इजकिएल 12

1 परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

2 “ए मानिसको छोरो, तँ एउटा विद्रोही घरानाको बिचमा बस्छस्, जहाँ तिनीहरूका हेर्ने आँखा त छन्‌ तर तिनीहरू देख्‍दैनन् । अनि तिनीहरूका सुन्‍ने कान त छन्‌ तर सुन्‍दैनन्‌, किनभने तिनीहरू विद्रोही घराना हुन्‌ ।

Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house; they have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not; for they are a rebellious house.

3 यसकारण ए मानिसको छोरो, निर्वासित भएको व्‍यक्तिझैं आफ्ना सामान पोको पार्, र दिउँसै तिनीहरूले देख्‍ने गरी जान सुरु गर्, किनकि तिनीहरूकै सामु तँलाई म निर्वासित तुल्याउनेछु । तिनीहरू विद्रोही घराना भए तापनि शायद तिनीहरूले बुझ्‍लान्‌ ।

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing from the land; and remove by day in their sight, and remove from thy place to another place before their eyes. It may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

4 निर्वासनको लागि तेरा सामनाहरू दिउँसै तिनीहरूका आँखाकै सामुन्‍ने बाहिर निकाल्‍नेछस् । तिनीहरूका आँखाकै सामुन्‍ने कोही निर्वासनमा जानेझैं बेलुकी जानेछस् ।

And carry forth thy stuff, as stuff for removing, by day in their sight, and go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

5 तिनीहरूले देख्‍ने गरी पर्खालमा प्‍वाल पार्, र त्‍यसैबाट बाहिर निक्लेर जा ।

Before their eyes break thou through the wall, and carry forth thereby.

6 तिनीहरूले हेरिरहँदा तैंले आफ्‍नो सामान काँधमा उठा, र ती अँध्यारोमा बोकेर बाहिर लैजा । आफ्‍नो मुख छोप्‌, किनकि तैंले भुइँ देख्‍नुहुँदैन, किनभने इस्राएलका घरानाको निम्‍ति मैले तँलाई एउटा चिन्‍हको रूपमा अलग गरेको छु ।”

In their sight bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight. Cover thy face, so that thou see not the ground; for I have made thee a sign to the house of Israel.

7 यसरी जस्‍तो मलाई आज्ञा गरियो त्‍यस्‍तै मैले गरें । निर्वासनको लागि मैले आफ्‍ना सामानहरू दिउँसो बाहिर निकालें, र बेलुका हातले पर्खालमा प्‍वाल पारें । मैले आफ्‍ना सामानहरू अँध्‍यारोमा बाहिर निकालें, र तिनीहरूले हेर्दाहेर्दै ती आफ्‍ना काँधमा बोकें ।

And I did as I was commanded, I carried forth my stuff, as stuff for removing from the land, by day; and in the evening I broke through the wall with my hand; I carried it forth in the twilight; I took it upon my shoulder before their eyes.

8 त्‍यसपछि बिहान परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of Jehovah came to me in the morning, and said:

9 “ए मानिसको छोरो, के इस्राएलका घराना, त्‍यो विद्रोही घरानाले, 'तिमी यो के गर्दैछौ?' भनेर सोधेन?

Son of man, hath not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said to thee, “What doest thou?”

10 तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः यो भविष्‍य सुचक कामले यरूशलेमका शासक र सारा इस्राएलका घरानासित सम्बन्‍ध राख्‍छ ।’

Say to them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This burden concerneth the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that is therein.

11 यसो भन्, 'तिमीहरूका निम्‍ति म एउटा चिन्‍ह हुँ ।’ मैले जसो गरेको छु, तिनीहरूलाई त्‍यस्‍तै गरिनेछ । तिनीहरू निर्वासन र कैदमा जानेछन् ।

Say, I am your sign. As I have done, so shall it be done to them. They shall remove and go into captivity.

12 तिनीहरूका बिचमा हुने शासकले साँझमा आफ्‍नो काँधमा सामान बोक्‍नेछ, र पर्खालबाट बाहिर जानेछ । तिनीहरूले पर्खाल फोर्नेछन् र आफ्ना सामानहरू बाहिर निकाल्नेछन् । आफ्‍ना आँखाले भूइँ नदेखोस्‌ भनेर त्‍यसले आफ्‍नो मुख छोप्‍नेछ ।

And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth. They shall break through the wall to carry forth thereby; he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

13 म आफ्‍नो जाल त्‍यसमाथि फिंजाउनेछु, र त्‍यो मेरो पासोमा पर्नेछ । तब म त्‍यसलाई कल्‍दीहरूको देश बेबिलोनियामा लानेछु, तर त्‍यसले त्‍यो देख्‍नेछैन । त्‍यो त्‍यहीं मर्नेछ ।

I will also spread my net upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, into the land of the Chaldaeans; yet he shall not see it, though he shall die there.

14 त्‍यसका वरिपरि हुनेहरू जसले त्‍यसलाई मदत गर्छन् र त्‍यसका सम्‍पूर्ण फौजलाई म तितरबितर पार्नेछु, र तिनीहरूको पछि म तरवार पठाउनेछु ।

And all that are round about him to help him, and all his bands, will I scatter to every wind; and I will draw out the sword after them.

15 जब जातिहरूका बिचमा तिनीहरूलाई म छरपष्‍ट पार्नेछु र देश-देशमा तिनीहरूलाई तितरबितर पार्नेछु, तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन्‌ ।

And they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall disperse them among the nations, and scatter them in the countries.

16 तर म तिनीहरूमध्‍येका थोरैलाई तरवार, अनिकाल र रूढीबाट जोगाउनेछु, ताकि जहाँ तिनीहरू जानेछन्, त्‍यहाँका जातिहरूका बिचमा आफ्‍ना घिनलाग्‍दा व्‍यवहारहरूका लेखा तिनीहरूले राख्‍नेछन्, यसरी म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तिनीहरूले जान्‍नेछन्‌ ।”

But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen, whither they come; and they shall know that I am Jehovah.

17 परमेश्‍वरको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

18 “ए मानिसको छोरो, आफ्‍नो भोजन थरथर हुँदै खा, र काम्दै र चिन्ता गर्दै पानी पी ।

Son of man, eat thy bread with quaking, and drink thy water with trembling and with carefulness;

19 अनि देशका मानिसहरूलाई यसो भन्‌: 'यरूशलेमका बासिन्‍दाहरू र इस्राएल देश बारेमा परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः “तिनीहरूले आफ्‍नो भोजन काम्दै खानेछन्, र थरथर काम्दै तिनीहरूले आफ्‍नो पानी पिउनेछन्, किनकि त्‍यहाँ बस्‍नेहरूका हिंसाको कारणले त्‍यसमा भएका सबै कुरासमेत तिनीहरूका देश उजाड पारिनेछ ।

and say to the people of the land: Thus saith the Lord Jehovah concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem in the land of Israel; their bread shall they eat with carefulness, and their water shall they drink with astonishment; that their land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of them that dwell in it.

20 मानिसहरू बसेका सहरहरू उजाड हुनेछन्, र देश उजाड-स्‍थान हुनेछ । तब म नै परमप्रभु हुँ भी तिमीहरूले जान्‍नेछौ ।’”

And the inhabited cities shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate, that ye may know that I am Jehovah.

21 फेरि पनि परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

22 “ए मानिसको छोरो, ‘समय लामो पारिएको छ, र हरेक दर्शन फेल हुन्छ' भन्‍ने इस्राएलमा चल्‍दैआएको उखान के हो?

Son of man, what meaneth that proverb which ye have in the land of Israel, saying, “The days are delayed, and every vision faileth”?

23 यसकारण तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः म यस उखानको अन्‍त गरिदिनेछु, र इस्राएलका मानिसहरूले फेरि कहिल्‍यै यो प्रयोग गर्नेछैनन्‌ ।' तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्, ‘समय नजिकै आएको छ, जति बेला हरेक दर्शन पुरा हुनेछ ।

Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel. But say to them, The days are at hand, and what is declared in every vision.

24 किनकि अब फेरि कहिल्‍यै इस्राएलका मानिसहरूका बिचमा झूटा दर्शन र जोखना हेर्नेहरू हुनेछैनन्‌ ।

For there shall be no longer any vain vision or deceptive divination within the house of Israel.

25 किनकि म परमप्रभु हुँ! म बोल्छु र आफूले बोलेका कुरा पुरा गर्छु । यो कुरा ढिलो हुनेछैन । किनकि ए विद्रोही घराना, तिमीहरूका समयमा नै मैले भनेको यो कुरा म पुरा गर्नेछु, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।”

For I am Jehovah; I speak, and the word which I speak shall come to pass; it shall no more be delayed. In your own days, ye rebellious house, will I speak the word and perform it, saith the Lord Jehovah.

26 फेरि पनि परमप्रभुको वचन यसो भनेर मकहाँ आयो,

And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying:

27 “ए मानिसको छोरो, हेर्, इस्राएलका घरानाले यसो भनेको छ, 'त्‍यसले देखेको दर्शन अबदेखि धेरै दिनसम्‍मको लागि हो र त्‍यसले बोलेको अगमवाणी धेरै समयपछिका लागि हो ।'

Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, “The vision which he seeth is for many days to come, and he prophesieth of times that are far off.”

28 यसकारण तिनीहरूलाई यसो भन्, 'परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वर यसो भन्‍नुहुन्‍छः मेरा वचन पुरा हुन अब ढिलो हुनेछैन, तर मैले बोलेका वचन पुरा हुनेछन्, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरको घोषणा हो ।

Therefore say to them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: There shall none of my words be deferred any more; what I speak shall be done, saith the Lord Jehovah.
