आमोस 8
1 परमप्रभु परमेश्वरले मलाई यो कुरा देखाउनुभयो। ग्रीष्म ऋतुको फलको एउटा डालो हेर ।
Thus he showed me [the] Lord Yahweh and there! a basket of summer fruit.
2 उहाँले भन्नुभयो, “आमोस, तँ के देख्छस्?” मैले भनें, “ग्रीष्म ऋतुको फलको एउटा डालो ।” तब परमप्रभुले मलाई यसो भन्नुभयो, “मेरा मानिस, इस्राएलको निम्ति अन्त्य आएको छ । म तिनीहरूलाई अब बाँकी छोड्नेछैनँ ।
And he said what? [are] you seeing O Amos and I said a basket of summer fruit and he said Yahweh to me it has come the end to people my Israel not I will repeat again to pass by it.
3 यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो, त्यो दिनमा मन्दिरका गीतहरू रुवाबासीमा बद्लिनेछन्, धेरै लासहरू जता-ततै फलिनेछन्! शान्त हो!”
And they will wail songs of [the] temple on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh many the corpse[s] in every place someone will throw hush!
4 खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई थिचोमिचो गर्नेहरू, र गरीबहरूलाई देशबाट हटाउनेहरू, यो सुन ।
Hear this O those [who] trample on [the] needy and to put an end to ([the] afflicted [people] of *Q(K)*) [the] land.
5 तिनीहरू भन्छन्, “औंसी कहिले समाप्त हुन्छ, ताकि हामीहरूले फेरि अन्न बेच्न सकौं? शबाथ दिन कहिले समाप्त हुन्छ, ताकि हामीले गहुँ बेच्न सकौं? हामीले झुटो नापले ठगी गर्दा, हामी मानालाई सानो बनाउनेछौं र मुल्यलाई बढाउनेछौं ।
Saying when? will it pass the new moon so we may sell grain grain and the sabbath so we may open grain to make small an ephah and to make great a shekel and to falsify balances of deceit.
6 यसरी नै हामीले खराब गहुँ बेच्न सक्छौं, गरीबलाई चाँदीले, र खाँचोमा परेकाहरूलाई एक जोर जुत्ताले किन्न सक्छौं ।”
To buy for silver poor [people] and [the] needy for sake of a pair of sandals and refuse of grain we will sell grain.
7 परमप्रभुले याकूबको घमण्डमा यसरी शपथ खानुभएको छ, “निश्चय नै तिनीहरूका कुनै पनि कामहरू म कदापि बिर्सनेछैनँ ।”
He has sworn Yahweh by [the] pride of Jacob if I will forget to perpetuity all deeds their.
8 यसको निम्ति जमिन काम्नेछैन, अनि त्यसमा बसोबास गर्ने हरेकले विलाप गर्नेछैनन् र? त्यसको सबै थोक नील नदीझैं माथि उठ्नेछ, र मिश्रको नदीझैं त्यो छचल्किनेछ र डुब्नेछ ।
¿ On this not will it tremble the land and he will mourn every [one who] dwells in it and it will rise like the light all of it and it will be tossed (and it will sink *Q(K)*) like [the] River of Egypt.
9 “यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो— त्यो दिन यस्तो हुनेछ, सुर्यलाई दिउँसै अस्ताउनेछु म बनाउनेछु, र पृथ्वीलाई मध्यदिनमा नै अँध्यारो म बनाउनेछु ।
And it will be - on the day that [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will cause to go the sun at noon and I will make dark the earth in a day of light.
10 तिमीहरूका चाडहरूलाई विलापमा, अनि तिमीहरूका सबै गीतलाई रुवाईमा म बद्लिनेछु । तिमीहरू सबैलाई भाङ्ग्रा लाउने, र हरेकले कपाल खौरन म बनाउनेछु । एक मात्र छोराको निम्ति विलाप गरेझैं, र त्यसको अन्त्यमा तीतो म बनाउनेछु ।
And I will turn feasts your into mourning and all songs your into lamentation and I will bring up on all loins sackcloth and on every head baldness and I will make it like [the] mourning of an only [son] and end its [will be] like a day bitter.
11 हेर्, यस्ता दिनहरू आउँदैछन्, यो परमप्रभु परमेश्वरको घोषणा हो, जति बेला देशमा म अनिकाल पठाउनेछु, त्यो रोटीको अनिकाल होइन, न त पानीको तिर्खाको हो, तर त्यो परमप्रभुको वचन सुन्ने कुराको हो।
Here! - days [are] coming [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh and I will send a famine in the land not a famine for bread and not a thirst for water that except for hearing [the] words of Yahweh.
12 परमप्रभुको वचनको खोज्नलाई तिनीहरू एक समुद्रदेखि अर्को समुद्रसम्म धर्मराउनेछन्, र उत्तरदेखि पूर्वसम्म दौडनेछन्, तर तिनीहरूले त्यो भेट्टाउनेछैनन् ।
And people will stagger from sea to sea and from [the] north and to [the] east they will rove about to seek [the] word of Yahweh and not they will find [it].
13 त्यो दिनमा सुन्दरी कुमारीहरू र जवान मानिसहरू तिर्खाले मूर्छा हुनेछन् ।
In the day that they will become faint the virgins beautiful and the young men by thirst.
14 सामरियाको पापमा शपथ खानेहरू र ‘ए दान, तेरो देवता जीवित भएझैं,’ र ‘बेर्शेबाको देवता जीवित भएझैं,’ भनेर भन्नेहरू, तिनीहरू पतन हुनेछन् र फेरि कहिल्यै उठ्नेछैनन् ।”
Those [who] swear by [the] guilt of Samaria and they will say [by] [the] life of gods your O Dan and [by] [the] life of [the] way of Beer Sheba and they will fall and not they will rise again.
