< दानिएल 12 >
1 “त्यो समयमा, तिम्रा मानिसहरूको रक्षा गर्ने महान् राजकुमार, मिखाएल खडा हुनेछन् । त्यहाँ विपत्तिको समय हुनेछ, जुन कुनै पनि जातिको सुरुदेखि त्यो समयसम्म कहिल्यै भएको थिएन । त्यो समयमा तिम्रा मानिसमध्ये हरेक, जसका नाम पुस्तकमा लेखिएका पाइनेछ, ती बचाइनेछन् ।
[The angel also said to me, ] “After those things happen, the great angel Michael, who protects the [Israeli] people, will appear. Then there will be a time when there will be great troubles/suffering. The troubles will be greater than any troubles/suffering since the nations began. At that time, all of your people whose names have been written in the book [containing the names of those who have eternal life] will be saved.
2 पृथ्वीको माटोमा सुतेकाहरूमध्ये धेरै जना, कोही अनन्तको जीवनको निम्ति, अनि कोही लाज र अनन्तको निन्दाको निम्ति फेरि उठ्नेछन् ।
Many of those who have died [EUP] will become alive again. Some of them will live eternally [with God], and some will be eternally shamed/disgraced [in hell]. ()
3 बुद्धिमान् मानिसहरू माथि आकाशको उज्यालोझैं चम्कनेछन्, र धेरैलाई धार्मिकतामा डोर्याउनेहरू सदाको निम्ति ताराहरूझैं हुनेछन् ।
Those who were wise will shine as brightly as the sky [is bright when the sun is shining]. And those who have shown to others the way to live righteously will shine forever, like the stars [SIM].
4 तर तिमी दानिएल, यी वचनलाई बन्द गर । अन्तको समयसम्म त्यो पुस्तकलाई मोहर लगाई राख । धेरै जना यता-उता दौडनेछन्, र ज्ञान बढ्नेछ ।”
But as for you, Daniel, close up the scroll [on which you are writing], and seal it [in order that no one can open it] until the end [of the world] is near. [Before that happens, ] many people will travel rapidly here and there, learning more and more [about many things].”
5 तब, म, दनिएलले हेरें, र त्यहाँ अरू दुई जना खडा थिए । एक जना नदीको यतापट्टिको किनारमा, र एक जना नदीको अर्कोपट्टिको किनारमा खडा थिए ।
When [that angel finished speaking], I, Daniel, looked up, and suddenly I saw two other [angels]. One was standing on the side of the river [where I was], and one was standing on the other side.
6 तीमध्ये एक जनाले नदीको माथि भएका मलमलको लुगा लगाउने मानिसलाई सोधे, “यी अचम्मका घटनाहरू पूरा हुन कति समय लाग्नेछ?”
One of them [called to] the other one, who was wearing linen/white clothes, who was now standing further up (OR, above) the river, “How long will it be until these amazing/frightening events end?”
7 नदीमाथि भएका मलमलको लुगा लगाउने मानिसको आवाज मैले सुनें— तिनले आफ्नो दाहिने र देब्रे हात स्वर्गतिर उचाले र अनन्तसम्म रहनुहुनेको नाउँमा सपथ खाएर भने, कि त्यो एक वर्ष, दुई वर्ष, र आधा वर्षसम्म हुनेछ । आखिरीमा जब पवित्र मानिसहरूका शक्ति तोडिनेछ, तब यी सबै कुराहरू पूरा हुनेछन् ।
The angel who was on the other side of (OR, above) the river raised his hands toward the sky, and solemnly promised, with the authority [MTY] of God, who lives forever, “It will be three and a half years. All these things will end after God’s people stop fighting against those who (persecute/cause trouble for/cause suffering for) them.”
8 मैले सुनें, तर मैले बुझिनँ । यसैले मैले सोधें, “ए मेरा मालिक, यी सबै कुराहरूको परिणाम के हुनेछ?”
I heard [what he said], but I did not understand it. So I asked, “Sir, what will be the result when these things end?”
9 तिनले भने, “ए दानिएल, तिमी आफ्नो बाटो लाग, किनभने अन्तको समय नभएसम्म यी वचनलाई बन्द गरिएका र मोहर लगाइएका छन् ।
He replied, “Daniel, you must leave now. [I cannot answer your question] because what it means must (be kept secret/not be revealed) [DOU] until the time when everything ends.
10 धेरै जना शुद्ध पारिनेछन्, दागरहित बनाइनेछन्, र खारिनेछन्, तर दुष्टहरूले दुष्ट काम गर्नेछन् । दुष्टहरूमध्ये कसैले पनि बुझ्नेछैन, तर बुद्धिमान्हरूले बुझ्नेछन् ।
Many people will thoroughly purify their inner beings [DOU]. But wicked people will not understand these things. They will continue to be wicked. Only those who are wise will understand [these things].
11 दैनिक होमबलि हटाइएको र पूर्ण विनाश ल्याउने घृणित थोकको स्थापना गरिएको समयदेखि, त्यहाँ १,२९० दिन हुनेछन् ।
[But I can tell you that before everything ends, ] there will be 1,290 days, from the time that people are prevented from offering sacrifices each day, that is, from the time that the abominable/disgusting thing is put in the temple.
12 त्यो मानिस धन्यको जो १,३३५ दिनहरूका अन्त्यसम्म पर्खकन्छ ।
God will be pleased with those who remain faithful until 1,335 days are ended.
13 अन्तसम्म तिमी आफ्नै बाटो लाग, र तिमीले विश्राम पाउनेछौ । दिनहरूका अन्तमा तिमीलाई दिइएको ठाउँमा तिमी खडा हुनेछौ ।”
So [now I say] to you, continue to faithfully [trust God] until [your life on earth] ends. You will die [EUP], but when everything ends, you will receive your reward [from God].”
