प्रस्थान 2
1 अब लेवीको कुलका एक जना पुरुषले लेवीकै कुलकी एक जना स्त्रीसित विवाह गरे ।
And he went a man from [the] house of Levi and he took [the] daughter of Levi.
2 ती स्त्री गर्भवती भइन् र एउटा छोरो जन्माइन् । तिनी स्वस्थ बालक भएको देखेर उनले तिनलाई तिन महिनासम्म लुकाइन् ।
And she conceived the woman and she bore a son and she saw him that [was] good he and she hid him three months.
3 तर उनले लुकाउन नसकेपछि उनले कुशको एउटा टोकरी बनाएर त्यसलाई तारपीन र अलकत्राले लिपिन् । त्यसपछि उनले बच्चालाई त्यसभित्र राखिन् र नदीको किनारनेर नर्कटको झाडीमा भएको पानीमा राखिदिइन् ।
And not she was able still to hide him and she took for him a basket of papyrus and sealed it she with bitumen and with pitch and she put in it the child and she put [it] among the rush[es] at [the] bank of the River.
4 बालकलाई के हुनेथियो भनी हेर्न तिनकी दिदीचाहिँ अलि टाढामा उभिन् । फारोकी छोरी नदीमा नुहाउन ओर्लिन् ।
And she stood sister his from a distance to know what? will it be done to him.
5 उनका सहेलीहरूचाहिँ नदीतटमा टहल्न लागे । उनले नर्कटहरूका बिचमा एउटा टोकरी देखिन् र आफ्नी एक जना सहेलीलाई त्यो लिन पठाइन् ।
And she went down [the] daughter of Pharaoh to bathe at the River and female attendants her [were] walking on [the] side of the River and she saw the basket in among the rush[es] and she sent maid her (and fetched it she *L(abh)*)
6 उनले त्यसलाई खोलेर हेर्दा बच्चा देखिन् । बच्चा रुँदै थियो । उनमा बच्चाप्रति दया जाग्यो र उनले भनिन्, “यो पक्कै पनि हिब्रूहरूको बच्चा हुनुपर्छ ।”
and she opened [it] and she saw him the child and there! a lad [was] crying and she had compassion on him and she said [is] one of [the] children of the Hebrews this.
7 तब बालककी दिदीले फारोकी छोरीलाई भनिन्, “बच्चालाई दूध खुवाउन तपाईंको लागि म गएर एक हिब्रू स्त्रीलाई फेला पारेर ल्याऊँ?”
And she said sister his to [the] daughter of Pharaoh ¿ will I go and will I call? for you a woman a suckling-nurse from the Hebrew [women] so she may suckle for you the child.
8 फारोकी छोरीले उनलाई भनिन्, “जाऊ ।” त्यसैले ती युवती गएर आमालाई बोलाएर ल्याइन् ।
And she said to her [the] daughter of Pharaoh go and she went the young woman and she called [the] mother of the child.
9 फारोकी छोरीले बच्चाकी आमालाई भनिन्, “यो बच्चालाई लिएर जाऊ र मेरो खातिर दूध खुवाऊ र म तिम्रो ज्याला दिनेछु ।” त्यसैले आमाले बच्चालाई लिएर दूध खुवाउने गरिन् ।
And she said to her [the] daughter of Pharaoh take the child this and suckle him for me and I I will pay wage[s] your and she took the woman the child and she suckled him.
10 बालक हुर्कंदै गएपछि उनले तिनलाई फारोकी छोरीकहाँ ल्याइन् र तिनी उनको छोरा भए । उनले तिनलाई मोशा नाउँ राखे र भने, “किनकि मैले यिनलाई पानीबाट निकालेँ ।”
And he grew up the child and she took him to [the] daughter of Pharaoh and he became to her a son and she called name his Moses and she said that from the water I drew him.
11 जब मोशा हुर्के तिनी आफ्नो जातिकहाँ गए र तिनीहरूको कठिन कामलाई अवलोकन गरे । मोशाको आफ्नै जातिको कुनै एउटा मानिसलाई एउटा मिश्रीले हिर्काइरहेको तिनले देखे ।
And it was - in the days those and he grew up Moses and he went out to brothers his and he looked on forced labor their and he saw a man Egyptian striking a man Hebrew one of brothers his.
12 तिनले दायाँबायाँ हेरे र कोही नदेखेपछि त्यस मिश्रीलाई मारेर त्यसको लाशलाई बालुवामुनि पुरिदिए ।
And he turned thus and thus and he saw that there not [was] a person and he struck down the Egyptian and he hid him in the sand.
13 अर्को दिन पनि तिनी बाहिर निस्के र दुई जना हिब्रू एक-अर्कामा झगडा गरिरहेका देखे । तिनले गल्ती गर्नेचाहिँलाई भने, “तिमी आफ्नै साथीलाई किन हिर्काउँदै छौ?”
And he went out on the day second and there! two men Hebrew [were] struggling together and he said to the guilty [one] why? are you striking companion your.
14 तर त्यस मानिसले भन्यो, “कसले तिमीलाई हाम्रो अगुवा र न्यायकर्ता बनायो? त्यस मिश्रीलाई मारेजस्तै के तिमी मलाई पनि मार्न खोज्दै छौ?” तब मोशा डराएर भने, “निश्चय नै, मैले गरेको कुरा अरूहरूले थाहा पाउन लागेछन् ।”
And he said who? did he appoint you to a man a chief and a judge over us ¿ to kill me [are] you saying just as you killed the Egyptian and he was afraid Moses and he thought truly it is known the matter.
15 फारोले यस विषयमा सुनेपछि तिनले मोशालाई मार्न खोजे । तर मोशा फारोदेखि भागेर मिद्यान देशमा गए र त्यहाँ तिनी कुवानेर बसे ।
And he heard Pharaoh the matter this and he sought to kill Moses and he fled Moses from before Pharaoh and he dwelt in [the] land of Midian and he sat at the well.
16 अब मिद्यानका पूजाहारीका सात छोरी थिए । तिनीहरू आएर पानी भरे र तिनीहरूका पिताका भेडा-बाख्रालाई पानी खुवाउन डुँड भरे ।
And [belonged] to [the] priest of Midian seven daughters and they came and they drew and they filled the drinking troughs to water [the] flock of father their.
17 गोठालाहरू आएर तिनीहरूलाई धपाउन खोज्दा मोशाले ती युवतीहरूको मदत गरे । त्यसपछि तिनले तिनीहरूका भेडा-बाख्राहरूलाई पनि पानी खुवाइदिए ।
And they came the shepherds and they drove away them and he arose Moses and he delivered them and he watered flock their.
18 जब ती केटीहरू आफ्ना पिता रूएलकहाँ गए तब तिनले सोधे, “आज तिमीहरू किन यति चाँडै घर आएका छौ?”
And they went to Reuel father their and he said why? did you hurry to come this day.
19 तिनीहरूले भने, “एक जना मिश्रीले हामीलाई गोठालाहरूबाट छुटकारा दिए । तिनले हाम्रो निम्ति पानी तान्नुका साथै भेडा-बाख्राहरूलाई पनि पानी खुवाइदिए ।”
And they said a man Egyptian he rescued us from [the] hand of the shepherds and also carefully he drew for us and he watered the flock.
20 तिनले आफ्ना छोरीहरूलाई भने, “त्यसो भए, तिनी कहाँ छन् त? किन तिमीहरूले ती मानिसलाई छाड्यौ?” तिनलाई डाक ताकि तिनले हामीसितै खाना खान सकून् ।”
And he said to daughters his and where [is]? he why? this have you left the man invite him so he may eat food.
21 मोशा ती मानिससित बस्न राजी भए जसले तिनलाई आफ्नी छोरी सिप्पोरा विवाहको लागि दिए ।
And he was willing Moses to dwell with the man and he gave Zipporah daughter his to Moses.
22 उनले एउटा छोरो जन्माइन् र मोशाले त्यसको नाउँ गेर्शोम राखे । तिनले भने, “म विदेशी भूमिमा प्रवासी भएको छु ।”
And she bore a son and he called name his Gershom for he said a sojourner I have become in a land foreign.
23 धेरै समय बितेपछि मिश्रका राजा मरे । इस्राएलीहरूले दासत्वको कठिनाइको कारणले चित्कार गरे । तिनीहरूले मदतको लागि पुकारा गरे र तिनीहरूको दासत्वको कारण तिनीहरूको पुकारा परमेश्वरकहाँ पुग्यो ।
And it was in the days many those and he died [the] king of Egypt and they groaned [the] people of Israel from the labor and they cried out and it went up cry for help their to God from the labor.
24 परमेश्वरले तिनीहरूको क्रन्दन सुन्नुभएपछि उहाँले अब्राहाम, इसहाक र याकूबसित बाँध्नुभएको करार सम्झनुभयो ।
And he heard God groaning their and he remembered God covenant his with Abraham with Isaac and with Jacob.
25 परमेश्वरले इस्राएलीहरूलाई देख्नुभयो, र तिनीहरूको अवस्था बुझ्नुभयो ।
And he saw God [the] people of Israel and he knew God.
