात दह्रिलो होला र? म परमप्रभुले यो घोषणा गर्दैछु, र म त्यसै गर्नेछु ।
Can thy heart endure or can thy hands be strong in the days when I am dealing with thee? I. Yahweh have spoken and will perform.
15 यसैले म तँलाई जातिहरूका बिचमा छरपष्ट पार्नेछु, र तँलाई देशहरूमा तितरबितर पार्नेछु । यसरी तँमा भएको अशुद्धताबाट तँलाई शुद्ध पार्नेछु ।
Therefore will I disperse thee among the nations, And scatter thee throughout the lands, — And will cause to cease thine impurity out of thee;
16 यसरी तँ जातिहरूका दृष्टिमा तँ अशुद्ध हुनेछस् । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तैंले जान्नेछस्' ।”
So shalt thou be profaned in thyself, before the eyes of nations, Thus shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh.
17 त्यसपछि परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ भयो,
Then came the word of Yahweh unto me, saying:
18 “ए मानिसको छोरो, इस्राएलको घराना मेरो निम्ति थेग्रो भएको छ । ती सबै जना तिमीहरूका बिचमा काँसा, जस्ता, फलाम र सीसाका उब्रेका कुरा भएका छन् । तिनीहरू तेरो भट्टीमा चाँदीका थेग्राझैं हुनेछन् ।
Son of man, The house of Israel hath become to me, dross, — They all are copper and tin and iron and lead in the midst of a furnace, The dross of silver, have they become.
19 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ, 'तिमीहरू सबै जना थेग्राजस्ता भएका हुनाले, म तिमीहरूलाई यरूशलेमको बिचमा जम्मा गर्न लागेको छु ।
Therefore, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye all are become dross, Therefore, behold me! gathering you into the midst of Jerusalem:
20 जसरी चाँदी, काँसा, फलाम, सीसा र जस्तालाई भट्टीमा गलाउनलाई मानिसहरूले जम्मा गर्छन्, त्यसरी नै म पनि मेरो रिस र मेरो क्रोधमा तिमीहरूलाई जम्मा गर्नेछु, र म तिमीहरूलाई त्यहाँ हाल्नेछु र तिमीहरूलाई गाल्नेछु ।
As they gather silver and copper and iron and lead and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow upon it the fire to melt it, So, will I gather in mine anger and in mine indignation, and will let be and will melt you;
21 म तिमीहरूलाई भेला गर्नेछु, र मेरो क्रोधको आगोमा तिमीहरूलाई फुक्नेछु, र तिमीहरू त्यसैभित्र गल्नेछौ ।
Yea I will gather you together, and blow upon you, with the fire of my wrath, — And ye shall be melted in the midst thereof:
22 जसरी भट्टीमा चाँदी गल्छ, र तिमीहरू त्यसभित्र गल्नेछौ, र म परमप्रभुले नै तिमीहरूमाथि आफ्नो क्रोध खन्याएको हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्नेछौ' ।”
As silver is melted in he midst of a furnace, So, shall ye be melted in the midst thereof, — Then shall ye know that, I Yahweh, have poured out mine indignation upon you.
23 परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
24 “ए मानिसको छोरो, त्यसलाई भन्, 'तँ शुद्ध नगरिएको देश होस् । क्रोधको दिनमा त्यहाँ वर्षा हुँदैन ।
Son of man, say to her. Thou, art a land, that is not to be rained upon, nor to receive fruitful showers, in the day of indignation.
25 गर्जने सिंहले शिकार टुक्र्याएझैं त्यसको बिचमा भएका त्यसका अगमवक्ताहरूले एउटा षड्यन्त्र रच्छन् । तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई निल्छन् र बहुमूल्य धन लुट्छन् । त्यसभित्र तिनीहरूले धेरै जनालाई विधवा बनाउँछन् ।
Because her princes in her midst are like a roaring lion rending prey, — Life, have they devoured Wealth and precious things, have they been wont to take, Her widows, have they multiplied in her midst.
26 त्यसका पुजारीहरूले मेरो व्यवस्था भङ्ग गर्छन् र तिनीहरूले मेरा पवित्र चीजहरू तुच्छ ठान्छन्। तिनीहरूले पवित्र कुरा र तुच्छ कुराको बिचमा भिन्नता छुट्याउँदैनन्, अनि अशुद्ध र शुद्धको बिचको भिन्ता सिकाउँदैनन्। तिनीहरूले मेरा शबाथहरूबाट आफ्ना आँखा लुकाउँछन् ताकि तिनीहरूका बिचमा म तच्छ भएको छु ।
Her priests have done violence to my law And have profaned my holy things, Between the hallowed and the common, have they put no difference, And between the unclean and clean, have they not taught men to discern, - And from my sabbaths, have they hid their eyes, So that I have been profaned in their midst.
27 त्यसभित्र भएका त्यसका शासकहरू आफ्नो शिकार फहराउने ब्वाँसाहरूजस्ता छन् । तिनीहरूले बेईमानसाथ नाफा कमाउनलाई रगत बगाउँछन् र मानिसहरूलाई मार्छन् ।
Her rulers within her have been like wolves, rending prey, - In shedding blood In destroying lives, For the sake of getting dishonest gain.
28 त्यसका अगमवक्ताहरूले तिनीहरूमाथि चुनले पोतेका छन्। तिनीहरूले असत्य दर्शन देख्छन् र तिनीहरूका निम्ति झूटा अगमवाणी बोल्छन् । तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छ,' जबकि परमप्रभु बोल्नुभएकै हुँदैन ।
And her prophets have coated it for them with whitewash, Seeing visions of falsehood And divining for them lies, Saying, Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, when Yahweh, hath not spoken.
29 देशका मानिसहरूले बलपूर्वक थिचोमिचो गरेका छन् र लुटपाट गरेर लूट मच्चाएका छन्, अनि तिनीहरूले गरीब र दरिद्रहरूमाथि दुर्व्यवहार गर्छन्, र विदेशीहरूसँग अन्यायपूर्वक थिचोमिचो गर्छन् ।
The people of the land have exacted oppression, and seized plunder, - Even the afflicted and the needy, have they maltreated, And the sojourner have they oppressed without justice.
30 यसैले पर्खाल निर्माण गरिदिने र देश मद्वारा नष्ट नहोस् भनी देशको लागि मेरो सामुन्ने धाँदोमा उभिदिने एक जना मानिस तिनीहरूका बिचमा मैले हेरें, तर मैले कोही पनि पाइनँ ।
Then sought I from among them, a man Who could build up a wall And stand in the breach before me in behalf of the land So that I might not destroy her, — But I found none.
31 त्यसैले तिनीहरूमाथि म आफ्नो क्रोध खन्याउनेछु । मेरो रिसको आगोले म तिनीहरूलाई खत्तम गर्नेछु र तिनीहरूका चाल तिनीहरूकै थाप्लोमा हाल्नेछु— यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो ।"'
Therefore have I poured out upon them mine indignation, In the fire of mine outburst, have I consumed them, — Their way, upon their own head, have I placed Declareth, My Lord Yahweh.
