दानिएल 7
1 बेबिलोनका राजा बेलसजरको पहिलो वर्षमा, दानिएल आफ्नो ओछ्यानमा पल्टिरहँदा तिनले एउटा सपना र दर्शन देखे । अनि तिनले सपनामा देखेका कुरालाई लेखे । तिनले सबैभन्दा महत्त्वपूर्ण घटनाहरूलाई लेखेः
In the first yeere of Belshazzar King of Babel, Daniel sawe a dreame, and there were visions in his head, vpon his bed: then he wrote the dreame, and declared the summe of the matter.
2 दानिएलले वर्णन गरे, “रातमा मैले देखेको दर्शनमा स्वर्गका चार बतासले महान् समुद्रलाई घोलिरहेको मैले देखें ।
Daniel spake and saide, I sawe in my vision by night, and behold, the foure windes of the heauen stroue vpon the great sea:
3 प्रत्येक नै एक-अर्काबाट भिन्न चार विशाल पशु समुद्रबाट बाहिर आए ।
And foure great beastes came vp from the sea one diuers from another.
4 पहिलोचाहिं सिंहजस्तो देखिन्थ्यो तर त्यसका चीलका पखेटाहरू थिए । मैले हेर्दै गर्दा, त्यसका पखेटाहरू च्यातिए र जमिनबाट त्यसलाई माथि उठाइयो र मानिसझैं दुई खुट्टामा त्यसलाई खडा गरियो । त्यसलाई मानिसको मन दिइएको थियो ।
The first was as a lyon, and had eagles wings: I beheld, til the wings thereof were pluckt of, and it was lifted vp from the earth, and set vpon his feete as a man, and a mans heart was giuen him.
5 अनि त्यहाँ अर्को एउटा भालुजस्तो पशु थियो, र त्यो झुकिरहेको थियो । आफ्ना दाँतहरूका बिचमा त्यसले तिनवटा करङ थिए । त्यसलाई यसो भनियो, ‘उठ् र धेरै जना मानिसलाई खा ।’
And beholde, another beast which was the second, was like a beare and stood vpon the one side: and hee had three ribbes in his mouth betweene his teeth, and they saide thus vnto him, Arise and deuoure much flesh.
6 यसपछि मैले फेरि हेरें । त्यहाँ अर्को एउटा पशु थियो, जुन चितुवाजस्तो देखिन्थ्यो । त्यसको पछाडिपट्टि चराका जस्तै चारवटा पखेटा थिए, र त्यसका चारवटा टाउका थिए । राज्य गर्ने अधिकार त्यसलाई दिइएको थियो ।
After this I behelde, and loe, there was an other like a leopard, which had vpon his backe foure wings of a foule: the beast had also foure heads, and dominion was giuen him.
7 त्यसपछि रातको दर्शनमा डरलाग्दो, भयङ्कर, र धेरै बलियो थियो एउटा चौथो पशु मैले देखें । त्यसका फलाममा ठुला-ठुला दाँत थिए । त्यसले चपायो, टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्थ्यो, र बाँकीलाई खुट्टामुनि कुल्चियो । अरू पशुभन्दा त्यो फरक थियो, र त्यसका दशवटा सिङ थिए ।
After this I saw in the visions by night, and beholde, the fourth beast was fearefull and terrible and very strong. It had great yron teeth: it deuoured and brake in pieces and stamped the residue vnder his feete: and it was vnlike to the beasts that were before it: for it had ten hornes.
8 जसै मैले ती सिङहरूका बारेमा विचार गर्दै थिएँ, मैले हेरें र ती सिङका बिचमा अर्को एउटा सानो सिङ बढ्दै गरेको देखें । पहिलो तिनवटा सिङ उखेलिएर झरे । यो सिङका आँखा मानिसका आँखाजास्ता भएको मैले देखें र त्यसको एउटा मुखले ठुला कुराहरूको सेखी गर्दै थियो ।
As I considered the hornes, beholde, there came vp among them another litle horne, before whome there were three of the first hornes pluckt away: and behold, in this horne were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking presumptuous things.
9 जसै मैले हेरें, सिंहासनहरू तयार पारिएका थिए, र दिनहरूभन्दा प्राचीनले चाहिं आफ्नो आशन ग्रहण गर्नुभयो । उहाँका वस्त्र हिउँझैं सेता थिए, र उहाँको शिरको कपाल शुद्ध ऊनजस्तो थियो । उहाँको सिंहासनमा आगोको ज्वाला थियो, र त्यसका चक्काहरू बलिरहने आगो थियो ।
I behelde, till the thrones were set vp, and the Ancient of dayes did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the heare of his head like the pure wooll: his throne was like the fierie flame, and his wheeles as burning fire.
10 उहाँको सामुबाट आगोको नदी बग्यो । लाखौं-लाखले उहाँको सेवा गरे, र दस करोडचाहिं उहाँको सामु खडा थिए । अदालतले न्यायको काम सुरु गर्यो, र पुस्तकहरू खोलिए ।
A fierie streame yssued, and came foorth from before him: thousand thousandes ministred vnto him, and tenne thousand thousands stoode before him: the iudgement was set, and the bookes opened.
11 त्यो सिङले बोलेका अहङ्कारपुर्ण वचनहरूका कारणले मैले निरन्तर हेरें । त्यो पशु मारिएको र त्यसको शरीर नष्ट पारिएको, र त्यसलाई जलाउनलाई दिइएको मैले देखें ।
Then I behelde, because of the voyce of the presumptuous wordes, which the horne spake: I behelde, euen till the beast was slaine, and his body destroyed, and giuen to the burning fire.
12 चारवटा पशुमध्येका अरू बाँकीका बारेमा, राज्य गर्ने अधिकार खोसियो, तर केही समयको निम्ति तिनीहरूका उमेर बढाइयो ।
As concerning the other beastes, they had taken away their dominion: yet their liues were prolonged for a certaine time and season.
13 त्यस रातको मेरा दर्शनहरूमा, आकाशका बादलहरूका साथमा मानिसका पुत्रजस्तै एक जना आउँदै गर्नुभएको मैले देखें । दिनहरूभन्दा प्राचीनकाहाँ उहाँ आउनुभयो र उहाँको सामु उपस्थित गराउनुभयो ।
As I behelde in visions by night, behold, one like the sonne of man came in the cloudes of heauen, and approched vnto the Ancient of dayes, and they brought him before him.
14 राज्य गर्नलाई अधिकार र महिमा र राजकीय शक्ति उहाँलाई दिइयो, यसैले कि सबै मानिसहरू, जातिहरू, र भाषा बोल्नेहरूले उहाँको सेवा गरून् । राज्य गर्ने उहाँको अधिकारचाहिं सदासर्वदाको अधिकार हो जुन बितेर जानेछैन, अनि उहाँको राज्य त्यस्तो हो जुन कहिल्यै पनि नाश हुनेछैन ।
And he gaue him dominion, and honour, and a kingdome, that all people, nations and languages should serue him: his dominion is an euerlasting dominion, which shall neuer bee taken away: and his kingdome shall neuer be destroyed.
15 म दानिएलको बारेमा, मभित्र मेरो आत्मा दु: खित भयो, र मेरो मनमा मैले देखेका दर्शनहरूले मलाई विचलित बनाए ।
I Daniel was troubled in my spirit, in the middes of my body, and the visions of mine head made me afraide.
16 त्यहाँ खडा भएकामध्ये एक जनाको नजिक म गएँ र यी कुराहरूको अर्थ मलाई देखाउनलाई मैले तिनलाई बिन्ती गरें ।
Therefore I came vnto one of them that stoode by, and asked him the trueth of all this: so he tolde me, and shewed me the interpretation of these things.
17 ‘यी विशाल पशुका चारवटा सङ्ख्याले चार जना राजालाई जनाउँछन् जो पृथ्वीमा खडा हुनेहुन् ।
These great beastes which are foure, are foure Kings, which shall arise out of the earth,
18 तर सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पवित्र मानिसहरूले त्यो राज्य प्राप्त गर्नेछन्, र तिनीहरूले सदासर्वदाको निम्ति त्यसको अधिकार गर्नेछन् ।’
And they shall take the kingdome of the Saintes of the most High, and possesse the kingdome for euer, euen for euer and euer.
19 अनि त्यो चौथो पशुको बारेमा अझै धेरै जान्ने मलाई इच्छा भयो— त्यो अरूभन्दा धेरै फरक थियो र आफ्ना फलामका दाँत र काँसाका नङ्ग्राका कारणले त्यो धेरै डरलाग्दो थियो । त्यसले चपायो, टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्थ्यो, र बाँकीमाथि खुट्टाले कुल्चियो ।
After this, I woulde knowe the trueth of the fourth beast, which was so vnlike to all the others, very fearefull, whose teeth were of yron, and his nailes of brasse: which deuoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue vnder his feete.
20 त्यसको शिरका दशवटा सिङ र नयाँ पलाएको अर्को सिङ जसको सामु तिनवटा सिङ उखेलिएर झरेको बारेमा जान्ने इच्छा मलाई भयो। आँखा भएका सिङ र ठुला कुराहरूको सेखी गर्ने मुखको बारेमा जान्ने इच्छा मलाई भयो, अनि त्यो आफ्ना मित्रहरूभन्दा महान् देखिन्थ्यो ।
Also to know of the tenne hornes that were in his head, and of the other which came vp, before whome three fell, and of the horne that had eyes, and of the mouth that spake presumptuous thinges, whose looke was more stoute then his fellowes.
21 जसै मैले हेरें, त्यो सिङले पवित्र मानिसहरूका विरुद्ध युद्ध सुरु गर्यो र तिनीहरूलाई पराजित गर्दै थियो,
I beheld, and the same horne made battel against the Saintes, yea, and preuailed against them,
22 जबसम्म दिनहरूभन्दा प्राचीन आउनुभएन, र सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पवित्र मानिसहरूलाई न्याय दिनुभएन । तब समय आयो जब पवित्र मानिसहरूले राज्य प्राप्त गरे ।
Vntill the Ancient of dayes came, and iudgement was giuen to the Saintes of the most High: and the time approched, that the Saintes possessed the kingdome.
23 ती मानिसले यसो भने, ‘चौथो पशुको बारेमा, त्यो पृथ्वीमा चौथो राज्य हुनेछ जुनचाहिं अरू सबै राज्यभन्दा फरक हुनेछ । त्यसले सारा पृथ्वीलाई नाश गर्नेछ र त्यसलाई कुल्चनेछ र त्यसलाई टुक्रा-टुक्रा पार्नेछ ।
Then he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdome in the earth, which shall be vnlike to all the kingdomes, and shall deuoure the whole earth, and shall treade it downe and breake it in pieces.
24 दसवटा सिङका बारेमाचाहिं, यो राज्यबाट दस जना राजा खडा हुनेछन्, तिनीहरूभन्दा पछि अर्को खडा हुनेछ । पहिलेकाभन्दा ऊ फरक हुनेछ, र उसले तिन जना राजालाई पराजित गर्नेछ ।
And the ten hornes out of this kingdome are tenne Kings that shall rise: and an other shall rise after them, and he shall be vnlike to the first, and he shall subdue three Kings,
25 उसले सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका विरुद्ध बोल्नेछ र सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पवित्र मानिसहरूमाथि अत्याचार गर्नेछ । उसले चाडहरू र व्यवस्थालाई परिवर्तन गर्न कोसिस गर्नेछ । यी कुराहरूलाई उसको हातमा एक वर्ष, दुई वर्ष, र आधा वर्षको लागि दिइनेछ ।
And shall speake wordes against the most High, and shall consume the Saintes of the most High, and thinke that he may change times and lawes, and they shalbe giuen into his hand, vntill a time, and times and the deuiding of time.
26 तर अदालतले न्यायको काम सुरु गर्नेछ, र अन्त्यमा भष्म पारिन र नाश गरिनलाई तिनीहरूले उसका राजकीय शक्तिलाई खोस्नेछन् ।
But the iudgement shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and destroy it vnto the ende.
27 राज्य र प्रभुत्व, र सम्पूर्ण स्वर्गमुनिका राज्यहरूको महान्ता ती मानिसहरूलाई दिइनेछ जो सर्वोच्च परमेश्वरका पवित्र मानिसहरू हुन् । उहाँको राज्य सदासर्वदाको राज्य हो, र अरू सबै राज्यहरूले उहाँको सेवा गर्नेछन् र उहाँको आज्ञा मान्नेछन् ।’
And the kingdome, and dominion, and the greatnesse of the kingdome vnder the whole heauen shalbe giue to the holy people of the most High, whose kingdome is an euerlasting kingdome and all powers shall serue and obey him.
28 कुराको अन्त यही हो । म, दानिएलको बारेमा, मेरा विचारहरूले मलाई धेरै भयभीत बनाए र मेरो अनुहारको स्वरूप परिवर्तन भयो । तर यी कुराहरू मैले आफूमा नै सिमित राखें ।”
Euen this is the ende of the matter, I Daniel had many cogitations which troubled mee, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in mine heart.
