एफिसि 6
1 छोराछोरीहरू हो, प्रभुमा तिमीहरूका आमाबुबाको आज्ञा पालन गर, किनकि यो उचित छ ।
Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
2 “आफ्ना आमाबुबालाई आदर गर” (जुन प्रतिज्ञा सहितको पहिलो आज्ञा हो), ।
Honor your father and your mother, which is the first commandment with a promise,
3 “ताकि यसो गर्नाले तिमीहरूलाई राम्रो होस् र तिमीहरू यस पृथ्वीमा धेरै समय बाच्न सक ।”
that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth.
4 र बुबाहरू हो, आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरूलाई रिस नउठाओ । बरु, अनुशासनमा र प्रभुको शिक्षा अनुसार अगि बढाओ ।
And you fathers, do not provoke your children to anger: but bring them up in the instruction and discipline of the Lord.
5 दासहरू हो, संसारका मालिकहरूसँग गहिरो आदर र डरका साथ तिमीहरूका हृदयको इमान्दारितामा आज्ञाकारी बन । ख्रीष्टसँग आज्ञाकारी भए झैँ तिनीहरूसँग आज्ञाकारी बन ।
Servants, be subject to your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to the Christ;
6 आफ्ना मालिकले देख्ने समयमा मात्रै तिनीहरूलाई खुशी तुल्याउन आज्ञाकारी नबन । बरु, ख्रीष्टका दासहरू झैँ आज्ञाकारी बन । तिमीहरूका हृदयबाट परमेश्वरको इच्छालाई पूरा गर ।
not with eye-service, as pleasing men, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the soul;
7 मानिसहरूलाई सेवा पुर्याए झैँ होइन तर आफ्ना सारा हृदयले परमप्रभुको सेवा गरे झैँ सेवा गर ।
with good will doing service as to the Lord, and not as to men;
8 तिमीहरूले यो जान, कि मानिसले गर्ने सबै असल कामको निम्ति उसले परमप्रभुबाट इनाम पाउनेछ, चाहे त्यो मानिस दास होस् वा मुक्त होस् ।
knowing that whatever good any one does, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he is a servant or a freeman.
9 र मालिकहरू हो, आफ्ना दासहरूका निम्ति त्यस्तै व्यवहार गर । तिनीहरूलाई धम्की नदेओ । यो जान कि तिमीहरू दुवैको मालिक स्वर्गमा हुनुहुन्छ । उहाँमा कुनै भेदभाव छैन भन्ने कुरा जान ।
And you masters, do the same things to them, leaving off threatening, knowing that you yourselves have a master in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with him.
10 अन्त्यमा, प्रभुमा र उहाँको सामर्थ्यको शक्तिमा बलियो होओ ।
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in his mighty power.
11 परमेश्वरका सम्पूर्ण हात-हतियारहरू धारण गर, ताकि तिमीहरू शैतानको धूर्त युक्तिहरूको विरूद्धमा खडा हुन सक ।
Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand firm against the wiles of the devil:
12 किनकि हाम्रो लडाइ शरीर र रगतको विरूद्धमा होइन । तर, यो त शासकहरू र आत्मिक अधिकारीहरू र अन्धकारको राज्यको शासकहरू र स्वर्गीय स्थानहरूमा भएका दुष्टात्माहरूको विरूद्धमा हो । (aiōn g165)
for our conflict is not with flesh and blood, but with the principalities, with the authorities, with the rulers of the darkness of this world, with the wicked spirits in the heavenly regions. (aiōn g165)
13 यसकारण परमेश्वरको सबै हातहतियार धारण गर, ताकि यस दुष्ट समयमा दुष्टको सामना गर्न तिमीहरू स्थिर भइ खडा हुन सक । यी सबै कुराहरू गरेपछि तिमीहरू स्थिर हुनेछौ ।
Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand them in the evil day, and having overcome them all, to stand firm.
14 यसकारण स्थिर भइ खडा होओ । सत्यताको कम्मरपेटी कसेर धार्मिकताको छातिपाता लगाए पछि यस्तो गर ।
Stand, therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and wearing the breastplate of righteousness,
15 आफ्ना खुट्टाहरूमा शान्तिको सुसमाचार प्रचारको लागि तत्परता धारण गरेपछि यस्तो गर ।
and having your feet shod with that preparation for defense supplied by the gospel of peace;
16 सबै परिस्थितिहरूमा विश्वासको ढाल बोक, जसद्वारा तिमीहरूले दुष्टका सबै अग्निवाणहरू निभाउन सक्नेछौ ।
taking up, over all, the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one:
17 र मुक्तिको टोप लगाऊ र आत्माको तरवार बोक, जुन परमेश्वरको वचन हो ।
and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 सबै प्रार्थना र बिन्तीद्वारा, हरसमय पवित्र आत्मामा प्रार्थना गर । विश्वासीहरू सबैका लागि प्रार्थना र निरन्तर प्रयत्नसाथ यही मन सँगै सतर्क भइराख ।
praying with all prayer and supplication, at all times, in the Spirit; and to this end being watchful in all perseverance, and supplication for all the saints:
19 र मेरो निम्ति प्रार्थना गर, ताकि मैले आफ्नो मुख खोल्दा, मलाई सन्देश दिइयोस् । सुसमाचारको गुप्त सत्यतालाई मैले दृढतापूर्वक अरूलाई बताउन सकूँ भनेर प्रार्थना गरिदेऊ ।
and for me, that speech may be given me, in opening my mouth with boldness, that I may make known the mystery of the gospel,
20 सुसमाचारको निम्ति साङ्ग्लाले बाँधिएको म एक राजदूत हुँ, र मैले बोल्नुपर्ने समयमा म आँटिलो भएर यस विषयमा बोल्न सकूँ ।
for which I am an ambassador in chains, that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
21 तर तिमीहरूलाई पनि मेरो अवस्थाको बारेमा र मलाई कस्तो छ भनी थाहा होस् भन्नको निम्ति, प्रभुमा प्रिय भाइ र विश्वासीलो चेला तुखिकसले तिमीहरूलाई सबैकुरा बुझाउनेछन् ।
But that you, also, may know my affairs, how I do, Tychicus, my beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known all things to you;
22 मैले उनलाई तिमीहरूकहाँ यही उद्धेश्यसाथ पठाएको छु, ताकि तिमीहरूले हाम्रो बारेमा जान्न सक र उनले तिमीहरूका हृदयलाई सान्त्वना दिन सकून् ।
him I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.
23 परमेश्वर पिता र प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टबाट भाइहरूलाई विश्वास सहितको प्रेम र शान्ति होस् ।
Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24 कहिल्यै अन्त नहुने प्रेमद्वारा हाम्रा प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टलाई प्रेम गर्नेहरू सबैमाथि अनुग्रह रहोस् ।
Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity.
