इजकिएल 13
1 फेरि परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,
And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying:
2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, इस्राएलमा अगमवाणी बोलिरहेका अगमवक्ताहरूका विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी बोल्, र आफ्नै कल्पनाहरूका अगमवाणी बोल्नेहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभुको वचन सुन ।
Son of man. prophesy against the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, —and say unto them who prophesy out of their own heart, Hear ye the word of Yahweh,
3 परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः आफ्नै आत्माका कुरा पछ्याउने तर केही पनि नदेख्ने मूर्ख अगमवक्ताहरूलाई धिक्कार ।
Thus, saith My Lord, Yahweh, Alas for the base prophets, —who follow their own spirit and have seen, nothing.
4 ए इस्राएल, तिमीहरूका अगमवक्ताहरू त उजाड-स्थानहरूमा बस्ने स्यालहरूजस्ता भएका छन् ।
As jackals, among ruins, thy prophets O Israel have been.
5 परमप्रभुको दिनमा हुने युद्धमा सुरक्षा होस् भनेर इस्राएलका घरानाको वरिपरिका पर्खालमा भएका भत्केका ठाउँहरू मरम्मत गर्न पनि तिमीहरू गएका छैनौ ।
Ye have not gone up into the breaches, Nor built a wall about the house of Israel, - to stand in the battle in the day of Yahweh.
6 मानिसहरूसँग झूटा दर्शनहरू छन् र तिनीहरू झुटा भविष्यवाणी गर्छन् । तिनीहरू यसो भन्छन्, “परमप्रभुको घोषणा यस्तो-यस्तो छ ।” परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई पठाउनुभएको होइन । तापनि आफ्ना सन्देश पुरा हुनेछन् भनी तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूलाई आशा गर्ने बनाएका छन् ।
They have had Visions of falsehood, and Divinations of lies, Who say. Declareth Yahweh, when, Yahweh, hath not sent them, — Yet have they waited for a fulfilling of the word.
7 के तिमीहरूले झूटा दर्शनहरू देखेका र झुटा भविष्यवाणीहरू बोलेका होइनौ र, तिमीहरू जसले “परमप्रभु यस्तो-यस्तो भन्नुहुन्छ,” भन्दछौ, जबकि म आफैले ती भनेकै होइन?
Is it not a Vision of falsehood, ye have seen, and a Divination of lies, ye have spoken, Since ye are saying. Declareth Yahweh! when I have not spoken?
8 यसैकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः किनभने तिमीहरूले झूटा दर्शनहरू देखेका र झुटा बोलेको छौ । त्यसकारण तिमीहरूका विरुद्धमा परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा यस्तो छः
Therefore Thus saith My Lord Yahweh, Because ye have spoken falsehood, And have had visions of lies, Therefore behold me! against you, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
9 मेरो हात ती अगमवक्ताहरूका विरुद्धमा हुनेछ, जसले असत्य दर्शनहरू देख्छन् र झूटा जोखनाहरू भन्छन् । तिनीहरू मेरो मानिसहरूका सभामा हुनेछैनन्, वा इस्राएलका घरानाको सूचीमा तिनका नाउँ लेखिनेछैनन् । तिनीहरू इस्राएल देशमा जानुहुँदैन । किनकि परमप्रभु परमेश्वर म नै हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्नेछौ ।
So then my hand shall be against the prophets who have Visions of falsehood and who divine Divinations of lies— In the council of my people, shall they not be found. And in the register of the house of Israel, shall they not be written, And Upon the so of Israel, shall they not enter, — So shall ye know that, I, am The Lord Yahweh,
10 यो कारणले र तिनीहरूले मेरो मानिसहरूलाई टाढा लगेका र यसो भनेका कारणले, “शान्ति,” जब शान्ति नै छैन । तिनीहरू एउटा पर्खाल बनाउँदैछन् जसलाई तिनीहरूले चुन लगाउनेछन् ।'
Because, yea, even because, they have led astray my people saying. Prosperity! when there was no prosperity, —and one man, was building a partition wall, when there they were! eating it with whitewash
11 ती पर्खालमा चुना लगाउनेहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'यो ढल्नेछ । घनघोर वृष्टि हुनेछ र यसलाई ढाल्नलाई ठुला असिना र यलाई नष्ट गर्नलाई आँधीबेहरी म पठाउनेछु ।
Say thou unto them who are coating with whitewash It shall fall, - There hath come an overflowing rain And I will make hail-stones fall, And a tempestuous wind shall break it down.
12 हेर, त्यो पर्खाल ढल्नेछ । के अरूले तिमीहरूलाई यसो भनेका छैनन् र, “तिमीहरूले पोतेको चुन कहाँ छ?”
Lo! when the wall hath fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the coating, wherewith ye coated it?
13 यसैकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः म आफ्नो क्रोधमा एउटा डरलाग्दो आँधीबेहरी ल्याउनेछु, र मेरो रिसमा पानीको बाढी आउनेछन् । मेरो क्रोधको असिनाले त्यसलाई पूर्ण रूपमा भत्काउनेछ ।
Therefore Thus saith my Lord, Yahweh, So will I break down with a tempestuous wind. in mine indignation, — And an overflowing rain in mine anger, shall there be, With hailstones in wrath to make an end;
14 किनकि तिमीहरूले चुना पोतेको त्यो पर्खाललाई भत्काउनेछु र त्यसलाई म भूइँसम्मै लडाउनेछु, र त्यसको जग देखाउनेछु । यसरी त्यो ढल्नेछ र तिमीहरू सबै पनि त्यसको माझमा नष्ट हुनेछौ । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्नेछौ ।
And I will pull down the wall which ye have coated with whitewash And will bring it unto the ground So shall be discovered its foundation, Yea it shall fall And ye shall come to an end in the midst thereof, So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
15 किनकि म आफ्नो क्रोधमा त्यो पर्खाल र त्यसलाई चुनले पोत्नेहरूलाई नष्ट पार्नेछु । म तिमीहरूलाई भन्नेछु, “त्यो पर्खाल अब छैन न त त्यसलाई चुनले पोत्ने मानिसहरू नै छन्—
Thus will I bring to an end mine indignation against the wall, and against them who were coating it with whitewash, And will say to you No more is the wall, And no more are they who were coating it:
16 यरूशलेमको बारेमा अगमवाणी बोल्ने इस्राएलका यी अगमवक्ताहरू र त्यसको निम्ति शान्तिको दर्शन देख्नेहरू । तर त्यहाँ शान्ति नै छैन! यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो' ।”
to wit the prophets of Israel who are prophesying unto Jerusalem, and are seeing, on her behalf, visions of prosperity, — when there is no prosperity, Declareth My Lord Yahweh.
17 यसैले अब ए मानिसको छोरो, तेरा मानिसहरूका छोरीहरू, जसले आफ्नै कल्पनाको अगमवाणी बोल्नेहरूतिर तेरो मुख फर्का, रर तिनीहरूका विरुद्धमा अगमवाणी बोल् ।
And thou, Son of man Set thy face against the daughters of thy people, Those who are prophesying out of their own heart, — And prophesy thou against them;
18 यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः धिक्कार ती स्त्रीहरू, जसले आफ्ना हातका हरेक भागमा जादुका बुटीहरू बाँध्छन् र मानिसहरूको शिकार गर्न विभिन्न आकारका शिर ढाक्ने घुम्टा बनाउँछन् । के तिमीहरूले मेरा मानिसहरूका शिकार गर्ने तर आफ्नै जीवनचाहिं बचाउने छौ र?
and say, Thus, saith My Lord Yahweh, Alas! for the women Who sew oracle, cases on all elbows And prepare wraps upon the head of every stature to hunt souls, — the souls ye hunt, are those of my people, Whereas your own souls: , ye keep alive.
19 मर्नु नपर्ने मानिसहरूलाई मार्नलाई र बाँच्न नपर्नेहरूको जीवन बचाउनलाई तिमीहरूका कुरा सुन्ने मेरा मानिसहरूलाई झुटा कुरा गरेर र आफ्ना दुई-चार मुट्ठी जौ र रोटीका केही टुक्राहरूका निम्ति मेरो मानिसहरूका बिचमा तिमीहरूले मलाई बिटुलो पार्यौ ।
Thus have ye profaned me unto my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, Putting to death the souls that should not die, and Keeping alive the souls that should not live, — By your lying to my people, who hearken to lies
20 यसकारण परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः म तिमीहरूका जादुका विरुद्धमा छु, जुन चरालाई झैं मानिसहरूलाई पासोमा पार्न तिमीहरूले प्रयोग गरेका छौ । साँच्चै ती म तिमीहरूका पाखुराहरूदेखि ती चुडाउँनेछु । अनि तिमीहरूले चरालाई झैं पासोमा पारेका मानिसहरूलाई म छुटकारा दिनेछु ।
Therefore, Thus saith my Lord Yahweh, Behold me! against your oracle-cases wherewith ye are hunting the souls to make them fly, And I will tear them off your arms, And let go the souls of them whose souls ye are hunting as birds;
21 म तिमीहरूका घुम्टा पनि च्यातिदिनेछु, र मेरो प्रजालाई तिमीहरूका हातदेखि छुटाउनेछु, यसरी तिनीहरू फेरि कहिल्यै तिमीहरूका हातमा पर्नेछैनन् । म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्नेछौ ।
And will tear off your wraps, And deliver my people out of your hand, And they shall be no longer in your hand to be hunted; - So shall ye know that, I, am Yahweh.
22 किनकि तिमीहरूले झुटा बोलेर धर्मीहरूलाई निराश तुल्याएका हुनाले, जबकि मैले उसलाई निरास तुल्याउने इच्छा गरिनँ, र तिमीहरूले दुष्ट व्यक्तिका कामहरूलाई उत्साह दियौ ताकि आफ्नो प्राण बचाउन आफ्ना चालबाट ऊ फर्कनेछैन—
Because of the paining of the heart of the righteous man with falsehood, whom, I, have not pained, — And strengthening the hands of the lawless man, that he should not turn from his wicked way. by letting him live
23 यसैकारण तिमीहरूले अब फेरि कहिल्यै झुटा दर्शन देख्नेछैनौ नत भविष्यवाणी गरिरहनेछौ, किनकि म आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई तिमीहरूका हातदेखि बचाउनेछु । म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिमीहरूले जान्नेछौ।'”
Therefore—of falsehood: , shall ye have no vision, And a divination: , shall ye not divine any more, — So will I deliver my people out of your hand, And ye shall know that, I, am Yahweh.
