व्यवस्था 11

1 त्यसकारण परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई प्रेम गर्नू, र उहाँका निर्देशन, उहाँका विधिविधानहरू र उहाँका आज्ञाहरू सधैँ पालन गर्नू ।

Therefore you shall 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai your God, and keep his instructions, his statutes, his judgments, and his mitzvot ·instructions·, always.

2 ख्याल गर, कि म तिमीहरूका छोराछोरीहरूसित बोलिरहेको छैनँ जसले परमप्रभु परमेश्‍वरलाई चिनेका छैनन्, न त उहाँको दण्ड, उहाँको महान्‌ता, उहाँको शक्तिशाली हात वा फैलिएको पाखुरा,

Know this day: for I don’t speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of Adonai your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm,

3 चिन्हहरू र कार्यहरू देखेका छैनन् जुन उहाँले मिश्रमा त्यहाँका राजा फारो र तिनका सबै देशमा गर्नुभयो ।

his signs, and his works, which he did in the middle of Egypt [Abode of slavery] to Pharaoh the king of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and to all his land;

4 उहाँले मिश्रका सेना, तिनीहरूका घोडाहरू वा तिनीहरूका रथहरू र तिनीहरूले तिमीहरूलाई खेद्दा कसरी नर्कटको समुद्रको पानीले तिनीहरूलाई डुबायो र आजको दिनसम्म कसरी परमप्रभुले तिनीहरूलाई नष्‍ट गर्नुभयो

and what he did to the army of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea] to overflow them as they pursued you, and how Adonai has destroyed them to this day;

5 वा तिमीहरू यस ठाउँसम्म नआइपुगुञ्‍जेलसम्म उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई उजाड-स्थानमा के गर्नुभयो भनी तिनीहरूले देखेनन् ।

and what he did to you in the wilderness, until you came to this place;

6 रूबेनवंशी एलिआबका छोराहरू दातान र अबीरामलाई सारा इस्राएलको बिचमा परमप्रभुले के गर्नुभयो र कसरी धरतीले आफ्नो मुख बाएर तिनीहरू, तिनीहरूका घरानाहरू, तिनीहरूका पालहरू र तिनीहरूको पछि लाग्‍ने हरेक जीवित वस्तुलाई निल्यो भनी तिनीहरूले देखेनन् ।

and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben [See, a son!]; how the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the middle of all Israel [God prevails];

7 तर परमप्रभुले गर्नुभएका सबै महान् कामहरू तिमीहरूका आँखाले देखेका छन् ।

but your eyes have seen all of Adonai’s great work which he did.

8 त्यसकारण आज मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका सबै आज्ञा पालन गर ताकि तिमीहरू बलिया भई तिमीहरूले पारि गई अधिकार गर्ने देशलाई अधिकार गर्न सक,

Therefore you shall keep every mitzvah ·instruction· which I enjoin you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, where you go over to possess it;

9 र परमप्रभुले तिमीहरू तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाहरूका सन्तानहरूलाई दिन्छु भनी तिनीहरूलाई प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएको दूध र मह बहने देशमा तिमीहरूको आयु लामो हुन सकोस् ।

and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Adonai swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.

10 किनकि तिमीहरू अधिकार गर्न जान लागेको देश मिश्र देशजस्तो होइन जहाँबाट तिमीहरू आयौ, जहाँ तिमीहरूले बिउ रोप्यौ र बारीमा झैँ खुट्टाले पानी हाल्यौ ।

For the land, where you go in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], that you came out of, where you sowed your seed, and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;

11 तर तिमीहरू अधिकार गर्न जाने देश पहाड र बेँसीहरू भएको देश हो जहाँ आकाशका पानीले जमिन भिजाउँछ ।

but the land, where you go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,

12 यो परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले देखरेख गर्नुहुने देश हो । परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका आँखा वर्षको सुरुदेखि अन्त्यसम्म सदैव यसमाथि हुन्छ ।

a land which Adonai your God cares for. Adonai your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.

13 तिमीहरूका सारा ह्रदय र सारा प्राणले परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई प्रेम गर्न र उहाँको सेवा गर्न आज मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका आज्ञाहरू तिमीहरूले दत्तचित्तसाथ पालन गर्‍यौ भने

It shall happen, if you shall sh'ma ·hear obey· diligently to my mitzvot ·instructions· which I enjoin you today, to 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai your God, and to abad ·serve· him with all your heart and with all your soul,

14 म तोकिएको ऋतुमा तिमीहरूको देशमा अगिल्लो वृष्‍टि र पछिल्लो वृष्‍टि पठाउने छु, ताकि तिमीहरूले तिमीहरूको अन्‍न, नयाँ मद्य र तेल जम्मा गर्न सक ।

that I will give the rain of your land in its season, the former rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

15 म तिमीहरूका गाईवस्तुहरूका लागि खर्कमा घाँस दिने छु, र तिमीहरू खाएर तृप्‍त हुने छौ ।

I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.

16 ध्यान देओ, नत्रता तिमीहरू ठगिने छौ र अन्तैतिर लागेर अन्य देवताहरूको पुजा गर्ने छौ र तिनीहरूको सामु निहुरने छौ ।

Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside, and abad ·serve· other deities, and hawa ·bow low, prostrate· to worship them;

17 अनि परमप्रभुको क्रोध तिमीहरूको विरुद्धमा दन्कने छ, र उहाँले आकाशलाई बन्द गरिदिनुहुने छ अनि वृष्‍टि रोकिने छ र जमिनले फसल उत्पादन गर्ने छैन र परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई दिनुहुने असल देशबाट तिमीहरू चाँडै नै नष्‍ट हुने छौ ।

and Adonai’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky, so that there is no rain, and the land does not yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which Adonai gives you.

18 त्यसकारण, मेरा यी वचनहरू तिमीहरूका हृदय र मनमा भण्डारण गर; तिमीहरूका हातमा चिन्हको रूपमा बाँध र ती तिमीहरूका आँखाका बिचमा फेटा होऊन् ।

Therefore you shall lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

19 ती आफ्ना छोराछोरीहरूलाई सिकाओ र तिमीहरू घरमा बस्दा, बाटोमा हिँड्दा र सुत्दा अनि उठ्दा तिनको चर्चा गर ।

You shall teach them your children, talking of them, when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

20 तिमीहरूको घरको ढोकाको चौकोसमा र सहरका द्वारहरूमा तिनलाई लेख,

You shall write them on the door posts of your house, and on your gates;

21 ताकि स्वर्ग माथि भएसम्म र पृथ्वी तल रहेसम्म परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूलाई दिन्छु भनी तिमीहरूका पिता-पुर्खाहरूसित प्रतिज्ञा गर्नुभएको देशमा तिमीहरूका आयु र तिमीहरूका छोराछोरीहरूका आयु लम्बिन सकोस् ।

that your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Adonai swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.

22 किनकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरलाई प्रेम गर्न, उहाँका सबै मार्गमा हिँड्न र उहाँमा टाँसिन मैले तिमीहरूलाई दिएका आज्ञाहरू तिमीहरूले दत्तचित्तसाथ पालन गर्‍यौ भने,

For if you shall diligently keep all these mitzvot ·instructions· which I enjoin you, to do them, to 'ahav ·affectionately love· Adonai your God, to walk in all his ways, and to dabak ·cling to, worship· to him;

23 परमप्रभुले तिमीहरूकै सामु यी सबै जातिलाई धपाइदिनुहुने छ, र तिमीहरूले तिमीहरूभन्दा महान् र शक्तिशाली जातिहरूलाई पराजित गर्ने छौ ।

then will Adonai drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

24 तिमीहरूका खुट्टाका पैतलाले टेकेको हरेक भूमि तिमीहरूको हुने छ- उजाड-स्थानदेखि लेबनानसम्म, यूफ्रेटिस नदीदेखि पश्‍चिम समुद्रसम्म तिमीहरूको सिमान हुने छ ।

Every place whereon the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness, and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates [Fruitful], even to the western sea shall be your border.

25 कुनै मानिस तिमीहरूको सामु खडा हुन सक्दैन । परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले भन्‍नुभएझैँ तिमीहरूले कुल्चने सारा भूमिमा उहाँले तिमीहरूको डर र त्रास हालिदिनुहुने छ ।

No man will be able to stand before you. Adonai your God will lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you tread on, as he has spoken to you.

26 हेर, आज म तिमीहरूका सामु आशिष् र श्राप राख्छु ।

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:

27 परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका आज्ञाहरू पालन गर्‍यौ भने तिमीहरूले आशिष् पाउने छौ,

the blessing, if you sh'ma ·hear obey· the mitzvot ·instructions· of Adonai your God, which I enjoin you today;

28 र परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरका आज्ञाहरू पालन नगरी आज मैले दिएको आज्ञाबाट तिमीहरू तर्केर तिमीहरूले नचिनेका अन्य देवताहरूको पछि लाग्यौ भने तिमीहरूले सराप पाउने छौ ।

and the curse, if you do not sh'ma ·hear obey· the mitzvot ·instructions· of Adonai your God, but turn aside out of the way which I enjoin you today, to go after other deities, which you have not known.

29 जब परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई तिमीहरूले अधिकार गर्ने देशमा ल्याउनुहुन्छ तब तिमीहरूले आशिष्‌चाहिँ गीरीज्‍जीम डाँडामा र श्रापचाहिँ एबाल डाँडामा घोषणा गर्नू ।

It shall happen, when Adonai your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal.

30 के यी डाँडाहरू पर्दनपारि, पश्‍चिमी सडकको पश्‍चिमपट्टि, अराबामा बस्‍ने कनानीहरूको देशमा गिलगालको नजिक मोरेका फँलाटका रुखहरूको छेउमा छैनन् र?

Are not they beyond the Jordan [Descender], behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites [Descendants of Humbled] who dwell in the Arabah, near Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?

31 किनकि परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्‍वरले तिमीहरूलाई दिन लाग्‍नुभएको देशलाई अधिकार गर्न तिमीहरू यर्दन पारि जानुपर्छ र यसलाई अधिकार गरी तिमीहरू त्यहाँ बस्‍ने छौ ।

For you are to pass over the Jordan [Descender] to go in to possess the land which Adonai your God gives you, and you shall possess it, and dwell therein.

32 आज मैले तिमीहरूका सामु राखिदिएका सबै विधिविधान पालन गर्नू ।

You shall observe to do all the statutes and the judgments which I set before you today.
