कलस्सी 2
1 किनकि मैले तिमीहरू अर्थात् लाउडिकियामा भएकाहरू र शरीरमा मेरो अनुहार नदेखेकाहरू सबैका निम्ति गरेको धेरै ठुलो सङ्घर्षबारे तिमीहरूले जानेको म चाहन्छु ।
For I woulde ye knewe what great fighting I haue for your sakes, and for them of Laodicea, and for as many as haue not seene my person in the flesh,
2 प्रेम र समझको पूर्ण निश्चयताको प्रशस्ततामा र परमेश्वरको गुप्त सत्यताको ज्ञान अर्थात् ख्रीष्टमा तिनीहरूका हृदयहरू एक साथ ल्याइएर तिनीहरू उत्साहित होऊन् भनेर म काम गर्दछु ।
That their heartes might be comforted, and they knit together in loue, and in all riches of the full assurance of vnderstanding, to know the mysterie of God, euen the Father, and of Christ:
3 ज्ञान र बुद्धिका सबै सम्पत्तिहरू उहाँमा लुकाइएका छन् ।
In whom are hid all the treasures of wisedome and knowledge.
4 म यो भन्छु, कि बहकाउने बोलीले कसैले पनि तिमीहरूलाई नछलोस् ।
And this I say, lest any man shoulde beguile you with entising wordes:
5 र म तिमीहरूसँग शरीरमा नभए तापनि, म तिमीहरूसँग आत्मामा छु । म तिमीहरूका सुव्यवस्था र ख्रीष्टमा तिमीहरूका विश्वासको शक्तिलाई देखेर आनन्दित हुन्छु ।
For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, reioycing and beholding your order, and your stedfast faith in Christ.
6 तिमीहरूले येशू ख्रीष्टलाई जुन प्रकारले प्राप्त गर्यौ, सोही प्रकारले उहाँमा हिँड ।
As ye haue therefore receiued Christ Iesus the Lord, so walke in him,
7 तिमीहरूलाई सिकाइएको जस्तै गरी उहाँमा बलियोसँग जरा गाड, उहाँमा निर्माण हुँदै जाओ, विश्वासमा स्थापित होओ, र प्रशस्तसँग धन्यवाद देओ ।
Rooted and built in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye haue bene taught, abouding therein with thankesgiuing.
8 तिमीहरूलाई कसैले पनि दर्शनद्वारा र ख्रीष्टअनुसार नभई यस संसारका तत्त्वहरूअनुसार मानिसहरूका परम्पराको रित्तोपनको धोकाबाट वशमा पार्न नदेओ ।
Beware lest there be any man that spoile you through philosophie, and vaine deceit, through the traditions of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 किनकि उहाँमा परमेश्वरको पूर्णता शरीरमा बास गर्दछ ।
For in him dwelleth all the fulnesse of the Godhead bodily.
10 र तिमीहरू उहाँमा पूर्ण रूपमा भरिएका छौ । उहाँ नै सबै शक्ति र अधिकारको शिर हुनुहुन्छ ।
And yee are complete in him, which is the head of all principalitie and power.
11 उहाँमा नै तिमीहरूको खतना भएको थियो, जुन खतना मानिसहरूद्वारा मासुको शरीरमा गरिएको थिएन, तर यो ख्रीष्टमा गरिएको थियो ।
In whome also yee are circumcised with circumcision made without handes, by putting off the sinfull body of the flesh, through the circumcision of Christ,
12 तिमीहरू उहाँसँगै बप्तिस्मामा गाडिएका थियौ । र उहाँलाई मृतकहरूबाट ब्युँताउनुहुने परमेश्वरको शक्तिमाथि विश्वासद्वारा तिमीहरू उहाँसँगै ब्युँताइएका थियौ ।
In that yee are buried with him through baptisme, in whome ye are also raised vp together through the faith of the operation of God, which raised him from the dead.
13 र जब तिमीहरू आफ्ना पाप र शरीरको बेखतनामा मरेका थियौ, उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई उहाँसँग जीवित पार्नुभयो र हाम्रा सबै पापहरूलाई क्षमा गर्नुभयो ।
And you which were dead in sinnes, and in the vncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, forgiuing you all your trespasses,
14 उहाँले हाम्रो विरुद्धमा लगाइएका ऋणका लिखित अभियोगहरूलाई र त्यसका विनियमहरूलाई हटाइदिनुभयो । उहाँले यी सबैलाई हटाउनुभयो र क्रुसमा टाँगिदिनुभयो ।
And putting out the hand writing of ordinances that was against vs, which was contrarie to vs, hee euen tooke it out of the way, and fastened it vpon the crosse,
15 उहाँले शक्तिहरू र अधिकारवालाहरूलाई हटाउनुभयो । उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई खुल्ला रूपमा प्रकट गर्नुभयो र उहाँको क्रुसको माध्यमद्वारा तिनीहरूलाई विजय समारोहमा डोर्याउनुभयो ।
And hath spoyled the Principalities, and Powers, and hath made a shew of them openly, and hath triumphed ouer them in the same crosse.
16 यसैकारण, अब कसैले तिमीहरूलाई खानेकुरा वा पिउनेकुरा वा चाडको दिनको बारेमा वा औंसी वा शबाथ-दिनको विषयमा दोष लगाउन नदेओ ।
Let no man therefore condemne you in meate and drinke, or in respect of an holy day, or of the newe moone, or of the Sabbath dayes,
17 यिनीहरू आउनेवाला थोकहरूका छायाँ मात्र हुन् तर वास्तविकता ख्रीष्ट हुनुहुन्छ ।
Which are but a shadowe of thinges to come: but the body is in Christ.
18 नम्रताको चाहना र स्वर्गदूतहरूको आराधनाद्वारा कसैको इनाम नखोसिएको होस् । यस्तो व्यक्तिले उसले देखेका कुराहरूमा मन लगाउँछ र उसको शारीरिक विचारद्वारा घमण्डी बन्दछ ।
Let no man at his pleasure beare rule ouer you by humblenesse of minde, and worshipping of Angels, aduauncing himselfe in those thinges which hee neuer sawe, rashly puft vp with his fleshly minde,
19 उसले शिरलाई पक्री राख्दैन । शिरबाट नै जोर्नीहरू र ग्रन्थिहरू हुँदै सम्पूर्ण शरीरमा आवश्यक तत्त्वहरू फैलाइन्छ र तिनीहरूलाई एकसाथ राखिन्छ; र शरीर परमेश्वरले दिनुभएको वृद्धिअनुसार बढ्दछ ।
And holdeth not the head, whereof all the body furnished and knit together by ioyntes and bands, increaseth with the increasing of God.
20 यदि यस संसारका तत्त्वहरूप्रति तिमीहरू ख्रीष्टसँगै मरेका छौ भने, किन तिमीहरू यस संसारमा समर्पित भएर जिउँछौ?
Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the ordinances of the world, why, as though ye liued in ye world, are ye burdened with traditions?
21 “नसमात, नचाख, नछोऊ ।”
As, Touch not, Taste not, Handle not.
22 मानिसहरूका निर्देशनहरू र शिक्षाहरूअनुसार, यी सबै कुराहरू प्रयोगसँगै नष्ट हुन्छन् ।
Which al perish with the vsing, and are after the commandements and doctrines of men.
23 यी नियमहरूमा मानिस आफैँले बनाएका धर्म र नम्रता र शरीरको कठोरताका ज्ञान छन् । तर शरीरको विलासिताको विरुद्धमा यिनीहरूको कुनै मोल छैन ।
Which thinges haue in deede a shewe of wisdome, in voluntarie religion and humblenesse of minde, and in not sparing the body, which are thinges of no valewe, sith they perteine to the filling of the flesh.
