प्रस्थान 10
1 परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “फारोकहाँ जा किनकि मैले त्यसको र त्यसका अधिकारीहरूका ह्रदय कठोर बनाइदिएको छु । तिनीहरूका बिचमा मेरो शक्तिका यी चिन्हहरू देखाउनलाई मैले यसो गरेको हुँ ।
And YHWH says to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, for I have declared his heart hard, and the heart of his servants, so that I set these signs of Mine in their midst,
2 मैले गरेका कुराहरू, मैले मिश्रलाई कसरी कठोरतापूर्वक व्यवहार गरेँ र तिनीहरूका बिचमा मेरो शक्तिका विभिन्न चिन्हहरू कसरी देखाएँ भनी तैँले तेरा छोराछोरीहरू र नातिनातिनाहरूलाई बताउनेछस् भनेर पनि मैले यसो गरेको हुँ । यसरी म परमप्रभु हुँ भनी तैँले जान्नेछस् ।”
and so that you recount in the ears of your son, and of your son’s son, that which I have done in Egypt, and My signs which I have set among them, and you have known that I [am] YHWH.”
3 त्यसैले मोशा र हारून फारोकहाँ गए र भने, “हिब्रूहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वर यसो भन्नुहुन्छः मेरो सामु आफैलाई विनम्र पार्न कहिलेसम्म अस्वीकार गर्छस्? मेरो आराधना गर्न मेरा मानिसहरूलाई जान दे ।
And Moses comes in—Aaron also—to Pharaoh, and they say to him, “Thus said YHWH, God of the Hebrews: Until when have you refused to be humbled at My presence? Send My people away, and they serve Me,
4 तैँले मेरा मानिसहरूलाई जान दिन इन्कार गरिस् भने सुन्, भोलि म तेरो देशमा सलहहरू ल्याउनेछु ।
for if you are refusing to send My people away, behold, tomorrow I am bringing in the locust into your border,
5 कसैले जमिनलाई देख्न नसक्ने गरी तिनीहरूले भुइँलाई ढाक्नेछन् । असिनाबाट बचेर रहेका कुनै पनि चिज तिनीहरूले खाइदिनेछन् । खेतमा उम्रने हरेक रुखलाई पनि तिनीहरूले खाइदिनेछन् ।
and it has covered the eye of the land, and none is able to see the land, and it has eaten the remnant of that which is escaped, which is left to you from the hail, and it has eaten every tree which is springing out of the field for you;
6 तिनीहरू तेरा, तेरा सबै अधिकारीसाथै सबै मिश्रीका घरहरूमा भरिनेछन् । यस्तो तिमीहरूका बुबा र हजुर बुबाहरूले पृथ्वीको स्थापना भएदेखि आजको दिनसम्म कहिल्यै देखेका छैनन्' ।” त्यसपछि मोशा फारोकहाँबाट निस्केर गए ।
and they have filled your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians, which neither your fathers nor your father’s fathers have seen, since the day of their being on the ground to this day.” And he turns and goes out from Pharaoh.
7 फारोका अधिकारीहरूले तिनलाई भने, “कहिलेसम्म यो मानिसले हामीलाई धम्की दिने? तिनीहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरलाई आराधना गर्न इस्राएलीहरूलाई जान दिनुहोस् । मिश्र नष्ट भएको के हजुरले देख्नुभएको छैन र?”
And the servants of Pharaoh say to him, “Until when does this [one] become a snare to us? Send the men away, and they serve their God YHWH; do you not yet know that Egypt has perished?”
8 मोशा र हारून फेरि पनि फारोकहाँ ल्याइए । फारोले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “तिमीहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको आराधना गर्न जाओ । तर जानेहरूचाहिँ को-को हुनेछन्?”
And Moses is brought back—Aaron also—to Pharaoh, and he says to them, “Go, serve your God YHWH, but who—who [are] those going?”
9 मोशाले भने, “हामी हाम्रा छोराछोरीहरू, बुढाबुढीहरू लिएर जानेछौँ । हामीले हाम्रा गाईवस्तु र भेडा-बाख्राहरू लिएर जानेछौँ किनकि हामीले परमप्रभुको निम्ति चाड मनाउनुपर्छ ।”
And Moses says, “With our young ones, and with our aged ones, we go, with our sons, and with our daughters, with our flock, and our herd, we go, for we have a festival to YHWH.”
10 फारोले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “मैले तिमीहरू र तिमीहरूका सन्तानहरूलाई जान दिएँ भने वास्तवमा परमप्रभु तिमीहरूसँगै होऊन् । हेर, तिमीहरूको मनमा कुनै दुष्टता छ ।
And he says to them, “Be it so, YHWH [is] with you when I send you and your infants away; see—for evil [is] before your faces.
11 तिमीहरूमा बिचमा भएका पुरुषहरू मात्र गएर परमप्रभुको आराधना गरून् किनकि तिमीहरूले चाहेको यही नै हो ।” त्यसपछि मोशा र हारूनलाई फारोको उपस्थितिबाट हटाइयो ।
Not so! Go now, you who [are] men, and serve YHWH, for that you are seeking”; and [one] casts them out from the presence of Pharaoh.
12 तब परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “सलहहरू मिश्र देशमा आऊन् भनी तेरो हात पसार् । असिनाको आक्रमणबाट बाँकी रहेका मिश्र देशका हरेक थोकमाथि तिनीहरूले आक्रमण गरून् ।”
And YHWH says to Moses, “Stretch out your hand against the land of Egypt for the locust, and it goes up against the land of Egypt, and eats every herb of the land—all that the hail has left.”
13 मोशाले आफ्नो लट्ठी मिश्र देशमाथि पसारे अनि परमप्रभुले दिनरात समस्त देशमा पूर्वीय बतास चलाइदिनुभयो । बिहान हुँदा पूर्वीय बतासले सलहहरू ल्याएको थियो ।
And Moses stretches out his rod against the land of Egypt, and YHWH has led an east wind over the land all that day, and all the night; the morning has been, and the east wind has lifted up the locust.
14 सलहहरू मिश्र देशभरि गए र यसका सबै भू-भागमा हुल-हुल भएर बसे । त्यस देशमा सलहहरूको यस्तो हुल कहिल्यै देखा परेको थिएन र यसपछि पनि यस्तो कहिल्यै हुनेछैन ।
And the locust goes up against all the land of Egypt, and rests in all the border of Egypt—very grievous: before it there has not been such a locust as it, and after it there is none such;
15 पुरै अन्धकार हुने गरी तिनीहरूले पुरै देशको सतहलाई ढाके । असिनाले नष्ट गरेर छाडेका रुखहरूका सबै फल र खेतका सबै बोट-बिरुवा तिनीहरूले खाइदिए । मिश्र देशभरि कुनै जीवित हरियो बिरुवा बाँकी रहेन न त खेतमा नै कुनै रुख-बिरुवा बाँकी रह्यो ।
and it covers the eye of all the land, and the land is darkened; and it eats every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail has left, and there has not been left any green thing in the trees, or in the herb of the field, in all the land of Egypt.
16 त्यसपछि फारोले झट्टै मोशा र हारूनलाई डाक्न पठाए र भने, “मैले तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर र तिमीहरूको विरुद्धमा पाप गरेको छु ।
And Pharaoh hurries to call for Moses and for Aaron and says, “I have sinned against your God YHWH, and against you,
17 अब यस पल्ट मेरो पाप क्षमा गरिदेऊ र मबाट यस मृत्युलाई लगियोस् भनी तिमीहरूका परमप्रभु परमेश्वरसित बिन्ती चढाइदेओ ।”
and now, please bear with my sin, only this time, and make supplication to your God YHWH, that He may turn aside from off me only this death.”
18 त्यसैले मोशा फारोकहाँबाट गए र परमप्रभुलाई बिन्ती चढाए ।
And he goes out from Pharaoh, and makes supplication to YHWH,
19 परमप्रभुले निकै शक्तिशाली पश्चिमी बतास चलाइदिनुभयो जसले सलहहरूलाई उडाई लाल समुद्रमा लग्यो । मिश्रका इलाकाभित्र एउटै पनि सलह रहेन ।
and YHWH turns a very strong sea wind, and it lifts up the locust, and blows it into the Red Sea—there has not been left one locust in all the border of Egypt;
20 तर परमप्रभुले फारोको ह्रदय कठोर बनाइदिनुभयो र तिनले इस्राएलीहरूलाई जान दिएनन् ।
and YHWH strengthens the heart of Pharaoh, and he has not sent the sons of Israel away.
21 त्यसपछि परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “आकाशतिर तेरो हात पसार् अनि मिश्र देशभरि महसुस गर्न सकिने अन्धकार होस् ।”
And YHWH says to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the heavens, and there is darkness over the land of Egypt, and the darkness is felt.”
22 मोशाले आफ्नो हात आकाशतिर पसारे र मिश्र देशभरि तिन दिनसम्म निस्पट्ट अन्धकार छायो ।
And Moses stretches out his hand toward the heavens, and there is darkness—thick darkness in all the land of Egypt [for] three days;
23 कसैले कसैलाई देख्न सक्दैनथ्यो । तिन दिनसम्म कोही पनि आफ्नो घरबाहिर निस्केन । तर सबै इस्राएली बसेको ठाउँमा भने उज्यालै थियो ।
they have not seen one another, and none has risen from his place [for] three days; but there has been light for all the sons of Israel in their dwellings.
24 फारोले मोशालाई बोलाउन पठाए र भने, “गएर परमप्रभुको आराधना गर । तिमीहरूका परिवारहरू पनि तिमीहरूसँगै जान सक्नेछन्, तर तिमीहरूका गाईवस्तु र भेडा-बाख्राहरूलाई भने यहीँ छाड ।”
And Pharaoh calls to Moses and says, “Go, serve YHWH, only your flock and your herd are stayed, your infants also go with you”;
25 तर मोशाले भने, “हाम्रा परमप्रभु परमेश्वरलाई बलिदान चढाउन तपाईंले हामीलाई बलिदान र होमबलिको निम्ति पशुहरू पनि दिनुपर्छ ।
and Moses says, “You also give sacrifices and burnt-offerings in our hand, and we have prepared for our God YHWH;
26 हाम्रा गाईवस्तु पनि हामीसितै जानुपर्छ । तिनीहरूका खुर पनि छोडिनुहुँदैन किनकि हाम्रा परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको आराधना गर्न हामीले तिनलाई लैजानैपर्छ । किनकि हामी त्यहाँ नपुगेसम्म हामीले परमप्रभुलाई के-के चढाएर आराधना गर्ने भनी हामीलाई थाहा हुँदैन ।”
and also our livestock go with us—there is not left a hoof, for we take from it to serve our God YHWH; and we do not know how we serve YHWH until our going there.”
27 तर परमप्रभुले फारोको ह्रदय कठोर पारिदिनुभयो र तिनले तिनीहरूलाई जान दिएनन् ।
And YHWH strengthens the heart of Pharaoh, and he has not been willing to send them away;
28 फारोले मोशालाई भने, “मबाट जाऊ! एउटा कुराको बारेमा होसियार होऊ । अबदेखि मेरो सामु देख नपर किनकि मेरो अनुहार देखेको दिनमा तिमी मर्नेछौ ।”
and Pharaoh says to him, “Go from me, take heed to yourself, do not add to see my face, for in the day you see my face you die”;
29 मोशाले भने, “तपाईंले भन्नुभएझैँ होस् । म फेरि तपाईंको अनुहार हेर्नेछैनँ ।”
and Moses says, “You have spoken correctly, I do not add to see your face anymore.”
