व्यवस्था 16

1 आबीब महिनाको सम्झना राखेर परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको सामु निस्तार-चाड मान्‍नू किनकि आबीब महिनामा नै परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई रातमा मिश्रबाट ल्याउनुभयो ।

Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to Yahweh your God, for in the month of Aviv Yahweh your God brought you out of Egypt by night.

2 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले आफ्नो पवित्र वासस्थानको रूपमा छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा गाईवस्तु र भेडा-बाख्राबाट उहाँको सामु निस्तार-चाडको बलि चढाउनू ।

You will sacrifice the Passover to Yahweh your God with some of the flock and the herd in the place that Yahweh will choose as his sanctuary.

3 योसँगै खमिर हालेको रोटी नखानू । सात दिनसम्म अखमिरी रोटी अर्थात् कष्‍टको रोटी खानू । किनकि तिमीहरू हतारमा मिश्र देशबाट निस्केर आयौ । तिमीहरू मिश्र देशबाट निस्केर आएको दिनलाई याद राख्‍न तिमीहरूका जीवनभरि यसको पालन गर्नू ।

You will eat no leavened bread with it; seven days will you eat unleavened bread with it, the bread of affliction; for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste. Do this all the days of your life so that you may call to mind the day when you came out of the land of Egypt.

4 सात दिनसम्म तिमीहरूका सबै सिमानाभित्र कुनै पनि खमिर देखिनुहुँदैन । पहिलो दिनको साँझमा तिमीहरूले चढाउने बलिको कुनै पनि मासु भोलि बिहानसम्म रहनुहुँदैन ।

No yeast must be seen among you within all your borders during seven days; nor must any of the meat that you sacrifice in the evening on the first day remain until the morning.

5 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले दिनुहुने जुनसुकै सहरमा तिमीहरूले निस्तार-चाडको बलि नचढाउनू ।

You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your city gates that Yahweh your God is giving you.

6 बरु, परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले आफ्नो पवित्र स्थानको रूपमा छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा त्यो चढाउनू । तिमीहरू मिश्रबाट निस्केर आएको वर्षको समय पारेर सूर्योदयको बेला साँझमा निस्तार-चाडको बलि चढाउनू ।

Instead, sacrifice at the place that Yahweh your God will choose as his sanctuary. There you will perform the sacrifice of the Passover in the evening at the going down of the sun, at the time of year that you came out of Egypt.

7 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा त्यसलाई पोलेर खानू । तिमीहरू बिहान फर्केर आ-आफ्ना पालमा जानू ।

You must roast it and eat it at the place that Yahweh your God will choose; in the morning you will turn and go to your tents.

8 छ दिनसम्म तिमीहरूले अखमिरी रोटी खानू । सातौँ दिनमा परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको सामु पवित्र सभा हुने छ । त्यस दिन तिमीहरूले कुनै काम नगर्नू ।

For six days you will eat unleavened bread; on the seventh day there will be a solemn assembly for Yahweh your God; on that day you must do no work.

9 तिमीहरूले आफ्ना लागि सात दिन गन्‍नू । पाकेको बाली काट्न सुरु गर्ने समयदेखि तिमीहरूले सात दिन गन्‍नू ।

You will count seven weeks for yourselves; from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain you must start counting seven weeks.

10 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुभएको आशिष्‌मुताबिक तिमीहरूले दिने स्वैच्छिक बलिको योगदानसहित परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका लागि साताहरूको चाड मान्‍नू ।

You must keep the Festival of Weeks for Yahweh your God with the contribution of a freewill offering from your hand that you will give, according as Yahweh your God has blessed you.

11 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले पवित्र वासस्थानको रूपमा छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा तिमीहरू, तिमीहरूका छोराछोरी, तिमीहरूका कमारा-कमारी, सहरभित्र भएको लेवी र परदेशीसाथै तिमीहरूका बिचमा भएका अनाथ र विधवाले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको सामु आनन्द मनाओ ।

You will rejoice before Yahweh your God—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite who is within your city gates, and the foreigner, the fatherless, and the widow who are among you, at the place that Yahweh your God will choose for his sanctuary.

12 तिमीहरू मिश्रमा कमारा थियो भनी तिमीहरूले याद गर्नू । तिमीहरूले यी विधिहरू मान्‍नू र पालन गर्नू ।

You will call to mind that you were a slave in Egypt; you must observe and do these statutes.

13 तिमीहरूका खला र दाखको कोलबाट सबै फसल जम्मा गरिसकेपछि तिमीहरूले सात दिनसम्म छाप्रो-वासको चाड मान्‍नू ।

You must keep the Festival of Shelters for seven days after you have gathered in the harvest from your threshing floor and from your winepress.

14 तिमीहरू, तिमीहरूका छोराछोरी, तिमीहरूका कमारा-कमारी, लेवी र परदेशीसाथै तिमीहरूका सहरभित्र भएका अनाथ र विधवाले चाड अवधिमा आनन्द मनाओ ।

You will rejoice during your festival—you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, the Levite, and the foreigner, and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates.

15 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा उहाँको लागि सात दिनसम्म यो चाड मान्‍नू किनकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूका सबै फसल र तिमीहरूका हातका सबै काममा आशिष् दिनुहुने छ र तिमीहरू पूर्ण रूपमा आनन्दित हुने छौ ।

For seven days you must observe the festival for Yahweh your God at the place that Yahweh will choose, because Yahweh your God will bless you in all your harvest and all the work of your hands, and you must be completely joyful.

16 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले छान्‍नुहुने ठाउँमा वर्षको तिन पटक तिमीहरूका सबै पुरुष उहाँको सामु खडा होओः अखमिरी रोटीको चाडमा, साताहरूको चाडमा र छाप्रो-वासको चाडमा । परमप्रभुको सामु कोही पनि रित्तो हात नजानू ।

Three times in a year all your males must appear before Yahweh your God at the place that he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, at the Festival of Weeks, and at the Festival of Shelters. No one will appear before Yahweh empty-handed;

17 बरु, आफूले सकेजति हरेकले दिनू ताकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुभएको आशिष्‌लाई तिमीहरूले जान्‍न सक ।

instead, every man will give as he is able, that you might know the blessing that Yahweh your God has given to you.

18 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुहुने तिमीहरूका सबै सहरमा न्यायकर्ता र अधिकारीहरू नियुक्त गर्नू । तिमीहरूका हरेक कुलबाट तिनीहरूलाई छान्‍नू, र तिनीहरूले मानिसहरूको निष्पक्ष न्याय गरून् ।

You must make judges and officers within all your city gates that Yahweh your God is giving you; they will be taken from each of your tribes, and they must judge the people with righteous judgment.

19 तिमीहरूले जबरजस्ती न्याय हरण नगर । पक्षपात नगर न त घुस लेओ किनकि घुसले बुद्धिमानीहरूको आँखालाई अन्धो तुल्याई धर्मीहरूका वचनलाई बङ्ग्याइदिन्छ ।

You must not take justice away by force; you must not show partiality nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the words of the righteous.

20 न्यायको मात्र पछि लाग ताकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूले दिनुहुने देशलाई अधिकार गरी त्यहाँ तिमीहरू बस्‍न सक्‍ने छौ ।

You must follow after justice, after justice alone, so that you may live and inherit the land that Yahweh your God is giving you.

21 तिमीहरूले आफ्ना लागि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरको वेदीको छेउमा अशेरा देवीको निम्ति कुनै पनि खम्बा खडा नगर्नू ।

You must not set up for yourselves an Asherah, any sort of pole, beside the altar of Yahweh your God that you will make for yourself.

22 तिमीहरूले आफ्ना लागि कुनै चोखा ढुङ्गा खडा नगर्नू जसलाई परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले घृणा गर्नुहुन्छ ।

Neither must you set up for yourself any sacred stone pillar, which Yahweh your God hates.
