एफिसि 1
1 पावल, परमेश्वरको इच्छाद्वारा येशू ख्रीष्टको एक प्रेरितबाट परमेश्वरका निम्ति अलग गरिएका एफिससमा भएकाहरू र ख्रीष्ट येशूमा विश्वासयोग्य भएकाहरूलाई,
Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to God's holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful in Christ Jesus.
2 हाम्रा पिता परमेश्वर र ख्रीष्ट येशूबाट तिमीहरूलाई अनुग्रह र शान्ति ।
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 परमेश्वर हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टका पिताको प्रशंसा होस् । जसले हामीलाई हर प्रकारको आत्मिक आशिषले ख्रीष्टमा स्वर्गीय स्थानहरूमा आशिषित पार्नुभयो ।
May the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be praised, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
4 यस संसारको सृष्टिभन्दा पहिले नै हामी ख्रीष्टमा विश्वास गर्नेहरूलाई परमेश्वरले चुन्नुभयो । उहाँको दृष्टिमा पवित्र र दोषरहित हुन सकौँ भनेर उहाँले हामीलाई चुन्नुभयो ।
God chose us in him from the beginning of the world, that we may be holy and blameless in his sight in love.
5 प्रेममा परमेश्वरले हामीलाई येशू ख्रीष्टद्वारा आफ्नै निज पुत्रहरूका रूपमा ग्रहण गर्नको निम्ति पूर्णनिर्धारण गर्नुभयो । उहाँले यसो गर्नुभयो किनकि उहाँले योजना गर्नुभएको कुरा गर्न उहाँ प्रसन्न हुनुभयो ।
God chose us beforehand for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will.
6 नतिजा यो हो, कि परमेश्वरको महिमामय अनुग्रहको कारण सबैले उहाँको प्रशंसा गर्छन् । यो अनुग्रह उहाँले आफ्नो प्रियद्वारा सित्तैमा हामीलाई दिनुभएको छ ।
Our adoption results in the praise of his glorious grace that he has freely given us in the One he loves.
7 अपार अनुग्रहद्वारा उहाँको प्रिय पुत्रमा हामीले रगतबाट छुटकारा अनि पापको क्षमा पाउदछौँ ।
In Jesus Christ we have redemption through his blood and the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
8 पुरा बुद्धि र समझको पूर्णतामा उहाँले यस अनुग्रहचाहिँ प्रशस्त मात्रामा हामीलाई दिनुभएको थियो ।
He lavished this grace upon us with all wisdom and understanding.
9 परमेश्वरले आफ्नो इच्छा अनुसार ख्रीष्टमा प्रकाशमा ल्याउनुभएको उहाँको योजनाको गुप्त सत्यतालाई हाम्रो निम्ति प्रकट गर्नुभयो ।
God made known to us the hidden purpose of his will, according to what pleased him, and which he demonstrated in Christ,
10 उहाँको योजनाको पूर्णताको समय जब पूरा हुन्छ, तब ख्रीष्टमा परमेश्वरले स्वर्ग र पृथ्वीका सबै थोकलाई एक साथ ल्याउनुहुनेछ ।
with a view to a plan for the fullness of time, to bring all things together, all things in heaven and on earth, under one head, even Christ.
11 येशू ख्रीष्टमा हामी परमेश्वरका सन्तानको रूपमा चुनिएका थियौँ । सबै कुरा आफ्नो इच्छा अनुसार गर्नुहुनेको योजनामा हामी अगिबाटै चुनिएका थियौँ ।
In Christ we were appointed as heirs. We were decided on beforehand according to the plan of him who works out everything according to the purpose of his will.
12 उहाँको महिमाको प्रशंसाको निम्ति अस्तित्वमा रहन सकौँ भनेर परमेश्वरले यो गर्नुभयो । हामी ख्रीष्टमा भरोसा राख्ने पहिलो व्यक्तिहरू थियौँ ।
God appointed us as heirs so that we might be the first to have a certain hope in Christ, so we would be for the praise of his glory.
13 ख्रीष्टमा तिमीहरूले सत्य वचन, तिमीहरूको छुट्काराको सुसमाचार सुनिसकेपछि, उहाँमा नै तिमीहरूले विश्वास गरेका छौ र प्रतिज्ञा सहितको पवित्र आत्माको छाप लगाइएका थियौ ।
In Christ, you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, you believed in him and were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit,
14 हामीले हाम्रो उत्तराधिकार प्राप्त नगरून्जेल सम्म पवित्र आत्मा हाम्रो उत्तराधिकारको निश्चयताको प्रमाण हुनुहुन्छ । यो उहाँको महिमाको प्रशंसाको लागि हो ।
who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we take full possession of it, to the praise of his glory.
15 यसकारण प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टमा भएको तिमीहरूको विश्वासको बारेमा र उहाँको लागि छुट्टयाइएकाहरूका लागि तिमीहरूको प्रेमको सम्बन्धमा मैले सुनेको समय देखि,
For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God's holy people,
16 मैले तिमीहरूको लागि परमेश्वरमा धन्यवाद दिन र मेरो प्रार्थनामा तिमीहरूलाई सम्झिन रोकेको छैन ।
I have not stopped thanking God for you as I mention you in my prayers.
17 म यो प्रार्थना गर्दछु, कि हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टका परमेश्वर, महिमाका पिताले तिमीहरूलाई बुद्धिको आत्मा र उहाँको ज्ञानको प्रकाश दिऊन् ।
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, will give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.
18 म यो प्रार्थना गर्दछु, कि हाम्रो बोलावटको निश्चयता के हो भनेर जान्नको निम्ति तिमीहरूका हृदयका आँखाहरू प्रज्वलित होऊन्, र उहाँको निम्ति अलग गरिएकाहरूका बिचमा उहाँको उत्तराधिकारको महिमाको प्रशस्तता के हो सो तिमीहरूले जान्न सकोस् ।
I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, that you may know the hope to which he has called you and the riches of his glorious inheritance among all God's holy people.
19 हामी विश्वास गर्नेहरूमा उहाँको शक्तिको अत्याधिक महानताको विषयमा तिमीहरूले जान्न सकोस् भनेर म प्रार्थना गर्दछु । यो महानता उहाँको शक्तिको तीव्रताको कार्य अनुसारको हो ।
In my prayers I ask that you may know the incomparable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great strength.
20 यो यही शक्ति हो जुन परमेश्वरले ख्रीष्ट येशूलाई मृत्युबाट जीवित पार्नुभएको र स्वर्गीय स्थानहरूमा उहाँको दाहिने बाहुलीमा येशूलाई बसाल्नुभएको समयमा येशू ख्रीष्टमा कार्य गर्दैथियो ।
This is the same power that God worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places.
21 उहाँले येशूलाई सबै शासन, सबै अधिकार, शक्ति, प्रभुत्त्वहरू र हरेक नामभन्दा माथि राख्नुभयो । यस युगको लागि मात्र होइन, तर आउने युगको लागि पनि उहाँले ख्रीष्टलाई राख्नुभएको छ । (aiōn g165)
He seated Christ far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named. Christ will rule, not only in this age, but also in the age to come. (aiōn g165)
22 परमेश्वरले सबै कुराहरू येशू ख्रीष्टको पाउमा सुम्पनुभएको छ र उहाँलाई नै मण्डलीमा सबै कुराहरू माथि शिर बनाउनुभएको छ ।
God put all things under Christ's feet and gave him to the church as head over all things.
23 उहाँले सबै तरिकामा सबै कुरा पूरा गर्नुहुन्छ, र उहाँको पूर्णता उहाँको शरीर, मण्डली हो ।
The church is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
