व्यवस्था 27

1 मोशा र इस्राएलका धर्म-गुरुहरूले मानिसहरूलाई यसो भनी आज्ञा दिए, “आज मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका सबै आज्ञा पालन गर ।

And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded, saying, Keep all these commands, all that I command you this day.

2 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुहुने देशमा जान जब तिमीहरूले यर्दन नदी पार गर्ने छौ तब त्यस दिन तिमीहरूले ठुला-ठुला ढुङ्गाहरू खडा गरेर तिनलाई कमेरोले पोत्‍नू ।

And it shall come to pass in the day when you shall cross over Jordan into the land which the Lord your God gives you, that you shall set up for yourself great stones, and shall plaster them with plaster.

3 तिमीहरूले पार गरिसकेपछि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएझैँ परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुहुने देशमा त्यसको अधिकार गर्दा यो व्यवस्थाका सबै वचन तिनमा लेख्‍नू ।

And you shall write on these stones all the words of this law, as soon as you have crossed Jordan, when you are entered into the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives you, a land flowing with milk and honey, according as the Lord God of your fathers said to you.

4 तिमीहरूले यर्दन पार गरिसकेपछि एबाल डाँडामा यी ढुङ्गाहरू खडा गर्नू जसमा मैले आज तिमीहरूलाई दिने यी आज्ञाहरू कमेरोले पोत्‍नू ।

And it shall be as soon as you are gone over Jordan, you shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, on mount Gaebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.

5 त्यहाँ तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका निम्ति ढुङ्गाहरूको एउटा वेदी बनाउनू, तर तिनमा कुनै फलामे हतिहार प्रयोग नगर्नू ।

And you shall build there an altar to the Lord your God, an altar of stones; you shall not lift up iron upon it.

6 तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको वेदी प्रयोगमा नआएको ढुङ्गाको बनाउनू । त्यसमा तिमीहरूले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई होमबलि चढाउनू ।

Of whole stones shall you build an altar to the Lord your God, and you shall offer upon it whole burnt offerings to the Lord your God.

7 त्यसमा तिमीहरूले मेलबलि र स्वैच्छिक बलि पनि चढाउनू । तिमीहरू परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको सामु आनन्द मनाओ ।

And you shall there offer a peace-offering; and you shall eat and be filled, and rejoice before the Lord your God.

8 तिमीहरूले यी ढुङ्गाहरूमा यस व्यवस्थाका सबै वचन ज्यादै प्रस्टसँगै लेख्‍नू ।

And you shall write upon the stones all this law very plainly.

9 मोशा र पुजारी अर्थात् लेवीहरूले सारा इस्राएलीलाई भने, “हे इस्राएली हो, मौन भएर सुन । आज तिमीहरू परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको जाति भएका छौ ।

And Moses and the priests the Levites spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hear, O Israel; this day you are become a people to the Lord your God.

10 त्यसकारण, आज मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका आज्ञा र विधिहरूसाथै परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको कुरा पालन गर ।”

And you shall listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and shall do all his commands, and his ordinances, as many as I command you this day.

11 त्यही दिन मोशाले मानिसहरूलाई आज्ञा दिई भने,

And Moses charged the people on that day, saying,

12 “तिमीहरूले यर्दन नदी पार गरेपछि मानिसहरूलाई आशिष् दिन यी कुलहरू गीरीज्‍जीम डाँडामा खडा होऊन्: शिमियोन, लेवी, यहूदा, इस्साखार, योसेफ र बेन्यामीन ।

These shall stand to bless the people on mount Garizin having gone over Jordan; Symeon, Levi, Judas, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

13 श्रापको घोषणा गर्न यी कुलहरूचाहिँ एबाल डाँडामा खडा होऊन्: रूबेन, गाद, आशेर, जबूलून, दान र नप्‍ताली ।

And these shall stand for cursing on mount Gaebal; Ruben, Gad, and Aser, Zabulon, Dan, and Nephthali.

14 ठुलो सोरमा लेवीहरूले इस्राएलीहरूलाई यसो भनेर जवाफ दिऊन्:

And the Levites shall answer and say to all Israel with a loud voice,

15 'कारीगरको हातले बनाएको जस्तै खोपेर वा ढालेर परमप्रभुको लागि घृणित मूर्ति गुप्‍तमा बनाउने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed [is] the man whoever shall make a graven or molten image, an abomination to the Lord, the work of the hands of craftsmen, and shall put it in a secret place: and all the people shall answer and say, So be it.

16 'आफ्ना बुबाआमालाई श्राप दिने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is the man that dishonours his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.

17 'आफ्नो छिमेकीको साँधसिमानाको ढुङ्गो हटाउने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that removes his neighbour's landmarks: and all the people shall say, So be it.

18 'दृष्‍टिविहीनलाई उल्टो बाटो देखाइदिने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that makes the blind to wander in the way: and all the people shall say, So be it.

19 'परदेशी, टुहुरा वा विधवाले पाउनुपर्ने न्याय हरण गर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is every one that shall pervert the judgement of the stranger, and orphan, and widow: and all the people shall say, So be it.

20 'आफ्नो पिताको अधिकार हरण गरी पिताकी पत्‍नीसँग सहवास गर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that lies with his father's wife, because he has uncovered his father's skirt: and all the people shall say, So be it.

21 'कुनै पनि किसिमको पशुसँग सम्भोग गर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that lies with any beast: and all the people shall say, So be it.

22 'आफ्ना बुबा वा आमाकी छोरी अर्थात् आफ्नै बहिनीसँग सहवास गर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that lies with his sister by his father or his mother: and all the people shall say, So be it.

23 'आफ्नी सासुसँग सहवास गर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that lies with his daughter-in-law: and all the people shall say, So be it. Cursed is he that lies with his wife's sister: and all the people shall say, So be it.

24 'आफ्नो छिमेकीलाई गुप्‍तमा मार्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he that smites his neighbour secretly: and all the people shall say, So be it.

25 'निर्दोष व्यक्तिलाई मार्न घुस लिने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is he whoever shall have taken a bribe to kill an innocent man: and all the people shall say, So be it.

26 'यस व्यवस्थाका वचन पुरा गर्न पालन नगर्ने मानिस श्रापित होस् ।' तब सबै मानिसले भनून्, 'आमेन ।'

Cursed is every man that continues not in all the words of this law to do them: and all the people shall say, So be it.
