दानिएल 10
1 फारसका राजा कोरेसको तेस्रो वर्षमा दानिएललाई एउटा सन्देश प्रकट गरियो जसलाई बेलतसजर पनि भनिन्थ्यो। यो सन्देश साँचो थियो । यो एउटा ठुलो युद्धको विषयमा थियो । आफूले दर्शनबाट अन्तर्दृष्टि पाएपछि दानिएलले यो सन्देश बुझे ।
In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a thing was revealed to Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing [was] true, but the time appointed [was] long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.
2 ती दिनहरूमा म दानिएल, तिन हप्तासम्म शोक गरिरहें ।
In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.
3 तिन हप्ता पुरै नबितेसम्म नै मैले कुनै मिठो खाना खाइनँ, न मासु खाएँ, न दाखमद्य पिएँ, न त मैले आफैंलाई तेलले अभिषेक गरें ।
I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.
4 पहिलो महिनाको चौबीसौं दिनमा, जब म त्यो विशाल नदी (अर्थात् टाइग्रिस) को छेउमा थिएँ,
And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which [is] Hiddekel;
5 मैले माथि हेरें र सूतीको लुगा लगाएका एक जना मानिसलाई देखें, जसको कम्मरमा उफाजको शुद्ध सुनले बनेको पेटी बाँधिएको थियो ।
Then I lifted up my eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins [were] girded with fine gold of Uphaz:
6 तिनको शरीर पीतमणिजस्तो र तिनको अनुहार बिजुलीजस्तो थियो । तिनका आँखा बलिरहेका राँकोजस्ता थिए, र तिनका हात र खुट्टाहरू टल्काइएका काँसाजस्तै थिए । तिनको वचन आवाज एउटा ठुलो भीडको जस्तो थियो ।
His body also [was] like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in color to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.
7 म, दानिएल एक्लै त्यो दर्शन देखें, किनकि मसँगै भएका मानिसहरूले त्यो दर्शन देखेनन् । तपनि, तिनीहरूमा एउटा ठुलो त्रास पर्यो, र तिनीहरू आफू लुक्नलाई भागे ।
And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision: but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
8 यसैले म एक्लै छोडिएँ र यो महान् दर्शन देखें । ममा बल बाँकी रहेन । मेरो उज्यालो अनुहार नै अँधयारो भयो, र ममा कुनै शक्ति नै रहेन ।
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
9 तब मैले तिनका शब्दहरू सुनें— र मैले ती सनिरहँदा, म जमिनमा घोप्टो परेर गहिरो निद्रामा निदाएँ ।
Yet I heard the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then I was in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.
10 मलाई एउटा हातले छोयो, र त्यसले मेरा घुँडाहरू र हत्केलाहरूलाई थरथर काँम्ने बनायो ।
And behold, a hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and [upon] the palms of my hands.
11 ती स्वर्गदूतले मलाई भने, “ए दानिएल, धेरै सम्मान पाएको मानिस, मैले तिमीलाई भनिरहेका वचनलाई बुझ । सिधा खडा होऊ, किनकि मलाई तिमीकहाँ पठाइएको छ ।” तिनले मलाई यो सन्देश बोलेको समयमा, थरथर काम्दै म उठें ।
And he said to me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to thee, and stand upright: for to thee I am now sent. And when he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling.
12 अनि तिनले मलाई यसो भने, “ए दानिएल, नडराऊ । बुझ्न र आफ्नो परमेश्वरको सामु आफैंलाई नम्र बनाउन तिमीले प्रयास गरेका पहिलो दिनदेखि नै तिम्रा शब्दहरूको सुनुवाइ भएको छ, र तिम्रा शब्दहरूकै कारणले म आएको छु ।
Then said he to me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thy heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
13 तर फारस राज्यका राजकुमारले मेरो विरोध गर्यो, र मलाई एक्काइस दिनसम्म फारसका राजाहरूसँग राखियो । तर प्रधान राजकुमारहरूमध्ये एक, मिखाएल मलाई सहायता गर्न आए ।
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.
14 तिम्रा मानिसहरूलाई अन्तका दिनमा के हुनेछ भनेर बुझ्न तिमीलाई मदत गर्न म आएको हुँ । किनकि यो दर्शनचाहिं अझै आउन बाँकी दिनको निम्ति हो ।”
Now I have come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision [is] for many days.
15 जब तिनले यी शब्दहरूको प्रयोग गरी मसँग बोल्दै थिए, मैले मेरो मुहारलाई जमिनतर्फ झुकाएँ र म बोल्न सकिनँ ।
And when he had spoken such words to me, I set my face towards the ground, and I became dumb.
16 मानिसका पुत्रजस्तै देखिने एक जनाले मेरो ओठहरूमा छोए, र मैले आफ्नो मुख खोलें र मेरो सामु हुनेसँग बात गरें, “हे मेरा मालिक, दर्शनको कारणले गर्दा म वेदनामा परेको छु । मसँग बल छैन ।
And behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said to him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17 म तपाईंको सेवक हुँ । कसरी म आफ्नो मालिकसँग बोल्न सक्छु? किनकि म जान्दछु कि मसँग बल छैन, र ममा सास पनि बाँकी छैन ।”
For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18 मानिसजस्ता देखिनेले मलाई फेरि छोए र मलाई शक्ति दिए ।
Then there came again and touched me [one] like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19 तिनले भने, “ए धेरै सम्मान पाएको मानिस, नडराऊ । तिमीलाई शान्ति होस्! अब शाहसी होऊ, बलियो होऊ!” तिनी मसँग बोल्दै गर्दा, ममा बल आयो । मैले भनें, “ए मेरा मालिक बोल्नुहोस्, किनकि तपाईंले मलाई शक्ति दिनुभएको छ ।”
And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace [be] to thee, be strong, yes, be strong. And when he had spoken to me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
20 तिनले भने, “म तिमीकहाँ किन आएँ के तिमीलाई थाहा छ? म छिट्टै फारसका राजकुमारसँग यद्ध गर्नलाई फर्कनेछु । म गएपछि, ग्रीसका राजकुमार आउनेछन् ।
Then said he, Knowest thou for what cause I come to thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.
21 तर सत्यको पुस्तकमा के लेखिएको छ, म तिमीलाई बताउनेछु । तिम्रा राजकुमार मिखाएल बाहेक अरू कसैले पनि तिनीहरूका विरुद्ध मलाई शाहसी बनाउन सक्दैनन् ।”
But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and [there is] none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
